So long as my flatmates are respectful, do their fair share chores I am happy to live with anyone. I like getting out of the city, walks/hikes, scuba diving, camping, adventures etc. I am definitely have a work-to-live mentality and I treasure my weekends. I also like going out for the odd drink/night out dancing with the girls. My wishlist for a house includes genuine roommates, an indoor toilet (I know this from experience), and a gas stove top (ideal but not necessary). Other than that I'm pretty relaxed. BONUS: My mother has a Costco membership and I have her spare card so we can use it to buy toilet paper in bulk.
Hi Guys, I've been in a 4 bedroom terrace house in Carlton North for the last 6 years, however sadly the house is disbanding as the landlord wants to take the place back so am now on the search. While keeping my options open am still mainly looking in Carlton North because I think the area is pretty great. So I guess a bit about me... I'm currently working as a DevOps Engineer (an IT guy) at a tech company in town. Am originally from Adelaide, however have been in Melbourne the last 6 years and did a few years in Perth and the UK before that. Am really into wine/beer/coffee, love jazz and get to quite a few gigs, and admittedly like to watch a bit of cricket and football. Have also taken up skiing while being in Melbourne and just about to head off on a Japan snow trip which I'm really looking forward to. Anyway if I look like I may be a good fit for a room you're looking to fill please let me know! Cheers, Mike
Hi there, I'm 25 Polish girl looking to change the location soon. I'm working full time in hospitlity, back in Poland I've been completing my studies in economics and working little bit in profession. I found it quite boring though and that's why I ended up here in Melbourne for some time eventually. I believe I'm pretty laid back, easy to get along with, definitely not intrusive. I'm into good book, music - I'll be learning to play piano soon (not at home:) ). All in all I'm quite active, not occupying my room too often. Would like to land in a house with a good vibe to feel little bit like home.Flexible with rent duration, but 3 months is a minimum stay. The only condition is more or less convenient location with public transport going straight to the city in the nearby. Pm me if it feels like we might get along well! Cheers :)
I work full time and play/ teach music. Pretty busy most evenings and weekends but also love to chill at home and retreat for balance. I'm pretty neat and tidy and enjoy a good chat. I enjoy yoga, music the arts, seeing live shows. Not really a party person, like to consider myself consciences to others and hope to find like minded flatmates.
Hey I'm Gianni - Relaxed, mature age (32) full time Botany Honours student at La Trobe, work as a casual TV/film extra and as a casual leather furniture repairer. Born and raised in Melbourne. I am also receieving AUSTUDY which means we can get a 17% discount on electricity bills if I move in with you. In 2013, I quit my office job of 10 years, sold my house and moved to South America where I volunteered on farms and produced a short film in Colombia with local students. I have also backpacked through Asia, Greece and Mexico in the past. I have been living independently and with housemates since 20yrs old. I keep things tidy and respect others and their property. I know how to cook, wash dishes and clean toilets etc., and am willing to learn the house rules/methods. I'm capable, honest, reliable and a good listener. I'm handy with computers and in the garden - I would be happy to assist with any home garden projects :) I am friendly with all animals and have lots of experience setting up/maintaining large aquariums :) I dog-sit my sisters Neopolitan Mastif every now and then. Overall, I have a cheerful, social, positive attitude and am mindful/respectful of the freedoms of others so I tend to get along well with like-minded people who have aspirations or keep busy . I'm looking forward to meeting you and good times ahead., so feel free to contact me -happy to share any information you require :-) Things that are important to me: After many years of the fast & loud lifestyle, these days I tend to prefer a chilled environment. Most of my time is spent in the lab, including nights, so I probably wont be around too much anyway, but when I am, I'm pretty comfortable being social or having alone time. The basic, common sense things are important to me because they provide a base on which the rest can be built. For example, if housemates are generally caring and respectful to each other and prepared to pitch in equally and keep communication flowing, then it creates a very nice and inviting vibe in the home. Who knows what good things may come when there is