About to trek off to South East Asia and have a week between my current rental and my departure date. Needing somewhere from Dec 7- Dec 18 or part thereof. Very chilled, easy going & clean to live with ☺️
Hi, I am currently looking for a private room to stay from 7 Dec to 18 Dec 2016 (12 nights). Please message me if you are interested. Thanks. A little bit about me: I think everyone thinks themselves is easy-going and clean, so I will not emphasize that. I am a software developer working at an Internet startup in Melbourne. I love Japanese culture. I can speak Japanese and have traveled everywhere in Japan. I also like hiking and have a little bit experience in mountaineering.
I'm a quite person love to have social people around me though. Doing masters and busy with studying and working romotely with my office backhome . Also looking for casual job in my masters field . Very clean and very good cook .
Hi there i am an easy going professional woman from New Zealand. I work hard during the week. I like to chill out during the week and go exploring the city on the weekends. I clean up after myself and although friendly i respect the need for privacy. I am looking for a furnished room, with ensuite near the beach.
A professional, happy, friendly and kind personality who enjoys intelligent conversation and spending time outdoors. I am respectful of personal space and like to live in a clean and tidy environment. Always striving for holistic health, love listening to entrepreneurial/business podcasts, and making the most of life.
My home is like my haven. I love to relax, chill out, and keep a loving, peaceful space. I'm from London, and have come to Melbourne for the summer to see if I potentially want to live here.. (Very exciting). I'd love to find a place near the botanical gardens and the ocean if possible, and share with someone who doesn't mind my slightlyobsessive love of meditation, yoga and good energy :)
I'm easy to live with, very quiet, not a party man (not drinking nor smoking). I'm not intrusive at all. Respect your privacy! I practice ahletics (I'm a sprinter). I love reading and educating myself.
Amanda: 28, loves blankets and Netflix. Jem: 27, loves ice cream cake and the beach. Bonnie: 6, blonde, loves treats and pats. Is a dog. We've been friends for years and housemates since July 2015, but our lease is up and we want a bigger/nicer place, hopefully in the beach-adjacent area. Jem also comes with a huge 60" smart TV and golden retriever. Amanda comes with the sunny optimism of a golden retriever. Both fully employed, clean, and good conversationalists. Non-smokers. Good DVD collection.
I'm an easy going person, looking for a place to call home. I'm very tidy and clean, I like to chill watching movies and tv shows. I'm a healthy lifestyle lover. I can't live with animals or smokers. I'm a very private person who also respect others privacy.
Mainly looking for team up - I am wanting to move from South East Suburbs to Bayside area Brighton - Port Melb for a sea and city change. I have a little girl who is 8 that lives with me and we have had housemates on & off over the years. I have a full house of modern furniture & all kitchen amenities, I do like my house to look quiet stylish. Hoping to find someone that is looking for a home to share in those areas and start looking at places with me, I have started looking already but I feel, even though I have a strong rental application that due to the price of houses in these areas my rental application may be weakened on my own. We are super easy going to share with young people who are still (respectably) coming in at 5am on weekends or older people who have a very chilled lifestyle. I do have a little dog who is my daughters very best friend that I need to accommodate for also. About us: I am a professional who works as a financial controller full time, we both snowboard & I wakeboard also, always doing fun adventurous things. My daughter is fairly hilarious and depending on you she will either be your new bestie or she will leave you be, she's a little more grown up than most kids her age. We're not home a lot, go away a fair bit and am always out & about doing things. I am pretty clean, even when things can get a bit untidy you generally don't find much dirt in my house, I am very easy going though and understand not everyone enjoys cleaning as much as I do. The only time you will find this to be untrue is when I am flat out busy and have been popping in home for 5 minute pit stops with no time to clean, but I always still try to be considerate of others.
