In Feb 2020 I'll be returning to Melbourne after 15 months working in the USA, and I'm returning to my position as an English teacher at Monash College. I grew up in Queensland, but I've called Victoria home since 2014 and can't wait to be back. I love travel, languages, bubble baths, camping, weekends in the countryside with my family, reading, and going out with friends for a drink or two. I'm tidy without being a neat-freak. I like it when housemates become my friends, and I also love alone time in my own space. I've spent many Australian winters working with kids at a summer camp in the US, so I'm that mix of fun/energetic and responsible/mature. I shared a house in Footscray with 3 housemates from March 2015 - Oct 2018 and loved it and the area, but sadly while I was gone the lease ended. Now I'm looking for a place either in that area again or closer to where I work at Monash Uni Clayton. Being on the train line is important, as I also work occasionally at our CBD campus. For now I'm looking for something short-term (3-4 months), as it's possible I'll be heading overseas again from Jun - Aug.
Im looking for a place for at least 6 months. I worked in sales back in the UK so once I have a place sorted Im excited to get sales based work out here, but also have plenty of money saved from home to cover me for a few months if needed. Clean and friendly roommate who can appreciate both personal space but always up for a chat and catch up with other roommates.
I work full time as a lawyer (one of the good ones). I have a very charming, very intelligent dog, Cookie. We like to go hiking on weekends and are pretty quiet during the week. I enjoy a good chat and catching up with housemates, sharing a meal etc; Cookie likes to say hi and be near people but is self sufficient.

Hey there, Piers here. I’m 31 and a full time carpenter, I come with a 18month old whippet who’s always up for a cuddle when I’m not around. I’m clean, reliable and a hard worker. Not a party animal but don’t mind the odd night out either.. passion lies heavily with food and music.. so if you’re into those as well that’s a big you beauty.
