Architect recently moved to Victoria and working part-time for a local university. Clean, tidy and considerate of others in a shared space. I have a car (pref off-street parking) and a bike and looking for a reasonably quiet, friendly inner-suburban place not too far from civilisation. Looking for 3 to 6 months initially with possibility to extend if all good.
G'day, My name is Laurie. I am 40 years old, Australian, and work as an excavator operator. I Have a 6 year old male short hair border collie named Bon who is very friendly and house trained, he is a very well mannered dog. I am looking for an easy going house where my dog is welcome inside. Would be nice if i was moving in with people that would enjoy sharing time with him. The ideal situation for me would be living in a house where maybe someone that loves dogs works from home or a house with another dog and secure yard as i hate leaving him home alone whilst at work, not because that's a problem, just because he is so intelligent. I have vintage taste, I like older style houses that are furnished with second hand stylish bits and pieces though open to modern, I am also a music lover and like to collect vintage audio equipment, vinyl records etc. I am not one to watch a lot of TV i prefer to have music playing and i listen to all genres though I also enjoy peace and quiet. I have lived overseas spending nearly 10 years in Scotland and a couple in Ireland, Where i actually rented rooms my self to people so I am big on respecting your fellow housemates. When I am working I start on site at 7am, so I am generally getting up at around 5, I take a quick shower ,make my lunch and shoot out the door. Times may vary a little depending on where I am working. I don't want to live in a party house, its 2017! I am giving up smoking so would prefer a non smoking household, my intentions also are to start living a healthier lifestyle, I want to be closer to the beach for both my self and the dog, maybe join a gym etc. Though i also want get out and enjoy the restaurants and be able to go down the local and chill with my dog and a cold beer on nice days. I would also like to extend my social network which is part of the reason for moving to the city, I am currently down the Mornington Peninsula which has its limitations. My intentions are to also keep saving for a house, so i don't want to go overboard on rent, though i will be happy to pay a bit more for a place with a bit of space, and that is most importantly right for my dog. I don't have a lot of furniture, I would only be bringing bedroom stuff, kitchen stuff if needed. Though I am pretty resourceful, have a Ute, and I am always op shopping or hitting Garage sales...if there is anything needed i will find it. No i am not going to furnish a house with rubbish! (-; You would be amazed what i find. I think I would like to be living with people around 35 to 45 though I am open to anything really as long as it feels right. I also have a motorcycle (GSXR1000)so if there is room for that, that would be excellent though not essential. I think that will do for now until i can think of more...please ask me any questions, and i will do my best to get back to you asap. cheers Laurie.
Hey, I will be working in Melbourne at Mercedes-Benz from March to September I originally come from Germany if you want to know more about me just write me
Hi there, Australian/European 28 years old Professional/part time student AOU student. I am currently Working 5-6 nights at various locations around Melbourne in the security industry and study part time. Seeking Ideally long term accommodation 3-12 months I'm organised, tidy, independent, experienced share house boarder and I understand the dynamics required to maintain a progressive peaceful shared house hold. House mates who are easy going, respectful, honest, trust worthy, respectful of others things/privacy with good sense of humor and a generally positive outlook would be a bonus. I use my PC quite a bit when at home for studies and gaming so a decent internet connection is required. )10 MB +) A clean neat house hold on or near the beach, with a view of the beach would be awesome! However by no means conditional. I have a car, PRACTICAL CAR PARKING NEEDED I have a hospitality back ground with much experience in kitchens, so I'd say I'm a reasonably good cook. Although I find these days i'm more inclined towards cooking delicious efficient healthy meals. Organic ingredients wherever possible! I don't mind sharing food with the house mates as long as a viable fair sharing system is in place. I have my own cutlery, Tupper ware, plates, mugs, a toaster, small fridge, wine fridge ( maintains perfect drinking temperature)and a juicer for the kitchen. Happy to sell store or donate furniture that is already available in the house. I have all my own furniture for my room including my super gaming pc. Hi my name is Tamika! I currently live with my partner Aaron and friend Jacob. We moved here from NSW and after a falling out with friends we are now homeless but spending our money on hotels each night. We are loyal, polite people from a country town back home and are just in desperate need of short term possibly long term stay to get our feet on the ground and until we find our own place. We are tidy people always up for a chat. If anyone can help that would be absolutely fantastic!! Regards, Tamika, Aaron and Jacob.
I'm a very independent, easy going and active 25 year old. I work full time across two roles as a registered nurse and flight attendant (these days my roster between the two jobs is pretty standard now to 'normal-ish hours' 6:30am-2pm Monday to Friday - meaning I'm home most evenings with the exception of sometimes being interstate one or two nights a week) . When I'm not working I'm often at the gym, pilates or doing something active outdoors, out with friends, watching live music or happy to just kick back for a quiet night at home with a wine in hand and Netflix :-) I am looking for a private room in an established sharehouse with likeminded and easy going individuals (either gender) who are not party animals but equally enjoy a bit of banter and a laugh around the house and would be happy to enjoy a wine, dinner together once in a while.
