Hey beautiful people, I am looking for a new place to call home... i work full time in construction 6 to 5 times a week I am house trained, meaning if I make dishes, I do them. plus Im clean and friendly i did all my shots. The usual things people do when you've been sharing a house for the last 5 years + 3 More in the army , love to make friends and have a beer or two and a chat over some snacks. I'm looking for somewhere that is fun . Preferably this abode will be in the inner northern Suburbs (St Kilda .Fitzroy, Carlton, Brunswick, Northcote- etc) and looking to pay 800ish a month and gay friendly. hope to hear from you soon Ron mandelbaum
I'm not a stereotypical drunken Scotsman. Well, I do love a drink but that's not the point. Seriously though, I'm in Melbourne as a backpacker and since my friends are all leaving (it's not me, honest!) I need somewhere to stay with some awesome people. I'm clean and tidy, respectful of others and a trustworthy person. I'm not as boring as I make myself sound though; I'm sociable and love a laugh and good conversation. At the end of the day I'm a very laid back person who you'll have no bother getting on with!
Hey, I'm Anna From Germany, 28. I'm in Australia since January and I'm planning to stay air a few years. I am very interested in your beautiful room. I live in St Kilda in a Hostel and work as Traffic Controller in Melbourne. Is there any chance to view it? My mobile number is 0498155619 and Email firstname.lastname@example.org Best regards Anna
We are an outgoing couple from Scotland who love to socialise, travel and meet new people. We are both on working holiday visas. I, Olivia am working as a waitress and my partner Robert is a professional chef (who loves cooking a good family meal ;)). We are both in our early twenties and looking for a modern house with easy going, clean flatmates. Ideal location would be CBD, Carlton, Collingwood, Fitzroy, Richmond, Southbank, South Yarra or Prahran (open to options). We move out our current flat in Richmond on 2nd January 2017 and REALLY dont want to go back into a hostel. :)
My name is Sol, I'm 26 years old and work hospo. I work a lot, and go out a fair bit but I would love to find a home where I can spend time with my flatmates cooking, drinking of binging a show on Netflix. I'm pretty laid back and easy to get along with. Age is only a number but I would like to live with mature people that can take care of themselves and the house. A part from that, I'll be happy with anyone. I'm pretty tidy, clean and quiet. I've been living in Melbourne since 2012 and intend to stay, I'm after a long term accommodation and would rather not changing flatmate every month. I'm not really good at describing myself but message me if you want to know more.
Im just off the boat from sunny Scotland. Im easy going, a barrel of laughs and sociable but also like some me time. Love a good drink and night out at the weekend, beach, music festivals, wkends away etc. I work full time so fairly quiet during the week, maybe the odd wine or 2 ; ) Like going to the gym so if thats included in the apartment complex...bonus! Im looking for a modern apartment with outdoor space (balcony or garden) Im clean and tidy, would be looking for people to share with that are similar. Would like a flatmate to have a laugh with and share a drink with out or in now and again : ) Not interested in sharing a room. Want my own private double bedroom.
My home is like my haven. I love to relax, chill out, and keep a loving, peaceful space. I'm from London, and have come to Melbourne for the summer to see if I potentially want to live here.. (Very exciting). I'd love to find a place near the botanical gardens and the ocean if possible, and share with someone who doesn't mind my slightlyobsessive love of meditation, yoga and good energy :)
Hi there! I'm a 25 year old norwegian guy that's looking for a room close to melbourne CBD for the next 2 months. It's weird describing myself but I guess I'd say I'm friendly and easy-going. Grew up in a large family so I'm used to working as a team and sharing the chores. Hobbies incl: playing guitar, meeting new people, exploring nature, travelling going to concerts, sport events etc.., I don't need much, a room with a bed and a decent sized desk is enough to make me happy- Hope to hear from you, cheers ;D
I'm currently working full time in a call center and starting a visual arts course next year. In my spare time I like to draw, take photos and play xbox. I usually keep to myself but am very approachable person. I clean up after myself and cannot stand living in a mess.
