Hi Guys, I'm moving from Brisbane to Melbourne in the new year to finish my university degree and further my career. I'm an elite hockey player, study full time finance, and work part-time, and love music, surfing and a good coffee. I have lived in a sharehouses since I finished high school, including a 12 month stint living in Belgium, and am a respectful, cooperative and fun housemate :)
I’m a student looking for somewhere to stay over the summer and first semester of 2019, I’m not looking for anything long term as I’ll be traveling for the rest the year. I’m a very neat and organised person, I don’t cook a lot, I have an Uber eats addiction instead 🙈 I spend a lot of time out of the house, at work, with friends and family or at uni and dancing but I’m always happy to share my Uber eats and watch Netflix together. A local Melbourne girl too so happy to show internationals around my amazing city ☺️
We are a couple looking for an apartment or a room in a shared house. We are friendly, fun and are always up for a chat/hangouts. We are understanding and respectful of our housemates privacy and space. We are responsible and like to keep things nice and tidy. Makoto is working full time and I (Karla) am a student. We have two cats named Gucci and Leon. We look after them very well so rest assured they won’t steal your food😹😂 nah yeah they’re lovely and would be a plus if you also have pets so they would have friends to play with😊
I’m a 24 year old female from Perth, WA. I’ve recieved a new position at my current job in fashion which is getting me on the move to Melbourne. I enjoy quiet nights during the week, going out for dinner and catching up with friends. On the weekends I enjoy going out, brunching and relaxing! I’m tidy, clean and easy going.
Hi guys! My name’s Carla and I’m a 22 year old Spanish chica 💃🏻 I just graduated in Modern Languages. I’m on a working holiday visa so I work full time. I’m tidy, hardworking, respectful and funny (at least I think I am). I love fashion, cycling, music and books. I'm always happy to hang out, have a chat over dinner and share the occasional glass of vino. I’m looking for a private room, preferably furnished and close to the city. Feel free to send me a message and I'd be happy to have a chat. 😊
Hi there, I'm Tania! I'm a pretty fun, sociable and adventurous danish girl - if I have to say so myself #SassyGirlBouncingHerHairEmoji. I'm 31 y/o - buuut, I still have the energy and spontaneousness as if I were in my 20s, combined with the respectfulness, great insights and meaningful conversations of an adult-ish 30 year old. I've been in Aus for 2 years now (1,5 years in Melbourne) and I work full time for KPMG in the CBD. Before moving to Australia I finished my masters in Digital Design and Communication from the IT University of Copenhagen, but wondered off to backpack Australia as soon as I graduated. I love love love to travel and gather new insights and experiences, being outdoors: camping, hiking etc, bake yummy treats, share dad jokes, have a cozy night in with wine and boardgames and simply to go out and explore the city whenever I can. And I definitely don't mind a good bar crawl and explore new and exiting places. I would consider myself as reliable, thoughtful and respectful - and will take great care of the place. I've been living in shared flats the last two years, so I am very considerate of my flatmates while also being tidy and pretty easy to get along with. That's about it. If ya think it could be a good fit feel free to message me :)
Hi there! I'm Lena, from Germany, working, studying full-time and looking for a place to call home for my time here. I'm looking for a nice and quiet place to come home to after work. I'm always down for a couple drinks and attempts to cook but also need my time alone.

Clean and tidy professional who can accept noisy or quiet places. Social but considerate. I have live with all genders, ages, sexual orientations, religions.. What's relevant to me is a bunch of people with a good hearts. 🙏😊
In a nutshell I'm 29, work full time, and have been living in Melbourne for 6 months after moving from Newcastle, NSW. I'm very friendly, outgoing, social and respectful. I've played sport all my life so love being active and outdoors. I enjoy weekend drinks, brunches and all round good times. Basically I get along with almost everybody and i'm very easy to live with. If you're looking for a no stress housemate that'll clean up after themselves, not be annoying but also get involved in the good times (and pay the bills), I'm it.
