Hello there! I'm Natalie. What makes me great to live with? First off, I've lived in a share house before, so I know the do's and the don'ts. I will always be reliable with rent and utilities. I won't intrude on your personal space, but that doesn't make me utterly boring and anti-social either. I work as an integration aide. I'm looking for a work/life balance. I love my work, I have a disability myself -so I feel like I'm giving back. I've sewed most of my oats, but I still like to go out time and again (or have a quiet night in with some wine and laughs.) My ideal flatmates would be female (but there may be some flexibility there) I don't care if you smoke, eat meat, or even have a pet, so as you can see I'm pretty flexible. If you think that I'd make an awesome roommate or have any questions - msg me.
Hey Guys, My name is Mitchell and i'm 22. I recently moved to Melbourne to begin a new role in Project Management for a Property Development firm. I have been living out of home for over 4 years so know the ins-and-outs of being a good roommate. I and very clean but not completely OCD, Very social and always enjoy a glass of wine or 3. Ideally as I am new to Melbourne I am looking to make friends not just roommates who come and go and do their own thing (but considerable of having your own space) I am gay so please be LGBT friendly. My budget is up to $300 a week and has to be my own private room also would never so no to having pets but unfortunately no Cats as I am allergic. If I am a good fit please let me know and we can catch up for a coffee/drink to get to know each other. Look forward to hearing from you. Mitch
Hi, I am Clare. I have recently moved to Melbourne for work and I am look for a place to live. I have my own car and some furniture. Most willing to buy or borrow a bed. I currently work full time so I won't be around too much during the week. I have family in Melbourne so I may be out on the weekends (or I'll be out shopping). I am quiet and tidy. I love to chat, big into Netflix binges, a good platter and making friends over dinner (which I can attempt to put together). Talk soon!
I'm 32 years old, originally from Adelaide, and work as an engineer in the renewable energy sector. I have a great, stable job in the city, so am looking to stay nearby. My main hobby is painting (digital or oil), so I'm hoping for a place with some space to do this. I am very considerate of my housemates and always keep my place clean. I like to cook too. Hoping to find some housemates that I'll get along with since I don't know that many people here.
I'm a recent graduate with a Masters in Dietetics so as you may expect I love food! I also like the gym, I play footy and dabble in growing veggies a couple of times a year. I'm a bit of a tinkerer and love having a project or two on the go, usually giving some furniture a bit of a refresh or making something new. I'm a relaxed kinda housemate but I am looking to find somewhere where the people respect the space they live in and keep it clean. If you think I might be a good fit for your house please get in touch!
Hello, my name is Jacqui. I have lived in share-houses before, and while I have lived with my mother (the past 7 years), I have been offering my services as a house-sitter. I am a quiet, honest, friendly person, and I study BSc full time, as well as volunteer in astrophysics research. I work casually as a science Educator for high school and primary students, and spend almost every evening at home - as I do a lot of study and research (I'm not one to go out a lot). I enjoy living with others, as I appreciate company when I come home, which is why I have always had a pet growing up! I am looking for places in Hawthorn/Hawthorn East/Camberwell/Malvern area, as it is close to my university, and easy to get to and from the city (I have a full license, but don't own a car, so I use PT). My budget is $160 p/w. I realise that is quite a low budget, but at the moment that is all I am able to afford. If you are interested in contacting me with a possible place, please keep in mind I will only respond to ads that are in my budget.
Hey all, I'm a full time student at Monash working 2 part time jobs meaning I don't have a lot of downtime. I study Business and Human Rights and am aiming to work for a non profit. I'm looking to move into a new place pretty much asap. Looking for a cool place (size of room doesn't bother me) with some cool like minded people to explore this awesome city with. Big fan of any music, travelling and red wine. Cheers x
Hi! I'm 20, studying Software engineering at Monash uni and working part time, I am looking to move closer to uni and work. I am very clean, respectful and reliable but also enjoy being social, down for drinks and banter :)
Respectable and very house proud. Moved to Melbourne from Brisbane 12 months ago. I have a professional job and working in the media industry. Social and enjoy some downtime too. I also have 2 fur babies - a Jack Russell (she's 16 yo) and an English Staffy (he's 6) - so prefer a fenced yard that's secure.