I'm Emma, 41, full-time office hours professional. I travel a little for work and to visit family and friends interstate so don't have a pet but I would love to move in somewhere with a dog (or cat... But prefer dogs). My family are in Sydney so I will be back up there over christmas/new year. Im easygoing, adaptable and generally positive and happy. I like to get out swimming and running and try to keep fit. I am well travelled and there is usually some plan for a work or holiday overseas trip on the horizon! I have been house sitting but need to move out as the family are returning earlier than expected. Short or longer term options are all good... I am ready to go now! Its obviously a bit rushed I had been trying to find somewhere to buy but that search isn't going so well. So ideally I can find someone/somewhere that is at least good for 3 months but open for longer term if my search to buy doesn't go that well ;) I have a car so do need somewhere I can park it, but I'm fine with on street/permit etc.
I'm an osteopath that has been lucky enough to travel the world with work for the past 10yrs. Will be settling back in Melbourne in the new year & I'm looking for a place not too far from the city. I enjoy my sport, live music, food, cooking and keeping fit. I'm tidy and easy going. I will also be traveling for work between 10-15 weeks of the year if that helps. :)
I'm a pretty easy going person, friendly and reasonably tidy. Happy to hang out and happy doing my own thing. I love to travel and looking for interesting stuff to do on the weekends. I work full time. I have two super friendly cats, who loves anyone that will pat them. So you must like cats. I'm looking a a team up to rent a whole house or apartment with a courtyard for BBQ's , a glass of vino and chilling out.
We are a friendly English couple who are traveling Australia. We are arriving in Melbourne at the start of December and we are looking to rent a place for a minimum of 2 months there. We have Lived in house shares previously and we both enjoy it. We both work full time but still like to have fun when we can. We are clean and tidy people to live with and have respect towards our housemates.
I am a 24 year old Dutchie who has been travelling through Australia for 1 month. I just arrived in Melbourne and I would like to stay here for a while, because I love this city!! In The Netherlands I studied Educational Sciences and Clinical Child Psychology. In my spare time a love to play hockey, sail, hike, read and .. I actually enjoy working. I worked as a barista in the Netherlands and I hope to find a job like that in Melbourne. I am energetic and curious, which means that I am always up for having dinner or a drink together, and/or going out and doing or seeing something new! I am also very tidy, adaptable and relaxed. I can blend in any atmosphere :)
Easy going 26 year old work in Sales, Looking to live in Prahran/ Richmond area. Love to have fun on the weekends and head out with my mates. Love to chill and get to know know new people. I am very easy going and get along with basically everyone. happy to team up with a few people on here so dont be shy!!
Originally from England. I've been travelling solo for the past couple of years around the Asia Pacific region, spending 2015 in Australia on a working holiday visa. Melbourne captured my heart and I've decided to emigrate over this way, recently scoring an awesome position with a digital agency in Collingwood! Professionally I'm a software developer, easy going and love meeting new people to share stories and ideas with. I'm not a party animal (hangovers now last two days) but enjoy a beer with good company on the weekends, preferably soaking up the sun in the park or on the beach. Looking for friendly and sociable house mates who have their own thing going on but are up for hanging out occasionally in the evenings/weekends. When I'm not reading or losing track of time on Netflix I love to get outdoors and go hiking. I'm also a big contemporary art fan, although my ability to hold a critical conversation about it is lacking, and I've got plans to try and learn the piano now I'm settling down but we'll see how that plays out...
Hi I'm easy going and enjoy to relax by doing activities after work (run, gym etc) Enjoy a clean house as I am neat and tidy. Purely require accommodation more for work so I will not be there all the time. Most weekends I would go back to Geelong.

Hi, We are a couple of Professionals, looking for a place to sleep closer to the city to ease our current 3 hour a day commute. We are an Architect and an Interior Designer working full time and doing additional CPD study at night. We are looking for super clean, neat and respectful flatmates. We are not looking for a party house or a house filled with students as we are way past this stage. This is a short term 6 month run for us as we are looking to purchase our first property by June 2017. We would be happy to house sit for shorter periods or quietly reside in a granny flat or the like. We would prefer to start any accommodation in the first week of January as we are away for most of December. We would also be happy to take over a lease. We enjoy being active running, bike riding and picnics when not working 40+ hours per week.
