Hi there, I'm a working professional seeking to move to Melbourne CBD in the coming new year. I currently work at Docklands and would love to team up with anyone that would be able to commit to one year rental property/apartment in the city. I'm pretty laid back, work full time in IT. I prefer to live with someone that's easy going and obviously clean and tidy. Hygiene is important. Let me know if your interested and we can catch up for a coffee to discuss further. If you have a room available in the city that would be ideal however I'm not to fuss if your interested in teaming up either. I'm the one on the right in case your wondering :) Best wishes
Hey guys, i'm urgently looking for a new place to stay in summer holiday probably for 3 months. I am currently living in a house with my housemate and I have got hips of house stuff that I should sell before I move ..like fridges, washing machine, desks, beds and so on. Then, i want a peaceful room or house to stay by bringing only 2buggages and my digital piano, because I'm a music student. If you have any place for me anywhere in Melbourne near city will be great for me... By the way, I'm very easy going and positive person would like to go out with my housemates and have a drink etc. I'm a third year music student at monash uni. Clayton campus. Thanks everybody... Looking foward to your friendly and helpful messages.. Xxx
Hey! I'm Mitch and I am a 5th year medical student from Sydney. Looking to find a place in Melbourne while I live and work down there for 3 months over summer. Very easy going, tidy and organised guy. Chatty and easy to get along with. Love having a good laugh with my roomies and going out for occasional drinks.
This is the first time moving out of home and iam really excited lol. Iv got my own queen size bed, a tv and stand and a small toy boy. That's why i would prefer to start up my own sharehouse or move in to a vacant room because iv got no place to put my stuff. Iam pretty chilled, layed back and easy going and i got a good sense of humor. I don't mind a good chat or a giggle ether ehehe. I also love my music so you can turn it up anytime you like but when it's quiet time it goes down lol. if you do have issues with each other it's better to talk them out and resolve it before it becomes a huge problem. On the weekends i don't mind a drink or 2 or even stepping outta the house. Iam up for anything really even just watching TV or movies and having a laugh. During the week for me is work and gym. So nothing exciting really. Also when its warm i love being outside and catching some rays when i have time. Going for walks or runs is always good for ya. Iam independent and Iam very clean. So that means i don't like a dirty house. I would prefer if everyone pitches in to do there part to keep the house clean. If you make a mess ether in the bathroom or the kitchen it's not hard just clean it. I like to do a little cooking but just the basics like rice, pasta, chicken and a good breakfast like eggs and protein pancakes. I always buy my own food coz i do eat alot. if you can cook and chip in the kitchen that would be a bonus. Plus your more than welcome to pitch in for the groceries. Plus when the bills come i prefer to pay them straight away just because i don't like bills piling up. Iam into bodybuilding so usually after work ill come home have a bite to eat then iam of to the gym. So if your into your fitness and you wanna train your more than welcome to join me for a workout. I do like to food bing on the weekends or on the odd occasion during the week if i can't be bothered cooking. I also need to add that i love chocolate and have a sweet tooth so there will be a bit of chocolate in the pantry ahaha. In regards if your a smoker. I don't mind you smoking it's your health but you will be going outside coz there will be no smoking in the house. If you have a dog you can bring it with you. Iam a dog lover myself and be more than happy to walk it and play with it. If we start i own place up i would prefer to live with 3-4 people including myself and the age group it would be between 25 and 30. Anyways enough off me rumbling on i don't want to bore you any longer. If you like what you read than hit me up and we can arrange meeting and discuss it further. Iam ready to move out asap so let me know when your ready.
Okay about me: I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Business (Marketing) full time at Victoria University and working part time as a medical receptionist. I love reading, going to the theatre and listening to 70’s music in my me-time but am down for a social drink or two as well! More than anything I love a spontaneous adventure and trying something new -whether it be bikram yoga or a road trip to a foreign place. I’m also more than willing to have a chat/ debrief after work and cook a meal for everyone. I’m considerate of other people’s things and their space in general. I’m super tidy and won’t leave a mess or an array of dishes for you to wake up to. I’m really just happy to find my spot in the house and fit in with the way that everything currently works. I'm really struggling to get the balance of e-harmony meets job interview here but I hope you find me an attractive candidate? Looking forward to hearing from you :) ,Caitlyn
I'm a backpacker from the uk just about to start a job as a Christmas casual in retail. Love going to bars for drinks and trying new restaurants also like cosy nights in. I'm neat and tidy and up for having fun for a few months in Melbourne!