Hello! My name's Luke, I'm an engineer working full-time in the city. I'm a pretty positive and social person, and am generally clean and easy to live with (well I think so!). Always up for a chat with housemates, but will also give plenty of space when needed. Feel free to shoot me a message if you're keen to meet up!
Hi, my name is Rhi. My cat Vinny and I need to be out of our current house in September due to our existing housemates all growing up and pairing off so we’re looking for some new ones! I am 28, employed full-time, and have been living in share houses since I was 18 so I know the drill. Things get paid on time, communal areas get kept tidy, and my work schedule means I’ve never clashed with anyone for the bathroom. I’m a bit creative (I draw and paint and collect dumb eclectic things) so hopefully my housemates won’t mind the decorative mishmash of things I intend to hang on our walls! I have got a house worth of furniture (sofas, wall units, large TV, fridge, washing machine, etc.) which I can either sell or bring with me. I like my homes to be chill places where people are comfortable to be themselves. Whilst not expressly looking for a party house I believe that friends and lovers should always be welcome. I am invaluable at pub trivia nights. I am rainbow friendly and bigot unfriendly. An older character place full of music, blankets, fairy lights, plants, books and snacks and with at least a small yard is my dream. Vinny is a small ginger rescue boy with the sweetest face who is super skilled at sitting juuust out of reach and stealing food literally from your mouth. He is stupidly obsessed with a big plush Rastafarian banana that I have. He is plucky and I have seen him interact well with other animals. Looking forward to talking to you soon!
I have the most well behaved cat in existence? Hah, I shouldn't start with that. Hello, I'm a recently graduated student looking to get closer to the Eastern suburbs. I am quite private and keep to myself often so you probably won't see me around much. I am a very clean individual (clean as you go!) and I keep to my own spaces, I live off my computers as a digital artist. I am looking for work in Bar tending and Barista-ing which might mean late hours. I don't mind what gender I'm living with so long as they pick up their own junk and don't let my cat out into the neighbourhood to get lost in. I'm rather bad at cooking but I can do simple recipes, though I'm prone to forgetting to eat. Don't mind me, I'll be fine haha. I don't smoke nor am I into drugs but I don't really mind others doing so if it's away from me. I'm rather passionate in LGBTQIA+ issues but I'm not one to bring it up to people who didn't come to argue. My cat is a chronic sleeper and enjoys naps in the sun. He has no interest in human beings or climbing counters/tables after he has done it once. He makes no messes and doesn't go to the loo enough to even be a concern (he's a clean child). I love him so much my heart bursts with joy thinking about him.
Hi everyone :) I am moving from Adelaide to Melbourne (Permanently) on the 20th of October as I am wanting to pursue my Acting. I currently work at Coles on a part-time contract but I get full-time hours and have already lined up a store transfer to the South Melbourne Coles store so I am looking to live as close to that store as possible. I am very well mannered, friendly, respectful and clean. I do not smoke, drink and never touched any kind of drug. I love watching movies, going to the gym and playing video games. Ideally I am looking for a room but I would be keen to team up with other people looking for a place but as I will not be bringing much with me when I move over, anywhere I move I would need it to be furnished. I would really like to find a place that I can call my home for 6 months - 1 year or possibly more :) Also seeing as I have never been to Melbourne and moving there is a huge step, I would love a place that I can meet new friends and be shown around Melbourne. Look forward to hearing for you all :)
Hi! My name’s Anna, I’m 24 years old, currently in my last year of Uni studying to be a teacher and I work casually at rebel Sport in Richmond. I am a reliable, clean, friendly and easy going person who loves to be around people but also enjoys time to myself. I love watching trashy TV, going out with friends (although I’m not much of a party animal!), reading and meeting new people. Ultimately I’m looking for a clean and friendly household with like minded people! :)
Hi guys, I’m a hard working and very tidy individual who enjoys both private time and socialising with others. I work weekends and nights on Chaple St bartending so I’ll be out of the house majority of the time! I enjoy having a laugh and hanging out but I understand personal space and the need for quiet now and again. Look forward to hearing from you!
