I am a full-time student studying master of architecture design currently in RMIT as well as having my part-time job. I have been in Melourne for 2 years. I keep tidy and clean in my space as well as cleaning public area sometimes. I don't smoke and don't like drag. I enjoy having a night in with movies and mates but also enjoy checking out restaurants and bars. I am into music, painting, reading, movies, swimming, photography and biking, recently i am making some interesting graphic by programming. When i am free, i like hanging out to discover new restaurants, new places and fitness or staying at home for cooking or cleaning. Meanwhile, I love chatting with people, for sharing our stories and exchange our opinion. I am a gay, so definitly LGBTI+ friendly. I like to live in a clean and tidy home and am looking for people who agree. I am considerable and kind and would like to make new friends and share life and happy time with my potential lovely roommates. I also would love to share my food and hang out with roommates as well as respect your privacy and keep independence for myself. I took an apartment by myself and manage it, and I lived with more than 6 people in 2 years. Therefore, I think I really know how to get along with my new roommates. Ideally, I hope the room is furnished and prefer to live with males in house or town house which is less than 5 people, and fast speed internet, if there is a garden or yard, it would be perfect. Nor sharing room. I can move in February, but i can also move in Jan if the room is really what I am looking for.

I am a software developer by profession and Rupal is a French Language Trainer. We are both looking for jobs in Australia currently. We are vegetarians, non-smokers and have no children. We are happy go lucky couple who believe in 'Live and let live'. Looking forward to finding good flatmates :)

I'm currently working full time in the eastern suburbs and would like find a nice share house located somewhere between the city and my work. I'm responsible, open-minded and an easy-going guy. I'm into music and all kinds of arts in general. Hello! I'm Izzy, 24 year old architectural graduate originally from the UK but currently in New Zealand. Currently finishing my Masters in Architecture after which I will start working full time. Looking for a place for myself only. I enjoy working throughout the week but never one to turn down an excuse to explore Melbourne's cafe's and bars! I can't wait to move to the city, always been a massive fan and excited to settle in soon. I'm clean, tidy and always reliable with rent! I've always enjoyed living with other people, I find it a wonderful way to make friends and make the most out of any living situation. Although I like to work hard I also believe in finding a balance in lifestyle, so I enjoy relaxing as well as socialising in the home environment. I love any activity involving the sun, shops, eating, books and cocktails...
Hi! We're a couple of musicians (though not the loud kind!) looking to team up with some friendly, creative housemates. We've been together 5 years and living together for 4, both on our own and in sharehouses. Paloma is a fantastic cook and loves baking so this arrangement will get you cookies, guaranteed ;) She is beginning her Masters of Primary Education at Melbourne University this year. Joe is a piano teacher, composer and bandleader. Both of us are into board games, horror movies, and we're more into dinner parties than party parties. Most importantly we're stable, reliable, and easy to get along with. Plus did we mention the cookies? We're looking for a easygoing, friendly and respectful housemate or housemates who would enjoy sharing the odd bottle of wine at the end of a long week. We come with furnishings including fridge, couch, TV, dining table etc for common use. We're also dog lovers! Looking for a house/flat near PT to movie into near the end of February. Shoot us a message if you think we'd be a good fit together.
Hi my name is Tamika! I currently live with my partner Aaron and friend Jacob. We moved here from NSW and after a falling out with friends we are now homeless but spending our money on hotels each night. We are loyal, polite people from a country town back home and are just in desperate need of short term possibly long term stay to get our feet on the ground and until we find our own place. We are tidy people always up for a chat. If anyone can help that would be absolutely fantastic!! Regards, Tamika, Aaron and Jacob.
Hi! My name is Mia, I'm 24 years old, looking to move out of home for the first time. I am tidy, friendly and respectful. I don't party hard, but I am sociable and always happy for a chat or a glass of wine. I'm studying psychology and a cert IV in Mental Health, I volunteer at a telephone crisis line for women, and I work 4-5 shifts a week at a part-time hospitality job. When I'm not working I love to write, read, watch movies, visit museums/art galleries, and hiking/going to the beach. I also love to travel, if only I had more money for it! :'( If you are LGBT+ friendly, smoke-free, and looking for a female housemate in the areas of Hawthorn, Toorak, South Yarra, Richmond etc., then I would love to get to know you!