I am from London and my girlfriend is from Colchester in Essex. After we graduated from university, we worked, saved money and are now attempting to travel around the world! We are currently in South East Asia and after spending Christmas in Bali we will be heading to Melbourne at the end of December to live and work there. We enjoy meeting new people, visiting new places, live music and food. We are looking to find a place in Melbourne to stay for about 2 weeks while we find longer term accommodation and new jobs in the city. We are friendly, socialble and tidy. Happy to answer any questions, cheers!
Hi there, My name is Bobby (25) from the Netherlands. Having me as a roommate is not flat, but uplifting. I love to share my personality with yours. So pick any extension from who I am and I share them with you: - Massage therapy - Music (percussion, guitar, flute, didgeridoo) - Photography - Poetry - Galactic conversations - Kindness - Stories - Books - Open mind and open heart Hope to see you soon! :)
Hey, I'm Jodie- I'm looking for a room, or happy to team up with others, for long-term stay or anything over 6months. I'm working full time as an accountant in the CBD, looking for anything that is close to public transport. I'm really easy-going, clean/tidy, respectful of others' personal space etc.. Ideally I would like to live with people with whom I can socialise with on the odd occasion, but keep things fairly low-key during the week. Feel free to message me on here or via text for more info :) Cheers

Hobbie include taking photos, shopping, hanging out with friends and of course going out to eat. Love a good burger or pizza ! I occasionally like to go for a good walk or do some exercising to stay healthy. Just want to live closer to the city because I am finding it hard traveling to get to work from where I am livin at the moment. I am working almost full time hours so won't be home during the day unless I have a day off. I am just looking for a place where I can get along with my housemates.
Hi! I'm an easygoing and social girl from Finland. I'm coming to Melbourne in January and searching for a furnished room to rent in a lively neighborhood. I'm ready to move in the beginning of February. Although I'm excited to share the place with other cool people I'd like to have my personal space, own room. I'm willing to check the places before making any contracts. As I'm not sure yet how long I'm going to stay in the city, I can't make leases longer than 4-6 months :) How am I as a flatmate then? I always clean after myself and I hope you do as well. I follow the house rules and keep my promises. I appreciate everyones own space. I like going out and be active, so I probably will be out of the house often. Also I won't mind dining and hanging out with my new nice flat mates! Overall I'm a fun and trustworthy person to live with :)

Hey guys, my name is Julia. I just moved to the big smoke from the lovely Gold Coast thismorning. I have always wanted to live in Melbourne and now I am here! Life is good. I am looking for a room in north Melbourne, no further than Coburg. I'm cool with a big house with lots of rooms or somewhere small. I have a cat named Sage. She's an inside girl, low energy and is desexed and twelve years old. She spends most of her time sleeping. I'd love for her to feel safe and at home where we go. I'm an artist who is looking forward to all of the creative opportunities Melbourne has to offer. I'm not a 9-5er. Hit me a message because my hearing is crap (ish). I am super friendly, relaxed, accepting, open minded and LGBT friendly. It could be rad. 😊
(Initial note: I am queer and sometimes gender-nonconforming/femme in my presentation, if this is an issue don't bother messaging me) I am a friendly, tidy, and responsible 22yo student, I'm also finding work over the holidays as I've only recently moved to Melbourne. I am always up for a chat but unintrusive, much of the time I will either be out or studying but I'm open to both independent and more friendly share arrangements if we have similar interests/get along. I am vegetarian and prefer to organise my own food, although I enjoy cooking and don't mind sharing at times. I don't currently have any furniture, however I require very little to be available (just a mattress/bed, but if it's a 6+ month lease I can source my own), and can supply my own kitchenware, other than an oven/hotplates. I'm looking for at least a 6 month lease, somewhere longer (up to a year) is no problem either. My move date is pretty flexible.