Hi all! I’m Eva, I'm a Nordic/USA citizen and been living in Melbourne for last 2 years. Australia is the 4th country I’ve lived in spanning 3 continents. I work as an artist in the film industry which means I often have long hours during the week (normal hours 9-6), sometimes even the weekend. I’m looking for a nice, quiet place, so no partyhouses - when I want to have fun I go out. I’m looking for a place that feels like home and not just a share house. I’m very independent and keep mostly to myself as I already have quite a busy life. I don’t smoke, rarely drink, love travel, hiking, art, photography, weightlifting, yoga and very much into fitness and living healthy. I’m an artist at heart so I might be pretty quiet during the week working on personal work. But I’m definitely up for the occasional movie night, trying out a new restaurant etc. I'm vegetarian but could not care less if you're not. I'm respectful of other people’s privacy and personal space, very aware of not wasting energy and keep things clean and tidy (no dishes left in the sink). I can also understand a bunch of languages, including Danish, some German, and some Spanish just to name a few. I work on St Kilda Road so looking for a place in the surrounding areas. Only looking for a 5 month lease - until beginning/mid May - as that is how long I'll be in Melbourne. Preferably furnished but I'm flexible on that and rent prices for the right place! Any questions feel free to drop me a line!
A bit about me - I’m your run of the mill firecracker 😛 I’m in my mid 20’s, work in advertising but I’m hopeless at promoting myself. My passions lie in arts, music, food and bevies! I’m always keen to share and exchange awesome music. I’m super chill but can also get a party started if need be. I love making new friends and listening to stories about various cultures, quirks and I recently turned vegetarian so love cooking up random amazing dishes. Saying that, I’m cool with everyone else’s food preference 🙂 Been living in sharehouses for a while so I come house trained. I clean up after myself and respect people’s personal spaces. While I work 9-5 during the week, i tend to either hang out at home on the weekends binging on Netflix or hanging out with friends at various bars around Melbourne. Love animals but sadly don’t have any pets of my own. If any of you have a pet, I’m more than prepared to be it’s best friend!! LGBTIQ friendly and very respectful of all cultures. So- let’s meet up if you’re keen. Have a bit of chat and see if we could be a good match
Hi, Leah here, I am the girl in the middle of my profile photo. I'm a cool chick. I'm young and single and enjoy that as a rite of passage. First and foremost I think it’s important and transparent to state that I am currently living in Perth and have committed to moving to Melbourne come January. Nothing has gone wrong here in Perth. In fact it’s been a swimmingly good time, now is the appropriate time to broaden my horizons and push out of my comfort zones. I have lived out of home for the past 8 years so I am well versed in share home living experience. I really want to move into a bomb share house, figuratively that is. A nice home, with people who really respect quiet time at those appropriate hours of the day but are up to getting distracted at breakfast time because the energy is high and the banter follows suit. In saying that, I understand that there is a buffering period where we move around each other somewhat silently analysing each movement and figuring out the quirks of the new housemate. I respect this dance. "Whats great about living with me"; I'm very neat and tidy and I function in a better state when there is little clutter around. Coming home to other peoples baggage in the common area is a frustrating prospect, emotional baggage included. All the people I have lived with have told me that I bring a strong homely vibe to the house, thus, creating a home. I've even had them sweetly say that when I left, their house has never been close to "Leah clean" again. I am a nurturer at heart, I have mainly lived with men and it's been a great joy to see how the other breed of human functions. I've actually always taken care of the financial aspect of renting so I guess I never actually had the opportunity to not pay rent and bills on time. Now for some maths Cleanliness + reasonableness + communication - passive aggressiveness / going the extra mile-ness = mature housemates. Also, the limit does not exist. If you get that reference then we are ready to kumbaya my lord. If you hate people referencing pop culture/movies/vines we have lost an opportunity to see eye to eye straight off of the bat, but I’m not all about that. Truely, I am a thoughtful individual who can see the pitfalls of communicating to each other through vines. I practice yoga around 4-5x a week. I am also a teacher and have been teaching privately and publicly for over a year, this (other then my family) will be the toughest thing for me to depart with, however, I am confident Melbourne will provide the goods when it comes to yoga opportunities. Hokai, so I suggest if you like the sound of me and think we will be a fit, contact me, we will chat over Skype or FaceTime if you’re an iPhone owner. It will be be helpful to get a gauge of each other and then we can discuss the more nitty gritty things, move in dates, leasing agreements, proof of identity etcetera etcetera. Also, just so nobody is screwing each other around please mention what type of kettle you have so that I know you have actually read of the important stuff. Bonus facts below: If I turn my head and look over to my mini bookshelf I can currently see these books (I have GREAT eyesight, I’m oddly proud of this considering it is outside of my control): Freedom in the Making of Western Culture Letting Go Clarity Captivating 12 Rules for Life Roald Dahl Treasury Yin Yoga The Tree of Yoga The Bible Anatomy of Stretching My most listened to podcasts are: The Joe Rogan Experience Waking Up with Sam Harris The Tim Ferriss Show Skeptic Tank with Ari Shafir Favourite youtube channels: Killtony David Dobrik Jenna Marbles Dolan Twins Emma Chamberlain H3H3 Cody Ko Daily Dose of Internet
Hey guys I'm Aelia :) I'm 27 and working as a makeup artist full time in Chadstone so have pretty sporadic hours but when i'm home I love to cook and have a few wines. I have a very excitable personality and love to chat but in saying that am super happy chilling by myself most of the time. I'm very clean especially in the kitchen and would love someone who has the same mindset and I'm very organised with money so will always pay rent/bills on time. Looking to share with preferably one other person (no gender preferance) as have been living in a large share house so looking for a bit more space but would be happy in a 3bedroom with the right space/people ☺️ must be 420 friendly Would love to be out of my place by 15th December if possible so let me know if you have a room i can come check out and look forward to meeting you!