I'm a very independent, easy going and active 25 year old. I work full time across two roles as a registered nurse and flight attendant (these days my roster between the two jobs is pretty standard now to 'normal-ish hours' 6:30am-2pm Monday to Friday - meaning I'm home most evenings with the exception of sometimes being interstate one or two nights a week) . When I'm not working I'm often at the gym, pilates or doing something active outdoors, out with friends, watching live music or happy to just kick back for a quiet night at home with a wine in hand and Netflix :-) I am looking for a private room in an established sharehouse with likeminded and easy going individuals (either gender) who are not party animals but equally enjoy a bit of banter and a laugh around the house and would be happy to enjoy a wine, dinner together once in a while.
My name is Melanie, I'm a french girl. I arrived in Australia it 6 months ago. I live actually with my boyfriend in an apartment in Collingwood. Actually, I'm student in an English School in Melbourne and my boyfriend is chief in an Italian restaurant at full time. We need to change and would like to live more close to the beach that's for why St Kilda appear perfect for us. We are looking for a nice bedroom in a nice place with a right atmosphere.
I am a soon-to-be 19 year old who is in second year for psychology and neuroscience at Swinburne Uni. I'm currently living at home in Geelong and am looking to move to Melbourne to make the journey to uni much easier. I am very tidy, financially reliable and am quite independent. I'm happy to cook my own meals, do washing and cleaning, and I get along with animals very well! I am really respectful of others' privacy and am always happy to do my own thing in my room, but also wouldn't mind the occasional meal or drinks together too. My hobbies include playing music, games, keeping fit and binge watching tv series on Netflix. I enjoy going out with friends, but I'm not looking for a party house. My own room is a must, and I would prefer if it could fit a double bed and a desk comfortably. I don't mind sharing with people in their late 20's, and if it's just a two bedroom place I would prefer to share with another girl. Anywhere in the CBD or surrounding suburbs would be excellent - I really like areas like Brunswick and South Yarra. My budget sits around $200, with $250 being the max per week including bills. If I sound like a suitable house mate please do get in contact with me, I'm happy to answer any questions you may have! Thanks a bunch, Ella :)
I'm a 26 year old marketing executive from Brisbane. I am in the final stages of a recruitment process for a role down in Melbourne and am looking to make the move around mid-end of Feb 2017. Ideally, I would like to share a nice place with another professional with the similar interests. I'm clean, respectful, enjoy keeping fit and don't mind sharing a glass of red over a housemate dinner (although I do most of my eating at work or out since I'm a terrible cook).
Hi, I'm a 24 y/o Dutch girl and looking for a nice place to live for the next 2-3 months. I'm generally pretty easy to live with: tidy, sociable and easy going. I'm looking for a shared accommodation with other people in their mid/end 20s. Although I'm pretty busy during the week, I like having drinks on the weekends. :)
Hey all, 2017 is the big move to Melbourne! Bit about me, I'm a socialable, easy-going, conscious individual, love to keep fit as well as a few casual drinks with mates, play tennis and enjoy most sports. Got my ambitions set on Nutritional Education and the environment so pretty passionate about themes like integrative health, detox & diet protocols – as to reinforce lifestyle strategies and promote health literacy to the wider Australian community. Anyways, I'm new to Melbourne living and would like to live with some flexible and easy-going guys or girls that share similar values - keep the home safe and like family. If you wanna live with a lad who gets right into his juicing then get in touch. More about me: https://www.healthpromotion.org.au/nt-committee I'm a Darwin fella finishing my final two units in my Health Promotion degree and looking to get situated in or around the Melbourne area. I will be available to suss out accommodation from Tuesday 17th to 27th January. Hoping to move-in from February 3rd. Hope to meet with some great minds while I'm here, Cheers! 😊
I am quite chilled out, love cooking, exploring the area and general adventures. I am occasionally up for a wine or a super competitive game of scrabble. I'm interested in living with people who have similar interests and are clean, tidy and sociable!
My name is Sari I am 41 years young! I am a chef manager & work Monday to Friday. I am considerate of other people & very tidy. I like to keep busy on the weekends & catch up with friends. I am easy going & It would be nice to live with someone who would like to share a bottle of wine now & then & have a laugh.