Originally from Ballarat now working in the CBD I’m the energy space, recently graduated with a Masters of Energy systems from Melbourne Uni. I love gaming and chilling on the couch watching movies on weekends . Also quite the coffee snob and bruncher on the weekends. I also Love chatting/debating politics and good philosophical discussions. I Always clean up after myself, defs not a party type or looking for a party house. Im quite introverted but I try and go out of my way to surround myself with extroverts who bring out the best in me. Very into health and fitness hitting the gym most days. Looking for flatmates who can be friends who lead independent lives outside the place too, bonus If you love watching Old Simpsons and Seinfeld episodes with or the newest fad on Netflix and open to getting a house cat at some point down the track. Cheers
I'm 28 and work as a paediatric nurse. I work inconsistent shift work, including nights and weekends so you'll often have the place to yourself. I keep pretty quiet between shifts but like to get social on my days off. I'm always happy to share a bottle of wine (or many) while binging a tv show with my housemate. I'm looking for a considerate, clean and tidy housemate who enjoys bonding with their housemates, but isn't offended when I need some independent time at home too.
Hi there, I’m Hayley. I’m 27 and work full time in advertising, based in the city. I love running, boxing and watching trash tv with my housemates. Please insert the usual stuff about being pretty quiet during the week but enjoying a wine on the weekend. I’m from Perth originally and have been in Melbourne for a year. I’d really love to live with 2 girls who are already friends and enjoy hanging out together - I’m the housemate that’s up for Saturday brunch, not ignoring each other completely!
Hey! I’m Bella, a 23 and a half-year-old PhD student studying at Monash University. I am looking for somewhere to call home with my rather large and somewhat somber cat Fat Louie. A bit about me: Academia is my full-time job so on top of research I teach a couple of times a week. My PhD is in film and screen studies so I’m a TV nerd. I enjoy going out for brunch, staying in to cook, reading in bed, the spur of the moment road trip, and while I’m a fan of an early night in bed I’m also fond of staying up for a wine and a chat (preferably with cheese involved). I’m also a walking, talking Netflix algorithm so a total go-to if you’re in need of a new TV show to binge. My favourite animal is a polar bear. My power colour is red. Capricorn. Overall, I’m hoping to find a home with housemates who become friends. A bit about Louie: Lou/Fatty was rescued from a shelter just over 18 months ago. He is 8 years old but has the demeanour of 75 year old man who doesn’t have time for anyone else’s business. Handsome, charming, and charismatic Louie mainly prides himself in his skills of keeping to himself, sleeping for extended periods, and avoiding contact with humans. Weighing in at 11kgs I was recently told “you could make a bunch of money off of him” and while I don’t know exactly what that entails, Lou and I had a chat about it and he decided it would probably chew into his sleep time.
Hello All! I am moving down to Melbourne at the end of October and I am looking to move into a new sharehouse. I am currently finishing off my degree in Psychology and will be moving down to hopefully get a job as a Researcher or Case Manager and be closer to my partner, who also lives there. I would say I am incredibly easy going, talkative and social, I really enjoy a good dinner, drinks and a boogey every now and then. I would prefer a house that is social with each other, yet of course respectful of each others space and privacy. As I love to spend a lot of time outside of the house if I can, gardening, cycling, hiking, gym and reading, I am always up to doing something I am a vegetarian, but care not for what you eat. I love music, gigs, op shopping, and thriftiness, and will continue to volunteer at Lifeline down in Melbourne. I am very tidy in all shared spaces, but like a room that is filled with my own things, like plants and books. So, I am looking for a house that all-in-all is just open, respectful and social, to welcome me into the new City. Hit me up if you think we'd be a good fit!
