From Brisbane moved here 3 months ago, working full time in the city as a chef. At home I'm neat and able to clean up after myself and do common shared house chores, friendly and happy to socialise with people I'm living with as well as giving each other personal space. Being new to Melbourne i like to see what it has to offer on my days off. Let me know if you want a reference from previous roommates /landlords.
Hi! Everyone, I am currently living in east gippsland and wanting to move back to Melbourne ASAP! Looking for a place to call home for at least the next 6 months if not longer. I have just been accepted to study at Swinburne starting on the 31st of July. I love make up and having a few drinks and good night out, I am a very relaxed tidy person who is social (but needs to make new friends) but also loves some down time relaxing or watching a movie. I have been bartending the last few years and making coffee. I already have a Saturday night job in Melbourne lined up but I'm still looking for some work during the week when I'm not studying but that hopefully should be sorted in the next week. Would love to come and have a look at your room and have a chat asap! I look forward to hearing from you soon. Thanks Tegan 😊
American in Melbourne until at least November, I work as a restaurant manager out in Richmond. Looking for a few clean young like minded housemates. I like beer gardens and brunch foods!
Hello people of the internet! What I'm looking for in a place: - Close to public transport - Friendly/social vibes - A room that will fit a double bed, drawers, and a desk Boring stuff about me: - I'm 22 (would love to live with people around my age) - Work 2 part time jobs - between both my hours tend to be full time - Currently deciding whether to pursue postgrad study or to work full time (decisions are hard) - Always pay rent and bills on time - Good communicator - Consistent cleaner and tidier - Committed to staying long term in the right place - Not a ghost - i.e. you will see me in and around the house often - Love animals so if you have a pet it's a bonus for me! (Hopefully) Less boring stuff about me: - Will be there for you to edit your essay/love letter - Will share hilarious memes with you whether you like it or not - Will make sure you are consulted when ordering uber eats - Can contribute x2 house plants - Will never judge you when you make bad choices (e.g. watching house hunters all day) Would love to hear from you if you think we'd get along :)
Georgie: I'm studying at RMIT full-time doing mechanical engineering. I've just started working casually. I'm never really to sure how to describe myself. I like to think that I'm easy to get along with. Since I'm still new to melbourne (moved over from perth a month ago) I'm still trying to establish myself here. I'm pretty laid back, like to keep things relaxed although I like going out over the weekend. I have a 9 week old black lab named Apollo, I haven't been able to pick her up yet since I'm still trying to break my current lease.
My name is Lulu, I'm an interior stylist + photographer. I'm clean, and tidy I love going to the galleries, theatre and shopping. I love to go for coffee or wine and have been known to assemble a great cheese board. I run a freelance photography business on the side. Looking for someone who is clean and likes their own space but happy to share a meal or hang out occasionally Lulu
I am a full time Arts/Law student, from Melbourne. Considerate and easy going. I enjoy getting in the kitchen, and being creative:) I enjoy being social and partying but also love my time out to chill and read a good book.
Hey there! I'm Natalie and I'm nearly 20! I am currently moving from Brisbane down to Melbourne and would love to find a fun and energetic household to move in to. I love dogs, sleep and food. I also occasionally enjoy a great night out with a few drinks. I also currently work in Real Estate and once I have settled in down South, I'll be looking at transferring my qualifications to VIC.
I am currently moving from Brisbane to Melbourne due a great job offer. I enjoy cooking, having tv marathons and having an occasional glass of wine with my future roommate but I do also love my down time and alone time so I enjoy reading and keeping to myself when I need to. I am looking for someone who wants to move into a newer apartment that has great facilities (a good gym, pool, possibly a spa). I will be moving down with no furniture but will be buying some as soon as I can. I am also a very clean person so I would like my future roommate to be willing to make sure we share the cleaning in the common areas e.g. the bathroom, kitchen, living room to ensure we have a nice, tidy home! I am also looking for someone who is respectful, and friendly. A little about me, I am vegetarian and I enjoy yoga as well as catching up with friends for some good wine and cheese. I am looking for a nice newer place close to Melbourne CBD (Southbank, South Yarra, St Kilda, Collingwood, Richmond etc.) for example, Platinum Tower at Southbank. Note: Not interested in sharing a room Not interested in student housing
Im 27, female from the UK, here on a working holiday visa since december 2016. i have just about completed my farm work in south west Victoria and I have a job lined up in the cafe at the alfred hospital and I am looking for a house to move in august (moving back to melbs on the 3rd and currently have a hostel booked) I like to be social and I also enjoy my own space, I enjoy running and also going out for cocktails on a weekend when I have time of work (not often as I work in hospo) I would like to be able to have friends over (pre going out) once in while in my new home and be able to chat to my house mates and not just live in my room.
Hi my name is Sarah I am a 22 y/o model from Perth, I have worked internationally for many years and am now basing myself in Melbourne at least till the end of the year. I am a social person but also love my down time at home. I am a good cook (it helps that my dad is a chef). I am a very considerate housemate as I have had many in the past. I am clean, friendly, respectful and have never had any housemate troubles in my experiences. I've lived in Melbourne before and I'm in love with the city. Fun fact about me, I've just finished filming Australian Survivor which starts airing July 30 (another reason why I want to base myself in Melbourne).