My name's Will, and I'm a 24 year old American in Melbourne for the next several months on a working holiday. After living around Washington DC my whole life, it seemed like time to go to the other side of the world for an adventure. I'm generally a laid-back person, I enjoy budget traveling and indie concerts, low-key bars, and hiking.
Amanda: 28, loves blankets and Netflix. Jem: 27, loves ice cream cake and the beach. Bonnie: 6, blonde, loves treats and pats. Is a dog. We've been friends for years and housemates since July 2015, but our lease is up and we want a bigger/nicer place, hopefully in the beach-adjacent area. Jem also comes with a huge 60" smart TV and golden retriever. Amanda comes with the sunny optimism of a golden retriever. Both fully employed, clean, and good conversationalists. Non-smokers. Good DVD collection.
Hi I'm Cam. I'm 33 and working full time for a supermarket. I'm constantly buying too much food so anything you want is up for grabs. I have a 7yo kelpie x border collie who is great with people and other dogs. I'm looking for someone who loves a to swap a story over a few drinks. I'm moving from a fully furnished place so if there is anything your place needs just let me know.
I am new to Melbourne and will be working full-time come January. I have previously lived in Bangkok and Singapore. I'm a very clean, tidy, and easygoing housemate who enjoys spending time at home watching TV shows and cooking light meals. I like my home to be a place to unwind and relax rather than a party place. Looking for like-minded housemates who can make home a fun place to live, hangout with, yet are mindful of each others' privacy. Also great if you're happy to explore Melbourne with me! :) x
Hey i'm Liam, i'm moving from Perth to Melbourne on the 19th of January to study Auslan (Australian sign language) at the Melbourne polytechnic institute and i am looking for a room to share. I am very mature, outgoing and i love trying new things. I am clean and tidy and will make a great roommate. I enjoy cooking, exploring new places, meeting new people and learning new things. I'm very easygoing and will fit in easily into your home.
Hi , I'm Duygu cheerful gray haired girl , from Turkey. I will come to Melbourne as a student for 2 months maybe 3. I am tidied up and neat. I always clean things after me, so that's not gonna be a problem. Not a neat freak. Pets are ok for me, if you have. I love any kind of animal especially cats and dogs ! I am friendly, outgoing, open-minded, cheerful. I like partying , movie nights, watching tv series, grabbing a glass of wine sometimes..Not a 24 hours party animal but I like meeting with new people, chatting, sharing thoughts, funny stories.. But I do respect other's life and spaces. I'm quiet at home but if you call me for PS,movie, chatting, dinner I'm always in ^^ Probably my English school will be between 9ish and 14o'clock, Mon-Fri. We don't have to be friends as soon as we respect each other and other's life. But if we do, why not? I'm looking for a place as a private room. Yard would be fine to have some friends and BBQ(I'd never complain about something if you'd do it everyday haha). I might be a student in Melbourne, but no worries about the bills cuz I'm already employed in my country. I'll be landed on 8th so it's a bit urgent <3
My name is Milena 33 y/o from Colombia, I am a graphic designer currently doing a course in Management and Leadership, working part time in a printing shop in the city and doing some freelance work as well. I am organised and clean and I'd love to live in a cosy clean house not too far from the city and I would loke to share a house with people who are respectful of others and take care of the place they share. I'm a chocaholic so I am always baking chocolate cakes :) I also enjoy working out, travelling, love dancing and cannot live without music.
Hi, I'm Clint, I'm 28 and I am looking for a place to live. I'm fairly flexible in terms of location as long as it's easy enough to get into the city for work. I'm looking for a fairly social house - hopefully nothing too crazy/hectic though. About me: I'm easygoing, friendly and considerate. I enjoy watching / playing most sports and don’t mind a social drink or two. I’ve lived in a few different flat shares so know what's expected, what makes a good housemate and what makes a shit housemate. If you think you have something suitable please let me know! Thanks. Clint.
