Hello There! We will be moving to Sydney from Brisbane mid-late January and will be looking for a furnished room in a share house or granny flat. We would prefer our own bathroom but are happy to share in the right place. A bit about us ... Rowan is an environmental consultant and I am a (newly graduated) urban planner, we are moving because I have been lucky enough to get a graduate job. We have both lived in share houses for 6+ years so are completely used to pitching in with cleaning. We are friendly, social people who are happy to chill out but also like time to ourselves. We also have two pets, an indoor 4yr old cat, who is very chilled and affectionate. And a 5yr old golden retriever who is very well trained and very lazy, he is used to a fairly small yard and after his morning walk generally sleeps/eats all day. I am willing to pay a pet bond if required - but if you can not allow pets we have arranged for our fur babies to stay with family. Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you would be interested in us as roomies :-).
We are in our late 20's, both working full time (fairly long hours!). We're social, tidy and respectful of others we live with. Looking for a vibrant place to live and hopefully meet some new friends along the way! I'm into guitar, sports and anything outdoors. My girlfriend enjoys cooking, photography and outdoors. We have a little pet bird (conure) with us, she's quiet and very entertaining.
I'm easygoing and friendly, but I respect other's space and privacy. I'm tidy, quiet and clean - and happily do my share of the house and garden chores. I'm looking for a peaceful, friendly house, maybe sharing a glass of wine, even a meal every now and then, but I don't want to live in a party house. I like to socialise with my housemates, but also like my own space. I watch the odd program on TV, but I'm not glued to it. Also, I'm a non-smoker and my preference is to live in a non-smoking house. I have two beautiful pets - a 5yr old border collie called Mr Finn who is super friendly (everyone that meets him falls in love with him!), well behaved and I keep him clean and well groomed. I also walk him at least 2 hours a day and take him sheepherding now and then (!) so he's quiet and relaxed when he's home. I also have a 7yr old cat called Kitwe (named after a small town in Zambia) who pretty much sleeps and eats and has a playtime every now and then. They are inside/outside pets, so they need to be allowed into the house. I'm currently working part time (online from home as a VA) and studying part time, as well as building my own business, so I will spend a fair amount of time doing my own thing. I'm looking for either a share house with only one or two other housemates, or a garden cottage/studio. I also need a garden that is fenced so my pets can spend time out there safely. I have great references, both in Australia and overseas. I've lived in my current place for 18 months, and previously in my own place for 5 years (overseas) and in Australia before that. I have shared before (I'm sharing now) and I'm still great friends with some of my ex house mates. I'm originally from the UK (a long time ago!), but I emigrated to Australia nearly 30 years ago, after spending many years mostly in South Africa. If you want to ask me any questions - send me a message and I'll reply as soon as I see it! Thanks!
I am single, quiet, hard working and not a party animal. I don't smoke and I am extremely respectful of other people's property. I enjoy staying fit and healthy and spending time with friends and family. I do have a 3.5 month old cat named Odin and was looking for a granny flat or studio to live in without a roommate as I'd prefer to live alone. I can afford $350 maximum. Please let me know if you have anything can may suit my description. Thank you
Relocating from Perth to Sydney for work. Easy going lad. I will be spending weekdays working in North Ryde starting a new job. I'm pretty social and have lots of interests. Weekends I'm usually out and about/partying. Weeknights I keep it pretty tame and spend a lot of time on Netflix/Gaming. Very clean and respectful of house mates privacy. I don't know a lot of people in Sydney so if there is some social house mates willing to show me around the city that would be a bonus. I'm a home owner myself and handy with maintenance etc. Currently living in a Perth sharehouse with 3 under 24's and have lived in many share houses in the past. Flying to Sydney on the 1st Feb and looking for accommodation as close to this date as possible. I'm a car guy and usually have 2 cars so need somewhere that can accommodate that. Chow. this is the bump line with useless information used to bump me to the top of searches :)
I have rented for the past 2 years I've been in Sydney with my boyfriend, we have rental references and are clean, respectful non smokers who (despite our age) are responsible in every aspect of rental living. My boyfriend and I both have full time jobs, Angus as a landscaper and myself as a childcare educator. I will be moving to Newcastle in late Feb to further my qualifications at Uni and Angus will be continuing stay at our new house share. Please don't let our age scare you off! :)
Hey, I have been living in Sydney for almost 1 year and still would like to know new people. I always keep things clean and tidy and I'm also friendly. Would love to find a place with great atmosphere and always happy to have a chat and do things with other housemates. If you need your own time, I will stay out of your way. I work full time Monday to Friday so I'll be hardly home. Would prefer to find a place that has airconditioning and is close to the train station or buses that come regularly.