May be this would help: I am a born Australian and l currently live in Melbourne. During the week I am busy working and gym. Weekends combination of UBER driving, surfing and I have a podcast. I am someone who prefers reading a good book or listening to a podcast as opposed to watching TV.
Hi my name is David and I'm a 25 year old Canadian who has been in Melbourne for the past 2 and a half years. I currently working full-time in property in the city and I'm also completing my masters at RMIT. I am currently in Prahran, ideally I am hoping to find somewhere already furnished, as I only own my bedroom furniture and somewhere near transport which allows me to get to work with no drama. I am looking at moving any time in the next few weeks. I am easy going and love the outdoors. Not too fussed about living in either a share house or with just one other person, preferably someone around a similar age. Own bathroom would be amazing but not essential. I love dogs (who doesn't), I'm a non-smoker and like to keep fit and healthy but also love a night out now and then.
I am 24 years old, I am currently studying International Business in Germany and as a part of this I have to do this internship. Before I started to study I did an apprenticeship as a plumber. I would describe myself as a friendly, tidy and reliable guy who is not looking for a party every day but nevertheless I would enjoy hanging out with other flat mates. In my spare time I like jogging, cycling and (if it wasn't Australia^^) skiing. Listening to good music is also something I enjoy.
I grew up in Berlin, and have lived and worked in Germany, Switzerland and Ireland, before I came to Melbourne 1,5 years ago. Here, I am doing my full-time masters at RMIT in International Urban and Environmental Management, until June 2017, in evening courses. I am very considerate, reliable, and pay my bills on time. Although, I like to socialice with people, I also spent a lot of time studying and therefore, I prefer a rather quiet home, during the week. Most of the weekends, I spend at my boyfriends place. I am flexible regarding the moving in date and looking for a room at least till June/ July. (I don't know yet what I will do afterwards).
Hey I'n Lottie from England. I'm totaly go getting and a lot of fun to live with. I'm honest, kind and a great cook! Hi there! Melbourne born with an Armenian background. Easy going, normal kind of guy. Weekdays 9-5 work, get up early some mornings and go for a run and some nights boxing after work. I try to keep things more low key during the week but like the odd night out. Weekends I like to be out and about. Socialising, eating out, travelling, footy and music. I am a clean guy but not the clean freak type! I act younger than I am and mum says I need to grow up haha

Hello future Flatmates, I'm Georgina, a 21 year old nursing student, and disability carer. Im looking for a home very soon as my current lease is up. I have some furniture, so that would not be a problem. I enjoy listening to and playing all sorts of music. I consider my self to be an out going and bubbly person, but also like my space once in a while. Love animals of all kinds, and enjoy getting into the mountains and hiking when i can. You could say I'm a bit of an outdoors person, who tries to keep healthy and fit. I look forward to hearing from you.

I have a small dog so am looking for somewhere with a yard, but he is house trained also.
Hi I'm Liyasha and I'm 27 year old and currently working full-time. I'll be working at Werribee Mercy in the Maternity Unit from February so I'm looking to move from Kew to the west side of the city. In terms of what I'm like, I'm friendly, relaxed, respect other people's spaces and keep things clean. I've been living in sharehouses since I was 18 so I'm used to adjusting to different dynamics in different households. I enjoy eating out and going to cool new bars and cafes so I prefer to be closer to the city, so I'm looking for places in the inner west with decent access to public transport and the freeway. In my spare time I like to cook, keep fit, catch up with friends, travel, go to concerts and hang out with my boyfriend. I do tend to work long hours (around 100hrs/fortnight) so I do like to unwind at home so I'm looking for a chilled place where I can relax. I'm looking for someone/people who have a similar mindset to me and around the same age :)

We are two open-minded and enthusiastic girls from Germany looking for a nice shareflat in Melbourne. We are both physical therapists enjoying Australia with our working holiday visa. We want to stay longer than expected in Melbourne because we absolutely felt in love with this amazing city. We're used to be tidy and easy going, we love cooking and are always ready for adventures. We are looking forward to have a comfortable home with more privacy than in a hostel and unforgettable moments with our future flatmates in Melbourne. Cheers, Hanna and Kristina
Hi there! My pug Maggie and I are looking for someone great to rent an apartment with in the city so we can walk to work. We're well trained and clean, but loves to make friends and share a drink. Needing someone laid back to match my lifestyle
26 year old professional working in the city, occasionally have to work long hours. I'm equally comfortable spending time with others enjoying a conversation over dinner or going out for a few drinks beer. Weekdays tend to be dominated by work but love watching sport, catching up with friends or just exploring the city. I'm clean, tidy, organised and a willing cook. Conversation always entertaining but also very happy to spend time by myself.
A little about myself, I work at a VFX studio so action films are my jam, I'm a serial weekend bruncher, I have an unhealthy addiction to Zara clothing, and I can make some mind-blowing dark chocolate brownies. I'm a pretty neat and tidy person, don't mind animals if you've got them, and I love a good theory session about what's gonna happen in the next season of Game of Thrones. If you wanna hang out that's cool with me but I work 8 til 6 Mon-Fri, so I'll be more alive on the weekend. Let me know if you're interested in having me come around and check out your place!
