We're a young, fun-loving, easy-going and cooperative couple who have secured Permanent Residency in Australia. I have moved to Sydney and my wife will join me once I arrange accommodation. We've traveled to many other countries and love to talk about different cultures, values, and traditions. I am an Engineer by profession and have an interest in psychology, counseling, and personal development. My wife is a Make-Up artist and has worked in renowned salons. We're married for 3 years with no kids. We don't drink, smoke or have pets. We prefer studio apart, granny flats or a private room with ensuite washroom. We love traveling, reading, dining and taking part in various sports and volunteering activities.
Hi guys, I've recently relocated from the States to Sydney for my job for the next several years and am looking for a place to call home as soon as possible. I actually just landed two days ago. It could be short term or long term depending on scenarios. I'm easy going, reliable and enjoy a good laugh. I work for a consulting firm located in the CBD and at times will work long hours. When I'm not working, I'm usually out and about enjoying the city with whoever wants to come! I'm completely fine right now with temporary stays, a week, two or more. It gives me time to get settled and find somewhere short/long term. I'm usually never at home but when I am, I'd relax and hang out but am respectful to peoples personal space. I'm clean, tidy and don't mind at all on pulling my weight on whatever needs done. Thanks for reading and I hope to hear from you! Cheers, Brian
Hey I'm Tracy, I'm 27. A young lady travelling the world, and my next stop will be Sydney for a year. On a working holiday visa, I will be looking for Fun, open-minded, easy going people like me! I hope that my future flatmate will also become my new friends! I'm an airport agent and I hope to find a job in that field there, either Hotel, Airport or Bar if its the only option. I'm kinda of a night bird, but no worries I will respect your sleep, cause I hate when mine is disturb. I hate to cook, I love to fix or build stuff. I strongly dislike disorder, I always try my best to keep everything clean (apart from my closet) I don't mind sharing, but not my room! I need my personal space, that is my only rule. Wanna know more, well, let's see if we can live together! Peace!
Hello! James and I are super relaxed, chilled and easy to get along with. We have landed from over the pond a few weeks ago and are looking for a nice, friendly and relaxed room to rent from start or mid of December until start/mid/end of Jan - very flexible! We then plan to look for a more concrete base so would be willing to negotiate staying longer if it worked for all. We are here for the year to carry on our past professions of engineering (James) and charity fundraising (me). James is very sporty and loves sailing, cycling and being outside and I am attempt to be a runner and like being out on the water too. We are looking to find a nice place near the sea/harbour or close to town with a good transport link. We are free to come and meet/view rooms any time week commencing 28 November.
Hi, I am Andrew, a business development/account manager who has just moved into a different industry. The new job is CBD based so i am looking to move closer to the city - currently I am based in the hills district which means I am spending more commuting than I'd like. I used to work in FMCG so have a pretty good knowledge of bars and restaurants in Sydney. I also like music, movies, conversation, .......the usual good stuff. If you think we'd be a good fit and like to know more drop me a line. Ideally I'd like to have something locked in by the end of 2016 and preferably sooner.
Hi, I'm looking for a single room to rent for at least 2 months staying. I'm a 25-year-old male who studying in CBD and working part-time near the CBD. I'm a Hongkonger by passport but surely a citizen of the world in outlook, I grew up within mixed background but I mostly speak Cantonese with my family. I've so many interests but especially love doing movies, manga, pool, badminton, Lol. Passionate about global politics and technology, so I don't mind to talk about that if you're keen. I'm a very tidy and clean guy, please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any room available not too far from the CBD and keen to know more about me. ; )
Hi I'm Robbie. I'm 32. I'm a friendly, down-to-earth, easy going, super fun-loving guy with a very infectious laugh who likes to keep active, stay fit and I'm incredibly sociable. I'm still fairly new to Sydney as I only moved here from Adelaide in August this year to kick-start my career as an Architect. Up till now I've been renting a studio on my own in St. Leonards - but I'm now looking for a housemate/s to move out into either an existing place with or to team-up and find a new place to move into. Even though I'm a busy guy and I work pretty hard, I also know how to have a good time and I like to surround myself with like minded people. I like to spending a lot of time with friends and family, entertaining & dining out, checking out new bars, cafes and resteraunts, watching movies, music, cycling, the beach, swimming and formula one. If you think we would be good housemates shoot me a message or feel free to give me a call.
