Hi! We're a couple of poms who've just arrived in Sydney and are looking to share a house with cool, friendly people. The aim of our time in Aus is to get involved in as many activities, and have as much fun, as possible. Our work background is personal training and events management, but our combined hobbies include cycling, mountain biking, motorsport, smashing up the gym, big tunes, cooking, and smugly avoiding social media. We're clean, tidy, respectful and, having both lived in house shares, also appreciate the need for household harmony. If you think we're the kind of people you'd want to live with.. we'd love to hear from you! Thanks, Taline and Harry
I have returned to Sydney from NZ after about 10 years. I am 37, love travelling, socialising, wine & food, camping and getting out and about. I am working 9-5 standard office hours in the city. Looking to share with someone who has their own life going on, but is happy to share and make a flat a home, and be inclusive. I like to cook my own food and share a meal when people are around if it suits. I love dogs.
I'm an easy going, relaxed guy from Germany, I've been in Australia for nearly 2 years and I'm looking to spend my last 2 months living in a nice flat in/near Manly. I work as a carpenter in Manly (Tuesday - Thursday) and as a bartender in Newport on the weekends. I also go to Jiu Jitsu 3-4 times a week and when the weather is good I like to hang out at the beach so I'm usually not home very often. I'm very organized and tidy and care about my daily routine but I'm also down to meet new people, make friends and hang out. Hobbies and interests include science (Physics, Astronomy..), martial arts (MMA, BJJ..), technology, cars, music, travelling, health, nutrition, fitness and more.
I'm 25, moved here from Perth 2 years ago. Work full time on the Sydney Metro Northwest train link as an Electrician. Very laid back but still social and tidy. My year lease in Glebe is coming to an end. i am looking to move closer to the beach and enjoy a Sydney beach summer, preferably around Manly. Hoping to spend my time not at work on the odd road trip to different spots around NSW and learning to surf.
I'm easy going. I come from a family of 8 kids so know how to share and respect others privacy, whilst very happy to socialise and share meals etc. I'm a professional who currently has a role which sees me in Melbourne 3 - 4 days per week. I am not a party animal but do love to like to have friends over for casual dinners, barbecues. I would hope we have a household (where it suits) we could have all friends welcome to join in. I also like quiet time, my home is my haven. I love music in the house, and am pretty eclectic in my taste. Just not fond of duff duff. Never did get it. I LOVE the beach..my soul food place. I've shared with people of all ages which I enjoy. Love the diversity of views, we can all learn from each other. Have a house in Bali so appreciate different cultures. I'm pretty tidy and considerate of others space....oh AND I've found an apartment here in Bower street which looks over the ocean but I need a house mate to share or looking for alternative with Ocean views..how about you
I spend most of my time at home in my room but like to socialise for the occasional meal or beverage. I am respectful and clean up my belongings. I am flexible with my living arrangements but I really need a place with unlimited NBN as I work part time from home.
Hi My name is Pablo. I am very relaxed and easy going, but also very organised with payments and home duties. Super clean and tidy. I like my own time and also love to share a beer or a glass after work or share and cook dinner. I am working full time. During my free time I love to go surfing, cycling or swimming. Love outdoors and exploring new beaches. Nonsmoker. Let me know if you would be interested. Pablo
Hey! I am a 26 year old working full time in marketing for an events company in the city. After work, I’ll generally exercise, go for dinner with a friend or watch some quality reality TV. On the weekends, I'll usually be out and about - eating, drinking, walking, talking - the things most people do. I’m looking to move in with someone that is friendly, open minded and just all round great. Ideally we’ll all become BFFS and wonder how we lived without each other. If you think I'd be your ideal roomie, reach out!
My name is Kia. I’m a 25 year old female from the U.K. living in Australia on a working holiday visa. I’ve been here since January 2018 but am currently doing my regional farm work until the end of September. I plan to return to Sydney in the first week of October and am looking for a nice place to live with friendly flatmates. I’m very tidy and friendly and enjoy going out and socialising with friends as much as I enjoy a quiet night in. I’m not a big party girl as such though so you don’t have to worry about noise! I’ll be working full time hours most weeks but would love to find friendly people to live with, even if it’s just for a brief chat in the kitchen at night! Looking for a place until end of 2018 ideally but will potentially stay longer depending on circumstances. :)
Bonjour ! I am French girl in my mid 30s, I lived in Freshwater for 3 years then moved to Melbourne for work 2 years ago and now planning to move back to Manly. I work in the rail industry as a PM Cost Controller, often work long hours so I am looking for a spacious room in a large and peaceful flat with an en suite bathroom. I also plan to study in the evening so the room has to fit a queen bed and an office desk. I prefer unfurnished rooms as I already have everything. Home is a sanctuary, I am very social but also enjoy having my own space. I draw and paint, love the ocean and all sorts of sports. I am a very tidy person and prefer a minimalist interior design. I speak French, English and Spanish, pretty multicultural at heart. Hoping to find my next home in paradise soon!