Tom - UK Carrie - Scotland Really chilled, down to earth couple, looking for a nice spot to hang out after work. We are both outgoing, social people. We are here in Melbourne trying to save a bit of cash while having a nice time and exploring the area. Love cooking, listening to music, chatting and just chilling. We have been in Melbourne since October, both have full-time jobs, are very clean and respectful. Up for a laugh and hopefully get to know some sound heads :)
Recently moved over from England after gaining sponsorship. I'm 29 and work for a Veterinary company. I think I'm a sociable person but also enjoy quiet evenings. Enjoy cooking, and consider myself a clean person. Also like to play sports and staying healthy. Anything else you'd like to know...just let me know.
My name is Warren, i'm a 27 year old who moved to Melbourne about 7 months ago from Brisbane. I'm all about adventures, travel and making the most out of life. I love exploring the city, going out for a cheeky beverage or some food, going to the gym and just enjoying life. I've lived in share houses for years, so am domesticated and respectful but also would like to live in a laid back sort of environment with housemates that are easy going and happy to chill or go on adventures from time to time. I work for a chocolate company (standard business hours M-F)... so bulk chocolate will always be available.
Hi I'm Natasha. I am Canadian and this is my first year living in Melbourne. I work in the CBD in finance with normal to long hours, and sometimes weekends. I am generally a pretty responsible, quiet, and neat person. I also like to be social and have fun, but typically prefer to go out than to bring people over (although I don't mind if you do). Currently looking for a place closer to the CBD so I can avoid the slow ass tram. I would ideally like to live with people around my age (I'm 29) who are easygoing and open to making new friends. Please do not contact me about sharing a room, I am way too old for that.
Hi potential new housemates, I'm Lucie :) I'm 20, currently studying Criminal Justice full-time at RMIT whilst working part-time for Lorna Jane in the CBD. I'm an active, fun-loving and sociable individual who loves catching up with friends but also enjoys some down time at home with a good movie or a book. I'm a clean, responsible and respectful individual who values organisation and personal space. I have lived independently out of home for close to a year now since moving from Brisbane to Melbourne in January last year. I'm looking for somewhere with likeminded people and somewhere I can call home. I'm more than happy to answer any questions and I look forward to speaking with you soon!
I've moved arount a lot between England and Aus over the past few years... I'm a marketer and a healthy-living chatterbox with a love of banter and a few wines. I'm Welsh (which explains the chatter and the wine thing). Reason I'm looking for some fun housemates? I am moving back to Melbourne having been home in the UK for a year. Before that I had been in Melbs for a few years so know and love and miss the place like crazy. Newly single and embracing my independence, I'm finding my feet as a solo warrior again and would love to find some happy-spirited housemates to share some laughs with. I'm not on Facebook but would love to add you on Whats app/Skype if you fancy a chat, exchanging more details etc I don't mind living with pets either - I'm dog mad and having to leave my puppy in Wales with my family :(
I'm an easy going guy. I love to be clean and I like a good vino or beer at the end of a long day, I socialise when I can but I also love my quiet time. I have recently separated from my boyfriend and looking for a 'together' house where I can have people over and just get along with
Love to cook and bake! Where's the satisfaction in cooking or baking if you have no-one to cook or bake for?! On the flip side, I go to the gym regularly and enjoy getting outdoors for walks and anything active. I'm super clean and have lived in many share houses before. Love to have a good yarn with someone at the end of the day to unwind, but also love to chill out in my room to have time to myself. Everyone needs their own space and time right? I was born and raised in New Zealand so am a true kiwi at heart. I moved to Sydney in 2010 and have also lived in London for two years. Have recently got a job in Melbourne as a Regional Development Manager for Specsavers. Great role and opportunity so am super excited for my move to Melbourne. :-)
I work as an abseiler in the construction industry. Clean and responsible. Like having a beer and a laugh and going away on free weekends. Usually take a month off work every 3 months to travel overseas too.
Hey, I'm Nikki and I just moved here from Brisbane to start a full time job. I am looking to share a flat with people who are easygoing and enjoy a laugh. I'm super clean and tidy and don't mind doing my share of all the house chores!
I would ideally like to find a 2 bedroom + 2 bathroom place in the Elwood area to rent with one other young professional. My name is Emily and I currently live in Elwood on my own in a 1 bedroom place. My lease is up in Feb and I would like to rent with one other person in the Elwood/St Kilda area near the beach. During the week I work full time in the CBD as a manager in recruitment. On weekends I love to be social, have fun, head to the beach and hang out with friends. I have previously lived in a share house of 6 so i am no stranger to sharing! My ideal place would have air conditioning, a courtyard/deck of some kind, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a nice feel to it. I am open to all options of a housemate so long as you are neat, clean, friendly, reliable with rent and above all, easy to get along with :)
Well, I've just looking for a place in which I can have privacy and have some good friends. I'm very respectful of other peoples privacy and space, but if someone want to have a nice chat with a beer I can be that as well. I'm a Chilean lawyer, who is interested in staying in Melbourne for at least two more yeas, so that mean that I will be stable on the rent payment and for a considerable amount of tima