I'm easy going and can talk about anything. I don't take myself too seriously though value doing a good job of things and being reasonable and respectful. I'm clean and tidy and don't leave a foot print (so to speak). I'm most often away with work and at the gym and attending other social events. I'm very independent and also mindful of other people's space. I also have a robust sense of humour which can be important for creating good vibes :) BTW I'm also quite flexible with the move date (any weekend or week day until 5/8) and length of stay. I can potentially stay much longer than 6 months - just thought that might be a good length of time to start on. I'm also very pet friendly in case you have pets.
My name is Shannon, I'm originally from the UK, but I've been living and working in Australia for the past year and have recently returned back to Melbourne. I'm an easy going person, who enjoys quiet nights in with a glass of red just as much as checking out new bars. I would say I'm definitely a foodie, but then again it's hard not to be when you are living in Melbourne. You'll probably find me happiest in the kitchen, creating something tasty to share with friends or checking out local food markets! The rest of my free time is spent exploring everything Melbourne has to offer, check out new musicians and looking for a bargain in a salvos. P.S I'm house trained and know how to tidy up after myself!
From NZ! Have been living in Melbourne for 4years. I work in the airline industry so I'm in and out a lot and away on average 2-3 nights a week! I appreciate a clean and fresh environment and will always be sure to tidy up after myself! Definitely love some good social interaction but completely understand personal space! Always up for slumber evenings of wine cheese and movies as well as getting out and about! Absolutely love a good morning of brunching! outdoors and going on adventures are also some of my favourite hobbies! Would love to be able to call who I live with a friend not just housemate!! I also have a super cute and sassy pup named Cheska. She is an easy to live with Maltese Shih Tzu who is house trained, does not shed and is super loving! I also have a full apartment of furniture (couch, fridge, washing machine, tv, kitchenware etc) **please not we are not able to commit to anything until late October**
What's up People I'm Marco, I'm looking for a shared house and nice people to live with. About me I can tell you that I love to cook a lot and ride my bike everywhere, listen to music and play it, one passion I have is to talk about physics/universe and psicology/spirituality aaaand I work in the hospitality industry, obviously I sound like a very normal person...but I'm not hahaha!! I love to travel and I can offer free language lessons in Italian, Spanish and a little bit of Portuguese and French. I play the drum but don't worry never too late or too early and I play it good ;) I'm very respectful of housemates spaces and I'm clean, I've got a lot of experience sharing houses around the world. I'm very keen as well to team up with anybody, hopefully before the 2nd of August, which is when I'll leave the house where I'm living now.
Hi there, I'm moving to Melbourne the 22nd of July. I've a Working Holiday Visa. I'm planing to stay in Melbourne for 5/6 months and then travel around Australia. I'm looking for a private room close to the city. About me, I am friendly, tidy and respectful. It's not the first time I share a flat.
Looking for a new place to stay during my exchange, starting around mid-august! About me: Small town French Canadian early retired sexologist 28-year-old gay law student based in Montreal. I’m responsible, organized, and respectful of people’s space. Having been a counselor for a while, I don’t shy away from real talks and good connections. I also like to go out and dance from time to time. Oh, and I like biking and volleyball. Kind of household: I am quite sociable and I hope to spend some time with my new roommates. However, I kinda like/need my sleep and privacy, so I don’t think a busy or party house would be the best fit. Animals = sure. People around my age = yas. Quick witted spirits = damn right. Gardening extraordinaires = yes please. Hit me up, Brenda!
I am a fun Indian to stay with. Mature for my age and can compete very well in a beer competition. I am a clean person and quiet sleeper so no snoring or walking around in the middle of the night. I am currently a full-time student at Monash University, Caulfield pursuing a Double Masters in Journalism. I have an awesome friend circle so far full of international students and would love to make some more. P.S- I can cook well and make one of the best-scrambled eggs. (demonstrations subject to availability of eggs and necessary kitchen equipment in the house)
I'm a civil engineer born and bred in WA but I've spent the last 9 months living and working in Shepparton. I’m heading back to Melbourne to work in head office on from Monday the 14th of August so I’m looking for somewhere permanent to call home. I'm 29 years old, been working as an engineer doing FIFO construction for 6 years and been living in share houses for 7 years (with guys/girls and dogs). I'm well accustomed to the usual housemate business (paying bills, keeping the place clean, keeping the noise down etc). My job has long hours so no risk of me waking the house up at 2am on a Wednesday morning. That said, do enjoy a beer and a chat after a day’s work but more than happy to give people their own space if that’s their thing. Music is my big time/money sink. Love going to shows/festivals and watching bands play live (usual poison is rock/metal). Other than that, like gaming and surfing (useless in the water, but love it), chilling with people, going to dinner, all the usual good stuff. I’ve chasing a place that is already kitted out (only moved over with 2 suitcases), but I can kit out a room as required. If that all sounds promising, send me a message and we can go from there cheers

Hi there, I'm looking for a nice share accomodation with a nice housemate (just one) I have my own furniture that will like to take with me, but I could get ride of some stuff if need be. I'm also open to team-up to look for a place together. I work full time in the cbd and studying part time and also trying to get back on my fitness sooo I'm usually pretty busy. I'm very easy going and like to be organised and tidy (not a clean freak - just tidy :)
