Currently working full time in HR and relocating to St Kilda road for work. Also completing my Masters in HR so these take up most of my time, but I still like to have fun when I can. I have a good sense of humour and love a chat, but also know personal space is needed. Love food and drinks and keen to explore the southside area :) The last 3 years I've had really good friends as housemates, so would love to chat for a bit first to make sure we get on quite well. Move date is flexible at the moment so can talk about that.
Hi ! I'm French and I found a great job in Melbourne, as a leathersmith. I have a WHV so I want to take the time to discover the city and its people too ! Before that, I lived in two different shared houses in France : one year with 3 other girls and another year with 2 boys and 2 girls. I really loved these experiences and I think I'm a trustworthy, tidy and cheerful person to live with ! I love going out with people, drinking a glass of wine (or two), reading books as well as going to exhibitions or gigs. Eating good-quality food and doing sport are more a "project of life" than a current fact but I'm a very motivated person ! Another thing : My level of english is approximate but I plan on improving it, so I'm looking for patient mates ;) Hope we will get along ! Can't wait to meeting you !
Hi this is Sally ,originally from Korea live in Australia for 7years (Australian citizen now) . I live in Townsville, North Queensland and I'll move to Melbourne end of Jan. I'll do small business related photography and I'm beautician as well. Im willing to pay rent on time. I'm pretty easygoing, chill, not picky, very clean and tidy, animal lover. I love going out and hang out with friends, travel, hiking, enjoy casual drinking. I bring my friends over sometimes but not big party person. Always clean up afterwards. If you have a rule don't bring guest over please don't contact me. I'm looking for place which is clean, prefer big room , own bathroom, must have a car park, internet available and freindly social share mate. Can hangout together and have a meal sometimes. So looking for someone live with that I can call a friend more than share mate and understanding my broken English:D Thanks:)
Dear People We are two girls fresh to Melbourne, I’m from Germany although you wouldn’t hear it in my accent and Kathryn is from London. We’re both in our mid twenties, thoroughly house trained and are looking for a house to make our home. Ideally in Brunswick East, Collingwood, Fitzroy, Carlton, Richmond or Footscray and on a budget of $200pw. Ideal move in date is the end of this month. We’re both gonna be working in hospitality and although ideally we are looking for two rooms in one house but we also won’t mind sharing a room. What we are really looking for a is a nice house where people don’t just live in the same house but become pals, share meals and glasses of wine and the odd night out. I’m really into cooking and would love to get into some gardening so a house with a nice backyard and a good kitchen as well as a good-sized social area is what we’re looking for. I know that these are things everybody is looking for and as much as I don’t wanna blow our own trumpet too much I can confidently say we are a great addition to any shared house. After four years of living in shared houses we are both well house trained, will clean up after ourselves and I personally find cleanliness pretty damn important so living with me basically means you’ll be living in a clean house. Kathryn did music at uni, I studied hospitality, our interests lie in music, going to gigs and museums, going dancing, dinner parties with the housemates and friends. I’m a sucker for a good Netflix binge watch evening. We both smoke and I’d like a 4/20 friendly house and yes we indulge in the naughty and fun things most of our generation does but if you’re not a party house then we will obviously respect that. Generally we are both easy going, down to earth, outgoing sociable and respectful people that like meeting new people, having a cheeky glass of wine with the housemates or a good group shindig but will also respect everyone’s needs for privacy. If you wanna know anything else about us please just get in touch! Love, Leonie and Kathryn
I'm a Brisbane girl who is transferring from UQ to Monash to study Engineering and major in Developmental Biology - meaning I like to drink. I've lived out of home for a while now and am searching for similar people who like to hang out and share some dinners etc. I'm a fairly clean person especially in the kitchen (it helps as I can't cook) and lounge room and am respectful of others needs. Hoping to move out with about 2 other flat mates, please feel free to message me if you're interested :)
I am an easy going, fun loving ,regular guy working for an IT firm.I like to travel, play sports, watch movie etc and I am looking for a place where people are friendly, clean and organised and people respect personal space .
