Hi there, My name is Mix, a 20 years old boy. I'm a university student, major in architecture. Anyway, I come to Melbourne for taking an architecture courses during my university summer holiday! As a housemate I'm a pretty relaxed and easy going person, who likes to chill out plus I'm tidy, clean, and respectful. One of my hobbies is taking photos. I always be active (running, rugby, cycling), play piano, explore local exhibitions and enjoy a good cafe. I'm also an animal lover, especially dogs, so that would not be a problem at all :) Send me a message if you think we'd get along! Cheers,
Hello! Full time receptionist at a health club in the cbd. Personal hobbies include gym training, outdoors activities (camping, hiking, four-wheel driving, skiing, etc), cooking, all things food, craft beer and coffee! Very down to earth individual who is bordering OCD with cleanliness and takes pride in maintaining my environment. Not much of a party animal these days, although a big fan of the odd dinner party with friends :)
Hi, I'm Astrid, a 31-year old neuroscientist. I worked as a research fellow at Monash University until January and have been traveling around Southeast Asia since then. However, I will come back to Australia at the end of May and I am looking for a room in a nice flatshare near Melbourne (no location preference atm). I am currently preparing for a career move, i.e. I'm preparing applications while studying on the side. I also spend as much time as possible in the gym so you don't have to worry about me being at home all day. I'm a reliable, quiet and clean flatmate. At this point I can't tell for sure how long I will be staying (4+ weeks) so I'm looking for someone who is flexible in this regard. Looking forward to hearing from you! Cheers
*Currently looking for team up people or places with two rooms on offer* Hi, I'm Llewellyn (or Lewy for short). I'm Australian, currently sharing a place in Carlton, which will likely get sold in a couple months. Still wanting to be very close to the CBD for work. Mainly looking within the 1st ring of suburbs surrounding the CBD. I work in Audio/Visual for the events industry - most often in Docklands and do some freelance work as a Sound Recordist with projects for TV, Film or the Web. While at home, I enjoy cooking (usually while listening to music), washing dishes from said cooking, watching TV/Movie while eating the result of the cooking (ideally with others if they're around. My list of movies that I never got around to watching is significant, so I'd be a good candidate for a regular movie night. I also enjoy card games/board games/video games, so if we ever have friends/visitors over, I'm your guy for Cards Against Humanity and other entertainment. I'd say mainly looking for teamups, so we're sharing the adventure of a new place, but happy to come across a good offer from someone already situated. Ideally looking to live with 1 to 2, maybe 3 other people. Oh, and I also have a Costco Membership, so score for you guys!
- neat, tidy and responsible - love to socialise but i'm a little awakward (lol, don't hate) - full-time student and have part-time job so i'm busy most days! *LOOKING FOR A PLACE THAT'LL ACCOMODATE 1 YEAR OR MORE*
Hi there, I work full time as a Project Management consultant. I'm easy going, patient and down to earth person. I enjoy having a drink, dining out, writing/reading, watching tv/movies, playing and watching sports. I'm working on a personal initiative and passion of mine which is building a community centre for people with disabilities. A place they can call home. I'm looking for a new place I can call home. Please text or message me if you're interested. Cheers,
Hello, I'm Tara. I am 30 and I run my own business from home. Hobbies: Dancing, YouTubing, reading, traveling. I would like a safe place to stay for 10 months. I plan to move interstate in March/April 2018 to study. But I promise to pay my bills and rent until then! I am going through naturalization. Based in the inner Western suburbs, but would consider moving to Port Melbourne, South Melbourne, Glen Iris, Malvern, Maribyrnong, Ascot Vale and Kensington It needs to be close to public transport BUT with a parking spot, for my little red Ford Festiva. Prefer unfurnished as I have my own furniture. Awesome things about me: - self-sufficient - private, quiet, busy - health-conscious - drug-free, debt-free - I clean as I go PS: I share a lovely 3 level townhouse in West Footscray. My housemate is a passive-aggressive alcoholic man who is getting divorced. We have just been given 3 months to vacate. I am looking to move out/in in mid-June, July or August. If you are considering asking me to share a house with you, I think we would get along if you are: - not an alcoholic. I drink socially about once or twice a week. - busy and have real hobbies - are in a good place financially (working/not a student) - understand that I'm paying rent for privacy, peace and quiet (I'm an introvert, not an extrovert. I am not obliged to be your psych/best friend) - clean, but not OCD clean - no shouting or cursing at me; please approach me in a calm and civil manner to discuss issues. Say "Please and thank you" These rules would go for me too! I would only share with one other person, to keep things simple. If I were to share a house, the room must be: - LARGE (at least 3.5m by 3.5m), must fit double bed and desk with room to move - have large BIR - have an ensuite bathroom I can afford up to 350 per week. I am happy to pay for gas/water/electricity and Internet but NOT Foxtel or Netflix. Thanks very much; hope to speak to you soon. Tara
Hi there, I'm a 30 yr old full time professional in the corporate sector in insurance based on St.Kilda rd. I work monday to fridays 9-5pm. I have recently gone through a separation of a long term engaged relationship and am looking to move out of our apartment on Southbank asap. The furniture I will be bringing will be basically my clothes, small beauty desk, study desk, book shelves, haberdashery, and would be happy to buy a bed if need be. Looking for a room with build in robes preferably if possible, as I do have a lot of stuff as well needed for storage. I am a mature yet very sociable outgoing person. During the week I am very quiet, and on weekends, sometimes I'll go out to a bar with girlfriends, otherwise I usually prefer to stay at home over some wine and movies, or visiting friends and family.I am quite the homebody. I have lived out of home for 12 years so I have a lot of experience and social awareness of living with different kinds or personalities and people and get along with just about every type of person being very down to earth and considerate. I am very clean and am quite a good cook. I am happy to cook a few meals during the week otherwise, I am also happy to organise my own meals as well. I enjoy watching movies/tv shows, im a nerd at heart, travel, outdoor adventures, yoga, dancing, love to cook and I especially love my wine! I do smoke but outside of course and am very respectful of non smokers. I'm a great person to live with because I'm quite independent , and am also drama and high maintenance free. :)
I am Junaid Saeed, 27, from Pakistan. I am moving to Melbourne on 08 June, 2017 to start my course at RMIT University City Campus. I am no-smoker, clean and tidy. I like to socialize and I am easy going. I shall pay the rent on time. I care for others' peace and comfort, therefore I would make a good flat mate. Cheers!