Hi future flatmate! I've lived in shared-house for so many years so I understand the concept of sharing the space with others. I consider myself a clean, easy going, respectful and responsible person. I like to keep to myself most of the time but also enjoy having a fun and relaxing atmosphere at home. During the week, I'm pretty busy working in the CBD, going to the gym/pool after work and like to hang out with friends, family on the weekends. Love to cook sometimes and happy to share good food with my housemate. Am not a party animal and like quiet nights during the week. I've got most of the furniture for 2 bedrooms unit so you might not have to buy any extras. But if you like to bring your things, I am happy to put mine in storage. I'm looking to share a lease with another person who've got good references and happy to apply with me. Looking forward to sharing a lease with like-minded people.
I'm 33 years young, background in property law but currently working in building compliance for local government. My passions include languages, travel and gym. Sometimes I like to combine all three! During the week I tend to focus on work and gym before usually having a social weekend meeting up with friends. I'm clean, easy to get along with and don't have any enemies or crazy exes that you'll need to worry about. By way of background, I was born in the UK, raised in NZ where my mother is from and have been in Australia since 2011. I've also lived in Brasil and Ecuador. In addition to this I won a handwriting competition when I was 11 and was in the TV show Spartacus which is on Netflix which surely must count for something.
Yo flat mates, I am basically going home on the 12th December back to the UK (and then coming back) and I don't want to live in hostels anymore. I am just looking for my own room in a decent place to get into CBD and near gyms, shops etc. I am very clean, respectable, sociable and love playing sport and being active. If you want to jump in with a house meal then I'm down. I want to look at rooms asap so if this brief message sounds like you can live with me a couple weeks then shoot me a message. Peace out x
Hi my name is T'la 🤗 23yo fulltime 9am - 6pm ( office life ) . I like to think I am a pretty easy going person. I do occasionaly like to go out on the weekends but i also enjoy a quiet night in. Big sci fi fan 😇 Feel free to send me a message if you’d like to know anything more. My preferred move date would be sometime in Jan but can be flexible.
I’m a Canadian kiwi that met my partner (an Aussie) while he was backpacking in Canada. I love music, art, laughing, being outside, learning, and baking (I make some mean cupcakes!!) Rhys is into yoga, surfing, travel, cooking... We’re both outgoing people who live to meet new people and all of the experiences that offers.
Hey! I'm moving down to Melbourne from Cairns in late January and looking for a group of friendly faces to share a living space with. I'm originally from England and have been living over here for two years now. I work in hospital so keep fairly random hours, and am respectful of others need for privacy / space. I'll be new to Melbourne and am keen to build my own social life outside of the house. That said, I'm always keen for a chat over a glass of wine in the evenings, and I think it's great to have a house dinner or outing every now and then. I'm clean and tidy, and not afraid to take out bins. If the toaster breaks I'll fix it or die trying. I don't let my cucumbers go mouldy in the fridge. I come complete with my own coffee bean grinder. I think home is somewhere you should be able to chill out with a book and some music on when you feel like it, but also throw a sweet cocktail party if the need arises. If you feel the same, get in touch :)
I'm clean, I have a mild good temperament. Not interested in drama. I am reliable and trustworthy.