I'm Stanley, 31 year old professional working in the city. Outside of work; I'm fit and active, I enjoy a great coffee, food and wine. I'm a social person but I also enjoy my quiet downtime. I'm looking for place to share with people that are clean/tidy, know how to enjoy life but also respectful of others and I would of course offer the same in return. I don't have a set moving date nor set length of stay at this stage, however would ideally be moving prior to holiday break and minimum 3 months with the view to extend long-term if everything works out and everyone is in agreement. Look forward to hearing from you. Cheers
Hi there. I'm a positive, easy going, considerate, clean and polite sort of person. I work in the city in corporate (banking), and tend to try to go to a gym after work to burn off all the chocolate I eat during the day! I also like runs and walks outside, beach time, brunches and spending time with my girlfriends (who all live in the Eastern Suburbs). Enjoy a wine on the weekend and wish I had more time to cook but don't seem to get around to it. Not really looking for a party animal who is going to stay up late until all hours with friends over but obviously everything in moderation is ok :) Flexible move date, currently living in Lavender Bay.
I am in Sydney working on my PhD project until the February, 16th and am looking for a private room. My days are quite busy, leaving early and coming back about dinner time. I like to cook (usually cook my food) and to have (and share) a glass of wine during the weekends. If you think that I 'am a good match, please drop me a message.
Hi Guys! We are easy going and relaxed students from Germany. The both of us are staying in Sydney for a fulltime 9-5 internship. Andy is working in the area of Surry Hills and me near Hyde Park. We enjoy a sporty and healthy lifestyle, have a great sense of humour and like to enjoy some drinks and BBQ in a relaxed atmosphere with our new flatties. In addition, we are very reliable and tidy flatmates. Furthermore, we have several years of flatshare experience and enjoyed it! By the way, we are not one of the newly in love couples, so we don't always want to be on our own - we love to socialize. We are searching for a place up to the end of April (but we would also consider a shorter stay). We look forward to meeting you guys soon! Don't hesitate to drop us a message :) Cheers Kathy&Andy
I am respectful and self-sufficient. I've lived in share houses most of my adult life and like the coexistence. While I am very independent, I like to have good relationships with my housemates - commentating while watching trash TV is so much better with company! I am a business analyst with a little media business on the side. I like to stay fit and go to the beach as much as possible. I also enjoy long brunches on the weekend.
Hey people, I'm a 28 year old gay/male hairdresser born and raised in Sydney. I'm looking for a room in a cool share house on the eastern suburbs. I work a lot but when home love to have a glass of wine and a chat but also like my downtime. I'm very social so am out quite a bit. I can't cook to save my life but am an amazing cleaner 😜
Hi my name is Jenny, 30, Irish, looking to meet new people and hoping to find that home from home, I'd like a home that is looked after and clean, with people that are easy going and sociable. I like to keep fit and I am full time employed, like company but also like my own space, I'm clean, tidy, easy going and not too shabby in the kitchen. I am a professional, single woman seeking a place to call home in Sydney, close to the CBD. I will be relocating to town from Melbourne in mid December. As an individual I am quiet and respectable, keen to find a peaceful and conveniently-located room or studio to rent.
I'm a web developer living in Newcastle with my husband and two beautiful Brittany dogs. I have recently accepted a job offer in Sydney CBD as a web dev and am looking for a place to stay mainly during week days. However, it would be great if your place is pet friendly so my dogs can come visit occasionally. I was originally from China but have been around the world, one year in Sweden, five years in New Zealand and have finally settled down in beautiful Australia two years ago. I love exploring the nature with my beloved dogs and of course with my hubby who is a mining engineer. I eat healthy food and enjoy gardening, DIY projects and programming. Love a beer or a glass of wine occasionally after work but not loud party kind of person. If you're looking for a mature, responsible and fun flatmate who's only there half of the time then we should have a chat.
