I'm a 4th year student from Canada coming for a study term in Australia. I study animal biology and am graduating with my BSc shortly. I will be studying full-time for the term. I love swimming, the outdoors, and I'm excited to see Sydney. I'd really like to meet people who are fun and enjoy a good laugh but not interested in a full-on party house. I am respectful of other's spaces, clean, and have lived well with a roommate in Canada for three years. I prefer to live with females for roommates.
23 y/o Dutch Cultural Studies student, looking for a place in the Eastern suburbs. I'm passionate about my studies, digging vinyl, thriftstore-treasure-hunts, finding gems in little, hidden bookshops, visiting museums and just enjoying everything nice that Sydney has to offer. I'll be doing my own research at UNSW, so I'll be a busy girl reading about history, philosophy and critical cultural theory. As for living, I'm looking for a shared house with calm and open minded people who have their shit together (or at least semi-together :-) ). I love a little creativity and social spirit around me, but at times I also need my own space, just reading a book or finding new recipes to try out in the kitchen.. PS: I make a mean Moroccan tagine and it's always best when it's shared ;-). PPS: I work at a bakery in Maroubra (yay for free bread!!)
Hi, I'm Dom, i'm from London and work in Finance; moving to Aus in October on a working holiday visa :) I have lived with friends from uni for the past 4 years and am very social, clean and like cooking (my spag bol cures any hangover / work day troubles)! Would love to live in a social house as I will be new to Sydney. Planning on staying in Australia for at least a year but whilst I firm up a job would probably look to sign up for 3 months rent initially until settled in - though this is flexible.
I’m from Sydney, working full time, but I’d like to shorten the commute so I have more time for my mates, knitting and gym although I’d probably find a way to avoid the latter. I’ve been living on my own the last couple of months, I do enjoy my own space but I’d prefer to have people around I can have a chat/dinner/binge watch with. I’m off on holiday for the next month, looking for something available long term at end of July/ beginning of August :) P.S I don’t wear glitter very often but neither do I tend to take selfies if I’m not
Hi, my name is Joe. I am 26 years old from Essex, England. Like to think i’m pretty easy to live with. I can cook, clean and take the bins out! Just as happy reading a book as I am going on a 48hr session so pretty much game for whatever. Just looking for some fun and interesting housemates to doss with while I work locally.
Hi there, I'm a 25 year old American from Colorado. I have lived in the Manly area for the last year and a half and will be moving back on the 7th of July to begin my Masters degree at UNSW. I'll be studying International Public Health and Health Management. I will be at school full time and most likely working part time. I like to be outside and active, I have a surf board and want to learn how to surf. I'm looking for a place that is pretty low key since I'll be focused on studies, but still social as I love to go out for a few drinks on occasion. Hoping to find someone with an active lifestyle :)
Hello, 31 yr old American traveler looking for a room for rent for 3.5 months. I enjoy sports- mainly volleyball, climbing, soccer, football, and snowboarding. I like to cook in during the week when possible and going out on the weekends. Hoping to find a nice room for rent and some cool housemates :) I will be working downtown so close to public transit is ideal. Housemate-wise would prefer other non smoking, young professionals. Thanks
Young French professional working full-time in IT and data analytics consulting. I'm looking for a place to share with friendly people in the same mood and preferably in my age.
Looking for a fully furnished place in Manly to move into at the end of July. The plans are that in about 8 or 9 months time, I’ll be moving to London so I’m giving you fair warning - don’t get too attached! A bit about me: I work full time in marketing in the cbd. Originally from Perth so I’m a beach lover through and through (why am I moving to London?!). Been in Sydney for 5 years now. I’m at cabbage tree bay every single weekend for a snorkel when the weather is warm and have just started to try my luck at slacklining. Keywords: just started; try. I suck at it. But it’s fun! Super chill; super clean in shared areas. My room is where I keep the mess, but trust me when I say it’s organised mess. I also can’t cook. Good thing one of my fave things is steamed broccoli. I’m a pretty independent person so I generally go about doing my own thing. In saying so, I’m always down for a drink and a laugh. I like connecting with people from all walks of life and sharing fun experiences. I also LOVE dancing. Not professionally because coordination is key and there is lack-of in this vicinity. But I love a good boogie. It makes me very happy. Unfortunately allergic to cat spit. I don’t like pineapple. More cat spit and pineapples for everyone else in the world! All in all, positive vibes all round.