Hi guys, I'm Ash, a 22 year old currently working in the city in Human Resources. I'm originally from Wollongong but moved to Melbourne at the start of 2016 for work. I love to cook and will be in the kitchen making a meal quite often. Asian food is my specialty! I like to spend time in my room reading, and also going out for a drink on the weekends. On weekend days I often go to the beach, pick up some veg at the markets or go shopping.
I'm fun and bubbly and very easy to get along with. I love socialising and going out but also like staying at home some times, eating chocolate and watching Netflix. Also I am a pretty clean person, tidy up after myself and I love to cook :) i'm looking to live with someone who is easy going and wouldn't mind having a chat over dinner. I'm hoping to be good friends with my housemate. I also want someone who likes to go out and doesn't mind if some friends come over for some drinks on the weekend.

I'm looking to move to inner west Melbourne/Kensington/Footscray in late November but if I find the right household, happy to be flexible. I've just started a new physio job at Western Hospital. I love cooking and talking over a few wines/beers so if you are a social household we would be well suited. I'm also very clean, like a bit of alone time and a full nights sleep, would best get along with people who like to have fun and also respect other's needs.
A country girl who's just moved to the city, about to start working in fashion retail and looking to meet new people! I'm very cruisey and consider myself very easy to get along with. I'm clean, reliable and respectful. If it's a shared house, great! If it's a lease takeover or private studio/flat/apartment on offer, that's great also I'll be in Melbourne as of Dec 9th to come and meet and view anything Thank you

Hi, I'm Daniel and I came to Melbourne one month ago, I'm studying and working in the city. I am a tidy and neat person because I think is the most important to live with other people. I like to see new places in the city and enjoy it.
A few things about me to spike your interest, as I assume you probably get a million messages! I work full time for a land surveyor as well as studying part time as a building designer. I'm hard working and highly reliable.. Brought up the good Ol' fashion way, so I know how to clean up after myself and cook a mean meal well too - if you're keen to share a meal or two together.. I get to the gym or yoga most days and love anything active or in the sun. Love a good weekend out and about or a relaxing night in on the couch with a glass of Pinot.. I'm a very down to earth, easy going person, but definitely enjoy my own space. I am looking for someone who is also respectable and a pleasure to live with. I'm 22, but definitely an old soul.. probably get along better with people quite a bit older than me so more looking for house mates in the 24+ vercinity.. but not too fussed..
Hey there, my name is Giles. I'm a 34 year old kiwi who has been living in Melbourne for almost 10 years. I am a carpenter and I love my work. I work Monday to Friday and the occassional Saturday. During the week I'm up and out of the house pretty early to get to work by 7am. I'm pretty happy and cruisy. I love most outdoor activities like hiking and camping and going to the beach. I also love sport - both watching and playing. I think of myself as a fairly social person and do enjoy great company, although I'm far from a party animal (getting too old for that!). I am quite partial to having a few beers or wines with dinner or over the weekend. Cheers
About to start a full time job with Dep of Immigration in the docklands! Lived out of home for many years and lived overseas - very domesticated.. Love a good Netflix session and listening to the Js while making dinner, enjoy bulk cooking. Usually try to get to the gym in the morning and mandatory Friday knock off drinks! Keen to enjoy everything melbs has to offer especially plenty of gigs!
We are 5 people currently living in St Kilda and here on working holiday visas,(2 from Sweden, 2 from England and 1 from Denmark). We are very respectful of our living environment and our neighbours. Although we are outgoing we are quiet around the house.
Hi guys I'm Milou, 24 years young all the way from the Netherlands looking for a summer spot in Melbourne. I'm a big fan of 80s and 90s music, a good glass of red wine and brains (neuropsychology ex-student). I'm looking for a tidy and chill house with open-minded people who want to grab a beer every now and then 🙂. Feel free to contact me if you have a place available! Cheers
Hi, my name is Kayne. I'm 25 and I'm from Sunbury in Victoria. I decided two months ago that it was time to leave the family home and become more independent. I'd love to create a new share house so that we can create a truly shared, safe space - being from a large family, I'm definitely looking forward to a bit of a more calmer, mature atmosphere (of course, except on weekends entertaining/having fun). I graduated from Swinburne, Hawthorn Campus in 2014 and have since worked full time in IT in Southbank near the CBD; my ideal flat is somewhere close by to really cut down on that travel time. I'm an avid video gamer and reader since forever (mostly Fantasy/Sci-Fi); of course, that means my consoles + TV/some of my books would be coming with me (I have too many books, so some will be going into storage!). I'm an animal lover - I've always lived with both dogs/cats plus birds, fish and even a turtle at one stage. Unfortunately, my pet cat Cola of 10+ years (see my FB page) is a family pet and won't be coming with me. If there is anything else you'd like to know about me, send me a message and I'd love to have a conversation. Thanks for reading!