Hi, I am Abeer. I am currently pursuing an MBA program from Macquarie university, and it has been a year, since I moved to Sydney. I like the Newtown and the nearby suburbs, where I am looking to settle down for at least next 6 months.
My name is Broderek and I just moved from the US. I will be working in the CBD so I'm looking for an easy commute or close to a train station. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle is important to me. While I enjoy meeting new people and having fun I really just enjoy kicking back and relaxing.
Hi All, I currently live in Kirribilli and looking for a room around that area. I am in my mid 30's female, working in the city as a financial accountant. I am clean & tidy, easy going professional. Please text or email me shall you have more questions. Have a great day ! Regards, Annette.
I'm a media advisor working in the CBD, currently commuting from the Blue Mountains. Looking to be closer to work, and hopefully start studying my Master's Degree. When I'm not working or studying, I enjoy yoga, Pilates and running. I'm quiet and pretty easy going and am always up for a chat over a glass of wine. I also make an excellent cup of tea.
Hi there! I'm 24-years-old, from America, and will be beginning grad school as a full-time student in February. I'll have a pretty heavy study load and will also be working part-time, so I'll probably be keeping to myself quite a bit during the week. However, I am a very social person, so it would be great to make friends with my flat mates and be able to occasionally cook or share a glass of wine together on week nights. On the weekends, I like to go out to the beaches and socialise with friends. All in all, I'm a pretty laid back person and get along with almost everyone. I'm also extremely tidy so you'll never have to worry about me leaving a mess around the house. If you think I would be a good fit for an open room in your house/flat, please do not hesitate to message me! Megan
We are a nice couple, intending to work full time and my husband will work and study. We are calm in our 30´s, don´t want to party but we are very friendly.
I am a 30 year old young professional who just moved to Sydney from California. I'm looking for a centrally located flat share. I am a clean and considerate roommate who loves a balance of being social and respecting a roommate's personal life and space. I love to drink wine, cook and stay in for a movie night, but am just as happy to go out dinner or grab a drink. I'm open to living with a pet.
Hi there, I'm a friendly easy going guy and I work full time. Looking a for a nice place to live with nice people. I'm clean and respectful of others and enjoy being social whilst respecting others privacy. Look forward to talking with you. Michael
Hey! Looking for a housemate /room/team up. Clichè check: tidy, clean, relaxed and friendly. Full time Mon-Fri professional, like my space but enjoy sharing a meal or a drink now and then, as we would be sharing a home. Out and about for the most part but I do like the occasional weekend in. Considerate of personal space. No mad parties but I'll come to yours. Like/love: design, architecture, dance, whisky, martinis, tennis... & more. I don't usually cook, I 'assemble' or grill but love cooking a nice meal every now and then to share. Looking forward to hearing from you!
I've recently moved here from London. I work in an Advertising Agency and have pretty standard working hours. I like to keep active and I'm a pretty good cook. I like to be sociable but also enjoy my own company too.
Hi! So I'm 24 y/o, working for the Australian Red Cross full time, Irish. I'm easy to live with, looking to share with people who work similar 9-5 hours who like socialising/ having fun at the weekends!
Hi there, I'm 27 and working full-time in television. I spend way too much time at work so am busy through the week, but will always make time for a housemate outing / winetime at home. I love to get outdoors and explore, but also enjoy a good Netflix binge. I'm super chilled but do like to keep a clean, beautiful house. My hobbies include thinking about doing cool things like learning to surf and getting my scuba license, which I'm 100% sure I'll possibly do one day maybe. Would love to hear from any like-minded people who are looking to add to their fam. Bonus points if you have an animal (Double extra bonus points if it's a fluffy animal). Cheers! Katie
I'm a champ: tidy as hell, do my own dishes, can handle a barbecue, have a netflix acct (willing to share), have foxtel go (willing to share), generally have beers in the fridge (sometimes willing to share). Work full time in banking in the city. Gym a couple of times a week. I'd like for us to be able to have a meal or two together during the week and if it's raining I'm the kinda guy who will pull your washing in..
