Moving up from Melbourne in early 2018 for a grad role in the APS. Relaxed, tidy, and happy to share my Netflix subscription. Regular occasional gym-goer and hope to do some hiking over the weekends. Flexible with move-in dates. Feel free to send me a message, we could meet up over coffee for a chat if you're in Melbourne.
My name is Leah, i work in the public service full-time, right into my fitness. Love to chill and have a chat with friends. Originally from the country but have made myself a permanent resident here! I have a little female cavoodle, she's awesome, very chilled and fully house trained. Doesn't shed hair either and just loves cuddles and going for a good run. I'm interested in people who want to team up to find a house or an already established one. I have a lot of new furniture as well. Open to suburb suggestions as well. :)
Hi Friend! My moving date is on mid-January 2018.i’m looking for an share house, preferred to be reasonable distance to UC. I love coffee, cooking, Netflix, and hanging out with friends. I love a good chat. I keep common areas tidy and pitch-in with house cleaning Ideally I'd like to pay less that $200 for rent and utilities, but for the right house and housemates I'd consider paying more.
Super outgoing, approachable and enjoy long random conversations. I'm a pretty good cook and very tidy. Things I like to do is to go out a lot such as shopping and going out after a busy week. And if not I'll probably be studying for hours or sleeping in my bed or baking to waste time. I'm planning to commence my undergraduate studies at university (ANU) and find a part time job as well. I'm looking for flat mates who are around my age or early 20's. Someone that is good at socialising and pretty chilled to be around and friendly. Give me a text and would love to hear from you guys!
Hi my name’s Rithvik! I’m a young professional making the trek up from Melbourne to join the APS, and I’m looking for a share-house to move into by early/mid-February. I’d say I’m easy-going, sociable and always up for a chat/laugh. I believe I’m someone who is considerate of others, neat and more than willing to pull my weight around the house. In my spare time I enjoy seeing live music, watching a bit of Netflix, hanging out with friends, listening to podcasts and keeping active. Looking for a friendly and sociable house.
Hi I'm Rhys, 25, A Full-Time IT Professional. I'd say I'm considerate and pretty easy to get along with. I'm an Ex-ADF member so I still have the regimented traits and values , good with animals, and pretty open and respectful. Will chat for hours if it's not just small talk. Most days after work, I am one to usually cook dinner and play the Xbox...... On the other hand, I also do like heading out for dinner. On the weekends and sometimes during the week, you will find me out on the motorbike, exploring, or find me in the Gym keeping fit. Speak soon!!
I'm a friendly person who likes hanging out with others but also enjoys being a bit of a homebody. I'm generally pretty organized and neat. I love playing video games, reading and doing some crafting. I also love pets though I have none myself so I would welcome the opportunity to be a part of a household with animals. I'll be moving up to Canberra in January 2018 from Melbourne to join an APS graduate program so I'll be working full time. I'm looking forward to exploring Canberra but also to catching up on my Netflix queue, I've been so busy this year I have lots to catch up on! I have my own furniture beyond a bed and have listed these below. I am happy to share this furniture in the common living areas so depending on the place I could bring in these items for shared usage or if not needed I could put them in storage or get rid of them. coffee table, TV cabinet, TV, arm chair, pouffe, side table fridge, small (benchtop) dishwasher, kitchen trolley, bin, kitchen utensils e.g. saucepans. mixer, microwave, toaster. dining table and 4 chairs, hall table printer, small filling cabinet, small bookcase Move in date is flexible, anytime mid-late January or early February. I would also be willing to consider leases between 6 months and a year.
Hi! My name is Zac, I'm coming down from Brisbane to start a job with the APS in the new year. Currently looking for a place, and I am a very social person and love to hang out and go do things with others. I'm also rather easy-going, and I am a very tidy roommate to live with. I would be willing to move down or contribute towards accommodation earlier than my listed date.
I am a 25 year old Marine Science graduate from Sydney and recently landed a position in AFMA. I am really easy-going, get along with pretty much everyone and enjoy a good laugh and chat after work with my housemates. My interests include Snowboarding (I will be down at Thredbo most weekends in the winter), Water Skiing, Soccer, Music Production and SCUBA Diving. I also like things to be clean and tidy and the places I have rented previously I have kept my room and the general house in order. I am relocating from Sydney and I need to have things in order before I commence in Feb. Ideally I would like to be moved in and settled between the 15th - 30th Jan. Looking for a place to rent in Braddon Canberra or surrounding suburbs for ~1 year. I am keen to join a share house or team up! Open to a chat if you would like to hear more about myself :)
Hey! I'm Sandhya. I'm moving to Canberra from Perth, WA to start full-time work with the Australian Public Service next year. I love a good cup of coffee (but I swear I’m not a coffee addict), enjoy watching soccer (and playing it) and am always up for a game of monopoly, cranium or any other boardgame. Looking for a housemate that I can share an occasional meal with when we’re both home or chats over wine. Most importantly, I’m tidy (with a love of on point design aesthetics), respectful of personal space and down time, and can contribute top notch baking skills.
