I am a registered nurse at Calvary John James, have a busy lifestyle, very clean and tidy. Looking for a one bed flat or granny flat preferably in South Canberra. Don't mind sharing as long as i can have an ensuit or own bathroom.
I am a non-smoker who lives an active lifestyle while being very neat and organized. I always clean up after myself and I am quiet most of the times. Added to this, I always follow all the house rules and would only use the necessary areas such as the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. Aside from going to work, I'm usually out on training either swimming, cycling, running or working out at the gym so I prefer to be located close to any of these facilities. Also, I would thrive well in a modern establishment with respectful, quiet and tidy housemates. Utilities/Facilities that I'm looking for: -Nearby gym & swimming pool -Indoor aircon & heating -Washing Machine and Dryer for clothes -Super fast internet that can play YouTube videos in HD without delay (I used to live at a flatshare where it takes 5-10 mins to open my e-mails and that was not fun at all) -Garage space (for my car & 2 bikes - 1 bike will be stored inside my bedroom since it will only be used for weekend trainings) -A small yard with garden hose to wash my bikes (optional) If you contact me, please provide photos to your listing as I am currently in Melbourne and would not be able to come over for viewing.
Hi, I am an overseas student. Currently looking for a furnished accommodation near the city (within 10 mins walking). It would be great if the bills are all included with reasonable rent within $200 per week. I am kind and would like to keep clean. Don't cook much. Non- smoker, no pets. Would like to have a chat and make good friends. If everything is suitable, planning to stay longer.
My Partner and I are looking for a place to stay while we work full-time in Canberra. We are both 18 and have a friendly pet rabbit named Gerald who lives outside in his hutch. Preferably we are looking for a 6 month lease in Gungahlin, Bruce or Belconnen.
I'm a young professional moving to Canberra from Perth to start a new role at EY. This will keep me pretty busy and allow you plenty of personal time and space. Given I'll be new to town I'm definitely looking to make some new friends. I love brunch, playing/watching sport and Netflix. Please get in touch if you're looking for a new housemate and think I'd be a good fit :) Brendan
I'm 23 and just finishing up my degree. Working part time at the moment, and about to start working full-time at the end of the year. I love to travel and am searching for a place to live in August when I get back from a year in America and Europe. In my spare time I love to go out with friends, do brunch, drink wine, play video games, and watch trashy TV. I love animals, especially dogs, and would prefer a pet-friendly house (although I don't have any pets just yet). I am friendly and easygoing, and would love an environment I can relax in but can also have fun with everyone when we feel like it. I'm looking for flatmates to become a little family with seeing as I don't know that many people in Canberra any more. I'd love to either join a current house or start a new house with like-minded people. I'm looking for a preferably mixed-gender house full of people who would be happy to have a chat after work and share some wines over dinner. I also love to bake desserts so would love people who would eat what I bake so I don't end up eating it all myself! Please feel free to send me a message if you'd be interested in living together
I am to be shortly moving to Canberra in the next few weeks and in need of a place to move into. I'm fun, casual and am easy to get along, so would expect you to be the same. I'm employed in Real Estate full-time so will not be home throughout the day. If you wish to discuss this more or have any questions feel free to ask!
I am a software developer working full time in the city. I currently live on campus at the ANU and looking to move out on or around the 15th of July as will be graduating. I am looking for long term accommodation options (at least 6 months). I don't smoke, have any pets, and I'm not the party type, or noisy. I'm clean and like a tidy home. I'm also friendly, down to earth, and likable. I like to have some personal space when I'm busy, and I respect that of others. That being said, I do like hanging out and watching Netflix or playing board-games. I also don't mind having a glass of wine and some dinner from time to time.
I am moving to Canberra for a role in the public service. I already own enough house essentials (fridge, washing machine, lounge etc) to set up a home, I just need housemate/s to help pay the rent. I am only looking for housemates for a team up so we can rent a house together. I have lived in share houses for the last 15 years. I like a housemate/s who enjoy the community of a house and are willing to share meals and explore Canberra together. I am looking for housemates with secure employment and preferably somewhat near my age. I like board games, computer games, binge watching TV shows (Netflix etc), but also like to ride mountain bikes. I shall be in Canberra from the 10th of July and hope to move into a house in the next 3 weeks. I am happy to talk over email before then, and meet in person once I arrive in Canberra. I don't smoke or do drugs, and am happy to drink on occasions. I identify as LGBTI (m2f transgender). The suburbs I have listed are more of a suggestion, and am willing to consider other suburbs.