Heyya, My name is Amanda and I'm (newly turned) 29 - although I often think I'm 27 because the last two years have just gone so quickly I can't even remember having a birthday - or eating cake which is the whole point of birthdays! I digress... Ummm my story? I'm a doctor, I deliver babies for a living which means I'm an Obs/Gynae. I have lots of different shifts incl nights which means I sleep all day. Just giving the heads up. I do have ear plugs and a face mask that says "Wake me up for food". Welcome to take that literally. I am a very (very!!!) neat person. Not like decorative pillows and towels, but I like a clean/tidy house. Yes like everyone here I'm the perfect balance between socially amazing (and make a great wing woman) and cued enough for some "me" time. Won't lie- I'm not a great cook even though I'm Italian. I mostly inherited the talking with the hands and basic culinary skills. Unfortunately I also inherited the love of actually eating food so it's a complex relationship. I absolutely LOVE Mexican. It warms my soul and adds inches to my thighs but I love it. I counter my love of tacos with broken exercise, lots of beach days and random adventures (ie shot zombies in virtual relality on Sunday!). I am very willing to be a gym buddy! Looking for a place until early next year where my job will likely take me on my next adventure. PM me of interested. I have furniture and can do a team meet up thing- or sell it all and come sans couch! Cheers, Amanda (Ok so I just read my post and realised that I made a reference to food in every single paragraph. To my defence I did write it after a night shift and I was hungry. I have literally done the literary equivalent of going to Coles and pulling everything off the shelf. I actually don't eat that much food and prefer chips not cake)
Hi there! I'm Steph, 26, from the Illawarra in NSW, i am relocating to Melbourne in July. Hi there, I'm originally from the beautiful sunny island of New Caledonia. I work full time in the technology startup space, which keeps me fairly busy during the week, and in my spare time love to spend time outdoors, travelling, hanging out with friends, having a glass of red whilst enjoying some live music, etc. I'm relocating from Sydney to Melbourne indefinitely for work so I'll be new in town. I'm looking for a home-like flat for the next 6 - 12 months with people who can help me discover and fall in love with Melbourne. I'm clean, respectful but also social and relaxed. If you think I might be a good fit for your home, please reach out, I'll be in Melbourne on the 29th-30th May and then from the 4th of June onwards so can come meet you/see the place then. I'm ideally looking to move in on the 1st of July (I have accommodation sorted for the first month) but can potentially move in earlier if I find the perfect home! Thanks, Audrey
NOTE: We are not a couple so looking for two separate rooms! Hey there guys! I'm Katelyn, thanks for checking out our listing! Myself and my friend Jacob are looking to team up with one lovely person or a couple in a three bedroom property, looking to move mid next month. We're super eager, laid back people who are excited about starting a new household with some like minded people. We're looking in some really beautiful places and would love to find someone to join us! Well, a bit about me! I'm 22, working full time as a chef. And I love what I do. I'm originally from down on the Surfcoast. I love the outdoors and will equally hang out like a hermit with a bucket of popcorn (caramel coated of course) and a solid 8 season Netflix marathon. I love being at home and in the kitchen or hanging in our own little sanctuary. I'm super easy going, respect others and will always lend a helping hand. I'm neat and organized and really don't like a messy space. Along with my super self I have two little munchkins that would love some new cuddles and laps to sleep on. I have two, 5 month old kittens. They're sisters and the most relaxed cats ever. They come with the utmost care by me so all they need is a scratch behind the ear and they'll melt by your feet. As for Jacob, I'll leave that introduction to him! Hey my name is Jacob. I'm a 21 year old contracted electrician but looking to get out of that industry and move into realestate. On weekdays I tend to spend my time either working, going to the gym or just kicking back and watching some tv. On weekends I usually just chill out and hang out with my housemates, go out and have a beer somewhere quiet and chill or go on an adventure. I am a non smoker, I don't own a pet and Im very considerate of other housemates space. Id also like to add that even though I am still young the party life is behind me but if there is a special occasion I will crack a beer and join in on the festivities, but I’d much rather be in the kitchen making an awesome as meal or going on an adventure and experiencing life. please feel free to contact me to find more about myself and my interests. looking forward to hearing from you, kind regards; Jacob

Hi, I'm Syd, 24 and a full-time working professional (software engineer). I currently live in an apartment in the city but am now looking to move somewhere quieter outside of the city, preferably around St Kilda. I'm a laid back guy, not a party animal but don't mind a social drink every now and then. I'm into skateboarding, snowboarding, basically anything boarding even house boarding :P I love cooking but not as much as I do eating. I'm a kiwi that has been living here for the past 3 months and loving the general vibe of Melbourne. I'm respectful of others, clean, and open-minded. So if I sound like your ideal flatmate please feel free to get in touch, be happy to answer any questions :) Cheers, Syd
