Hello, I’m Julia and I work full time as a theatre nurse. I am moving from Brisbane and am looking for a room to rent in Sydney! I enjoy watching movies and going out and socialising!
Hi all, I'm Miriam and I come with a shy kitty. I love art, history, philosophical debates, netflix and I work fulltime. Easy convo topics for me is mental illness/health, fucked up politicians, and food. Looking for some cool people to surround myself with, don't mind smokers of tobacco or weed, although I'm not a smoker. I'm not fanatically clean but I enjoy tidiness. I'm vegan, so bonus if you're vegan too. Ideally looking for a place that my cat, Mitsy, can easily access the outdoors, whether it's a garden or a low balcony.
Hi, I'm Stevanus, an Australian Awards awardee from Indonesia. I'll start my master on UTS in February 2018. currently, I'm looking for accommodation. I'm a tidy person, a non-smoker but still tolerable with a smoker (but I might walk away if I feel uneasy with the smoke), I would enjoy a good chat over a drink or dinner or whatever every now and then about movies, music, foods, sports, and world issues.
Tristan and I are moving from Melbourne to Sydney, and would love to team up with another couple and share an amazing place close to the city. I'm 24 and currently working as a Marketing Coordinator for an executive recruitment agency. I'm also studying my masters of marketing part time online. Tristan is 22 and has recently been accepted into the University of Sydney to complete his masters of physiotherapy (hence the move). We're both very outgoing, clean and organised people. We can't wait to experience the social side of Sydney, visiting all the best cafes and restaurants.
Hi nice to meet you! I am a sales professional with a very steady income. I work 9-5 and will do the occasional travel for work. I love food and am extremely clean and organised, and like to cook as well. I am an extremely considerate person and am looking for someone of a similar nature. I'm kind of past the age of partying hence, I enjoy a quiet night in and spend my weekends catching up on sleep, going out to brunch, shopping and reading a good book. I am ideally looking for an apartment near to a light rail station as I work in Pyrmont with secure car space/secure street parking and my own bathroom.
Hi All! Recently back from 8years in the UK (dual citizen) and have been living in Newtown by myself for the past year and a bit. Ready to save a bit of money and also have some friendly faces to come home to in the evening. I work full time in Paddington, arranging the travel for sports teams and large corporate companies. (Yes I can get you discounts and free sports tickets). LOVE to cook for myself/friends/housemates, go to farmers markets, indulge in a netflix binge and most certainly enjoy a good bottle of wine. Looking for a home, not a crash pad and ideally one devoid of housemate drama. All I need is a queen room, some outdoor space and a good kitchen (gas!). I'm all about those good vibes and good chats!
I'm Alex, a friendly, easy-going Perth boy moving to Sydney at the start of March to study a Masters at the Conservatorium of Music. I need a place to stay for about two months while I'm looking for something more permanent. I'm generally quite down to earth, very tidy and will respect the space I find myself in. Happy to share chats over wine or find some shared interests on Netflix but equally would be quite content keeping mainly to myself. I'm very big into arts and culture, film, theatre, fashion and music (I study classical music, so that's my area of expertise, but I also try and diversify what I listen to!). Ideally I'm looking for a cute place with likeminded, chilled out people.
I'm looking for a short term place (up to 3 months) with fun lovers who enjoy colour & texture, getting outdoorsy as well as enjoy crawling up with a glass of wine. Who enjoy exchanging music (someone with a record player is a massive bonus, if not I aim to get one!) Who love interacting with new people but also know when to down time and who can stand the smell of incense burning from time to time. I work in TV production in the city with pretty regular 9-5 hours. I'm usually out and about most weekends, but enjoy being closer to home during the week. I'm originally from Newcastle but have lived in Sydney the past 4 years, with a year trip to Brazil thrown in that time too. I'm looking at areas in the Inner West as well as Randwick, Clovelly, Paddington and Surry Hills.
Hello! I am a young professional who works in finance/accounting in the city. I have a very calm and sweetly natured 4 year old cat. She is always indoors. I also have all my own furniture so prefer an unfurnished room, and if possible a place to put my couch, tv and coffee table at least (even if storage) :) I lived with my similarly aged sister for about 6 years and then moved out on my own into Drummoyne for a year. I love living in the area! I generally prefer to be out during the day and in during the night. I like to keep my spaces clean and organised, and don't mind trying something new in the kitchen from time to time! I am looking for a private room, preferably in a house or somewhere with a courtyard/balcony at least, and it must have it's own bathroom or ensuite. I have a car and will really want a carspace but if not, easy street parking is a must. I like to have my personal space but I am looking forward to meeting some interesting people and sharing time with them!
