Clean, tidy, never pay late. Like to socialise but understand the need for privacy. I'm starting a new job in central Melbourne in February so I am relocating from another city. I love going to musicals and shows and trying new things and places to eat with friends.
I'm a local about to begin studying a masters program at the University of Melbourne and my girlfriend is a design student from the US. We're looking for a place to stay for a few weeks while she comes down to visit. We're both pretty easy going and like to keep our spaces clean. I may be interested in extending my stay once my girlfriend leaves if the arrangement is working out. Hope to hear from you soon! :)
I'm a backpacker from England hoping to settle in Melbourne for a while. I'm easy going, tidy and like to cook, play tennis and read. I can keep out of the way as much as you'd like, and I don't really know many people in the city (or country!) so won't be noisily waking you up in the early hours after nights out!
Hi I'm Rob, a friendly and clean New Zealander, i've been living in Melbourne almost 5 years now. I'm 28 and currently working in the sports and events industries, with a busy summer lined up. Also i'm going to be studying a few more courses part time next year just to keep myself busy. I like to eat fairly healthy and try to get out riding a few times a week. I've lived out of home for 6 years now, so i know how to be considerate of others and all the house basics like paying my bills on time and cleaning up after myself without being told. Love animal's so that would be a bonus if you had any :) Prefer non smokers
Hey, I'm Megan and I'm 24. I work as a Nurse and Midwife. I'm in to health and fitness and enjoy going out for food and drinks. I'm an easy going and friendly person. I'm clean and tidy and always clean up after myself. I love to socialise but still like to have my own space.
Hi there, my name is Gemma and I am 25. I study full time (completing my Masters) and I work every other day so I am not around very much. Every evening I am at the gym so I am someone who really enjoys taking care of myself, but I do also love to have a lazy weekend and sit around and watch movies and eat chocolate. I have a small (but fat) dog named Gus. He is a pugalier and has to come wherever I go. He is very affectionate and will love anyone. I'm good to live with as I respect people's privacy but I am also fun to be around and easy to chat to.
(Initial note: I am queer and sometimes gender-nonconforming/femme in my presentation and my partner is trans, if this is an issue don't bother messaging me) I am a friendly, tidy, and responsible 22yo social science/teaching student, I'm also finding work over the holidays as I've only recently moved to Melbourne. I am always up for a chat but unintrusive, much of the time I will either be out or studying but I'm open to both independent and more friendly share arrangements if we have similar interests/get along. I am vegetarian and prefer to organise my own food, although I enjoy cooking and don't mind sharing at times. I don't currently have any furniture, however I require very little to be available (just a mattress/bed, if it's a 6+ month lease I can source my own), and can supply my own kitchenware, other than an oven/hotplates. Ideally I'm looking for somewhere with a nice kitchen and a room that fits a double bed. I'm looking for at least a 6 month lease, somewhere longer (up to a year) is no problem either. My move date is pretty flexible.
Studying and working part time. Looking for a comfy place to call home. Looking for more of a quiet house with my studies but I do enjoy watching TV and hanging around the living spaces with housemates as well. Love to talk about just about everything, I'm a bit of a linguistics fanatic if you want to get me talking!
Heyy guys!! I just moved from the family farm to the city, I work in a law firm in Melbourne's CBD. I am friendly and always up for a chat In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym and being active.
Hey ladies and gents! I'm Bethany! I'm 20 years old and have recently moved to Melbourne at the start of the year from Albury/Wodonga. I currently live in West Melbourne, however my lease ends soon so I am looking for somewhere new! I work in Docklands, so anywhere nearby or close to the city is where I'm looking, (somewhere that won't take me more than 30 mins to get to work) however I do not drive at the moment so somewhere close to public transport is necessary! I am a very friendly and easy going person. I am very social, love having a laugh and going out and doing things to keep busy! I go to the gym, and I head into the city quite a fair bit. I am also a tidy person (not OCD but i know how to be clean), and I respect other peoples surroundings. I work 5-6 days a week and on weekends I like to catch up with friends, go to the footy (go cats), or head out! I promise I am a great person to live with :) I would love to find somewhere I can call my home!
Hey, I'm Scott, and I'm making this ad on a Saturday night, while eating chicken schnitzel and drinking beer. Says it all really. I'm moving to Melbourne in January, from sunny/humid Brisbane; and I'd actually love somewhere to park my caboose at night! I'm gainfully employed, punctual with rent/bills, and respectful of space/cleanliness. I am a bit shy at first, and try not to impose on space or people or anything - but it would be great to make some new friends in town. In my free time, I kind of run the music/video games/tv gamut (if you're excited for RPDR S9, hmu), and I love to bake desserts (plus I clean up after myself). What am I looking for in a share house? I need somewhere to stay short-term, around four weeks and furnished; preferably without a bond, but happy to discuss. In a long term situation? Preferably not an old woman in a shoe type deal - 2 or 3 housemates is my max; and I don't want to live with couples or pets. Soz not soz. Other than that, I'm pretty chill, and all I ask is that my room be big enough for a queen bed and either have built ins, or room for some clothes racks.
Hi! My name's Tim and I'm a 26 year old Melbournian. I'm a professional working in the financial industry in the CBD (normal office hours). I'm looking for a room in the inner city - north or east side. I'm able to pay bond and would like to go on the lease. Ideally I'd like a house with more than one other person. I'm an empathetic person who enjoys a chat over dinner and a quiet night in during the week. Neat and tidy, I don't mind doing my share of the housework. I like to keep fit and swim a couple of times a week. Cooking is something I really enjoy and I like to have the occasional dinner party. Feel free to get in contact if you have any questions or think that I'd be a good fit in your house! Tim

