Looking for 2 super cool and nice peeps who clean up after themselves. This is for a shared team up in a large beautiful house we can call home. We have yet to find a place and would like to go for inspections together. We have furniture and are willing to do a proper set up with yours too. We could even provide you with some should the need arises. Just ask, we don't bite! :) Preferably flatmates who hate to move as we are looking for someone long term but if you know the exact dates of your arrival/departure and would like to get to know us, that's great too. Rental price will be heaps heaps cheaper if shared. $350 is just for the ad here. We are both friendly, into markets, museums and willing to attend anything interesting that Melbourne has to offer. Toby: A guy in his 30s who has got a PhD in Physics, loves good food, coffee, stinky cheese, plays the guitar just like Jimi, into Game Of Thrones, Ray Donovan, Vikings, keeping fit and he keeps to himself. Willing to socialise the minute you ask him to :) Total geek. Ask him anything techy and he will solve it for you. As for me: I'm not Wonder Woman but on some days I pretend to be her. LOL! I love going on adventures, exploring, writing, telling stupid jokes and laughing, into dirtbikes, fast cars and everything cool. I am actually looking for someone who has got a car, but if you haven't that's fine. It's just to do a big grocery shop every weekend for all of us. Yes, toilet paper is important. Don't you think? LOL! :) My weekends are spent going for a nice lunch/brunch/yum cha/dinner and going for long bike rides if time allows it. Please feel free to contact me to arrange for a meet up. Anything after 5pm/6pm is good on weekdays. Weekends are good too. We'd love to hear from you! All enquiries welcome. Have a good one. Laters. :) P.S. For those who have reached out to us, thanks heaps! Me and Toby are looking forward to meeting you!
Hey!! I'm an athlete from New Zealand, moving to Melbourne to train. I am currently looking for a place to stay as well as a job. I've traveled the world with running. I'm fun and easy going, get along with almost everyone. Excited about the move.
I'm pretty laid back as a housemate. I like living with people I get along with, people who treat housemates like they would family and are considerate - i.e. no labelling stuff in the fridge, not into the hostel vibe for a long term arrangement. I work FT and study com/law part time, volunteer quite a bit. I'm pretty social too and occasionally would have friends over.
I'm a sociable person, always down to make friends! I'm happy to spend the night watching Netflix with my roomies, or hitting the town for a good boog. At the same time, I'm respectful of other people's space and need to spend some time alone to study myself! I consider myself to be clean and definitely need to be living somewhere that's tidy and somewhat nice to look at ahaha I'll be moving with my adorable puppy, Bailey, so would need animal-friendly roommates who don't mind looking for a place with a decent sized yard. (It'd also be ace if you love dogs and help me exercise Bailey, and even more ace if you have a dog friend for Bailey). She's a very well behaved and lovely girl, always wanting some love and play time! I'm currently studying at Melbourne Uni, and need a place within half an hour of public transport to the city, but otherwise open to live anywhere! I'm in no rush to move out, just preferably before the 2018 Uni semester starts :) Feel free to hmu and we can get to know each other if you think we'd make good housemates weww thnks for reading
I'm just coming off a gap year from uni and be switching to Monash (I'll be studying fine arts and history). I'm a painter and artist though I'm not messy so don't worry! I'm into movies and playing Xbox and have a wicked board game collection so if you're into game nights then definitely hit me up! I have a nano fish tank I like to sit on my desk with a couple gorgeous fish to go with it of course. I also have my motorbike license though I don't presently have a bike so I just need a spot to park my car. Im not a huge party animal although I'm up for some drinks or just catch up over coffee! Always happy to clean and share house duties too and I love to bake. I don't know many people in Melbourne so I'm looking for a roomie and a friend to find a great little place together!
I'm 23 working in Marketing Operations. I like to fill my precious time off with great food, wine and friends. I go to the gym a few times per week usually in the morning before work so I'm up quite early. Favourite show is suits mostly because Harvey Spector is gorgeous! I also like to read non-fiction books about crime or real world issues. I do have a cat which sleeps inside at night on my bed and outside all day. If that's an issue I can give her back to my parents but if you like cats I can bring her - flexible either way! Personality wise I'm outgoing and driven. I'm not home a great deal of the time so when I am home I do like my own space. In saying that I'm looking forward to company as I currently live solo! My lease is up on the 14th of October so I need to move between the 1st-13th of October. Open to team ups! I have a whole heap of brand new furniture :) Any questions let me know :)
Hi there! :-) I'm a 25 year old Norwegian who just moved to Melbourne to do one semester of my masters in economics and business administration at the University Of Melbourne. I'm really sociable and I would love to find a place to live with like-minded people. I love to travel, explore new things and get to know new people. I'm a tidy person who is used to living with other people and respect my roommates. I'm always up for fun and I would say that I'm an easy going person. I am interested in finding roommates who would like to make dinner together from time to time, go out to grab a beer or a cup of coffee, or just chill out. If you need a new roommate and think that I could fit in I would love to hear from you :-)
We are a Filipino Couple looking for a room to stay for our placement near John Fawkner Hospital. We love to cook, eat and roam around the CBD every weekend. We are clean couple who wants to have a clean house and clean toilets. We respect our housemate because we want them to respect us back as well. We will be having our placement at John Fawkner Hospital in Melbourne on September for 5 weeks. We might extend our rent depends on the condition and situation.
