Friendly, responsible, and easy to get along with! After being divided by countries for years my partner and I have worked very hard to finally be together, I strive to make that permanent and create a home with them! We're open-minded to pretty much anything, but an absolute MUST is accessibility. As one of us has a disability, it is critical to our decision and our needs. A few steps are fine but a whole flight of steps would be impossible. We both love animals, though, so pets are completely fine with us! Hopefully we can work something out with you!
Hi there :) Looking for a nice chilled out home with a like minded soul. A calm happy home full of good vibes. Love libraries, books, yoga, flora and fauna, tunes, laughter. Big radiophile - listen as I potter about when at home, making and creating - ceramicing, painting - a creative soul with projects on the go :). Love eating out as well as foody adventures at home. Vibing up the healthy lifestyle - like to get out and about into the trees for adventures on foot, bike, as well as further a field. Like to give some loving to my home and contribute to a lovely space. Tidy, clean up after myself, respectful of noise and other's need for peace etc. Up for chats n hanging too but potter along doing a fair bit of my own thang :). Looking for similar human bean to coexist happily with! Cheers, D :)
Move date is flexible. Friendly and fun professional. Enjoy cooking, coffee, shopping and yoga. Trying to get more interested in gym / other forms of exercise! Social but also enjoy alone time. I do have a beautiful Russian Blue cat (indoor) who would need to come with me. He plays fetch and is very friendly - I promise you’ll love him 😊 I also have a car so would need to be able to park, on street is fine though. All the best
A little bit about myself: I'm 25 years old chilean, and after living more than a year in Sydney and a few months traveling around, I came to Melbourne for my last 3 months overseas to get the most out of it! I'm a really easy going guy, I love to chill and get to know people better. Love to share a beer, and looking to have a great time meeting nice people! I love music (we can play with my guitar if you want!), Netflix, and sports (football, tennis, basketball, gym). After being a long time traveling and living with different people, I find myself to be a respectful and fun housemate that tries to make the house / apartment feel more like home. Because I just arrived to Melbourne, I'm still looking for a job, but don't worry! It's the end of my travels so I have money saved to pay rent ;) I would love to find a place with more than 3 people (in total). I'm really use to live in big houses with a lot of people, so my intention is to be welcomed in a home! and not just to share the flat. The sooner the better!!!
I'm friendly and an extremely respectful person and resonate that your home is your castle. I also know that everyone needs their down-time (chilling out) and get people need their space. in saying that, should you wish to, I'm also always up for chat & a good convo, sharing a meal and binging on trashy tv when the times right too. I'm quite a positive person, an Avid yogi, animal lover, sun chaser and like to have good vibes and get along with people. I'm a personal assistant and studying Financial trading and investing. I'm super easy to get on with, open minded and just pretty chill in general. I'm a HUGE fan of cleaning (is that weird?) and things being tidy but my down side is i probably need to spruce up on my cooking abilities- I'm not going to lie they are far from good!! I'm a QLD girl, born & raised and looking forward to familiarising myself with Melbourne & all the wonderful things she has to offer (including the cold).... feel free to ask me any questions. Look forward to speaking with you :) Cheers T PS - I'm quite flexi on the move in date should I find the right pad
Hi! Paraguayan who has been living in Melbourne for a year and loving it. Studying counselling and have been living near Monash uni but would love to live near city. Don’t mind the commute. Friendly and love clean spaces at home to rest during the week. Would be out most of the day on weekdays. I’m currently on a scholarship from my country, so every four months I get money with which I pay all my bills. This makes it easy to pay on time. Enjoy art, good brunch, good books, sharing a beer or white wine, exploring Melbournes amazing spots and the occasional Netflix binge :)
Hey! I am a full-time student in Unimelb who also works part-time. I come originally from Estonia. Why I would be a great housemate: - Sharehouse-trained (Have been living in sharehouses for the last 3 years of my life) - Social, but considerate, I respect housemates' privacy - I have an income, so I won't struggle paying rent. - Active (my hobbies include hiking, different types of sports) - Curious (I'm into reading and studying) - Chilled, easy-going (I don't complain a lot) - Tidy (I clean up the mess after myself) - Adaptive (I can adapt myself according to the vibe in the house and the people living there) - Great sense of humour (I like to keep it positive even during the more difficult periods) If you want to get to know me better or have any questions, do not hesitate.