Hi! :) My name is Neel! I'm a kiwi and have been living in Melbourne for over 7 years now - I love this city! I'm in my mid 30's and work full time in the city for an energy company generally from 9 - 5. I'm pretty low key week nights whether I'm at the gym or catching up with friends for dinner or watching a new show on Netflix. I like to keep fit and active and am a real foodie so I'm out and about most weekends trying all the amazing restaurants in Melbourne. I have lived in shared houses for over 10 years now so I'm very clean and considerate of others and always clean up after myself and I'm always up for a chat and sharing a meal/glass of wine :)
Hi! i'm Winston, 29yo male, teach dance in the evening and training/studying dance in the daytime in Prahran. I am respectful and good with house chores. Love nature and will often go out there crusiing on motorcycle during my spare time and enjoying this awesome weather!
Hi all. I'm a 27 year old French teacher from Canada living in Melbourne since August. I also lived here in 2013. I supply teach for an agency in the city but will also probably look for a second job so I'll be busy. I go to the gym, spend a few nights out at trivia or dinner with friends, like to be outside, do brunch or day trips on weekends. I value a good nights sleep so I'm not a party animal. I like socialiZing with roommates but I won't be a creepy leech either. Looking for a furnished room near public transport since I'm not cool enough to have a car right now (driving on the left would mess me up anyway haha). Pretty happy, easygoing girl seeking friendly roommates I can enjoy a couple months with. Any questions, ask.
hello, im David, 27, a chilean dentist, who came to Australia with a work and holiday visa, im a friendly, nice and clean guy, and i want share great moments with a friendly people, im looking for a rent for 1 month.
Hi there! I'm looking to relocate to Melbourne from regional NSW, where I'm currently working to save up for the move- after which I will be spending a gap year or two to develop a folio and establish myself in the area comfortably. I'd love to move in with friendly, open-minded people- and I am very open to spending time with flatmates, whether at home or going out to places (especially movies and music events!) I'm quite laid-back and don't mind if you just want to do your own thing, not everyone is permanently social and needs alone time- which i'm *pretty* fond of myself. My personal interests include (brace yourself) anime, comics, games, writing and fiction in general- but I won't be permanently immersed in those things, and they're not my only hobbies. I also love going out to explore and socialize- movies, music and generally going out for the day/night are always a go-to for me! (I'd prefer a somewhat lengthy stay so I can feel established and not have to rearrange myself all the time- but my exact move date and preffered suburbs are all just close estimates!) I look forward to hearing from you! :)
Hello :) I'm Chris, 25, originally from Canterbury, UK, but have lived in Adelaide for the past 4 and a half years. I am someone who is house proud and respectful. I enjoy movie/games nights, dinners, drinks and chats about anything and everything. I do however also enjoy some time to myself. I will be working full-time, trying to explore Melbourne as much as possible, as well as attempting to keep fit (we will see how that goes!!). I am an optimistic individual who loves to smile, have adventures and experience as much as possible. I love coffee, wine and trying new foods, whether that is at home or out and about. If you have any questions, or would like to get to know me a bit more, just give me a message.
Hey there! I'm urgently looking for a new place to live with cheap-ish rent by the end of February at the lastest!! I'm a pretty easy going gal to live with. I would prefer my own room, Im usually busy with a lot going on but i love to just chill out at the end of the day, i'm also a clean & tidy person. I'm trying to save up so i have 3 jobs, I'm a nanny, i work in a bar and i also work as a model. Im going back toto uni this year to study interior design at RMIT! I go to gym sometimes, so i'm trying to be healthy, but deep down I'm a guilty sweet tooth and chocolate addict. I've lived in Melbourne for almost a year now, i'm originally from Queensland but i love it here in Melbourne and I'm here to stay.
I have a passion for design, martial arts and video games. More importantly, I'm fine with chores and will maintain the cleanliness of my accommodation. I'm an open-minded young lad from Malaysia that does artsy stuff and plays video games for fun.
I'm looking for a home, not a party house even though it's just for 6 weeks. I am friendly, neat and very easy going. Always up for a chat or a meal together!
I am 29 kiwi, who has been living in Melbourne for nearly 5 years. I am tidy and friendly and looking for a new home. I lead a pretty quiet life during the week, but happy to have a chat and a wine/dinner with housemates. On the weekend I keep busy - catching up with friends, trying new restaurants and chilling out. I love pets, so if you have one that is a bonus. I am a low maintenance housemate with a clean rental history.