I'm a 27 year old from London, currently working in finance in the city. I've been over in Sydney for just over a year and am looking to finally move to the beach! I work pretty standard hours during the week, with occasional late nights in the office required. During the week, I prefer to keep things simple and enjoy some food with whatever Australian reality show is currently on (Masterchef/Survivor/Bachelor are all good). I try and stay active and go running/swimming/cycling a couple times a week. Stretching sessions are unfortunately becoming more and more frequent. I'm always up for a few drinks at the weekend, getting out in the sun and making the most of this beautiful weather. Bowls might become a popular weekend activity. I'm flexible with furnishings - I own some stuff but these can easily be moved on if the place doesn't require. I'm also flexible with timing, but looking to move before the end of October. If you have anywhere available that you think I'd be interested in, please send me a message and we can hopefully get something sorted!
I'm a single young professional. I've had the experience of renting in Dublin for 4 yrs, with no issues to my flatmate or landlord. I'm quiet, a bit introverted until I get to know a person. However, I'm willing to try and experience new things. I like to read, build PCs, play games and/or watch TV. Looking to rent with someone with a slightly different personality, but friendly and reasonable i.e. not crazy!
Im from Japan who is working in Financial institution in Sydney CBD. I am not party person. I am excited to share with persons who are educated. Prefer to Convenient from CBD but close to beach or bay are plus factors
Travelling from the U. K to spend a summer in your country. Big lover of the ocean. I'm travelling with a friend so would be cool if we find a place with two rooms but not overly essential. (budget reflects as individuals). Arrive in Sydney on the 31st of October. Preferably looking for a place very close to Manly beach 🏖 Clean, tidy and respectful of other people's homes and personal space.
I'm a 26 year old kiwi guy working in finance. Work super long hours during the week so you wont see me much then, but love to spend the weekends hanging out and having a good time. I'm a big fan of the outdoors (currently learning to surf and love going on hikes), as well as music and going to festivals (recently went to Tomorrowland, looking to go to Coachella next year!). When I'm not doing any of that, you'll typically find me eating/ drinking somewhere in the sun Looking to live with likeminded people with similar interests and a similar schedule, and who are up for weekend missions whatever they may be!
I'm easy going, clean, mostly spend my time outdoors, at yoga, the gym, or out with friends. I work 9-5 in the city and like to chill and do light cooking on weeknights. Originally from Minnesota, but have been living in Sydney for over 3 years. Looking for likeminded outgoing people who enjoy watching Netflix on the couch or having a couple glasses of wine with their housemates. I also have a brand new cocker spaniel puppy who I take to work with me everyday so the house would need to be pet friendly :)
Hi Guys, We are a young married couple, I am from France and my wife from Ukraine, both working full time on a permanent work visa. We are a fun and easy going couple, not really party people but don't mind people that are :) We have a really cute cat name Toby and are looking for an accommodation that would accept him as well of course. Thanks a lot.
I'm a twenty-year-old French guy currently a student at ICMS. I came here to level up my English and at the same time, discover Australia. I'm a non-smoker, clean and tidy person looking for a clean place and flatmate(s). I'm calm, serious so I'm looking for a quiet environment where I could work. But I also like to talk, go out for a drink, sportive activity, or many others.
Hi, I’m Lance! I’m from the United States on a work holiday visa and am looking to get settled in Sydney, preferably in the Beaches area. I’m a great roommate because I am clean, quiet, responsible, and respectful. I lived in Washington, DC for 8 years and had numerous living situations from group homes with 4+ roommates to shared rooms so I have seen just about everything. I want to get out of the hostel lifestyle and integrate myself in Australian culture. I am always on time or early with my rent and if there are any issues, I always address them upfront.