I’m a French working visa and I finished my law school. I am currently searching a flat in Melbourne. I am clean, funny and highly respectful! I love movie, music and food! I want to stay few months in Melbourne to improve my English and discover this city! I am easy-going Cheers
Heya I'm Portia :-) I’m looking for a room in Brunswick or Coburg, with a lease start date from early to mid March. I like to read, practice yoga, go on walks / hikes, cycle, go to gigs, watch films. I’m doing honours in philosophy at unimelb. Always up for a chat over wine, dinner, or coffee but also equally happy doing my own thing. I'm pretty relaxed, I like my home to be tidy and chill so I’m looking for someone similar.
I’m a very chill and respectful person. I’m looking for a house with a good atmosphere with people who are up for making dinner together or having a drink from time to time.
My fiancé and I are seeking to live in a clean, easy going, respectful and reliable person/s in the Inner + Eastern Suburbs starting from March. We will be coming from Denmark (that little charming northern European Scandinavian country, home of Princess Mary, dedicated bicycle lanes, Lego and the little Mermaid) where we have been living the last couple of years to transition back to a slightly different life so that my fiancé can commence her PhD research held between both Denmark and Australia. A little about us: Anthony, 34 originally from Melbourne, living in Copenhagen these last years with an eccentric background with both technical and hands on skills, Trained furniture/cabinet maker, lover of nature and enjoys cooking. I also tinker with making electronic music once in while and like to practise a form of yoga and Meditation daily. Mette, 29, Danish, writer+researcher, loves to dance and has worked as a part time yoga + dance instructor, also a nature lover and currently a PhD student holding a Masters in Public Health. Aside from being fluent in her mother tongue (Danish) she speaks fantastic English as well as Spanish and German and is passionate about doing all things good for the world. We don’t drink or smoke and are all about clean fun. We are looking for a home, not a party house with some space to relax and co-create in after a day's doing's. We aim to live a peaceful and low waste lifestyle and looking for folk who would like to create a home with people sharing similar views. We are Vegetarian/Vegan mix, who would prefer to live in a meat free home but not absolutely essential so long everyone respects everyones lifestyle choices. Ideally somewhere with a little garden would be nice where we can all mingle, share a meal and have a laugh in and around everyone's daily doings :) that said Mette is able work from home some days so finding a home where that is possible would be best.
Hi there! My name's Belinda, 29 years old and I have been working and travelling overseas for almost two years around Asia for an NGO. I am back in my hometown of Melbourne for work before I fly off wherever my job takes me next. During the week after work I love nothing more than to unwind at home and either binge watch a show or documentary on Netflix or read. I also love to learn new things, currently learning Mandarin, so you will probably hear me horribly butchering many a Mandarin phrase. I enjoy baking a lot, not very good at it, but I enjoy it thoroughly and it helps me to relax. Be prepared for lots of muffins or some sort of roast concoction. On weekends I enjoy my sleep-ins thoroughly but I also love to explore. Especially new suburbs and discovering new hangouts. I'm a huge museum and art gallery type of gal, so on most Sunday's I will most likely be out exploring a bunch of them around town. I'm not really much of a loud party girl, got that out of the way a long time ago! But I enjoy hanging out with friends at a laidback bar or cafe, or exploring and finding new eateries or hangouts. I also suffer from recurring migraines, so on a few occasions I will be passed out in bed waiting for it to pass. I try not to let it get in the way of life, but some episodes are worse than others! Whilst I do love a good social occasion, I also value my own downtime and you will usually find me in my room reading, listening to some old jazz or 80's hits, learning to meditate or doing some new workout that I discovered on YouTube (trying to get more fit and drag myself to the gym, but babysteps!) During my travels I have shared places with some amazing people and would love to continue that here in my awesome hometown. I absolutely love meeting new people from all backgrounds and walks of life and I always respect whatever space I'm in and those around me. Whilst I'm not OCD about keeping things super clean, I definitely like a tidy and organised place and will always contribute my share towards that. Huge bonus if you have pets as I am a huge animal lover and will treat them as my own.