I will not be arriving in Sydney until July 17th, but I thought I would get a head start on flat hunting. I'm a college student visiting from America for a six-month research internship in Sydney. Big fan of sports, politics, philosophy, and traveling. Also a big fan of photography, so let me know if you need a new Facebook profile picture. I consider myself pretty friendly, but will never demand your attention. I like pets too, if you have one (or a few). Didn't vote for Trump.
Easy going, professional female who loves snowboarding and adventures. New Zealander who has just moved here after 2 winter seasons in Canada. Love to socialise but also consider my home a sanctuary. Will likely be away most weekends at the snow! Would love someone fun and easy going also.
Hello! I'm Amber. I'm originally South African, but have moved around 4 different countries before coming back to Australia last year, where my father stayed. I'm currently living at home and kind of sick of it. I'm a qualified counsellor and currently studying Psychology. I mostly study on campus and I also work part-time in Manly, so when I'm at home I'm keen to just chill, paint (I paint and draw), listen to music, meditate or do some yoga! Other than that, baking is a hobby too! Hope this gave you a little snapshot of me!!! Be well, Amber
Clean, respectful, relatively funny (Subjective) and easy going. Work in the city and looking for a cool, welcoming place to come home too. Would prefer a social situation, but do like my own time as well. I am “part owner” of a dog with the ex gf, so a pet friendly place would be good for weekend stays, but it’s not a deal breaker as he doesn’t have to stay over, although he is pretty awesome and you’d be missing out. 😂
Hey! After a very and I mean very brief stint in Melbourne I have realised that Sydney is home and I was to get back ASAP. Within 2 weeks preferably. I want to go back to my beach side living in Bondi or the surrounding areas. I think I’m a great housemate because I’m clean, quiet. Tend to do my own thing, watch telly but I’m all ways up for a wine and a catch up. Living with me also means FREE HAIR! Seeing as this is a quick interstate move I need something furnished and something with little to no bond required or something we can arrange. I don’t need to view the property before hand. I trust that you’ll say everything correctly. Cheers, hope to hear from you soon!
Hello! My name is Renata, i'm 29 and I'm moving to Sydney. I'm looking for a clean and organized house/apartment. I'm moving from Brisbane (I just got a job in manly). I love to cook (I was a chef but now i'm a PR) and I am very easy going.
Olivia (23) and Martine (21) are moving to Sydney in July for a Martine's study abroad program. Olivia is a recent graduate with a master's in psychology and will be working full time. We are both clean and neat people (and if there's a mess, it will always be in our own room). We like to think of ourselves as a fun couple, liking to have a glass (or a few glasses) of wine while enjoying company of a few good friends. We're looking forward to going to the beach daily, hiking, fitness, eating vegan food, and meeting new friends. We both love to cook and eat with others, and Olivia is known for her amazing vegan nachos! We're also always up for a Netflix binge or movie marathon!
Hi guys! I’m Elli, a 27 years old girl from Germany and came to Australia 2 weeks ago. I’ll start a new job at beginning of july and hope to find a nice shared flat and a new home for the next months. I’m a clean(good in housekeeping, its also my new job;-)) , relaxed, openminded and happy person. I’m off course non-smoking. Let me know if u are interested in me as your flatmate! Regards, Elli
We are a group of 2 couples from the UK and Netherlands. Looking for 2 rooms in a house or a 2 bedroom apartment. Easy going group of friends on a working holiday visa. Will all be working full-time but won't mind a nice get together in the evening.
Looking for a private room within 30-40 minutes of the city. I'll be working full time in the city. I envisage finding some fun housemates that are easy to get along with whether in an established share house or not. I'm clean and happy with pitch in with the household upkeep. I have past successful flatmates history. My only request is the house has a dishwasher, be it mechanical or human I wont discriminate.