- social work student at RMIT - Personality -wise I've been described by others as like a real life Tina from Bob's Burgers - skills: cooking, opening jars, telling dad jokes - Likes: netflix, drinking various beverages with friends/housemates, old movies, trying new foods, dad jokes, literally all animals - 100% Ravenclaw PS: In case you're looking at starting a team up or you just signed a lease, I come with a tv, coffee table, a microwave and lots of kitchen stuff
Hi! My name is Miranda. I'm a 26 year old Orthoptist who has recently started a new job at the Cabrini Hospital in Malvern. I've lived in lots of sharehouses and am happy to have a chat and share a meal or drink with housemates but also very happy doing my own thing. I like to get out of the house a fair bit for running, yoga, hikes, and exploring Melbourne.. hence perfect housemate! I'm also a vegetarian but don't mind if you arent. :)
Just a couple of young whippersnappers, looking for some people to stay with. Were pretty light hearted type of guys that can get along with anyone. Im very driven and my mate likes to party so together we balance each other out. Im looking for people who are studying at Swinburne, interested in business and an aspiring entrepreneur. He is just after a good laugh. Hit me up if your interested!
Hi, Im Zozo and 28 years young, and work within retail and sales. When I'm off work I enjoy going out for dinner and drinks, and I also enjoy quiet nights watching my tv series. I try to spend time at the gym, but I prefer the beach and outdoor activities. I used to live in Windsor and now I'm looking for a furnished (preferred) room in the south areas, close to chapel and the beach. I want to rent for at least 2 months and move in asap. I enjoy my home when it's safe, clean and tidy. It's important to respect the house and each other. I'm very social but i also enjoy my privacy. I would love to come and have a look at your room if it's within the areas I'm looking for. Hope to hear from you! /zozo
We are two fun Dutch girls planning to find full time work for the last three months of our visa in Melbourne. We are not a couple, but looking to share a room to save money. We are great at cooking and chilling out and enjoying a good time with friends/housemates. Easy going, social and clean. We don't have too many wishes for a house just a nice enough place in a nice area with some good people. We have both traveled a lot and lived in different places around the world. We'd love to share stories, do a little yoga, go outdoors and drink coffee (we are very excited for Melbourne). If you have a good place for us on offer let us know!
Hey, I'm Angus and I'm moving down to Melbourne from Darwin to begin my design degree at RMIT. I've spent the past 18 months working as a barista in my local coffee shop, so will be looking to get a job again once I move down. I'm easygoing and quite laid back and tend to avoid fuss and drama. I like having my own space but also enjoy being around others and having a drink or two or sharing a pot of coffee. I like animals so if you have pets, I am fine with that. I don't drive but would hope to find somewhere to store my bike. Feel free to shoot me a message or a text if you would like to get into contact or want to know anything else about me. Cheers
Hi! I'm looking to move into an inner north room ASAP. Will consider Footscray area too. I have accommodation in the place I was renting in Geelong but I no longer need to be there so I'm returning to Melbourne. Me: Clean. Reliable. Respectful of all cultures and lifestyles and can move in any time. No gender household preferred. Audio producer by trade. Maybe I can produce that record you're sitting on if you let me sing harmony backing ;) You: Are who you are and I can fit in around that. I'm an asset to a house share situation so hit me up. I might banter in Suessian rhyme. You may find it sublime. And like my rent payments they are always on time. <3 I've been in Geelong a couple of years for education reasons but that's all in the past (hah). SMASH CUT: (Present Day) I am really looking forward to moving back into Melbourne and establishing myself here and would be grateful to take on that space you have available. Still have accommodation til Feb 15 but I can move at a moments notice and will do so if required. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Hi :) My name is Megan, and my housemate's name is Claire. I'm 23, Claire is 24, and we both work full time in the CBD and inner suburbs here in Melbourne. We're looking for a friendly, clean and considerate person to join us in looking for a house in Richmond, South Yarra, Windsor or Prahran, with similar habits and of a similar age to us. We're both very clean people, work 9-5 jobs during the week, head to the gym after work (Megan), and catch-up with friends on the weekend (we have different friendship groups, so you would absolutely not be a 3rd wheel!). I'm originally from Australia, but lived internationally for 10 years, before moving back to Australia just over a year ago (I moved in with Claire after meeting her on Flatmates when I moved down to Melbourne), and Claire is originally from the UK and France, but has also lived in New Zealand, then moved to Australia to complete university here in Melbourne. We're looking to move in the next month or so, so if you think a clean and friendly house with two girls around your age sounds like something you might be interested in, we would love to hear from you :)
I love to laugh so I’m always up for banter and random discussions. I keep busy as a graphic designer, playing soccer, keeping fit, discovering new foods and ales. My next adventure will be to South America to find out more about my background!