I love my fitness almost as much as I love ice cream. Love traveling and I'm very organised/clean. I have lived in Sydney for a year now and grew up on the Gold Coast. I was born in South Africa. I'm currently studying criminology & education at Macquarie university. I love everything marvel and I am a Michael Jackson fan. I think I'm very funny but my friends probably just laugh at me. I'm told I am passionate, caring and a good person. Or they just like my banana bread and they worry if they don't say that I won't make them any. I am Christian but I am open minded. I would never force my beliefs on anyone and I am a good listener. I don't mind drinking but I see it more like an opportunity to dance. I do love to dance (I think I'm great at that, most likely not though)
Hi, I'm from the Netherlands and I am coming to Australia for an internship of nursing. Because I'm working in shifts I like to live with someone who is considerate about this (of course I'll do the same for you!). I'm friendly, fun and good company! I love to eat and to socialize, so I will always be up for an nice evening of cooking and wine! But I'm also fine by watching some series in my room by my own. I've been to Sydney before but I would love to discover some new spots there!
Hi there! I'm Jenny, 20 years old. Currently working full time in Olympic Park as a waitress. Ideally would like to live in a clean apartment/room roughly about 10-20 minutes from the City by train and 5-10 minute walking distance from the train station as I will be studying Communications at UTS this year. Enjoys Australian music, going on adventures and binging on Netflix :) I am a clean and tidy person who respects other peoples space, and also good to have a chat once in a while!
I have just moved to Sydney from the UK and am looking for a place to stay until I find my feet. I am working in Greenwich as a full time Dementia Consultant. My hobbies include photography, going to the gym and drinking coffee. I also enjoy home cooking, watching good films and sharing a bottle of wine (or 2). I will make a good flatmate because I am reliable in paying the rent and bills. I will also be respectful of your home, your privacy and need for space.
23yr old looking for a place to live, my current roommates are getting married so i need to find a new place. I work full-time and not home 4 days a week (mostly weekends). fun outgoing girl who loves to relax and spend time at the beach. looking for 1 year plus stay.

I respect privacy of others just as much as I expect them to respect mine. Very neat and tidy without crossing the normal limits.. lol I'm new to town so will appreciate all the advice I can get at the beginning and hope I can meet a nice roommate to click with.. cheers.. Majed
I am starting work in Pymble so looking for a room in surrounding areas. I am a quiet female who enjoys my own space and also likes to socialize with others. I am clean and respectful and am well organized and take pride in my surroundings. I will be working full time and will be away from the place for the majority of the day when my full time work starts. I am from Ireland and moved to Australia 5 years ago. I also have my own bedroom furniture which includes a queen bed and other furnishings so looking for an unfurnished room
Reason for the move: I'm going to be starting a new job in Pennant Hills on the construction of the underground tunnel in 4 weeks. I'm moving over from Perth. I have quite a bit of furniture. Big 65" TV, all bedroom furniture (queen size bed and 2x chest draws), few pots and pans etc. I have a car and will require a car space or street parking is fine (hopefully no added expense) About me: I'm 33, single, and work in the mines FIFO. I'm looking for a change and back into my career of digital records management. This happens to be in Sydney. I'm looking for a place that is neat and tidy. I don't drink, and am pescatarian. Love to cook. Enjoy going to the gym, keeping active and spending time at the beach. I also like to watch Netflix and chill on weekends. Not looking for a party share house although I do love to go out and watch live music and hit up gigs and pubs. I like drinking cups of tea and chilling out most nights. I'm living in a share house now (I'm the owner), I'm very respectful of rules and quirks of the household. I'm looking for a pet friendly house. The other housemate: I have a beautiful pug Bee Bee. He is 5yo and is very house trained. Pugs suffer in the heat so he would be an inside pooch for the most part, hope that is ok. Super friendly, great with kids and other animals. Can bring my own portable dog door so he can come and go in the house to outside. The dog is my responsibility and I take full care of him. He may greet you with unsuspecting slobbery and cuddles as he is a friendly little guy. I'm a pretty normal person moving over to start a new career for the next 2 years. If I sound like someone you might be able to live with hit me up :)
I would love to find someone (either female or male not fussed) to get our own place. I already have enough furniture to furnish a place excl your room. A bit about me - I am laid back and enjoy a glass of wine at the end of the working week. I am very flexible in terms of living arrangements just that I need to be near transport to get to work in the City. I love baking and enjoy playing netball. Im looking for something long term Let me know if this sounds appealing to you.
