Heyya, My name is Amanda and I'm (newly turned) 29 - although I often think I'm 27 because the last two years have just gone so quickly I can't even remember having a birthday - or eating cake which is the whole point of birthdays! I digress... Ummm my story? I'm a doctor, I deliver babies for a living which means I'm an Obs/Gynae. I have lots of different shifts incl nights which means I sleep all day. Just giving the heads up. I do have ear plugs and a face mask that says "Wake me up for food". Welcome to take that literally. I am a very (very!!!) neat person. Not like decorative pillows and towels, but I like a clean/tidy house. Yes like everyone here I'm the perfect balance between socially amazing (and make a great wing woman) and cued enough for some "me" time. Won't lie- I'm not a great cook even though I'm Italian. I mostly inherited the talking with the hands and basic culinary skills. Unfortunately I also inherited the love of actually eating food so it's a complex relationship. I absolutely LOVE Mexican. It warms my soul and adds inches to my thighs but I love it. I counter my love of tacos with broken exercise, lots of beach days and random adventures (ie shot zombies in virtual relality on Sunday!). I am very willing to be a gym buddy! Looking for a place until early next year where my job will likely take me on my next adventure. PM me of interested. I have furniture and can do a team meet up thing- or sell it all and come sans couch! Cheers, Amanda (Ok so I just read my post and realised that I made a reference to food in every single paragraph. To my defence I did write it after a night shift and I was hungry. I have literally done the literary equivalent of going to Coles and pulling everything off the shelf. I actually don't eat that much food and prefer chips not cake)
Hi guys! My name is Vivek Vyas. I'm from India. I moved to Melbourne two months ago. I did my high school and bachelors in Perth. I'm currently doing Professional Year in Engineering at Monash College. I'm a social and outgoing person who loves to talk to people. I've lived in Australia for about 7 years now so I've lived with different housemates and I never had any issues with anyone so far. I like to maintain proper hygiene and cleanliness in the house so none of you would face that problem (I know everyone hates that lazy guy). I like to play squash and travel to places around for weekend hikes. I enjoy a drink or two sometimes when I hang out with friends but I'm not a party animal. I'm not a smoker either. If you happen to have a pet, I'm pet friendly. I have a dog back home and I just love him. Just looking for housemates who are easy going, friendly and respect each other's privacy. Thank you!
Hi, this is Eddie from Taiwan. I'm 27yrs old engineer works in IT and as a freelance translator. I'm easygoing and tidy, always down for a bit of banter. I'll be studying in melb later on this year, currently looking for a place to stay from the 4th of June up to three months stay. If u still have a private room/single studio apartment, a parking spot(street parking is fine) available, please let me know and hopefully we can organize a viewing soon. Cheers! And no couples, thx!
Hey! My name is Lauren and I am friendly and easy going. I'm in my final year studying business at RMIT and have casual job in retail. I have lived in shared accommodation for the past three years so I know how communal living works and have all the usual stuff down pat (cleaning, paying rent and bills on time etc). I enjoy having a chat and sharing a meal or a few drinks with my housemates but also respect people's personal space. I love travel, coffee, dogs, exploring Melbourne (as I'm originally from Tassie), music, yoga and eating hummus. Able to move in around mid-June. Please send me a message if you have a spare room or are looking to teamup!
Hi~ I'm Merry Joy :) I'm a 2nd year university student at Monash Parkville. I'm neat, tidy and relatively independent in that I can cook for myself and can drive. I'm quiet, but am definitely up for socializing from time to time. I respect others privacy as I would expect in return and will give space when needed. I've had experience living in a student accommodation before, as well as living in a sharehouse for one and a half years. I've always payed the bill on time. Hoping to live with you soon! ~
Hey Melbourne! I'm Robin. I'm 27 (shit when did that happen). I'm from London. And I'm moving to Melbourne... Wohoo! I'm transferring over to Melbourne with work so I'm kinda hitting the ground running.. next up I just need to pick my AFL team and find a trusty Ute! I'm looking for a nice group of people to live with.. a healthy balance between socialising with each other and being tidy and respectful. I'm a friendly enough chap who likes a good chat, love being active.. keen surfer even though I suck. cycle lots, gym etc etc.... Anyway.. I've pretty much left all this to the last minute so get in touch if you would like to house me like a stray pup! Cheers.