a common understanding and trust. Regarding Food, Furniture and Appliances: Although I like to have shared/communal meals, I probably won't have time to participate in that this year while I'm doing Honours, so I will prepare my own meals as per usual. I have an appreciation for all types of cuisines and I will eat just about anything because I have no allergies! I keep a simple but healthy diet by eating a variety of foods and lots of fruit and veg. As far as appliances go, I have: a pretty much new 520L Kelvinator Fridge that is in excellent condition a 6.5kg top loader washing machine also in very good condition a toaster, sandwich press and rice cooker. I also have some kitchenware, plates, bowls, pans etc. And a 50' Plasma TV (but not sure if I'll keep it) As for Furniture, I have a queen bed, desk and bookshelves for my room and a 2 seater plus chaise lounge (can be stored or sold if not needed). Other than that I have some pot plants and a couple of mountain bikes. I'll adjust what I bring over depending on the area and shape of the room I move to :)
Hi potential future-flatmates!! I'm from Hobart, Tasmania, and I've just moved to Melbourne for university (UniMelb), so I'm hoping to find a place in that area somewhere. I play hockey and I also do a bit of orienteering (bonus points if you don't have to google 'what is orienteering'), and I've got a bike to get from A to B. That makes me sound quite a bit more energetic than I am, but I do have my lazy moments (trust me). Also, if you want a pub-buddy, then look no further! Say 'beer' or 'wine' or 'alcohol' and I'll be there with bells on. Same goes for coffee. And food. And overseas trips. I hope that I'm easy to live with, I do chores and I generally clean up after myself. I listen to music a lot, especially when I'm studying, but if you don't like that then thats why I've got headphones. I don't mind moving into a non-furnished place, but if its furnished, then, well, what a bonus. I don't smoke, I love animals, I'm not a morning person, and I eat almost continuously (but don't worry, I wont eat your food). I like sitting down for a Netflix marathon, and also occasionally having house dinners. I've ticked 'working part-time' because hopefully I will have a casual hospo job by then (anyone know of one going..?) but I am currently unemployed, unfortunately. Also flexible with moving in dates and preferred length of stay. Hopefully my rambling has convinced you that I'd be a cool person to live with! If you think so just give me a yell and we can meet up!!

I'm freelancing in interior styling and design, an artist, Christian and attend church weekly. Love watching movies, reading, painting, crafts, warm sunny days in the park. Great at keeping a place clean, and not too noisy. Looking for clean, sensible and respectful flatmates to share a laid back home with.

Hey people, Soo, Im a gay 25 year old male. I was a chef for 8 years and went on to manage a nightclub for 2 and coming into this year gave up both professions to undertake a bachelor business at the Australian School of Management. I know work part time to keep extra cash flow and am a full time student on Austudy looking for a somewhat mature environment to move into. I have a 3 month old kitten named max who I would take full responsibility for to the extent of even forfeiting a higher bond should it be necessary. He is an inside cat but he's very little and he's my best friend, and well looked after and he will be desexed and odour free I promise. I enjoy cooking, music, wine and the company of friends to chat. Drama is hopefully something we can leave a majority of in the past now I'm getting a bit older and diplomacy will ideally prevail in the event of any miscommunication that would occur. I am coming from my own 1 bedroom apartment that was furnished so although lacking somewhat in substantial furniture, I am happy to mingle as well as have to spend a fair bit of time in my room studying.
I've been away from Melbourne travelling around for the past 8 months but I'm ready to call Melbourne home again. I'm a 28 years of age chilled out hippy gay dude who's main drive in life is happiness. I enjoy summer time, travel, yoga, cooking, painting, music, meditation and Sunday brunch. Im always up for long conversations over a home cooked meal and a glass of vino or too. I'm clean and respectful of other people's space and belongings. I pride myself on paying bills on time. I find myself easy to get along with and love meeting new people. Peace.
I'm a 26 year old junior doctor looking for a place with 1-2 other housemates. I enjoy spending time with friends/family, staying active with running/gym/yoga, reading and watching docos/films. I'm an easy going, clean and considerate house mate that will always pay bills on time.