Friendly, easy going girl from England on a working holiday visa, currently looking for full time work in Sydney (but have sufficient funds to support myself in the meantime)! Have been in hostels since I arrived 3 months ago so looking for somewhere clean and calm to call 'home'. I enjoy nights in with a takeaway or nights out with some wine and good music! Love to be outdoors in the sunshine and am very independent, I also like cooking and cleaning!
I am Ashish. Currently trying to juggle a job and an MBA. Searching for a place to call home. I could make your rent/utilities cheaper, partake in groceries acquisition, and successfully execute household chores. I am pretty easy going with most things. Love football, stand up comedy, beer & pizza, not necessarily in that order. While I am down for chit-chat almost any time, I also respect boundaries. Looking for tidy and responsible people who would appreciate untimely, yet wholeheartedly high fives. If you think you might enjoy having a healthy dose of energy around then do give me a shout. Please and thanks! :)
I work as a Security Officer with the ACES Group, aside from my typically late work hours I keep to myself. Hobbies include martial arts (Uechiryu and a little MuayThai), TTRPGs and model painting, and gaming. I like to think I'm rather easy going when not on shift, and have no problems with smokers and pets, though I am mildly allergic to cats.
I'm friendly & like to hang out around the house. I'm also respectful of personal space and maintaining a clean living environment. I enjoy a few beers on the weekend & getting out of the house for a bite to eat or a gig.
Hey! I'm Julia and I'm a relatively recent Sydney-side convert from New Zealand. I've been here just under a year now and looking to find my first place to call home - I work full time in Research and Strategy at a Marketing agency based in Ultimo. I'm a down to earth character, I love being outdoors and active as much as I do having down time with good food and good company after a long day at work. I like making a home a place you look forward to going too. Hopefully I can get to see your place sometime soon!
(Only with private bathroom)I am from Europe and work for a global company. Just moved here from Bangkok. I lived in Europe (Germany, Uk, Spain, etc..), USA, middle East and now in Australia. Hello, my name is Coen. Ive recently graduated from the University of Newcastle as a undergraduate Information Technology student. Im looking at moving to Sydney (specifically North Sydney CBD or within 30 minute train ride) to pursue a graduate IT position that i secured earlier this year starting in February 2016. Ive lived in Newcastle all my life and am very excited to start my career in Sydney where i will hopefully meet new friends and encounter new opportunities. For fun I am fairly outgoing person who loves to go out occasionally with friends for drinks but also just as happy just to kick it at home playing computer games to pass time. I love animals especially doggos and would love to be able to bring my labrador with me on occasions if possible. Im more than happy to stay with students who are still studying or other individuals working full time. Im a very clean and tidy person who loves to chill out and socialise over a cold beer with close friends. I would also love it if occasionally my girlfriend would be able to stay a night or two over the weekend as she is still currently studying in Newcastle for the next 6 months Im glad to meet up in person or play a few games to get to know one another. If youre looking for a roommate or looking to team up to rent a place nearby, please don't hesitate to contact me for more information :)
Hi everyone! I am Spanish lawyer who will be working for the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Sydney. I am outgoing and I like to chat/socialise but I am also easygoing and know when to respect others personal time and space. I am also very active and visit the gym almost everyday after work so you would rarely see me at home. As a Spaniard, originally from Madrid, I enjoy football (I am a supporter of Real Madrid) and surf (even though I am a beginner). I also love travelling around and have visited more than 60 countries. You can count on me to keep the place clear, tidy and peaceful, even though I enjoy hanging out and would join any plan you propose! Looking forward to make new friends! Alvaro
Hi there! I work full time in a consulting firm in the city. I'm originally from Orange but I've studied and lived in Sydney previously for my undergrad and high-school. I will be studying during semester time so I'll be pretty flat-out. I enjoy going to the gym, binging on Netflix and going out with friends. Summer will see me at the beach and outside as often as is possible and winter will see me curled up in a blanket burrito watching movies. I am looking for my own room (no roomshare arrangements) preferably large enough for a queen bed and storage (built-in wardrobe would be even better).