We are three Swedish girls looking for a fun share house to move in to in the beginning of January. We all are going to stay in Melbourne for three months. Two of us is working as bartenders and one as a nanny. Hit us up Melbs!!
Hi! I'm a 22-year-old student from Finland but I live and study Food & Nutrition in Uppsala, Sweden. I'm coming to Melbourne to do an exchange semester at Deakin university. I love: to cook, dance, travel, read, Netflix&chill and run. I'm tidy (but not too tidy), I'm social but love to be by myself every once in a while. And I love dogs! Love, Emma
I am an outgoing, retired, mature aged, single, Canadian woman with a GSOH. I enjoy cooking/baking and like to share a glass of wine or two over a meal. Enjoy movies, music and comedy. Have traveled therefore have extensive experience in shared accommodation. Like to keep a neat and clean household. Am very honest, trustworthy, reliable with an excellent rental rating, always paying on time. Respectful of everyone I live with I am quiet keeping mostly to myself.
These things where you have to boost about yourself are so full of shit 😂 Everybody has their own different opinions. I guess what could be great about me to live with is that I am a Kiwi so I'm honest & upfront, would rather stay as far away from drama as possible and yeah clean up after yourself 😅
Hello! I'm a 30 year old female working full-time Mon-Fri 9 to 5 in the city. Spent the last 17 years living and travelling between different cities and work has now brought me to Melbourne. Most evenings and weekends I am usually out rock climbing or hiking. I love travel, outdoor adventures, live gigs and movies! I'm always on the go so you may not see much of me at home. But when I do get some downtime I'm always happy to have a meal or drink with my housemates, or just hang out at home with a good movie marathon. Housekeeping wise - not overly OCD, I usually just clean up as I go. Generally I am quite chilled and try not to sweat the small stuff. Life's too short for that, right? Non-smoker and not into wild house parties. Preferably housemates who are similar in these respects and appreciate a quiet and peaceful home to return to. Love animals too and certainly won't mind if you have a cat or dog .... as long as they love cuddles and don't chew on my shoes!
Hi guys, I'm Phil, obviously looking for a place to live/share. I'm living in a share house in aspendale at the moment but am looking to move a little closer to the city to get closer to work (if possible). I'm really easy going, play a lot of sport, environmental scientist "by trade" and am currently working as a project supervisor in the contaminated land industry. During the week (after work hours) I'm usually at footy training or trying to stay fit in one way or another, which means half the time im home late and straight into bed. i'm a non-smoker and don't drink during the week generally, but enjoy a social drink on the weekends. Looking at medium to longterm place to stay, but pretty flexible either way. i'm a very friendly, respectful and tidy person (can't live without a dishwasher though!). I've travelled a lot so I've learned to get along with people from all walks of life, I think travelling gives you a better perspective on life and people in general anyway. Next trip is Japan in Jan if you're keen? ;) Potentially could have joint custody of a cat (ie. 1 month on 1 month off - its a long story), but if you don't like or can't have pets I wouldn't bring him - he's equally happy being where he is atm full time too.
Fun, professional (contract management), stable, into the gym (training, eating well and lots of sleep). Non-smoker. Easygoing and like to be social but not interested in moving into a party house. Clean, respecting and prefer ages mid to late 20's. Looking for those who are fitness minded either to find a place together (with separate private rooms) or move into a vacant or established property. A lifestyle description helps. Cheers
I'll be starting a new job as a nurse in early February next year working part-time (4 days a week). I'm looking for an unfurnished room from the end of January for 12 months. A little bit about me ... I'm friendly, easy-going and sociable. I like to keep my space clean and tidy. I enjoy traveling and spending time outdoors. When I'm not studying or working I enjoy socialising with friends and being out and about, but I also like a bit of downtime at home. I'd love to find housemates with similar values and interests.