I am Joint-PhD student from Germany, enrolled at Macquarie University and at the University in Hamburg (Germany), where I currently live. Every year, I return to Sydney to conduct the experimental part of my PhD research. I am clean, tidy and very responsibly. In my freetime, I work as a volunteer youth leader in international camps for kids and teenagers. I also love to cook and live a healthy lifestyle - no smoking, no excessive partying.
I pay rent on time. I am clean and tidy. Respectful. Chilled and easy to get along with. I love a good laugh and can hold a conversation. Social but not a party animal, still love my quiet time.
Just finished my university degree in Brisbane and have been lucky enough to find a Job in Sydney. I'm a very easy going person and would fit into almost any house hold. I like to think of myself as a social person and am always up for anything if i have the time. I am very considerate when it comes to cleaning and looking after the house and always down to hang out or give you space if you need it. Excited to explore Sydney and meet new people! Move date is also very flexible.

We have a friend who is interested in moving with us but is reasonably happy where they are now.
Moving to Sydney for work. I'm tidy, reliable and a decent cook (if I do say so myself). Looking for housemates with an apartment or meeting other people who'd like to team-up to get an apartment. Guys/girls, it doesn't matter - as long as you're friendly and fun to live with.
I am looking for some place where I can have a relaxing evening after a long day of work. Love cooking up dishes but have to admit not always the best. I enjoy travelling and exploring new places, even if its just within Sydney... there's always something to see! I like having a quiet night in and just relaxing with a good book or a movie! Not really a messy person! Would like to find a place with flatmates that are relaxed, respectful and Social.

Hello! My name is Samantha and I am an Australian living in Sydney at the moment looking to move out. I have lived by myself before and look forward to meeting new people from different backgrounds, cultures and sexualities. Mind you if we're both Australian then there's nothing wrong with some snags on the barby! I am not a party animal and often I will either be working or studying at University. I am in the final years of my degree, looking to move out and spread my metaphorical wings. I come from a background of English and Spanish descendants and happy to help around the house and I am very respectful of other room mates. I am easy-going and friendly, although because I like to read I can be mistaken as being rather shy at times. I like to relax after work either with others or with a good book. I like to cook for others including myself and pride myself on cleaning up the kitchen afterwards. I think the housework chores ideally are taken on my everybody and I am not impartial to celebrating life special moments, for myself and others. I look forward to hearing from you and I hope you're having a great day. See you soon, roommate!
