Hello, 26 year old full-timer looking for 1-2 housemates to live with. Going to be looking for a pet friendly rental close to Brisbane. Don't mind where the house is, just as long as it's pet friendly, close enough to the city and clean. I have been wanting to get a chocolate labrador for years and it's time I buy a friend that can sniff out cancer! On the scale of housemates, I'm usually only around on weekends. I am at the gym mostly on weeknights after work and out doing stuff on weekends but if I'm around I don't mind having a chat. I am ridiculously resourceful, diplomatic and reliable. I'm relaxed, tidy and respectful of privacy. This year I tried living in a single apartment to myself but I find living by myself drives me crazy. Give me a message if you are in a similar mind set and we can go have a coffee! Kind regards, Tiffanny
Hi friends, I'm looking to create a home in South Brisbane with someone on the same page as me. I'm fluent in dad jokes and always have a sturdy supply of snacks. I love company but also relish in my own space. I'm not a party animal, in fact I'm closer to grandma. I love finding new places to eat out and binging tv. I have a cat named Gregory House (after the tv series), he's an adorable asshole who mostly keeps to himself. Any questions just ask, Hannah
I'm relaxed, happy and find it easy to get on with most people. I'm quiet and respectful, enjoy a chat and a quiet drink as well as time to myself. I'll let down my hair on special occasions otherwise I enjoy the simple things like getting out into nature with my beautiful little dog. I enjoy the beach, movies (in and out), the markets, eating healthy, exercising and working on ideas and inventions for businesses. I work in Newstead and love the area so I'm looking forward to getting back to that scene soon. I'm originally from New Zealand and still love it here in Brisvegas after 15 years.
We are a Belgian couple who is looking for a new journey in Australia through the Working and Holiday Visa. We both had a job out of Belgium for the past years and living together. Sarah and I are easy-going and polite. We are respectful and like to keep the place in which we live clean and tidy. We really like to have contact with people while respecting each other's privacy. We love fitness, coffee and cultural activities. Also important: We are looking for a private bedroom with private bathroom. Feel free to contact us if you think you have a great place for us!
I prefer a quiet night in chilling with wine and a movie to going out partying till the sun comes up. I'm also a graduate student so will be using my free time for gym and exploring Brisbane and the Gold Coast. As I will be working full-time hours at QUT I want to make my accommodation/house to be as disconnected from academia as possible. It would be nice to live with working professionals who keep regular hours, but its not a deal breaker if that's not the case. Originally from Sri Lanka I am pretty open minded having lived in Asia, Europe and Australia before. I have a lot of experience living in shared accommodation, and I can cook and clean up after myself. I look forward to making connections with both locals and newbies to Australia, that will no doubt make my experience memorable!
I am quiet, clean, reliable and I respect people and rules. I like meeting new people and studying. I like photography (3D and 360 degree), tourism and internet programming. I am interesting in AR and VR multimedia content and programming. I have a background in Information Technology. I am available for questions. It will be a pleasure to meet you. I am going to study english to improve some english skills. I will arrive in October. I am very responsible.
Hi I'm Polina! I'm 29 and I work as an nterior designer. I'm pretty relaxed, enjoy some good chats and getting to know the people I live with as well as respecting other people's space. I love socialising, reading, dancing and art. I have a beautiful and very well behaved cat.
Hi potential housemates! I'm Melicha aka Mim - I work full-time in finance over in Milton so am looking for a decent place with some decent housemates in inner-city Brisbane. Cleaning wise, while my own room may go neglected I like to keep common areas tidy, especially bathrooms. I'm quiet and generally enjoy time on my own. Usually I'm out most weeknights doing things after work (I attend dance classes in the city as a hobby) so if I'm home late, you won't really hear me. While I enjoy time to myself, if you're the type of household that enjoys a drink or two some nights, I'm down for that also! Hope to hear from you.
Hi, I'm Laura, a doctor from England, but been living in Glasgow (Scotland) for the past seven years. I've have recently made the big move to australia and due to start a new job in Logan next week. I am looking for a sociable house/flat with flatmates who hang out together from time to time but I am respectful of people's privacy. Quite keen on embracing the outdoor way of living - as you can imagine, its pretty much grey/raining/windy here all the time. I'm easygoing and active, enjoy fitness/playing netball. I'm not impartial to a glass of wine (or three!) at the weekends and the odd netflix series (by odd, I mean binge over a two day period). I'm going to be based in the emergency department and the job involves shift work. Not too sure of the rota yet, but they will involve some early starts and some nightshifts. It would be great to live someone/people who are respectful of this. I'll also be driving to work so nearby parking is a must! Thanks! Laura x
we are a couple from colombia, we friendly and cheerful, we likes the orden and keep our place clean. we looking for a flatmates, with which we can to improved our english
Hey, my name is Hannah. I'm looking for housemate(s) who are financially reliable, clean, considerate and fun! I'm an outgoing, friendly and social person and enjoy exploring new bars & restaurants & cafes (absolutely love going out for breakfast and have been known to drive 30 mins just to get good coffee across town), the beach, good wine, cooking (sometimes). I love getting out for walks and hikes and keep a pretty busy lifestyle but also love the finer things in life. I work in Moreton Bay so from Mon-Fri am out of the house from around 7am-7pm for the commute. I'm hoping to find housemates that enjoy sharing a wine or two together and are cool and respectful and basically that the house is somewhere that I enjoy being in and don't just have to stay in my room when I'm home. If this sounds like you too, I would love to hear from you
I'm very busy with work during the days and in the weekends and in the evenings I work and play in a dancing school, so when I am home I really enjoy my quiet time. I love pets but no time to have one of my own so I would love roommates who have a dog or a cat! I'm open to all kinds of people (all cultures, religions, genders, food and sexual preferences) as long as we can respect eachother in our own choices :). My moving date is flexible. Room has to be furnished.