I moved back from London in March where I worked as a nanny. I like to live an active and fun lifestyle. I like to go on a night out with good friends but also stay at home for a good home cooked meal. My last group of flatmates and I were like family, I'm looking for the same kind of environment!!
I'm 27, just moved back to Melbourne after 2 years in London (originally from NZ). Looking for a sweet new flat, with some cool, fun, down to earth peeps who can share some dins and drinks with from time to time. Either in an existing flateshsre or open to buddying up and getting a place with someone. I work full time in the city so pretty chilled during the week but like to get out and about in the weekend :)
A sociable and professional couple from the UK, we have come to Australia to experience the culture and soak up the lifestyle. We're easy to get on with, very clean and tidy and we're considerate of other housemates. Please let us know if you have any accommodation available and we would be happy to meet! :)
I am a down to earth, friendly, reliable and clean guy (non-smoker) who has a full-time job in engineering, and enjoys doing various sports and activities at his spare time, crossfit, soccer, cycling. I'm looking for a room (preferably furnished) in St Kilda, South Yarra or surrounding areas..
I work fulltime Monday to Friday in retail as a Stockroom Manager. I usually spend extra time at the gym. I am sociable , friendly and respectful individual. I enjoy living in a clean environment most of the time and believe sharing responsibilities and tasks.
Not after a shared accommodation,I'm looking for a lease break. Not sure if I'm in a right place to look for it but I wonder if someone is going to move out and look for someone to take over? Sick of dealing with unreliable real estate agents :(
I'm a 26 yo female one year away from completing my postgrad degree in medicine at Melbourne Uni. I'm originally from Sydney. I enjoy being a good mate for my housemates I am a social creature but I am also happy in solitude if people need their own space :) I've been renting with housemates since I started uni 8 years ago so I feel like I've got a grasp on this sort of thing and won't be terrible to live with! I enjoy going to the gym, cooking, going on foodie adventures and binge watching Netflix especially when I have upcoming exams. I love wine and cheese nights. I also enjoy travelling, board games, musicals and boozy conversations about history, science and politics. I am also super clean because I find it therapeutic but am highly tolerant if others aren't so much :) My lease ends Dec 11 and my close friends are all moving away so finding somewhere before then would be ideal! I have a bunch of stuff so unfurnished would be better for me.
I need to get out of home for my mental health. I am in treatment for anorexia but it is unsafe for me to live with my parents. I'm unemployed but have savings and I receive money from my parents. I will also be applying for the disability pension as I am too unwell to work. I am extremely neat and clean and I am casual and friendly and a non smoker. I really need accommodation soon so that I can begin outpatient treatment asap.
Working holiday visa holder from LA. Work in hospitality and advertising. I'm a quiet, super tidy, and respectable roomie, though I do like to socialize over a beer or community meal now and again. Looking for the same in flatmates. As for my interests, I enjoy travel, hiking, photography, sports, film, music, craft beer, wine, food, dessert, exercise, and discovering the best in every city I step foot in. I also enjoy people reading my messages and ignoring them, with the occasional sarcasm. Will Ferrell is my spirit animal.

Hi! My name is Scarlett, 26 years, half German and half American, just finished my Master's degree in Business Development and am here on a working holiday visa. I found a full-time job in an Italian cafe here in Melbourne and am planning on staying until Nov 22/23. I am currently in a hostel and would just like to save some money and have a nicer place while I am here. My room there is booked until Oct 31 which is why I am looking for something asap. I am a talkative and fun yet responsible person, always down for a little chat or game. I have a lot of experience when it comes to living with other people (from all over the world), so certain standards of hygiene and privacy will of course be upheld. ;-) I am not a party girl, especially now that I am working full time. Message me for more information :) Regards, Scarlett
We're 2 friendly guys moving over from Adelaide. We've lived in shared accomodation for 4 years and are very respectful. At this stage we're mainly looking for a place to stay while We settle into Melbourne, before looking for our own place to rent. I'm a Science (animal behaviour) student, and I currently work for the SA Transport Department. Jack has just finished degrees in Media and International Studies and does radio and TV hosting.