I have lived in a share house before so understand the balance between fun and respecting others. This was in London and I have only been back in Australia for the past few months. Like to thing I bring a fun vibe to the house! My current position is in Sydney however I will be making the move to Melbourne at the end of this year / early 2017. I will still be with my current employer thought so I have a reliable income. I work in the media industry so often have long work hours! On the weekends I love a cider and socialising with friends or a girls night out but also enjoy a Netflix marathon and night in. I also enjoy going for long walks and adventuring to new places on the weekend. If I'm stressed I tend to bake and share with my housemates otherwise I feel guilty eating it all... Please contact me, I would love to hear about the type of person you are looking for or if you would like to know a bit more about me.
I've recently returned to Melbourne after living and working in San Francisco for the past five years. Prior to that, I lived in Melbourne for five years while doing a PhD. I'm a working professional with a busy life, but always up for a chat.
I am easy going and always up for an adventure. I am from the states and will be studying full time at RMIT and planning to work part time too. I am looking forward to going back to school but I am also up for new experiences, traveling and having a beer with mates.

Mainly looking for team up - I am wanting to move from South East Suburbs to Bayside area Brighton - Port Melb for a sea and city change. I have a little girl who is 8 that lives with me and we have had housemates on & off over the years. I have a full house of modern furniture & all kitchen amenities, I do like my house to look quiet stylish. Hoping to find someone that is looking for a home to share in those areas and start looking at places with me, I have started looking already but I feel, even though I have a strong rental application that due to the price of houses in these areas my rental application may be weakened on my own. We are super easy going to share with young people who are still (respectably) coming in at 5am on weekends or older people who have a very chilled lifestyle. I do have a little dog who is my daughters very best friend that I need to accommodate for also. About us: I am a professional who works as a financial controller full time, we both snowboard & I wakeboard also, always doing fun adventurous things. My daughter is fairly hilarious and depending on you she will either be your new bestie or she will leave you be, she's a little more grown up than most kids her age. We're not home a lot, go away a fair bit and am always out & about doing things. I am pretty clean, even when things can get a bit untidy you generally don't find much dirt in my house, I am very easy going though and understand not everyone enjoys cleaning as much as I do. The only time you will find this to be untrue is when I am flat out busy and have been popping in home for 5 minute pit stops with no time to clean, but I always still try to be considerate of others.
I'm an osteopath that has been lucky enough to travel the world with work for the past 10yrs. Will be settling back in Melbourne in the new year & I'm looking for a place not too far from the city. I enjoy my sport, live music, food, cooking and keeping fit. I'm tidy and easy going. I will also be traveling for work between 10-15 weeks of the year if that helps. :)
I'm a PhD student at University of Melbourne. I am from Colombia and have spent my last five years living in different places abroad, the last two living here in Australia. I'm really laid back, easy to talk with. I'm tidy and clean or at least try to keep things like that. I want flatmates to socialise with but also keep each other privacy. During my free time, I like to watch TV/movies, explore the city, go out with friends, try restaurants.
Hey all, I'm currently living in South Yarra but my lease is ending on my own apartment so I'm looking for a place for about three months before I head off overseas to Canada. I work full time hours between a few jobs but am always happy to have a laugh and a drink when I'm free. I'm into spontaneous road trips, cooking, volleyball, reading, and always willing to give something new a try.

I am always the life of the party, but still know a way to keep calm at home. My past roommates have loved my energy, stories, and the fact that I used to be a professional chef and am a bartender. I know how to provide all the finest drinks and food that we spend heaps of money on at home. I am currently taking a year off from university to work on an art exhibition that I will be doing in February in Melbourne. I am an artist. I am well traveled. I was raised in a few different countries. I speak multiple languages. I I I... enough about me. Ask what you are curious about, all that really matters is that I was raised right, I am polite, very friendly and fun to be around.