I am a full time student and would like to find a furnished place that I can call home (but for now mainly to look for short temporary option until end of July). Looking for place within 100-300 metres from either tram 1, 6 or 19. Love to hang out with fellow flatmates but fully respect to other people privacy, differences in culture, religion and ways of life. I am a social smoker but never inside the house (Big no no).
Hey my name's Harry. I'm 22 years old and am a full-time student at RMIT. I'm from Torquay and am intending to move to Melbourne relatively soon to study a masters degree in public policy. I'm very respectful of others and always clean up after myself; I also get along with pretty much everyone and enjoy socialising. During a typical week I'll be mainly studying, going to the gym, playing video games, and having friends over here and there. On weekends I tend to enjoy either going out/seeing people, or just hanging around the house/playing video games if I'm feeling like a quiet one. Raymond is a really down-to-earth 22 yr old Canadian that is halfway through his second year of law at Melbourne Uni (so a very smart cookie in other words). Like me, he loves to have a good time but is very tidy and respectful of others. His interests are pretty similar to mine (except for the video game part). He's a really fun guy to be around with a great personality and sense of humour.
I'm friendly, respectful, clean and considerate. I'm social but like my own time too, and I understand that others do too. My dog, nugget isn't so understanding she loves to love and cuddle. Generally people who meet her love her to bits! We're looking for a place with an outdoor area :)
About me - Ive travelled for the past 8 years and open to meeting new people. i have lived with all sorts of peeps and can adapt well to others. I'm easy going and loves the outdoors, also I'm respectful of others and love a good laugh. A glass of wine or two after a long day is a nice way to relax with roommates. :)
Fun loving couple, with a fur baby (cat) named Buttons who is super friendly and crazy ! Both smokers (trying to give up!) loves a cheeky beer, watching the footy, Netflix and chillin! Joel is a roof plumber and I'm a registered nurse. Very friendly but wants own space too. Great cooks! And very clean and tidy people.
Hi, am architecture student from university of Melbourne. I try to exercise Daily. And sleep and wake up early as well. 10-6? Not a party animal but easygoing and not noisy :) am Chinese and learning English and Japanese at the moment :) tidy and clean.
Recently moved to Melbourne from the Being in the UK for two years. I'm original from New Zealand. 26 years old I work Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm so I won't be being any parties back during the week. I'm easy going and respectful who knows how to clean up after myself. I enjoy cooking and having a glass of wine every know and again. I like my own space but enjoys being social too.
Hello! I'm a 19 year old male looking for a room to rent for 6-12 months. I'm a friendly young man who loves to draw and create in my spare time, and also have a social evening on my days off. Please if you are interested don't hesitate to contact me through Flatmates or SMS/call. Thank you very much! And I hope to be hearing from you!!
I am from Colombia, I came to Melbourne just few weeks ago to study. I am a chef. working full time. easy going person. I would like a quiet place to stay and rest no smoker no pets we can cook together in my time off netflix addicted
I (Amber) am 24 and have just returned from living in the UK for the past 2 years where I met Jack, 22 who is English. We are moving to Melbourne at the end of June and are looking for a room or team up with like minded people. We are easy going and friendly people. We enjoy a drink and a night out but also a night in watching Netflix. We enjoy cooking/baking and trying new restaurants and recipes, we try and be active in our day to day life with a walk or gym session. We are both fairly social people so having someone to chat with in the evenings would be ideal - we aren't ones to hang out in the room all the time. I have previously been living with 4 boys where I had to tidy up fairly often which is not ideal. So we are looking for tidy/clean people. We are both currently unemployed with the relocation however we don't think this will be for long. Jack has been managing a bar in London and I have also been managing the same bar and have a strong admin background. If you think we might be a good fit please contact us! And apologies for the picture no matter how many times I try it won't change.