Hey hey! My name is Bri and I'm a 25-year-old American. I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in April of 2015 and decided I wanted to do a bit of travelling and living abroad before diving into a career back home...18 months later and I'm still here! I am currently doing my masters at the University of Melbourne, studying marketing communications, and work as a nanny to support my UberEats addiction. I know how to respect others space and privacy, as well as maintaining a tidy living space. I consider myself to be a healthy mix of extrovert and introvert. I'm all about having a good time, catching up with friends--whether it be going out for drinks, brunch, or a good hike--but I also enjoy my nights in and Netflix binges. I may be biased, but I consider myself to be very friendly and personable, and I can adapt pretty well to whatever my surroundings are. I'm also open to pets! I'll love whatever dog or cat you have as my own.
Outgoing, sarcastic, clean, considerate and honest pretty much sums me up. I'm fairly social, enjoy making the most of life wining, dining, dancing and exploring Melbourne but also appreciate downtime and having a peaceful space to kick off the trainers, relax and watch a little Netflix. From the States, work in Sales. Big time animal lover! Flexible with length of stay just looking for a good fit!
Hey I'm Adrian. I've been a youth worker for many years (keeps me young at heart!) and consult with small organisations in Asia who are working with young people from challenging backgrounds, (so am overseas for several weeks at a time a couple times a year). While an introvert by nature, I love working with and helping people. Would love to find a place that I can put to good use my vegie gardening skills, (love it!). I'm a fairly quiet housemate who will largely do my own thing but love engaging with others from time to time and love a good laugh. I've been brought up well - good manners, keep the place tidy and am pretty intuitive when it comes to people and their need for company or space. I will at times work from home or in a local cafe but have an office that I am in regularly as well. My hours are fairly flexible (which may make sharing a bathroom alot easier if sharing with professionals who work more normal hours). Love to stay healthy - eat well, love my exercise and don't smoke, drink or do drugs (some reckon that's amazingly boring but that's simply how I choose to do life and I respect that others choose different to me - how boring the world be if we were all the same!). My friends would say that I'm: honest, genuine, loyal, friendly, quiet, funny and compassionate. I've done alot of house-sitting for friends (and strangers), am well house-trained and happy to provide references.
We are a busy working couple, working in sport event management. We're looking for a social home with some people we can enjoy a dinner and a glass of wine with in an evening. We're active during the week and keen for an adventure on the weekends! We're both originally from the UK but are settled here in Australia and are looking for somewhere to make home. We've lived in share housing for a long time and so are considerate, clean, all the things you would hope for in your flatmates.
Hi, I'm Celina! I'm a recent graduate who is now working full time as a junior designer at a design studio in Richmond. My work keeps me out of the house during the weekdays but I like to keep busy on my weekends with brunch and F45. I do also enjoy a good night out and quiet, relaxing nights in. I'm easy to live with. I'm clean and super handy with a vac. I'm a social person but respect your space and privacy. I'm looking for a friendly home and great people to move in with around Richmond/South Yarra and surrounding suburbs.
Hi, I’m Yasmin 27 year old nurse from the UK. I’ll be arriving in Melbourne on the 28th February, looking for somewhere to live not to far from the city and with good transport links to all the hospitals. Looking for a fully furnished room as I will just be coming with just my backpack. I am an outgoing, fun loving person, I love traveling and enjoy running, yoga, bouldering and relaxing with good food and good friends but I also enjoy my own space. I’m pretty chill, tidy and easy to live with.
Hi all! I'm James. I moved down to Melbourne about 7 months ago, and I'm currently living in an apartment in Southbank. Now I’m comfortable with the city (especially living so close to the cbd), I want to move a little further afield to somewhere like South Yarra or St Kilda or something. I work as a lead designer (graphics, websites, animations, videos, games, apps and more) in the city Monday to Friday (9am to 5:30pm) at a pretty cool company! I’m also a pole dancer (but not a stripper)... I'm looking to share with one other person (male or female), preferably around my age. I like going out, enjoy dinners (cooked at home and eating out), and like to keep a tidy home. I'm looking to share with someone who wouldn't mind hanging out some of the time, but also appreciates their own time too. I come with fridge, super awesome couch, 2 TVs, a few consoles (PS3, PS4, etc), a bookcase and a chest of drawers. I love making cocktails and other drinks. Playing videogames is occasionally a thing that happens. So too are boardgames! Before we move in, I am going to want to get to know you better - I'd prefer if we had some things in common, because hey I wouldn't say no to another friend.
I'm a Drama student from the UK, studying abroad at Monash but looking for a place to stay from mid February to the end of May, somewhere closer to the CBD. (Some flexibility there!!). Sociable, relaxed and respectful, I'm happy to hang out with flatmates or muddle through independently, whatever works. I'll also be working part-time in the CBD and Richmond areas, mostly in the evenings. I enjoy hanging out with a beer and a film, as well as heading to the beach, city, or theatre.