Hi! We're Ali and Claire, both 21 year old girls. We met in high school and we've been friends for the seven years since! Ali is a Canadian/American who has just finished university in Vancouver, BC. Claire is British and finished university in Durham, UK this past June and has been working in London since then. We're coming to Australia on a working holiday visa in January and we are looking for a place in Melbourne for 4-8 weeks starting January 1st. We've travelled a lot of the world together already and are easy-going, tidy and up for a good time! We don't have much of a preference as to the place or number of roommates, and would be fine sharing a room or not. Much love, xoxo ***DISCLAIMER Ali did not vote for Trump and Claire did not vote for Brexit we just want to get away from the crazies who did
Hi, my name is Filiz. I'm 32 years old, from Switzerland and work as a HR Consultant. I`m a happy, uncomplicated and tidy person. My name is Luca, i am a 28 year old italian guy who just got to Australia on a Working holiday visa. I am a friendly and very clean person. I've shared an apartment in Usa with other 5 people, everyone from a different country and it was an amazing experience since i really like to know more and learn from different cultures. I am very well organised, responsable, respectful and like to keep the house clean. I love cooking (like every good italian), travelling, playing guitar, studying science and sharing experiences with friends. I got a job in Crown Resort and i am also a personal trainer
Hey, I'm Brad. 26 years old and currently looking for a flat mate to share a place in south Melbourne or port Melbourne. I currently run a plumbing business from a warehouse in south Melbourne where I've also been living for the last 2 years but want to seperate myself from work but also still be very close. I'm extremely passionate about anything health/fitness/sport related and like to travel when I can get the time off. I would like a housemate who is respectful of privacy but someone who is also abit of fun and happy to socialise as well. I would only share with someone I could see myself building a friendship with and some good memories. Clean, thoughtful and respectful are important qualities of my own and something I look for in a housemate.
We are a spanish couple looking for a new room to move into from there weeks. We are both 30, clean, tidy, respectfull and easygoing people who have arrived Melbourne to improve our english. Hi all. Currently in the process of moving on from a relationship (very amicably!) so I'm looking for a fresh start. I've recently turned 49years young. Very social. Love a laugh, a beer, great company and obviously sport. I've 3 beautiful young boys that are growing into great young men, who I have 30% of the time. I am very active, like to keep fit, work full time and generally love my life and the people I have in it. I'm searching for somebody who is also looking for a large 3brm, 2+ bathroom, whole property in the same suburbs, to possibly team-up and share. I have a budget of approx $600p.w. and hoping to find someone to pitch in approx $400 - $500 p.w. for their own bedroom and bathroom near the beach. That way we can secure a great spacious place to call home. Happy to discuss all options. Happy to accommodate children on a part time basis (a typical situation these days!) If you have any furniture to contribute, great, as I'm starting again. I'm fine with Animals provided the Agent/Landlord approves. I'm a terrible cook, but make up for this downfall by being a fastidious cleaner. I'm really easy going and just want to have a great summer cooking on the BBQ, laughing and enjoying happy times in the courtyard. If this sounds like you, then get in touch asap please. Andy.
Hello Future Roomies, My name is Hannah and I have recently just turned 21 and will be graduating from uni at the end of this year. My friend and I are looking for either two rooms in an existing house or to start a share house with some incredible people. We are moving to Melbourne in mid January from Adelaide to start a graduate position in the CBD. It will be 3 days a week and I will be looking for some hospitality work to kill some time on my days off. So somewhere close to public transport is a plus. There are many things that make me great to live with, firstly I am very easy going, very tolerant and very friendly. I am super super respectful of my current housemates and know the importance of privacy. Don't get me wrong, I love to be social and have drinks with friends (will probably outdrink you as well) but I also love nights in with Netflix. I am a sports fanatic so I love AFL season so thats a big plus for me moving. Obviously such a big move is very daunting for me so I am hoping to make the transition as smooth as possible. I am looking for roommates that will be able to show me the do's and don't's of melbs and can introduce me to some 10/10's. Also looking to not just fill a room but to be apart of a share house family to call home and to create some sick memories. Not fussed as to what gender as I currently have a huge mix of guy and girl friends. Would love to be able live with people preferably in their 20's but not too fussed. I have plenty of furniture that I am able to bring a long too, would obviously love to have an unfurnished room to be able to bring my things from home but can also provide a beautiful black leather couch and all other necessities if need be. Feel free to ask any questions :)
Two sisters who are clean, easy going, funny and open-minded. One works full time and loves a sneaky glass of wine and the other works part-time plus studies at SAE. We are looking to get a very small toy poodle but only if we can find a place thats suitable. We would love somewhere with people who are also easy going and are happy to have a chat every now and then.