I am easy going, funny and love a good chat. I enjoy cooking. I come with a 5.5 year old dog who is lovely, very well-behaved and adorable. I enjoy going to concerts, exploring the outdoors and exercising. I drink occasionally and i'm always down to check out a new spot!
My partner and I are looking for a room to move into, ideally as soon as possible. We have both just moved to Melbourne from New Zealand and are working full time. Both of us are currently working in hospo. We are 18 but have a lot of renting experience so can provide references if wanted. We are still in the stage of exploring the area so we will be out of the house often but would also love to get to know whoever we are living with. My partner loves to cook and always makes a lot so we would be more than happy to share a meal or two whenever you wanted. We are both quiet, clean and respectful of other peoples space.
Hey, I'm a friendly, smiling girl from Finland. I'm tidy and I like keep things organized. I'm not a party person, but I'm always happy to chat over a cup of coffee, making new friends. :) I'm going to work as a barista and attend acting classes. I love dancing lindy hop. Looking forward to hearing from you. :) Cheers, Johanna
Love gardening, being clean, love a quiet house, cooking is a passion of mine, I have pet chickens that I can house at my mums if need be but they are great friends! I mostly just study and play video games :)
Hi! I’m a Spanish student looking for a room for 4 months. I’m a reliable and easy going person. I’m not at home most of the time because I like to explore and go out in the city, but when I stay at home it’s because I’m studying or just chilling.
I’m French and a future student at the University of Melbourne. I'm enrolled in their master in international relations. I'm tidy and respectful. I've no experience in sharing an accommodation. However, I used to have my own flat and it was always well kept. I've always paid my rent and bills on time. I like drinking beer or wine (WOW, a French that likes wine, it's so original) but I never drink more than one or two glasses. I'm very far to be a party person. I enjoy reading books and I like strategy games. I'm looking for an accommodation close to unimelb. I'm also open to a team up.
Hi I'm Mirjam. I'm originally from Switzerland but have lived in Melbourne for 1.5 years. Because of work back in Europe, I had to give up my old apartment. I am now moving back to Melbourne for my last semester at Uni Melbourne and looking for a flat. I'm clean and tidy and very respectful of each other's space. I would love to be friends with my flatmates but also happy to keep to myself. I'm social and love a netflix night or a glass of wine now and then but also happy to have my quiet time. My free time I usually spend outdoors, at the beach, brunch or doing sports (gym ,climbing, etc.) I don't bring any furniture, only some clothes and personal belongings. Hobbies are gym, climbing, reading, travelling and spending time with friends.
I'm an open-minded and friendly girl from Germany planning on moving to Melbourne with my Australian boyfriend soon. We're looking for reasonable housing and nice people to live with. We're pretty easy going and do appreciate friendly and helpful people a lot. We always love to share adventures, cook food together or just chat. Moreover, we're happy to help in any ways we can or to just leave you alone when you need your privacy.
Hi, I'm Natalia! I'm half British half Slovak, in Australia until 2020 (at least). I'm 24, work in hospo, pretend I want to get into comedy, love gigs, eating out, op shopping, cycling, wine and people. I'm very approachable! Cons: will not cross the Yarra river (stuck in the northside).
Just moved from the Gold Coast, transferred with my work, which is full time. I like to hang out watch Netflix, chat, have the occasional drink etc. I enjoy hiking and playing piano now and then. I spend a lot of time working on a few screenplays, so will often be in my room doing that. Looking for a room in a share house with cool people. Single, no pets.
