We are a young Swedish couple on working holiday visas. Both are hospitality workers, and we are looking to stay in Melbourne about six months, maybe more. In our free time we like to go to the gym, go for walks, and of course stay in and just relax. We are clean, friendly, easy going and open minded, sociable but also like to keep to ourselves. We enjoy grabbing a beer or two but prefer our home to be a non party house.
Hi, I'm Hannes, a 32 year old digital artist from Germany. Since last week I'm working at Method Studios on St. Kilda Road (formerly known as Iloura) - a studio for movies special effects - as a 2D compositor. I'm planning to stay for at least 6 months in Melbourne and am therefore looking for a nice place to live. I'm easy going, but neat and clean. Well, I guess everyone would tell that about themselves. :) But in my case it's true, I promise. And I solemnly vow that I'm able to pay on time and without any hassle.
i'm a 24 year old who works full time in the CBD. in my downtime i can be found baking bread, trying out cocktail recipes, at a museum or with a book in my hands. sharehouse trained! i'm passionate about creating a good living situation, (because the place i'd like to live in should be a home; not just a house) meaning: if you have a hard day and need space, i'll give that to you. if you can't get to your dishes in time, i can chip in. if you're late on your bills, i understand. if you need a cup of tea and someone to listen, i'll be there. and if you need a dog to pat, i'll find one, somehow.
Hey there! I'm a respectful but sociable 29 year old woman from Toronto, Canada. I'm in Australia for a one-year Working Holiday Visa and looking to set up a home base in Melbourne. I work full-time in Fitzroy at this awesome Spanish tapas restaurant. My hospitality background has made me extremely intuitive about the needs of others, and very skilled at keeping the space around me clean, organized, and welcoming. I work 5 nights a week and doubles on Sundays; I also have plenty of creative and fitness-related hobbies that keep me occupied during the day. With that said, I'm always keen for a chat or a hang when I'm home. Feel free to reach out if you think I'd be a fit for your place :)
// 21/03/18 // I just visited a really cool 2 bedroom 2 bathroom house in North Melbourne and am looking for someone to apply with me. Feel free to message me for more details. ----- Heya I'm Isma, 31yo graphic designer from Belgium. Looking for a bedroom in a drug-free house I could call home. I am C L E A N and T I D Y and am expecting housemate to be the same (house trained, knowing how to keep a house clean, washing dishes after using kitchen, normal stuff really). Sharing only with one other person. Keen to team-up to find the right place too! I'm laid back, down to earth and friendly. I'm quiet most of the time but like having human interactions with housemate. I'm into music, nature, spirituality, animals, video games, documentaries, outdoor activities, gigs, healthy food and nutrition. Should I mention I am vegan? I speak French and yes I'll teach you swearing words ;) Looking forward to meeting you!
I was born and raised in England and I am moving to Melbourne in October 2018, I have a full time job lined up working Monday-Friday. On week nights I like to go to the gym and watch Netflix. On weekends I’m open to a few beers or road trips to see new sights. Looking for potential flat/house shares with likeminded fun people.
I am a chemist currently working in the admin area of a scientific company. I am also doing a MBA course. I am looking for a nice place to live. I invest my time working, studying and training. Love sports, do triathlon, have done several marathons around the world.. I enjoy preparing my own food and eat well. I am very easy to deal with, like to have time with friends and also with myself, reading and listening to some music. I treat people respectfully, as I would like to be treated, as simple as that. Cheers! :)
Hi! My name is Holly, I am a 24 year old girl originally from Scotland. I currently live and work in Sydney but am moving to Melbourne on the 31st March. I work in finance and customer service at the moment and have a degree in History. I love meeting new people, exploring new places, keeping fit and socializing. I wouldn't describe myself as a party girl, but do enjoy the odd glass of wine and like occasionally going out to bars etc for social drinks on the weekend. In general, I am polite, friendly, sociable and respectful. It goes without saying that I always clean up after myself, and am more than happy to do my fair share of general housework duties. As much as I love hanging out with people, I also like my own space and understand it's important to give you yours too. I am very easy going and definitely not one of those passive aggressive flatmates that gets annoyed at the small stuff. Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you think I would be a good fit for something you have available :) Thanks! Holly x
Hello just a brief of myself. Im a chilled lad who enjoys going to gym and long walks at parks. I am a part time bartender at crown casino. Me as I housemate I am good at keeping the house clean as well as keeping the bedroom clean. And paying bills on time. If you got a room that can fit a desk, queen bed and chest of drawers, then flick me a message. If i messaged you about the room I am interested so please reply back as soon as possible. Been looking since October!!!!!