I'm working full time for a renovations company and living in Elwood at the moment. The lease runs out for the place I'm in early January so looking for a room to move out then. Enjoy quiet nights in and also like going out. Social drinker. Non smoker. Likes my own space but also loves socialising. Let me know if you have something
Hey I am looking for some cool people to live with . Love cooking (and eating ) a nice glass of Vino , yoga , sunshine , good tunes !am tidy and am a kiwi ! Tidy get to bring home tasty treats from work sometimes too...
Im a financial analyst by profession just moved from Sydney and quite flexible and easy going. I love food (a bit picky on that haha). My skills are in the eating department and cooking a selected number of dishes too (which I'm really happy to share). I'm a non smoker but won't be offended if the housemates smoke. I have a quite lifestyle, but certainly love talking on any topic. I can serenade on the guitar when I'm bored, but not the loud type. So I will vouch that I won't let my guitar noise creep out through the door. Happy to comply with cleaning rosters, apartment rules and other chores.
Hey there, my names Joey and I'm here in Melbourne for the next year or so. I'm clean and take care of communal spaces well. I'm laid back and am down for any sort of adventure when I have time off. I'm really looking for a place that feels like a home for at least the next six months, so I can really explore Melbourne and decide if I'd like to stay.
I'm an engineer working in the energy efficiency field, my office is in Ringwood and I am there 8:30-6ish Mon-Fri, I do a bit of travel for work too. Also studying a GradCert in project management. I love good food and wine and I am a pretty good cook (I make a mean pulled chicken chilli). Love hitting the gym, and when I am organised will generally go 3 or so nights a week. I can range between being super #cleaneating gym nut to pizza & gym twice a week. May binge watch a bit of Netflix every now and then, and do have a playstation and 55" TV though I have only played it 3 times in the last 9 months. I am a snowboarder too so if you ski or board be prepared for sweeet snow trips next year. I do have a car and would need a car space. I am single and have a good group of close friends that keep me busy socially, they are all 27-34yo. I don't go clubbing except for the rare special occasion these days but am inclined to do restaurant/bar drinks a bit. I've lived in a 3 room place with two girls who I still call good friends today, one of them is a police officer and I am happy to pass on their details for you to get their spin on me. I'm clean, neat and I get along with almost anyone. Don't have a green thumb so really looking for a low maintenance apartment. Could maybe handle a pot plant, . . . maybe. If I was to live with someone I would expect us to get along and am happy to hang out. I really don't want to feel like my presence is an imposition. However I happily understand and respect personal space and alone time.
Hey! Me and my friend, Brad, are looking for a couple of spare rooms around Melbourne and the inner suburbs. We're both really easy going and hoping to find some like-minded housemates to enjoy the summer months in Melbourne with! We're always keen to discover new places to have a drink/feed/live-music-listen and love meeting new people. We also respect our housemates space and keep things tidy - we lived together for a couple of years at Uni (as well as in Brisbane more recently) so we understand the importance of housemate compatibility. It's impossible to sum up two people in one paragraph so just drop us a message if you want to know anymore! Alex & Brad
Hey! My name is Emily and I'm looking to move out preferably somewhere in or close to the city. I'm currently studying at RMIT university and work part-time at a bar on the weekends and sometimes during the week. I'm definitely a bit of an 'extroverted introvert', love to stay in but also enjoy others company. I've always been very clean and organised, as well as responsible, but quite easy going and generally a pretty chill person. Please message me if you have any questions, or if you are interested in offering me a room or in finding a place together :)