I am however looking to get out of the Industry and this is likely to change after May. I am very easy to get on with and am a big believer of live and let live. I love meeting new people and socialising, however I also like to have time to my self and respect other peoples wishes for the same. I will try anything twice and enjoy most things, I have a wide and varied taste in music, food and well....pretty much everything lol. I enjoy cooking and like to keep a clean living space, however I am not anal about this as everyone has different standards. Hi! I'm just a chill girl from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, looking for other girls to share a flat with, preferably fellow international students. I'm an extrovert, but like everyone else, will keep to myself at times. I'll be heading to RMIT for industrial design next February. I've mad love for spicy food (Thai, especially), Japanese films, dessert, football and art. Music-wise, I like stuff like Gorillaz, The Weeknd, Frank Ocean, Young The Giant, Stars, Lorde, Vampire Weekend, Disclosure, Ra Ra Riot and Childish Gambino. Among many others, anyway. I'm both a tea and coffee person. The same goes for dogs and cats. I speak three languages ー English, Malay and Japanese. I'm big on cleanliness, tidiness and hygiene. My hobbies include sports and outdoor activities (like rock climbing, yoga and pilates) and lots of arts and crafts. Basically, I'm pretty easygoing and I like getting to know new people. And I really really love the beach. Hit me up if you think we'd get along!
Hi, I'm Sharlyn and I'll be starting school at the University of Melbourne. Currently, I'm doing an internship at a local PR company and traveling a little. I'm from Singapore, and am fluent in English (and Chinese/Mandarin, a teeny bit). I'd consider myself clean and tidy-ish, but not overly so. I'm an introvert, but pretty friendly and definitely open to making friends. :) Ideally, I'd prefer to have my own room in a sharehouse, and to stay with girls. I have two dogs at home (a husky named Neko and a frenchie named Oki!) so animals are fine.
Hey everyone, my lease is up in mid-jan so I'm looking for a new place to live with some lovely creatively inclined people. I'm an ex-art history student taking a gap year to work and hopefully take off travelling again before starting screenwriting in 2018. I work full time (ish) and spend the rest of my time on theatre projects, yoga, reading art biographies and crime novels obsessively and singing tragically along to 60's folk music. I've been in a few sharehouses before and am pretty tidy and respectful of all common areas. I value my alone time but would love housemates who are up for the odd bevvie. I love to cook and bake experimentally so you can reap the occasional rewards :) Looking for a place ideally with a garden as a year in boxy student accomodation has given me cabin fever, but chill with whatever 👍
A professional, happy, friendly and kind personality who enjoys intelligent conversation and spending time outdoors. I am respectful of personal space and like to live in a clean and tidy environment. Always striving for holistic health, love listening to entrepreneurial/business podcasts, and making the most of life.

I'm from Perth, but I'm currently studying in Melbourne. I'm looking for a private room in a share house close to uni, to move in around February. I am a clean and organised person; I enjoy painting, and listening to music. I like my own space - so I will definitely respect your space as well. Recently I've gotten into yoga and running around Princes Park! I'm also collecting succulents at the moment. I'm a vegetarian (but not really strict, because I still eat fish from time to time). Thanks for reading :)
Hi there! I'm looking to create a cosy share house in Brunswick/Northcote/Thornbury etc but also branching out to some of the leafier Northern suburbs such as Ivanhoe, Heidelberg, Rosanna, Watsonia, etc. A little bit about me: I'm in my 20s in my final semester of my undergrad degree at La Trobe, majoring in Anthropology and English. I spend my time hunting out new vegan brunch spots, sipping cups of chai tea and hanging out with friends. I work as a nanny for several families in the inner North and work in mental health advocacy/policy which sometimes takes me up to Sydney for the day. I'm a feminist, queer friendly and environmentally conscious, so if these are values that you relate to/respect/are interested in, that would be excellent! I'm a clean person and considerate of shared spaces. I enjoy a chat in between life's up and downs but also need time out to unwind (doesn't everyone?). I have an extensive collection of homewares (enough to furnish a whole kitchen) but very little major furniture such as a fridge, dining table etc. so if that's something you could contribute, let me know! Zara :~)