Hi! My name is Talvi and I'm looking for a room for myself, for a long term stay of 6 months or more. I'm 32 and I work for a small business making custom curtains and blinds. Currently I'm living in Homebush West, where I've been renting for about 1.5 years now with a lovely couple who are sadly moving overseas in a few months time. A quiet and relaxed household is what I'm seeking, without constant parties etc - but I like to have a friend over for dinner occasionally on weekends. I'm a pretty friendly, gentle and chatty person, happy to hang out with housemates, or do my own thing. I like to keep my living space clean and tidy, and always help to keep shared areas in the same condition. I'm not a smoker, and don't have any pets. I'm a bit of a geek and enjoy computers and gaming, and love my sci-fi TV shows - but I'm quiet and always enjoy these with headphones! On work nights I'm pretty chilled, on weekends I'm usually out with friends - I'm also open to sharing a meal and a drink with housemates too. For inspections I can make evenings from Monday to Thursday after I finish work, or anytime of the day or evening on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. If we met for an inspection and found things agreeable I'm also prepared to immediately transfer a bond or security payment, and advance rent as required. My maximum budget including bills is $250 pw.
Hi my names Patrick and i'm a first year apprentice chef. I've lived on the Central Coast all my life and just accepted a job offer at a restaurant in Chippendale. I'm fairly poilite and courteous of shared living spaces. I like to keep neat and tidy Cooperative, Friendly, Respectful, Trustworthy, Easy Going I don't mind making a large batch of meatballs or spaghetti for everyone to share. I don't have any allergies or dietaries. I don't have any lounge sharing furniture, only my own queen bed, desk and chest if draws.
I'm a freelance film and video editor, working in film/tv and advertising. Easy going, down for a chat. Respectful of others physical (and mental) space - and i like a clean environment. Looking for a laid-back shared house hold or studio.
Hello. I'm an easy-going 46 year old looking to share a place in Sydney, where I'll be moving from Melbourne for work on 22 March. I'm fairly flexible with location but keen to live near a train station. Ideally not too far from the city. I am keen to meet up with someone to set up a new property, or move into a partly furnished place. I'm clean and responsible, young at heart, love a drink and a laugh and looking for a friendly, relaxed person to share a place with. I'm respectful of other people and easy to live with. I'm looking to live with someone aged in their late 40's or early 50's who is gainfully employed to either move into a new place or share an existing property. Apart from my bedroom furniture, I do own general household furniture including a fold-up table, bookshelf, coffee table, tv etc While I'm happy to sell off some other furniture, I do own a few things, so if you have a fully furnished unit and/or are not willing to allow someone to truly "share" a space and bring furniture into it, then it's not for me. Otherwise, if this sounds like you it would be great to hear from you.
We are graduate students and close friends, nice to meet you!. We are looking for a home better close to the rail station. Have an car garage.
Hi I’m looking for a single room at early March I’m working and I’m student as well so I’m not at home most of the time I would like to find a place with people under my age. I’m easy going I like enjoying my free weekends outside with friends
We are both passionate young queer students involved in a lot of lefty activism in sydney! We enjoy gardening and cooking, going to rallies, as well as having a couple of beers and laughs of an evening. We both have good vibes and love to have fun, so don’t expect this to be a party free house, but we keep to ourselves pretty well and try to keep ourselves in sync to what our other housemates want, so you won’t see us unless you want to (which hopefully you will!). Mostly looking for a third person to rent a three bedder with, so if you are queer friendly and party friendly, hit us up 💞
My name is Carol-Ann I am 26 working full time as an accountant (that does not mean that I am dull ;P) I am originally from Scotland but have been in Sydney for the past 3 and a half years. Love it here! Was originally a northy when I arrived but in the past year I moved into inner west and have been loving it! I am a tidy and respectful person. I really do not want to move into somewhere unless I feel that I can hang out once in a while with my flatmates. I love being active. I go running once a day or some kind of exercise. Do a bulk cook about once a week. I recently joined a community garden.
I've just finished school and about to start the next step in my life. I'm currently working and just really enjoying life at the moment. I'm pretty easy going and just a generally chill person.
- Australian born - Currently working as bartender in the city - Always looking for cool new places to eat and drink - Generally doing work on computer, listening to music, reading, or consuming food/drink
I'm a 25 year old Sydney local working full-time at an architecture studio in Surry Hills. I spend my free time sketching, reading, catching up with friends and playing sport (basketball, martial arts, rock climbing and swimming). I'm easy going, clean and social. I like discovering new restaurants and cafes but I also enjoy cooking at home (I eat meat but also love cooking the occasional vegetarian dish). I'm very open minded and love meeting new people. Looking for a friendly house with cool room mates. I work through the week so most nights I'm happy to chill out with a book but I don't mind the occasional social outing or house party :)
A couple relocating to Sydney for work and study. Alicia is a marketing professional working in tertiary education and Lewis is studying IT. We are very easy going and neat and tidy. We love wine, food and board games and are keen to make friends with the people we live with. We are very busy with work and study so at times will keep to ourselves.
We are two best friends from the Central Coast looking to move closer to the city to find full-time work. We are easy-going and like to have fun but we're also respectful. We both consider ourselves tidy and clean and understand the importance of this in a share house environment.