I'm a chemical engineer from Malaysia, on the lookout for a home in the Melbourne area for myself (1 person) to stay in and work from for at least 3 months from Feb 12, up until October 2017 (given the right rental terms). I recently began my own consultancy to serve clients in Singapore, Malaysia and Japan; and planning to explore and expand my business network in Australia. At home, I'm a husband to another engineer who often works outstation and father of a young boy: I am butler, housekeeper, cook and nanny all rolled into one. Nothing makes me happier than good company - a long good read on a rainy day, a mind-bending film-athon on a lazy weekend or long chats about growing up over tea and biscuits late in the evening. I've plenty of experience sharing living space: a dormitory of 20 attending boarding school in my teens, a shared house of 4 during my A-Levels, a shared house of 6 attending university and later a shared house of 5 when I started my first job. If you're looking for a flatmate to be a sounding board, experiment new ideas (especially cooking) or to lend a hand when you need to, I will not disappoint.
Hi I am a 25 year-old professional soon to be working in Melbourne. I have been renting with friends and others for the last 5 years and have had a great experience every time. I am a Law/Commerce graduate currently working full-time in Brisbane. I am moving to Melbourne through an internal transfer with my company. I start work on the 30th of Jan, 2017, so hoping to be settled in a new place in Melbourne by then. I am a relaxed individual who enjoys being social but also appreciates peace and quiet as I often work long hours with my job. Love a glass of wine, the occasional netflix show, bars and cafes. I also love to stay active and eat healthy. I prefer a clean household, where all housemates are willing to equally share all cleaning duties. I am looking for a like-minded individual to share a house with. Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions :)
My name is Pungky. I enroll in Master Degree at University of Melbourne. I am 28 yo male from Jakarta, Indonesia and looking for a shared house rather than a studio flat because I like to meet new people and can get along quite well. I am considerate and pretty neat person who enjoy any kind of outdoor activity during my free time. Looking forward to meet a good house/flat mates.
I am 21 and have recently moved to Melbourne, I'm looking to move out of where I am living now. I currently work in traffic control and at a bar. I'm friendly and clean, like to socialise and make friends but also relax and binge watch tv series.
Hello! I'm looking for a base in Melbourne as spend part of my time 1.5 hours out of the city. I work for myself - teaching yoga and am building another new tech based business, plus doing some part time studies. I have a really good renting track record and it's because my time is divided that I'm keen to share in the city rather than manage another house independently. I keep a healthy lifestyle and home is usually a quiet space for me - although I do love music... I'd do well living with like minded people with similar values and routines - healthy, conscientious folk. I'm very easy around the house and happy to keep a house flowing well, clean and tidy! I've ticked "pets" because I have a rescue dog who currently spends most of her time where I am down the coast. I'd like a place though that there'd be potential to bring her to town if I needed to. I don't expect a house where she would live f/t. Happy to answer any other qus!
East going, clean and tidy, respectful housemate. Love being active and keeping fit and try to do something most days. On the weekends you'll find me out and about, whether its down the beach, riding along the bay, brunch with friends or checking out one of the many random events going on in Melbourne and beyond. Looking for somewhere in Windsor/St Kilda
Hailing here from other country makes me interest in knowing the people and watching some places here. I am clean, tidy person. Non smoker. Though would have a few beers on weekend. I don't have any friends so would like to meet new people and a great cook. Would like to cook for all of us on the weekends and have few beers. Though i respect private space, just a fun converstations would be nice and a clear view on cleaning and keeping the house tidy is important. I have no problem with smoking though i am non smoker, lgbt friendly. waiting to meet some awesome people.
I am 29, so not into crazy partying, but I do like socialising. During the week, it's just work (9-5 in marketing/comms), yoga and low key dinners etc. At the weekend, I do like to go out to bars and meet up with friends. I am not one for staying at home and I am do like to be busy for the most part. I also love travelling and going away for weekends (who doesn't?!). I have recently arrived to Melbourne from England (but I'm an aus citizen so here permanently) but I've been living in the Netherlands for the past four years. I am a sociable person and I'm easy to get along with. I am relaxed and respectful of others' privacy. However, I'm happy to have a chat and share a glass of wine with future housemate(s). Move in date is negotiable as I do have a place until the 12th Feb. I smoke socially when out, so would never smoke in the house and I don't smoke during the week. I've done a lot of houseshares, so I've got a good understanding of how they work. I will do my share of chores, cleaning, recycling, etc and pay bills and rent on time, of course.