I'm very respectful of people and their property, super clean! I enjoy socialising with others a good sense of humour, but do like some personal time and space. I enjoy photography / film production and most creative outlets, I'm very reliable and trustworthy! If anyone would like to meet up to make sure we are compatible to live with don't hesitate to get in contact Thanks, take care! Ryan Kennedy
Hi I'm Gabbi :) I am a digital marketing assistant, who enjoys cooking and being active. I work normal 9-5 hours and my work is located in Bulleen. I drive to work everyday so a car space or street parking would be great. I am an easy going person who loves a catch but also likes to chill-out in my after a long stressful day at work.
We're 20 years old and both working full time. Corey is from Melbourne, and Ellena is English. Corey is a 3rd year apprentice chef and Ellena works in cafes, but will shortly be going away to do her farm work to gain a second year on hr working holiday visa. We both enjoy travelling, Corey loves cooking and Ellena can often be found doing various crafts.
Hello! We are a couple, in our late 30s, currently living in Fairfield. We like eating out, the cinema, going to concerts, cycling, and travelling. We're pretty tolerant and easy going. Neither of us smoke.
Hello everyone. Currently looking for a new place to call home for myself and my fluffy feral grey feline sidekick, Earl Grey. I work part time at a theatre (can get you free tickets!!) and part time as a semi-pro freelance composer and musician. I am well house trained as although I am fairly young I have been living in sharehouses since the age of 17 in a variety of setups and environments. I am LGBTQIA+ friendly, 420 friendly, and very open and caring. I keep myself pretty busy between work and musical commitments, but I am always down to share a meal and or a glass of wine together. I am not looking for a party house, and I really enjoy my downtime while also being quite social. I play the piano alot (I am told it is pleasant) so it's best if you like music. Naturally a clean person by nature and quite enjoy doing chores. Happy to subscribe to a cleaning roster but also more than capable of making a house work without one. So I am essentially looking for some nice, friendly people to live with and hang out with, in a house that is not too far from the city by public transport. A garden would be a bonus too as I have some plants and my cat likes to frolic amongst flowers haha. Look forward to hearing from you.
Hey, my name's Matt, I'm 23 years old and currently working full time in E- commerce for a clothing and footwear company (yes, that means I have the added bonus of cheap clothing and shoes hookups). I love catching up with friends, drinking too much coffee, eating too much food and doing audio production work. I'm all for having a few beers and a boogie, but also love quiet nights in. I spend a large part of my weekends Djing in restaurants, beer gardens and lane-ways, mostly playing lounge and funk music. I'm currently living in Northcote and completely in love with the north side of the city, however, open to other suburbs if the right fit comes along. I've lived in share-houses for the past 5 years and love living in a clean homely place. Would love to move in with people that will turn into good mates, with necessary banter. I'm always willing to do my fair share, can 100% guarantee that I will always pay the bills on time and know how to be respectful of peoples personal space. I can provide assorted household goods if anyone needs anything. Looking to move before the end of the month. I'd love a chance to meet or grab a coffee. Feel free to shoot me a message with any questions :)
Hi. Im a single 50yo male. Looking for a room in a share house on the South Morang train line. I am clean and respectful. I enjoy cooking whether in a kitchen or on the bbq. I will have to give one months notice when I find somewhere suitable. Cheers Rob
Hey! We're a young couple who loves to play video games, go out and be social. We're clean, enjoy cooking and love animals (but have none of our own). I'm working casually and will be returning to uni in a few months, so we are looking for a place where we can hang out during the day, binge watch some netflix or make some cookies. We don't mind a bit of housemate interaction but respect privacy of others. Bonus points for a dishwasher, heating and aircon. We come with our own bedroom furniture so we're flexible about furnishing. Slide into our dms ;)
My name is Claire and I'm looking at moving closer to the city after being out at Pakenham for a year. I first moved to Melbourne about 5 years ago. I am currently working part-time for a signal engineer and need to travel to the city quite often, so ideally I'd like to live near public transport as I don't own a car. I'm quite reserved with strangers but once you know me, I'm much more out-going. I'm quiet and I don't go out late. I'd much prefer a relaxing night spent watching movies. I enjoy yoga, going to movies and watching AFL. I'm looking for a like minded person to share with, who is clean and respectful of each other's personal space. I also have a rag doll cat who keeps to herself.