Hi Gang, I'm a very respectful, neat & tidy single guy. Having both owned and share housed several times I've learnt how to get along with most Folks My wish list, (though not strict) is LGBTIQ friendly (a Must !), WiFi / bills included, Double bed, furnished, a/c, own bathroom. I lived and worked in Brisbane before and recently returned home from Byron Shire. Love movies, Beach, quiet nights at home, walking and visiting family & friends. I'm punctual with rent / bills, don't mind doing the dishes, sharing a meal or two, nor helping keep the place clean and homely. Drop us a line if you think your interested. Kind Regards Doug :)
Hey! I'm Adam, this is Kate, we're an English couple and have just moved to Brisbane. We're both clean, respectful and easy going people. We're not 'party people' although we're all for having a few drinks and socialising, we also enjoy our own space and respect other's privacy. We also love dogs :)
Vibrant fun loving 27 y/o from Scotland! Brisbane is basically home! I work 2 jobs - at Lush cosmetics - yes the bath bomb store - and in a beautiful bar in west End called Wandering Cooks. On my days off I usually go off exploring, hiking, to the beach or head to the park to read and write. Really chilled, super clean and tidy. Respectful of other people's space but do enjoy socialising and cooking for people. Avid baker so there's always treats around. I'll begin studying early next year. Any other questions, shoot me a message 😌
Hey, I'm a full-time (non-smoking) chef originally from Canada looking for a new place to call home. I am a clean, respectful and reliable individual seeking like-minded roomies. I enjoy catching up for a drink on an evening off, but highly value down time from my 50-60 hour weeks. Days off are usually spent passed out on a beach or exploring a forest. I require a private (preferably) unfurnished bedroom and secure off-street parking is a MUST. Budget is $250 weekly (inclusive of utilities and wifi)
Two years ago, as an Australian permanent resident, I left Australia to go back to America in order to be closer to my Dad, who was dying of cancer. This past May 2017, he ended his battle with cancer and passed. During these past couple of years, I have had the privilege of working for some prominent companies here in America. I am an award-winning Manager and Paralegal with 12 years experience and well equipped with an MBA/MS. I'll be arriving in Brisbane on 19 September 2017 and will be looking for work. Looking for somewhere to start my life again in Australia.....in a new city. My goal is to work and save money to purchase a flat in the area whilst having a room. Previously lived in Sydney and Newcastle for over 5 years (but these places didn't suit my lifestyle - I am laid back and friendly). I'm American, a gay male, 40 years old with a very outgoing personality and also like my privacy as well. Fitness and travel are important to me and it would be great to be around like-minded folks. I have done the university student thing so ideally, I'd like to be around professionals who'd enjoy a happy hour or two and maybe a night out on the weekends. I'm new to Brisbane and would like to meet other like-minded people. Lets meet and see if we click! Please do not hesitate to contact me with further questions. Regards, Ian
I like to keep busy between work, study, family, friends and gym but still like the spontaneous adventure when there's time. I'm from the Gold Coast but have lived in Brisbane for the past 6 years through uni and then work. I started to move up in my career but decided that it wasn't for me so resigned and went traveling for 6 months and now I'm back and starting again. I'm looking for a furnished room, available sometime in October. I'm looking to stay from 4-12 months, and prefer it to be relatively centrally located in Brisbane. I also love cooking and eating!
Hi, so I'm 21 years old and work full time at a pharmacy in the City. I mainly work the afternoon/ evening shifts from Monday to Friday. I'm super laid back and easy to talk to, happy to meet new people. I have a car so I'll spend most weekends catching up with family and friends, around Brisbane or on the Sunshine Coast. I'm not originally from Brisbane, so every few months I head back up north for a few days to catch up with my family. I'm respectful of other peoples privacy, but also happy to have a beer and chat whenever you'd like. I'm all for having a clean home so you won't have a problem with me keeping up with house duties.
Hi! I’m someone who loves to make sure my space is clean and tidy everyday. Will definitely make sure kitchens and toilets are always maintained clean too! I’m not a noisy person, but I love to have a chat with people. Looking forward to find a nice space to live with my partner under my budget! Cheers 😄
