I'm from England, have travelled South East Asia and now hold working holiday visa for Australia. Looking to stay around Melbourne for approx 5 months. I'm from professional background and am a respectful, clean & tidy housemate. Currently working 9-5 in CBD. Looking for a room with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. I'm looking forward to meeting new people and socialising, but not looking for a party apartment. I enjoy cooking and baking, chocolate brownies are a favourite.
We are both from Ireland just arrived in Australia in mid May. We are very social and friendly but aren’t party animals. Tidy and respectful. Would love to have flatmates to have a few drinks with in the evenings and go out and about with the odd time! Both sorting work at the moment but will likely be doing Monday-Friday jobs.
Hi, I'm a Brit on a working holiday, looking to move into a private room ASAP! Hoping to stay for around 6 months or more in the right house, but also considering short term lets while I get to know the city and secure full time work. 30 yo professional, sociable but beyond regular wild nights out these days..! Enjoy reading, yoga, health & fitness, arts & culture, science & nature... Lefty, open, vegan, and looking for similar but not at all fussy or bothered about others doing exactly as they please! Clean and live minimally in terms of possessions. Happy to provide any additional info on request 😁
I'm 26 years old engineer, who will start to work in Melbourne soon. I really enjoy to live in multinational home area, sharing experiences with different people. I'm easy going person to live with; have a regular work life; love to have fun and relax in free times as it deserves!
Hiiiii, I am Bec I’ve just moved to Melbourne from Brisbane so looking for a place with good homely feels. I work full time (corporate sell out) so would prefer a quieter place during the week but enjoy drinks, exploring new places, live music, seeing friends for food and visiting galleries on the weekends. I’d like a social house where Tuesday wines and Sunday coffee can be a thing. I also prefer the older houses with all that character and charm. I am familiar with the usual sharehouse drill of respecting others personal space and belongings. Let me know if you think I’d suit your home - look forward to hearing from you!
I am easy going, polite and pretty neat and tide. I currently rent a house which I have fully furnished with all my own furniture, so any potential housemates would only need there own bedroom furniture as I have all white goods (fridge, washer, dryer, dishwasher). But any additional furniture is more than welcome I am also a bit of a fitness fanatic, and a nerd at the same time. I have lived in share houses for over 6 years so I'm pretty easy going with most all types of people, and can have a chat with practically anyone. I am ideally looking for someone else looking for a place around this area who we can rent a house/large apartment together. would prefer someone late 20's or 30's but I am flexible on that
Hey all, my name is Gazain im 23 years old from Dubai. I've lived in Melbourne for about 3 years and just graduated, so will be job hunting for the moment. A little about myself: Im very cooperative, adaptive, easy going. I'm naturally an introvert but i do enjoy semi-usual conversations that keep things lighthearted and hilarious. I love hip hop so expect me to be blasting it through my headphones on most days. I like to gym as often as i can during my spare time so (expect a lot of meal prepping!).I like to cook and indulge on the weekendsn; and amm very LGBT+ friendly and am an occasional smoker looking to quit in the next month or so. I'm also very drug and alcohol friendly (no judgements here) Im looking forward to hearing your story and sharing a home, please contact me if i seem like the right fit!
I'm from Perth originally but like everyone there I moved over to Melbourne to try it out. I currently working part time in an office job and study law part time. I'm clean, respectful and always pay my bills on time. I can get a little overwhelmed with study and lock myself in my room but I really am always down for a good goss and a glass of wine. You can tend to find me making cocktails and singing along to Drake and Post Malone while I mention the next pair of sneakers I just HAVE to add to the collection. I'm looking for a place that I'm happy to come home to at the end of the day and be with friends!
Hi everyone, I'm Adam - Born and bred Melbournian, I've mostly lived around the St Kilda area, except when I have been travelling (36 countries) or living overseas. I'm looking for friendly housemates, a drug free home with a room of a decent size, or a team-up with someone not needing a car space. I run a small digital marketing business focusing on photography, video and solutions for local businesses. I've just leased an office in a co-working space in Port Melbourne. St Kilda Sea Baths will be where I spend a chunk of time, to swim, do yoga and pilates. Also enjoy wasting time catching up on my favourite TV shows most evenings, going to meetups or going out to see friends/family. I'm straight, single and dating - I won't be living like a monk, but I am respectful of noise. I won't bring the party home. I have some adequate cooking skills, and great food delivery ordering skills. Enjoy a beer or wine in the evening and having a chat about life, sport, politics, health - you name it. I have a setup which is better than Netflix, pretty much any TV show or Movie you could ever want, in HD is a few clicks away. I need a hassle-free parking situation whether on street untimed/permit or off-street. Happy to share or pay extra for my own bathroom, split-type air-con for hot Melbourne summers and NBN would be nice too. I'm well trained, but if we can afford a cleaner every fortnight, I have a russian lady my family uses who does a good job. If starting a new household (team-up), I can bring two nice couches, coffee table, TV, Speakers and a full suite of kitchen stuff, small dining table and chairs - just need a fridge, microwave and washing machine/dryer. If it's just in unfurnished bedroom, then I will just bring bedroom stuff. I'm looking for large older style 2 bedrooms in Elwood/St Kilda/Middle Park, or nicer more pricey places around South Melbourne/Southbank/St Kilda Rd, you can see the other suburbs that suit me on my profile. Cheers! Rental History: 5 years renting a 1BR at 62/3 Alfred Square, St Kilda 2 years renting with a friend at 10/78 Queens Rd, Melbourne 3004 3 years renting with housemates in Hawthorn when I studied at Swinburne (I was primary on the lease)
Hi, I am a Natural Healer who is vegetarian, artist an eco lover. I enjoy be in nature, create art, help to heal people. Open up their connections twards univers and their own higherselves ;)) I am looking for: *An empty private room with lots of storage if possible with a build in wardrobe. (a large room would be lovely!) *I like to have all bills included in rent. *walking distance to grocery shops and cafes since I don't drive. I have my own room furniture but might let them go depending on the condition :) **I am pretty neat and like to have clean environment at all times;) I like to notify my current apartment owner about my moving a month before ideally. Looking forward to hear:) Thanks!