Hi, my 16 year old dog and myself are looking for a lovely quiet home. I'm brand new to Sydney and looking to find a relaxed, mature and friendly household to fit into somewhere on the north shore. I'm outdoorsie and generally pretty active (hiking, mtb, snowboarding) , although I also really enjoy my time at home with a book, movies or gardening. I don't drink or smoke, and prefer a non-partying household. I'm clean and responsible, skilled in taking care of a sink of dishes or on the vacuum cleaner. Looking forward to the move to the big smoke. Can provide references. cheers :)

A quiet cinematographer who doesn't drink, smoke, pick-up, or eat bad asian food. Yes that's right -- I'm asian. Just like the stereotype, it makes me a nerdy, play ps4, on the computer, responsible type that mainstream media has allowed us all to enjoy. However if required I am capable of bringing out the Senor Chang and creating funny, banterific, meme-tastic and lovable moments. I am capable of excellent d&m's or straight s&!t talk. I enjoy long walks on the beach, TV, movies, chilling the shit, and have a wide variety of interests that allow me ability to converse in many topics. Examples: what a lovely arabesque dance movement! Your child is 3-5 years old... how did you survive the 2 year old apocalypse? You like lobster -- my friend has an amazing lobster cosplay outfit! Will arrive after the 28th of January in Sydney as I'm currently moving out of Perth. I'll bring a car with me and have an amount saved for emergencies and more. Will Uber drive while in Sydney while finding more concrete part-time work. Hope you like my profile. Merry Christmas. Happy New Year. Enjoy Yourself.
Hey guys, I'm looking for a place (with private bathroom only, no share pls ) in Epping/ Hornsby/ straithfield/ Eastwood or somewhere with a direct train to city.I am friendly, bubbly , easy-going and well-organized. Hope to find a place where roommates are nice, friendly and tidy. I'm also willing to team up with someone to take an apartment together :)
Hi we're four girls looking for a house/flat with two bedrooms and two bathrooms for a year. We are students here, doing our post graduation. We keep the place clean and are accommodative. The accomodation should preferably be near the train station ( max walk of 12 mins ). Please message if you have a suitable furnished place with bills included in the rent. Thank you :)
I am 18 years old, entering first year studying Bachelor of Dramatic Arts at Excelsia College in Macquarie Park. I'm from Tasmania and looking for a place to live while studying. I'm a easy going, easy to get along and down to hang, very understanding and friendly. Also very respectable of a person's space. I enjoy relaxing watching movies, or having a swim at the beach. looking forward to hanging out and balancing school work.
I am from Sydney, studying at uni (beginning third year) and working part-time. I am positive, flexible and understanding. If a problem arises we can sort it out. I take responsibilities seriously - I'll pull my weight. I am sporty, I love exercise and being fit but my passion is in sustainability and nature (yes I am a bit of a greeny but not an annoying one). The best part about me is probably that I love life, even in hard times I try to remain positive and I try to have that affect on the lives of those around me. For fun I spend time outdoors and doing the things that cost less but are more fun like movie and game nights.
I am about to start my new job with Sydney trains and I need to find temporary accommodation until I can find a place of my own, the job is full time and shift works so I would be in and out a fair bit at all hours. I can cook, clean and I am very independent.
My name is Gaby, I am a 24 yr old female professional osteopath. Non smoker, clean and easy to get along with. I am looking for a private room with own bathroom in the Sydney area to move into- preferably with all bills and internet included but not a deal breaker if the place is right. I like being social but also like to have my privacy at times and respect others privacy also. If you have something that could work for me, let me know! Look forward to hearing from you! Gaby :)
Looking to move any time around mid Feb 2017. Hi I'm looking for an unfurnished room big enough for a queen bed. I have some other household things, happy to share or store under the house in boxes. Some of the things I need room for include a 2 seater couch, a push bike, 2 cd racks and a few plastic boxes of stuff. So depending on the space somethings could be stored in the bedroom and some in a lock up garage space or ideally a storage space. I also have a big tv - currently with former housemates if you need one in your lounge room and have a display unit for it to sit it on - we can retrieve it .... I am on a 7 day roster and work most weekends and some late shifts too. Sometimes I get 4 day breaks when I've worked 10 days in a row, I try to get away for those breaks usually to Queensland. I get about 7 weeks annual leave and I like to go overseas or up to Queensland to visit my family. I try to travel outside school holiday time - who wants to pay those inflated prices ?? ;) I have been sharing for over 20 years in Sydney and I respect people's space and know how to clean up after myself. I am not a party person - I like to live in a peaceful, tranquil environment. I'm a vego, non-smoker, respect your privacy, pay rent and all my bills on time, friendly and clean. Happy to cook a curry at home or a buy a take away and chat about life over a meal. I work in the cbd mostly 10.30-7pm; sometimes earlier sometimes later. It's most likely that you probably won't run into me that often because of my work hours. As I work outside of normal hours and most weekends, with days off mostly during the week I'm looking for a quiet household on a quiet street or cul-de-sac with minimal traffic noise etc. So if Meriton is building 7 thousand units next door to your place - it's probably not the place I'm looking for ... :) I don't drive but I do need good access to public transport. Also a dryer in the laundry would be handy for those washing days when it's raining all day... :) Please feel free to send me a message if you think you have a place for me. Cheers - Samantha.