I work part time at a home organization store and am planning to get part time work while in Melbourne. I like to drink coffee, pet strangers dogs, and occasionally go out with friends. I will be studying and working so I will be away some of the time but would like to find housemates that enjoy hanging out from time to time and get along well. Please let me know if you have any questions!
I'm an Indian, currently pursuing my undergraduate study in India and will be visiting Melbourne for my Research Training at Victoria University for a period of 6 months. I'm kind, friendly, open-minded and an independent person. I love travelling and exploring new places, meeting people from cross-cultural backgrounds. I'm also a foodie! I enjoy cooking. Music gets me high. My hobbies include cooking, baking, dancing, travelling. I'm looking for kind and friendly roommate(s). I'll make sure that I keep the place clean and tidy.
Hi, my name is Holly Colvin and I'm 17 years old. I'm moving to Melbourne mid january as I am studying a 2 year diploma of dance at Jason Coleman's ministry of dance. Hi there My current lease is ending just before X-mas so I am looking to start a new one in the first week of January. I am an engineer with MBA and am working as project manager with Victorian government. I am looking for an apartment with a furnished private room preferably in Melbourne CBD and surroundings. I have been living in Australia for over 6 years and prior to that I lived in the USA for 10 years. During my initial years in the USA, I was a graduate student. As such, I am used to living comfortably with international people. I am very clean, neat and tidy and expect my flatmate to be the same. After work, I will be spending my time in gym or pool. Yes I do like cooking. Occasional visits by friends over the weekend is OK but I am definitely not looking for a party house. Apartment need to be quiet after 10 PM. If you need to know more, please drop me a note. Regards,
Hi guys ! Manami is from Japan and I am originally from France. We used to live in Tokyo and work there as a financial accountant (her) and a public high school teacher (me) but we decided to take a break away from Japan and to move to Melbourne to live and work there for about a year. We are very clean, tidy, always eager to help if you need anything and we are a very friendly and sociable couple. We have no problem living in our own space and doing our own things but we are always more than happy to spend some time chatting, sharing beers or a bottle of wine or going out for dinner. We love to cook (especially French and Japanese food), watch TV shows (if you're looking for people to watch the next season of Game of Thrones with, you just found them!), go out to try new restaurants, bike around the city or just relax. If possible, we would like to leave in a central area of Melbourne so we can ride our bicycles anywhere from there. Our ideal budget would be 300 AUD but if your place is really nice and well located, we are ready to go up to 350 AUD. We would like to move in this month but we are flexible with dates. If you would like us to be your new roommates or if you have any question, please feel free to contact us. Cheers ! Vince and Manami

I am a great housemate! Tidy, respectful, friendly and love to cook. I come with a Cocker Spaniel named Dougall who is fully trained. He just lost his sister and is very attached to me but loves people. I am looking to share with down to earth, busy people or a person. I love to socialise but also like my own down-time as I am in the process of writing a book about my juicy life so far. Lol. Hope to hear from you.
I have been living independently since my mid teens so I understand the responsibility of keeping a home clean and making sure the bills/rent are paid on time. I'm not one to shy away from chores and you won't find my belongings all over the place. I am a bit of an introvert so I like to keep to myself most of the time, but I do like to be social on the weekend and enjoy having a good chat. I have recently had to leave work to become a full time carer of my niece but now that has all been worked out, I am looking to get a job and continue my studies in a more mature, like-minded environment. I enjoy art (you can find me pretty much constantly taking photos, drawing or drafting up mood boards), I like old cinema and indie films, I enjoy 'wine nights' with my friends and going to off the wall cafes and bars though it's rare these days, and I love animals.
I'm Michael, a 23 year old seeking a chilled household that enjoys being social yet respects down time. I'm currently planning on heading back to University in 2017 to study Design at Swinburne Uni, and also work part time. Seeking a great space and company with shared values and interests.

I am a Canadian who will be coming to Melbourne to study Law. I am into music and am interested in exploring the Melbourne music scene. I play guitar generally acoustic so it is quieter and I would be mindful about what time of day I play it. I am easy going and am generally quite clean, and can be counted on the keep with my share of house responsibilities. I am a pretty sociable person and if I am around the house would be keen to hang out but I respect housemates independence and value my own alone time as well. I am a big reader and am always willing to discuss any books, current issues, culture ect. I am looking to live with laid back people who are not racist, homophobes ect and are just generally cool people. Feel free to ask any more personal details about myself.
I'm looking to secure an arrangement WITHIN THE NEXT FEW DAYS. I'm an American student attending San Francisco State University. My partner will be studying abroad at Uni Melbourne and I've come across a great opportunity to go with her. We'll need to move into a place at the end of January / beginning of February. I would describe us as studious and low key, though we do make sure we're getting out and having fun. I'm majoring in technical and professional writing and would continue my studies during my stay in Melbourne (fortunately all my classes are online). I also plan to work part-time during my stay. My partner will be busy with her studies at the university. We're in a hurry to find a place IMMEDIATELY to move into at the end of January/beginning of February!