My name is Esther and I’m a 26 year-old PhD student, currently studying at Durham University in the UK. I’m visiting Melbourne University for 3 months as part of my PhD (beginning of October – end of December) and am looking for somewhere to rent. I will be at the Parkville campus, so am looking for a place within walking distance of this area. I’m chilled-out, but tidy and someone who does their chores! I’m a person that likes to be outside and exploring the city. I love being active, listening to live music, reading and love a good chat! I’m looking to make friends while I’m in Melbourne, so looking for a house/flat with other people :)
Hi. I am an Irish man living in Australia for nearly 6 years. 5 and a half years in WA and just 3 months in Melbourne. I work full time as a carpenter. I live a pretty healthy lifestyle, staying fit and eating healthy. But I do enjoy a few beers and a good chat with the right people. I love to travel and stretch my boundaries from time to time. It'd be great if I could share a house with some interesting people and explore/enjoy Melbourne for what it has to offer. Most livable city apparently!!
IM SEEKING 1 BEDROOM UNIT / STUDIO / FLAT /APPARTMENT ETC. Hi there I'm 24 years old . I work from home doing admin and will be starting a course online in the next month. I'm outgoing . Chilled . Love my own space but love socialising just as much :) . I'm not like most 24 years. I don't go clubbing or anything like that. Maybe once in a blue moon. I love spending time with family and friends in my spare time. Love going to evens , the beach , long walks . And chilling out with my feet up of the evening :)
I'm easy going, and respectful of your space and things. I work full time in the CBD across various shifts (hospitality worker) and love doing some yoga in my spare time. Love the beach, and like surfing when I get the chance. Am not in any rush to move but am ready as soon as I find the right place.
Hi, My boyfriend and I are currently looking for a place to move into - either our own place or a flatshare. We are both very outgoing and simple people who love to have a bit of banter but we can also keep to ourselves if that's what you like. We would just like someone that we can get along with, instead of having to tip toe around 24/7. I work casually as a retail assistant and he works full time as a security guard. We both study full time so are generally very busy and won't be in the house all the time - would just love somewhere we can be comfortable and just enjoy ourselves. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
Hi there, Just moved down from Brisbane, where I've willingly chosen to give up the endless sunshine for the freezing cold and rainy days of Melbourne. I'm very passionate about a clean kitchen and paying bills on time as I like being organised. I work part time and study part time. My professional background is in start up management and software services. Not really into partying but I am always up for some few bevs after work. I am also a non-smoker. I don't think I'll be home too much in my spare time as I'll be out getting to know Melbourne. Other interests include making Simpsons references whenever possible and following sports, especially cricket and NFL. Yet to pick a footy team though, so I'll need some guidance on who not to follow!
I'm a very quiet person(I read, I watch my show, and I cook once or twice per week and always, always clean after myself) I've got a good sense of humor if you wanna have a chat with a glass of wine If you go eat dinner with me at Kisume, you Might get some free stuff ;) ( I work there full time) Game of Throne fan, Star War fan, foodie I make damn good pizzas
I work full-time 9-5 Mon-Fri. I am self-aware and respectful of other people's stuff & privacy. I am looking for someone to start a flat share with. I have the basic stuff necessary for a team-up washing machine, fridge, microwave, couch dining table...etc I am not the greatest cook but I clean-up well after myself. I don't mind pets and get on with all sorts. I enjoy a good red but not a party animal by any means. Please get in touch if you are looking for the same.
Hi, I am Elen. I just graduated from master degrees and i am going to find a job. I am looking for a single room ASAP. I am pretty neat, clean, respectful and easy going. Hope to share a house with easy going people, neat and clean. I always pay the rent on time, wouldn't mind to have drinks on weekend and I prefer to share the flat with people who I can call friends. ^^
Hi everyone, I would like to start by throwing some keywords that best describe me. Brazilian Jiujitsu and Salsa dancer( you'll see me most evenings training at the Academy or dancing Latin music) languages(Spanish/Portuguese) Travel ( at least once a year), surprises, sports ( play soccer on Sundays, gym and BJJ) books, last minute plans, open mind, craziness, spontaneity, going out (but also staying in), sharing, simplicity, decisiveness, flip flops (yes, the thongs), down to earth (however fantasy is also very important), , sense of humor, ambition, cooking ( cooking is love made visible) gracefulness, chivalry and inner love. I work full time in Affiliate Marketing. I am from South America but I've lived in Aus for the last 11 years - in Melbourne for the last 2 years. I am not a party person but don't mind going out for a drink or two every now and then. I am well traveled( visited 4 continents). ***BONUS*** for you Unlimited Spanish lessons Unlimited Self-defence classes Unlimited Salsa lessons Feel free to drop me a line if you need to know more :) Happy days
I'm a Master's student, majoring in Communication. I'm generally a quiet but sociable person. I'm very privacy conscious and respect others' space. I'd like a place that's kept clean by other housemates (especially the bathrooms and kitchen) and locked responsibly. I will do the same in return. I also believe in friendship and communication between housemates, and I always pay my bills on time! I would ideally like to move closer to the city (currently in Box Hill). However, I am not opposed to a nice place in Box Hill/Burwood area again. Currently moving out of a place where I've had 3 great housemates. Hope to find the same in the next place :)
I, unfortunately, work 5.5days per week both in marketing and health care. When I am not working I like to go to the gym, walking, coffee crawls and catching up with friends. I'm not one to party but do enjoy a glass or red and a block of cheese. I am a quiet and considerate housemate who pays bills and rent on time. I'm independent and chilled but also happy to have a chat, drink or bite with housemates. I am looking for somewhere with a carpark or where I can get a parking permit.
I am looking for something a little closer to work to make life a lot easier, and lessen the risks of running late to said work. I am an actor, which means I also have a random schedule when it comes to the things I need to do there. Fellow creative types are awesome, or general people who are at least interested in it. Wanting to find somewhere where I can hang out in the common areas, chill out over a wine or chocolate milk, not just ending up stuck in my room. Totally happy to team up but would want to stay with small numbers.