I am a 22 year old male, and I'm hoping to move to Melbourne from Tasmania. I desperately need a change of scenery. I will be looking for work, but hopefully I can transfer with my current job in Tasmania. I love music, movies and relaxing with friends. I'm great at keeping tidy, always well mannered and respectful, and easy going. I live for coffee (I think coffee keeps me alive) and love dogs.
Chilled and respectful type of guy. From Darwin originally, studied Physiotherapy in Adelaide and moved to Melbourne to pursue a career in dentistry. Currently working full time. Have a partner who I will spend a lot of time with at their place. Like to keep fit and healthy. Clean and fun and looking for others who are easy to live with and not too uptight :)

I'm a Landscaper from Geelong who has recently got a new job with a Melbourne company, looking for somewhere to live for 6-12months, potentially more until I find my feet. I'm a clean freak, neat and tidy, can keep to myself and enjoy my own time, but more than happy to socialise together also. Enjoy most sports, and love to talk about it, I play Aussie Rules, enjoyed the gym and I don't mind pets at all :)
Hi guys :) Well as you can see my name is Beau Sophie, I'm 22 years old and I'm Swiss/Belgian. Im here in Melbourne since November and I'm visiting a School for 2 months until March. Hi, I am from NSW and will be studying. I am outdoors alot and go out whenever I can so I am good with space, I have no furniture or pets so basically I am easy come and easy go. My budget is 250 per week, preferably including bills, I will pay extra for internet if available.
Hi I'm Sienna, I'm 19 and ready, I think, to give uni a go. I just got back from a gap year spent wwoofing over seas mostly in Eastern Europe and Israel. I love the idea of organic farming, permaculture, biodynamics etc. I'm especially intrigued by the chemistry of it all so I'm hoping science at Monash will be a good continuation of what I learnt last year. I'm looking for a place preferably on the south side so that getting to uni isn't such a schlep. I'm a tidy person and always clean up after myself, I like to be surrounded by plants, Michael Leunig poetry and creative little clay or wax sculptures, (usually homemade). I'd love the occasional boogie in the kitchen and a good convo over a cuppa or a glass of rouge. Not to mention a good old movie night or Sunday arvo David Attenborough doco. At the same time I would respect others' space and privacy and will of course need my own at times as I am quite studious and like my time alone. This year I would like to take up pottery, re take up the cello and gymnastics and perhaps try to learn some Hebrew. (Biting off a bit more than I can chew perhaps but I'll dream on!) So if anyone would like to join me in those endeavours I would be very happy. So let me know if you think I would fit in well to your house or maybe if you want to team up and start something new. Thanks!
Hey potential flatmate(s) :) Im looking for a furnished room asap! Im fairly new to Melbourne. Im easy going, always up for a laugh and sociable but also like some me time. Like a drink and night out at the weekend, beach days, music festivals, wkends away etc. I work full time so fairly quiet during the week, maybe the odd wine or 2 ; ) I like to go to the gym, so if there is one close or in the complex...bonus! Im looking for a clean fairly modern place with outdoor space (balcony or garden) Im clean and tidy, would be looking for people to share with that are similar. Looking for some awesome people to live with in an apartment or house around Richmond/South Yarra/Caulfield area :) (Furnished room preferably, or at least a room with a bed) I'm a 28 yr old female who loves good food, relaxing with a wine, keeping fit, socialising on the weekend but am just as happy chilling at home. I'm moving back to Melbourne to start my PhD in visual perception/consciousness at Monash (full scholarship which is basically the same as working full time). I love trying new things and going on adventures/meeting new people :) I'm also really open minded, don't take myself too seriously and love live music and gigs. (and the usual stuff, rent/bills always paid on time; clean and respectful of others space but also very friendly)
I'm a quiet young professional originally from New Zealand. Looking for a place where I can quietly relax after work and during the weekends. In my spare time I enjoy reading, going to the gym, going for walks, and catching up with friends for the occasional drink. I always make an effort to be a conscientious housemate, making sure I clean up after myself and respect noise levels. If this sounds like what you are looking for flick me a message. Thanks! Aynsley