I am a 4th year student at UC. I will be returning from 8 months overseas on July 27 and and am looking for a furnished room (with a queen bed) to rent - preferably in a modern house or apartment. I am looking for a place within walking distance to Uni of Canberra or a short drive away. I am very friendly and am looking for a house or apartment that has a great vibe as I want to live with roommates who I can hang out with, have drinks with and movie nights with. I am a student so I prefer to live with other students, or young professionals in their early to mid twenties, in an all female house. I love to cook, go out for drinks, travel, swim in rivers etc and am easy going, clean and pretty easy to live with!
I'm a qualified trade Painter, honest, respectful of others space and tidy, easy going. I'm moving to Canberra sometime around September starting a new job. I'll be studying as well so would like a shared household that's friendly & fun, but are not noisy party animals. Yes, I do my own dishes the same night and I won't leave a mess around, will share the house chores. I'm a vegetarian and love animals. I have 2 very loving friendly house trained Staffordshire dogs, although they'll be in Sydney most of the time.
Hi :) im 21 years old working full time as a flight attendant out of canberra. Im looking for a place to live perferalbly close to the airport. Im easy going, quiet, clean and friendly gal. Id like to move in with roomies who arent scared to have a chat and have a wine or two but still respect privacy. Im fairly new to canberra so it would be good to make some mates aswell.
I'm a fully qualified pastry chef who got a certificate and decided to try my hand in marketing 😂 I work long hours, so only really home at night. I can cook 😏 I can clean😏 I can laugh 😂 but I'm not a big party goer... need my 8 hours sleep.
I'm a laid back danish student, and I love to meet new people. In my sparetime I enjoy to be active outside, simply having a laugh with my friends, or doing the occasional run, which in Australia probably will be encouraged by the chase of magpies. I find it nice to kick back with a cold beer in my hand, but get just as much satisfaction from watching a movie on the couch. During my stay I will be doing an internship at a research center in Canberra, where I'm investigating environmental issues, so most of the daytime I'll be off to work. I've lived the past four years with a flatmate in a very very small apartment with thin walls, so I have a fair amount of experience living with other people and know how to be a good flatmate. I enjoy making dinner for my roommates, so if you're up for trying new things, I have a few recipes up my sleeve.
Hi! I'm moving with my current job (environmental consultant) from Sydney to Canberra. I've been living in sharehouses for eight years. Pretty quiet during the week, I try to exercise most nights. I'm respectful of space, but also keen to be social with my housemate/s.
I am a very independent, tidy person. Having lived in shared accommodation before I know how to clean up after myself and will be conscientious and respect the privacy of other room mates. I am a generally quiet person but love to sit down with friends for a chat at the end of the day. I enjoy listening to all kinds of music and reading when I have the chance. I'm a bit of a creative so I'll almost always be drawing or painting something. I work full time in Kingston at Crowe Horwath.
Sadly the time has come to find a new home....however this is awesome news for you!! I'm looking to share or team-up with some awesome people in my quest for a new pad. A little about me: Originally from the South Coast, I'm working full-time and studying post-grad in Canberra. I'm an avid adventurer who enjoys fitness, hiking, kayaking and anything outdoors. I'm extremely socialable so hoping for like minded housemates who enjoy life!
I'm joining ANU as a Post-Grad student for the Semester 2. I'm great to talk to, friendly and responsible hence there won't be any dues on rents, bills, etc. Like to keep the place I live tidy and would expect a roommate to be the same as well. My favorite pass time would be to watch movies or TV shows that are trending. Love to shop around and get a few drinks once in a while. I'm a dog-lover and love to babysit them for friends or family. Can cook pretty well and a food-lover. So I'm pretty sure I could be the best roommate you can get :) I'm looking for a place close to ANU which would not take me more than 15 mins on commute. Preferable roommates are students and non-smokers. Smoking outside the premise is fine:)