My name is Patty, I'm 23, I am a full-time student studying business and keep really busy with uni. I am a pretty independent person, down to chill and have a chat over weekends but during the week I keep to myself and focus on my uni and work. I love to do some cooking or baking on weekends with some wine or a cider to chill. Not into big house parties unless its a rare and special occasion. I like to live in a clean house as I feel it creates a happy place to come home to and its soothing to the mind so I like to keep things neat and tidy! Happy to live with like-minded people. Cheers :)
Hello! I am from England and have just finished travelling SE Asia and the East Coast and am looking to settle in Melbourne for the rest of my working holiday visa. I currently work in hospitality so have quite varied hours but would definitely be around to say hi! I would say I am very easy-going and friendly - I enjoy going out for drinks (especially Gin &Tonics) and socialising, but equally love sitting in and watching Netflix!
Hi I and my brother are looking for a room to share with students/working professionals/back packers etc. We are both working professionals working full time. We are very flexible, supportive and easy going. We like to keep the house neat and clean and respect the privacy of housemate in a shared accommodation set up. We are looking for people with similar interests to share a house with us in or around tarneit/hoppers crossing. Interested people may contact us.
I'm Julie, a French/German girl who just moved to Melbourne. Currently me and my friend Célia are looking for a shared room, but since it's not as easy we started to look for individual rooms, too. I would describe myself as a fun, outgoing and sociable person who loves travelling, meeting new people and going to all those great cafés in the neighbourhood. I'd love to live in a shared flat with some cool people to do activities with and am planning to stay in Melbourne for a few months :)
Backpacker from Canada, on my second visa. Working in south wharf most days, when I have the day off I enjoy cool lil venues with craft beers and snacks. I consider myself to be quite respectful & honest with whoever I live with. I look forward to hearing from some f you!
Hi potential future house mate! I have just finished studying Public Relations full time at RMIT uni, I am now working as a full time Barista and waitress, in the interim of going into the industry. I am very happy and friendly. I love hanging out with my friends and family, occasionally go out but not often as work keeps me busy and I like to relax at home. I also love getting addicted to good TV series, eating good food and enjoying life. Looking for a new place to call home with friendly people, that like their own space but are also happy to hang out. Value a warm home environment as there is no place like home. If you're not laughing with me at my terrible jokes then you'll certainly be laughing at me! Look forward to hearing from you 😊
I work in the music and events industry, so I always have suggestions of fun things to do on the weekends. I pay all bills and rent on time, like to cook healthy meals and enjoy a glass of wine with my housemates. I grew up in Geraldton, WA and moved to Melbourne in 2007.
Currently studying Professional Writing & Editing @ Victoria Polytechnic. In the middle of applying for the role Protective Services Officer through Victoria Police. Bright, cheerful, patient.
Hardly ever there but when I am I'm social yet respectful of others. I like to have friends over from time to time - whether it to be to study, watch Netflix, make dinner and have a drink. I'm reasonably quiet and very easy to get along with. I have a record player and speakers to bring to the household!
I am clean and reliable. Always on time with rent. I am trustworthy and fun. I work most of the time or am usually out with friends, but always keen to hang if you would like. I am a very happy going person :)
Hey! My name is Jared, I'm 26 and I work as a mobile app developer for Android/iOS. I just got offered a sweet job in St Kilda starting Thurs 27th. I'm currently living with a mate while looking for an unfurnished room. I love hanging out for social drinks and barbeques. I'm nice, easy to get along with and I pick up after myself. I like movies and going down to a nice pub for a drink. I'm looking to meet new people and see new places. Hope to hear from you soon :)
Im a quality flatmate as I am easy going, enjoy some socialising with flatmates and time to myself, tidy, polite and friendly. I like bike riding/racing in my spare time and try to keep relatively fit/healthy. Do enjoy a nice glass of wine in the evening though. So I'm balanced! I also have a small boston terrier, who is house trained, does not bark and is generally inconspicuous.
Very friendly and open minded people, we are also respectful and very clean. We are looking for a TWIN room. We are used to live in flatshare and we are looking forward to live this new experience in Melbourne ! =)
Hi there! My name is Alyssa-Jane, you can call me Alyssa or aj :) After completing year 12 i did dance full time for a year and then moved on to musical theatre. I did not complete my diploma for personal reasons but am still very much an artist/performer. I am social but still like my private time, clean and hygenic. Some of my interests include tattoos, animals, singing, dancing, music, 420, making movies. I'm currently working part time as a waitress/barista at Melbourne airport but will find a new job upon moving out of home. Basically what i am looking for is a home where i can feel safe and be inspired by the people around me. I am also a great shoulder to cry on and not judgmental.