Hi! We're a newly wed couple, both engineering/IT professionals in their late 20s from the Philippines. We're easy going, friendly, and totally respect the privacy of others. We're looking for a tidy room with heating and air conditioning. Preferred to have our own bathroom/ensuite but it's not a deal breaker. We can consider a shared bathroom, as long as the bathroom is clean. We are looking at an initial 3-6 months rent, but could extend up to a year if we liked the place.
HI guys, I am an international student from Singapore. I speak both English and Mandarin. I am currently studying at the University of Newcastle. I'm not much of a party-goer. I love getting to know new people but understands how to share a space and respect the privacy of others.
Hi, I'm Erin. I am 21 years old and currently work in the Real Estate Industry full time in North Sydney. I generally am out of the house between 7am & 7pm Monday to Friday. I really enjoy going to the gym (self confessed yoga/Pilates buff), spending time with friends and going back to where I call home, The Shire!. I love meeting new people and am a big socialist! On the weekends I am equally as likely to be at a party as I am snuggled on the couch with trashy reality TV and a glass of red wine! Oh, and you will rarely see a morning without a coffee in my hand.
Hello future flatmates! I am a 19 year old Canadian, who moved to Sydney in September. I was an aupair for a while and now looking for a different full time job and a room! I am respectful of other peoples privacy, organized, outgoing and love to enjoy what this city has to offer! (pubs, zoo, tracks, the beach!!)
I am a strength and conditioning coach and run my business out of a local gym. I recently moved back to Sydney after living in England for the past year and am looking to move into a new place ASAP. I would however like to find somewhere long term and am hoping to meet housemate/s I get along well with. I am experienced living with housemates, both male and female, and have a very laid back nature. I am tidy and happy to help with communal housework. I am also somewhat handy around the house. I am quite a good cook, and am always happy to hang out and have a drink and a chat in the evenings. I work quite long hours (early mornings and late finishes) and have very physically taxing job so my idea of fun can be a little grandpa-ish and often involves cooking and flopping on a couch in the evenings for a chat or to watch a movie.
I am a 28yo guy from New Zealand doing my PhD in geology at Macquarie University. I will be starting my 3rd year having just got back from an exchange studying in Germany. I enjoy sports and the outdoors. I am polite, tidy, relaxed, respectful, and responsible.
I am looking for a room to rent in the Artarmon area in Sydney, or near public transport that gets me there. I have got a new job in the area as a professional Engineer that starts mid January, so i expect to stay for long term. I have no pets, no kids, non-smoker, and i have no interest in getting drunk, only for social drinks. I wash my dishes, and i clean up after myself.
Hi, My name is Ingrid and I am a 25 year old teacher currently living in St Ives. I am looking to share either an apartment, house or townhouse and would prefer a room with an ensuite/own bathroom. Look forward to hearing from you!

Hi I'm a 31 year old male psychologist from Victoria about to undertake a Master's Degree in early Feb in Sydney. I'll be able to come down on the 6th of Feb onwards. Fairly social person, but hope to be buckling down for my course over the next 2 years. Pretty easy going and don't make much mess. Happy to contribute to household responsibilities. Not a fan of smoking or drugs. Not a big noise maker or late night party-er.