I am fun and social but do like and respect privacy. I am a competitive athlete so I'm pretty healthy (but am not opposed to the occasional binge). Always down for a Netflix and wine session :) Preferably looking for a female around my age, but this is not a must.
Finished my engineering degree from RMIT and going to study MBA in July after a few years while working part time. I’m a respectful person and love to share my meals and a glass of wine when I am home. Looking for a place that I can call home rather than living in a place.
Organised, laid back, and tidy. Home cooked meals and regular exercise are important to me. I’m currently working part-time and studying full-time. I come with a cute little chihuahua/ jack russell (boy). I'll always contribute to grocery shopping and to any repairs that need to be done around the house. I can also contribute the following to any household I join: - large dining table - medium sized silver shag rug - crockeries & cutleries - small coffee table - medium size mirror - large vintage chair - (idk how else to describe it) *Preferably an unfurnished room as I have my own stuff* Being near a tram/train stop is vital for my work commitments. I love having friends over and doing some occasional gathering (would seek your opinion first tho ofc). However, I respect your alone time and your own space as well as tidying up after myself, and generally expect the same from you. Love watching tv shows and would make you watch horror movies with me. Definetly will treat you as a friend rather than a housemate. I'm very interested in teaming up with a group of people or joining an existing household, but NO COUPLES pls and preferably people under 33.
Hey potential flatties! Moving with work to Melbourne in May. Kiwi male, 29 years old, super easy going and very respectful. Keen to socialise if that's your thing too! Ideal flatmates are keen to debrief after the workday and socialise/out of the house on the weekends. Any questions please ask! :)
Hi! My name is Hyung. Looking for an accommodation preferably on Sydney rd or within 20 minutes from the CBD, from late June to 20th of November! I am 19, studying Pharmacy at Monash University Parkville. I’m a chill, easy going fella who likes to keep things clean and quite. I am a responsible human being who can clean up after oneself, and I respect other people so it is unlikely that you will get into a fight with me. I will be out 4 days a week and come back in the afternoon, but I do enjoy chatting every now and then. I play baseball and alike every ball player, I'm always up for a bottle of beer(or bottles, either way). In terms of pets, I LOVE CATS, but I also like dogs as well. Please get in touch if you are interested! Cheers Preferred move in date: 4/7/2018 Move out date: 21/11/2018
Hellooooooo guys! I'm Thomas, a 28 year old working holiday maker from the Netherlands. I arrived in Oz about 8 months ago, but I love it so much here that I'm going to extend my visa with another year. Obviously, Melbourne is the place to be hence I'd like to absorb all the good vibes this city has to offer! I'm looking for a place that feels like home with a bunch of friendly outgoing people, though I'm not looking for a party house. Are you looking for a spontaneous, funny guy to join your 'family'? Look no further and send me a message! Cheers
I am Hannah, 27 and have been living in Melbourne for the past 8 months....originally from the UK. I have been living in Elwood to be close to family but looking for a change I work for a Luxury Travel company who are sponsoring me so I can stay in Melbourne for a few more years! I love my job and like to travel whenever I can find the time. During the week I tend to be busy with work and F45, Pilates and the occasional dinner. On weekends I love to brunch, socialise, see family and chill. I am a very easy going person, sociable and very tidy...I also love to bake so think I make a great housemate!
Hello My name’s Alex. I work in health and social equity, my last job was on the close the gap campaign. I’ve just returned from a 6 month trip across Central America learning Spanish, hiking around, and living the Latin life. I’ve sharehoused all my life, very adaptable and can live with all types. I’m socialable and prefer to go to the pub with mates rather than nightclubs. I keep things clean and tidy, and very conscientious of other people’s space and things. I like to cook, but I eat out just as often, and I keep pretty fit and healthy.
Hey! I’m a Mexican girl (22 years old) who’s doing a Marketing internship in Melbourne starting this July! I lived in England for a year, sharing a flat with 5 other people, so I’m really used to sharing a place to live. I am a clean, organised, and nice girl who loves going out with friends at night, but also loves staying home and watching Netflix.
I’m a Brazilian girl, who work and study. I’m very easy going, responsible, tidy, clean and like to have my own space. I don’t have much free time, but I usually go to gym, exhibitions and I love to go to concerts! When living with others I like to enjoy the company to have a wine, but I prefer houses that aren’t “party ones”.
Looking for a room preferably in a 2 room apartment... I'm very easy to get along with and try to avoid conflict at all times. I like to keep fit during the week and do a bit of interstate travelling for work. I can quite easily keep to myself and socialise with who I'm living with when appropriate. Looking for like minded people that are settled and not looking to party every night