I'm a 19 year old Administration Assistant, and I am currently studying my Bachelor of Nutritional and Dietetic Medicine. I work 3 days a week 8-4 and then study online at home. I love cooking and sharing my food with others (hence the nutrition degree) and I also spend a fair bit of time at the gym. My beautiful puppies will stay at my home (parents) when I leave so if you have a pet that is a definite bonus. I'm definitely at the cross section of lone wolf and social butterfly, so I love having alone time in my room but am also down to share a meal or what movie marathons! I'm looking to move out any time before September, but end of April is probably best for me so I can put aside my bond and months rent etc. Im also flexible with length of stay, preferably 6 months or more though :)

Hello All :) I've been living in Melbourne for a few months, and have just begun started studying in the CBD. I'm looking to find a room in a place that's closer to the CBD (currently living in Clayton). I'm looking to move in with friendly people who don't mind a chat and a laugh. I'm very chilled and easy-going, and will be quite busy with my upcoming study. I also enjoy cooking, so that's something I'm willing to do in a shared environment. I can move any time. I have a car, so I'll need a place to park (on the street is fine).
Hey there! Im currently looking for a place to move into for the next 6 months or so. I moved down from the coast of NSW last September, and will be moving back up north when mid September rolls around this year. Im 25 years old, working at Royal Melbourne as a registered nurse. I'm really easy going, social, and always up for meeting new people. Coming from the coast, I do love a trip down to the beach (when Melbs weather isn't acting too crazy), as well as exploring what the city has on offer. If you have a room available, would love to hear from you:)
I consider myself easy going, sociable and helpful around the house. I am a full time student at Melbourne Uni and I work part-time on weekends (25 hours).

I also like to cruise around and do photography whilst thinking of my next creative project. I enjoy cooking, keeping clean and listening to good music (Soul, Funk & Jazz). Working part time in retail at Nixon keeps me busy in my spare time. Our mate bailed out on us whilst looking for a house, so we’ve decided to find a suitable to join the family.
Hello! I'm a 24-year-old American making the move to Australia to work full-time out of my company's Melbourne offices. I work in tech consulting for a company called Bluewolf. Originally from Boston, MA currently residing in Denver, CO. I enjoy exploring new cafes/bars/restaurants, hiking, traveling, puppies, and a good Netflix binge. I don't know many people in Melbourne so it'd be great to live with people who are open to being friends, but also I totally respect the need for personal space after a full day/week of work. Also, probably important for me to note I'm a big advocate for keeping all common areas clean + tidy, nobody likes a dirty home. :)
Hi, Sydney girl just moved to Melbs. Full time working professional that likes a wine on the couch at the end of a work day and to watch some QandA or cricket or even some sneaky trash tv. Quite laid back but like to live quite clean. Out most weekends and some weeknights.
I’m Nancy, 25ys, Thai ..I can move in from 1st April, for at least 5 months (my current visa expires in August, but I plan to extend it). ... I’m working full time at restaurants—usually 5-6 days/week (10am-10pm)—so you won’t see me much during the day time, but we can definitely have a drink together when I finish work :) ... On weekends, I often hang out with my friends, or sometimes chill at home with a glass of wine. .. I’m very easy going and down to earth. I’m also tidy, clean, very flexible and very respectful of others. ... More importantly, I always pay rent on time!!!
About myself.. I'm a mid 20's stock standard stock broker working in a St Kilda office location. I generally work between 10am - 7Pm so looking for something clean to stay with likeminded professionals that don't take themselves TOO seriously and are somewhat sociable. I'm pretty responsible as young professional, I'm easy going, clean around the house and pretty simplistic to be honest. I enjoy trading forex ( even after doing it all day at work), Big Manchester City supporter, gym enthusiast, racing sim junkie, and heavy into personal development. Literally just living a full 100% and keeping myself 100%, Heavily career focused so wont be making too much ruckus. HMU