I am a 25 year old public servant and I am currently looking for somewhere central, inner north / south, Inner Belconnen reigon or central Gungahlin. I am a fun, friendly and easy going person. I’m generally pretty busy during the week with work and on weekends I tend to spend time with family and friends but I do enjoy hanging out at home just to relax and do nothing. I’m not a massive party person but I enjoy being social! So I’m always keen for a chat and to hangout :) I love to cook and watch Netflix, that’s basically me in a bubble. Food + Netflix. Looking for some like minded people to live with! Happy to go anywhere between 6 - 12 months (even longer if possible) I also come with a queen sized bed that I’m not willing too part with (it’s too amazing haha) so the room would need to be able to fit that and storage for my clothing or come with built in robes. Also, I am unfortunately super allergic to cats so I wouldn’t be able to live with them. *sad face* but dogs are completely fine or any other pets :) I do have a boyfriend (who is currently on a volleyball contract in Germany but will be back april) and he normally stays over a few nights a week, if you aren’t okay with this then I’m probably not the right fit for you sorry! I was originally looking to move ASAP but now I’m hoping to move out end of Jan / Feb 2018. If you think I suit what you are looking for fee free to shoot me a message!
Hi, I am jamie, I am starting work in Canberra early 2018, and am looking for a share house in or around the cbd/ Kingston areas. I don’t drink, and I work a lot. Weekends, I am off and out trying to find new and wonderful cliffs to do rock climbing. My work will see me travelling 30-40% of the time. Would like to share with a happy group of people who respect people’s space, as well as being fun at the same time. I am happy to discuss any opportunities available. Would want to start early jan 2018. Would be really impressed if could find someone who is into rock climbing also (I have plenty of gear, and would love someone who would love to join me) I have been working as an L&D consultant for the past 18months, spending a lot of time in the uk, uae, Ireland france and Indonesia.
Hello! I am a Belgian student who is going on an adventure in Australia. This adventure consists mostly of fulfilling an internship at the Belgian Embassy in Canberra, which means I will be at the embassy during the week. I was hoping to find some fun roommates to share this experience with. I am a very sociable person, enthusiastic, energetic and on top of that I am tidy with a good sense of Belgian humor.
New to Canberra and looking for a flat with a good social vibe but tidy and respectful flatmates. I'm working full time, on that 9 to 5 office grind, so nothing too crazy. I'm a relaxed kiwi who enjoys cooking, sports, gaming and good conversation. Happy with the counter-culture rebels or urbane elites as long as you are friendly and put your dishes away!
I'm a 22yo female student about to commence a 9 month radiography placement. I am a clean and tidy person and considerate of others in shared living spaces. I am easy going, enjoy an active lifestyle and socialising with friends. The 9 months needed for accommodation could be indefinite if work is offered to me upon completion of my placement.
Im career orientated and an animal lover. I like to go out and socialise but also like the other end of the spectrum and have my time. I have two beagles and I would be lying if I said they are well behaved however they are well loved. I am an easy going person and always willing to help out around the house! Because of my animal situation I am happy to pay more on rent then others in the house. The location in canberra does not bother me as I move around in canberra for my work. Look forward to making some new friends!
Hi there! I am a boy from China that currently study Psychology in the second yr at ANU. I am very friendly and happy to chat with anyone. In addition, I am good at some Chinese cuisine and pretty excited to share it with my mates. I have very adaptive living habits, clean and quiet at nights, but if someone loves party I could join you as well! Hobbies are sporting, cooking and socialising. Prefer sharing the house with either boys, girls or anyone. Cheers guys!
I have a very balanced lifestyle. Between working full-time in a hotel and hanging out/walking my dog, I also love to cook, watch TV series and going out with friends. I am able to give my housemate as much space as they like but also enjoy a chat or maybe a beer together once every week or 2. I am extremely clean and tidy and although I like to hang out with friends I tend to do that outside of the home, and keep the home I am living in quite quiet and comfortable. I own a lot of my own furniture already and am happy to share what I already own. My dog is beautiful to live with, I take him out for walks everyday as to keep him happy and calm, but he does love a cuddle. Currently sleeps inside but I can arrange a kennel for him outside if needed.
Melbournian moving to Canberra for work Dec/ Jan(flexible) in the public service. Relaxed, tidy and independent. Can be social, but also really enjoy my down time. Reading/Binge watching TV shows/etc. Looking to live somewhere fairly central. Given I've spent my whole life in Melbourne, the people i know in Canberra can be counted on one hand...and if i lost a few fingers in an accident, they could still be counted. Friends are nice. Feel free to shoot me a message with any important questions that might make or break this partnership.
