I'm a backpacker from England and I've been in Sydney for over a year and I love this city! I've spent the majority of my time working in a hostel as a cleaner so I'm 110% house trained! Although... I'm not going to nag people to do their dishes. So long as everyone chips in to clean the house, it's all good :) I start a new job in the city so I'm looking to move somewhere with easy transport links to the CBD. I sometimes work weekends at an Irish Pub but when I'm not working, I like to get on the wine and practice my flip cup skills, hit the beach or just exploring and checking out new stuff - there's always something going on in Sydney! During the week I'm pretty chill and like to spend the evening catching up with friends, going for dinner, watching movies with pizza or ice cream, and generally just hanging out. I'm really social and much prefer to get to know my housemates and chill out together rather than sitting in my room on my ones. But I totally respect other people's space and privacy and am quite happy entertaining myself. I wouldn't say I'm a girlie girl but I do love anything unicorn related and a good shopping spree! And I am a smoker but wouldn't smoke inside the house. Ideally looking for my own room but I happy to share. I've stayed in bunk beds for far too long and would prefer to avoid them. But hey, if the house and the people are cool then I can make an exception :) I have 6 months left on my visa and will be staying in Sydney for that time. Would be great to find somewhere cool for the whole 6 months, but a shorter contract can still work for me. Writing these things is so cringy - please drop me a message if you want to know anything else :) Thanks... Shiv x

I am a Melbournian relocating herself to find a full time work in Sydney. I have savings enough to support myself for several months while looking for work (diligently seeking for a job as we speak). As a person, I am a very friendly, social, and easy going person who also respects people and their privacy. I am all about cleanliness and being tidy but within a reasonable standard so no need to worry about me going crazy! You also might like to know that I'm very responsible with payments! I am also a mucian who sings, plays piano and guitar (all acoustic) but I will only make some noises with when you can tolerate or when I have the house to myself. I would love to be able to hang out with other housemates time to time, enjoy some chats, food, wine, beer or any other drinking in general whenever we feel up to.
We are a young Italian couple that after our degree, we decided to do an abroad experience of one year in Australia. We are here since 4 months. We are a quite, nice, clean and respectful couple and we like to travel and meet new people, chat, cook and share food and wine, see movies and play tennis.
Friendly, easy going, and respects privacy. Recently moved to Sydney from Adelaide, hoping that sharing a flat will help me get settled in to a Sydney lifestyle. Recently graduated, working part-time here while looking for full-time work. I'm a fairly quiet and organised yet relaxed person. Not a party-er but do like to have fun. I try my best not to inconvenience my flatmates. I will carry my own weight around the flat in terms of responsibility and am happy to share supplies and ingredients. Flexible with moving date.
Having lived and worked in the Top End (Darwin) for the last three years I'm looking forward to city life for a change. I'm a 26 year old lawyer - hard working but very relaxed, friendly and social. All for sharing cooking and meals. I'm no masterchef, but can give most dishes a crack. I eat everything, but happy to try cater to others requirements. I don't have much furniture - but I do have a bunch of camp gear and a small 4wd for any weekend adventures.

Hey, I'm a design/innovation consultant working in the CBD. I'm a big creative at heart so I'll rarely be at home and out most of the time working on one project or another. I'm easy going and relatively reserved but I enjoy a good beer and banter anytime. Looking for a quiet room, probably long-term, anywhere near public transport. I hope to hear from you soon. J
I'd be great to live with because I'm always up for a laugh, never take anything too seriously. Love going out as a group or even just chilling with dinner and a film. Anything. I work so always be able to pay rent on time, I always clean up after myself. Just want to live somewhere nice with a decent group of people.

Hi! I'm Caroline, a Jewellery Designer working Alexandria. I'm looking for a lovely, cosy studio to call home - somewhere quiet, clean and relaxing, and ideally with a bit of outdoor space! I'm a tidy and considerate person and also enjoy going out with friends in my spare time. I am often out and about enjoying the beautiful beaches, cafes and nature that Sydney has to offer. I have a boyfriend called Pete, but he lives full time in Brisbane where he works as a pilot. I spend a lot of time up in Brisbane with him, and he tries to get to Sydney when his schedule allows (normally 1 weekend per month). Thanks Caroline x

Just arrived in Sydney after 9 months of backpacking Asia. After living in NYC for the past 8 years, I'm excited to check out a new city. I'm currently looking for work (digital media) and won't be able to commit to a long term stay until I know the job will be in Sydney. That said, I'm also in the market for short term while I figure out this whole work thing. Either way, priority will be given to furnished rooms. So you probably want to know a bit about me...I'm the type of person who works out so I don't feel guilty eating the entire bag of chips. I'm equality content with being outside riding a bike or hiking or maybe rock climbing (new hobby?) as I am reading a book on the couch with a glass of wine. Balance is key. While I was living alone back in NY, I've been surrounded by people 24/7 for 9 months so having roommates again seems like it'll be an easy adjustment. While I'm ok with us having our own lives, as I'm new to town, I'd much prefer roommates that doubled as friends. Oh.. And I love dogs (just in case you have or were thinking of getting one)
Im from England currently been traveling for the last 9 months and now here for the next couple of months. Im currently in full time in working am looking for a private room to retreat after all these months of hostels and shared rooms. I sing in the shower, make a killer chicken bake and am very clean.
I'm an easy going, clean and friendly chick moving from Brisbane to Sydney to work full time in Fashion Design. I like getting out and exploring, heading to the gym and socializing on the weekends. Looking for some likeminded people to share with!
After many years of chipping away at my employer, they finally agreed to send me across to the Sydney office from Nottingham England. I moved here on Sunday 26th and staying temporarily in Manly whilst I look at places. I'm 27, English, Business Professional - my office is on Berry Street, North Sydney. I play football (soccer), enjoy sports and maintaining a fit and healthy lifestyle. I tend to not watch TV (apart from sporting events) and prefer to listen to music or read. I'm sociable and enjoy a good night out. I used to deliver cocktail classes in the UK so I hope to share some skills with my new housemates. Hoping to find a good apartment, sizeable with access to outdoors (pool, balcony or terrace etc) and living with people that are like-minded; positive, chilled, friendly, active and sociable. I look forward to meeting you soon!
I'm from the United States getting my Juris Doctorate in Law at UNSW. I'm quiet, tidy, but social. I played college soccer and am active as well. I can cook and enjoy a drink or two.