Moving back to Australia after living in Frqnce and Italy for the last few years riding my bike in most city's
Hello, my name is Jasper Koning and I am a 21-year old student studying Software Engineering at Windesheim University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands. I am going to Australia for 6 months because of an internship. I will be doing the internship at Excite Holidays. Therefore I am looking for a place to stay, preferably with my friend Jacob. He's a 20-year old studying the same as me. He will be doing his internship over at CrowdComms in Brookvale. Through the week we will be working full-time and only be home in the evenings and the weekends. We are two single, friendly guys looking to have a great time in Sydney that we may never forget, so we will be going out on adventures frequently.
Active professional, working at PwC in Sydney. Study law part time, and spend rest of my time training, catching up with friends & family. Looking for a place to be able to relax and share some quality banter. If you think I might be a good fit, give me a call. Cheers! Jessie
I've recently moved to Australia from the UK on a 417 working visa after travelling Central and South America. I am very active, I enjoy sport and fitness, as well as food, books and television. I'm pretty easy going, love going out for a drink and would love to explore the city a bit more. I'm clean and respectful and would love to find a little place to hang my hat for a few weeks to get settled in Australia.
Hey im Kat, ive just moved over from the UK with work. I love traveling, eating out, socialising and am attempting(!) to get good at surfing. Im v friendly and easy going, i like going out and being busy and would love housemates who are happy to grab a beer or chill with a movie after work. Im clean and tidy but not a neat freak. :)
Hi, I am looking for the apartment for myself. I am a neat, organized person who likes to go out and meet new people. I work hospitality so I am around people all the time but I also need my space to relax.
Hi! I'm Olivia, full time retail employee, part-time musician, part-time gamer all round swell gal. I play the piano and have an upright and a pretty killer synth that I'd like to bring with me so hopefully you enjoy music! I spend most of my spare time writing and practicing music, but when I'm not doing that I'm out exploring the city or playing video games/doing nerd stuff. I'm pretty neat but not neurotic about it as life can get hectic and it's not always about cleaning, but I'm extremely reliable and easy going and I'm definitely not shy when it comes to speaking my mind (respectfully). I'm originally from Brisbane, but I've been in Sydney for near on 3 years and so far love it here. I have a rabbit that helps with my anxiety, named Mercutio. He's very quiet, smell and mess free and doesn't chew! I'm not much of a party animal but I do enjoy a GnT and a good ol socialise. There's nothing worse than awkward house vibes and I'm definitely not down for that. Hopefully I sound like your kind of roomie!
Hey, I am Ukrainian but I have been living in Berlin for most of my life. I alreaday lived in Sydney for about a year in 2015 and totally fell in love with it. Most of the time I'll be at uni or working, but I really enjoy to have a drink and a chat at the end of a day and hang out with my friends and flatmates and do some activities on the weekends. I'm very sociable, always out and about and don't like to stay in all day. Having said that I have absolutely respect for the personal space of others! I never leave my stuff lying around and I'm super tidy, so I would really appreciate to live in an environment where everyone respects each other and works together :) Though I enjoy going out I don't like to bring the party home! I don't have any pets but I'm pet-friendly. My course starts on the 9th of January so I will be arriving in Sydney just after New Years and will be ready to meet up for viewings :)
Hard working, sociable, enjoy relaxing, gym, coffee, food & a few drinks! I start a new job in Sydney (moving from UK) and suppose that will be my focus at first! Have friends in Sydney and Melbourne but also looking forward to meeting new people... And some sunshine of course
I've recently moved to Sydney to take up a full-time position at the university of Sydney. I travel a lot for work, and enjoy cooking, gardening, playing music and the outdoors. I'm easy going, independent and left orientated. I have a 12 year old well behaved kelpie.
