29 years old & one of the many UK expats who’ve made their way to Manly. Would like to think of myself as a very happy, sociable & active guy. Definitely not averse to some friendly banter when it's to be had. During the week I work in advertising - generally look to keep a decent balance of being healthy on whilst enjoying the social perks of the job on weeknights. At the weekend you'd probably find me outdoors most of the day, probably ocean swimming or playing football/golf before a few sundowners. To live with I'd say i'm fairly minimilist by nature so tend not to make mess/like things tidy. I cook a few healthy dinners throughout the week and know a lot of pointless facts because all I tend to watch on Netflix is documentaries. Would be great to find some equally relaxed, clean and conscientious housemates. Anything extra would be a very welcome bonus!
I'm an honest, willing and happy go lucky bloke. Originally from a small country town in western NSW so if that's not enough to say, I'm always full of stories and just live for the outdoors! I work fairly long hours during the week my weekends are usually spent down at the beach or out in the bush with mates camping :) Never one to knock back a wine or two with mates and just as happy to kick back and watch a movie!
Hey peeps, I am looking for a wonderful place to call home for the next 3 years. I'm gonna be back in Sydney at the beginning of January 2019. I'll leave Australia on the 9th of October to travel and visit home so I would still be able to stop by for a viewing before that. I know it's a bit early to start looking but I thought it could be worth trying. A little bit about myself: I’m 26 years old, easy going, respectful and from Germany. I love to live in a clean but cozy environment and socialise with my future housemates :) I'm gonna be on a student visa studying Marketing in the City. My Job is gonna be in Manly though so, therefore, I'm looking for a private room around this area. I'd love to hear from you, thanks xx Jaqui
Hello :D I'm a 22 year old currently working part-time in the city. I don't carry any excess luggage like a child or a dog so you wont need to worry about that, haha. Any other questions, feel free to send me a message and I am more than happy to answer them! :)
Hey there! I'm a student at Sydney Uni and almost a high school teacher (only a year of uni to go!). I've had two short stints living out of home while studying overseas and have finally decided to bite the bullet and leave the nest here in Sydney. I'll be honest, I'm generally pretty quiet and am not really a party person. I do drink but not at all excessively (boring, right?). My ideal Saturday night is spent curled up at home watching Netflix. I absolutely adore cooking and I'm also a huge nerd for anything language or literature-related (books, movies, poetry, learning languages... I'm down). On the weekends (when I'm not working or studying), I love going to art galleries and museums, pottering around the shops or if the weather permits, going to the beach. As I'm studying full-time and also working four different part-time jobs, I'm not home much during the week so I'll have no problem staying out of your hair. Especially so whenever I'm on a teaching prac :)
Im from Japan who is working in Financial institution in Sydney CBD. I am not party person. I am excited to share with persons who are educated. Prefer to Convenient from CBD but close to beach or bay are plus factors. Also I would like to have a own bathroom.
Easy going professional from NZ, run my own business, well travelled, lived in Sydney for 14 years, very tidy and considerate, enjoy going to the gym, socialising, riding my motorcycle when I get time 😁 Also keen on a 1 bedroom flat/apt for myself or to team up in a 2 or 3 bedroom apt/house with one other. Would prefer undercover parking for my motorcycle.
Hi, I am a gentle and trustworthy person looking for a lovely home with beautiful nature surrounds. I love nature and care about the environment. I enjoy swimming, walking along the beach or in the rainforest. I am studying at home part time and am interested in nature photography and gentle acoustic music. I am fairly quiet and happy doing my own thing most of the time and wish to live with others who I enjoy sharing a home with, and who are happy to share with me. I prefer to share with one or two long term flatmates, and feel more comfortable sharing with other females. I am looking for the right fit, that will be a home. Open to shorter term while I am looking for a long term home, but needs to feel like home :) Thanks and All the best, Pip PS I lived on the south coast for twenty years. Then after living with friends in the sunshine coast and Byron bay area I lived in manly last year where I loved snorkelling, the ferries, and the many wonderful coastal walks. As I am studying from home I have some choices of where I am able to live but it is important for me to live in an safe and good area with beautiful nature and to live within a home that feels like home for me Thanks.
I'm a single young professional. I've had the experience of renting in Dublin for 4 yrs, with no issues to my flatmate or landlord. I'm quiet, a bit introverted until I get to know a person. However, I'm willing to try and experience new things. I like to read, build PCs, play games and/or watch TV. Looking to rent with someone with a slightly different personality, but friendly and reasonable i.e. not crazy!
I'm easy going, clean, mostly spend my time outdoors, at yoga, the gym, or out with friends. I work 9-5 in the city and like to chill and do light cooking on weeknights. Originally from Minnesota, but have been living in Sydney for over 3 years. Looking for likeminded outgoing people who enjoy watching Netflix on the couch or having a couple glasses of wine with their housemates. I also have a brand new cocker spaniel puppy who I take to work with me everyday so the house would need to be pet friendly :)
Hi I'm Charlotte, postgrad Arts student at USyd. I'm from Holland but have been living in Aus for a few years. At the moment I'm doing an exchange and will stay for a few months. I like going to concerts and festivals, love movies, dancing and coffee. I'm social and like to keep things clean. Not looking for a party place, however I like to go out from time to time and catch up with friends. Let me know if you think I would be the right fit for your house. :)
I'm a french guy who likes to go out and have a drink or stay at home and chill on Netflix. I'm friendly, respectful and trustworthy. I also play guitar but don't have one. If you're looking for a personal rockstar, I'm the right roommate !
Hi! We're an English who've just arrived in Sydney and are looking to share a house with cool, friendly people. The aim of our time in Aus is to get involved in as many activities, and have as much fun, as possible. Our work background is personal training and events management, but our combined hobbies include cycling, mountain biking, motorsport, gymming and trying to eat healthily. We're clean, tidy, respectful non-smokers and, having both lived in house shares, appreciate the need for household harmony. If you think we're the kind of people you'd want to live with, we'd love to hear from you! Thanks, Taline and Harry
I spend most of my time at home in my room but like to socialise for the occasional meal or beverage. I am respectful and clean up my belongings. I am flexible with my living arrangements but I really need a place with unlimited NBN as I work part time from home.
I am a single female executive, working in the CBD. I am looking for a peaceful light filled apartment to call home for 2 months while I am in between properties. I am a quiet, reliable, non smoker with no pets. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions. Thank you for your time, Tess
I'm an easy going, relaxed guy from Germany, I've been in Australia for nearly 2 years and I'm looking to spend my last 2 months living in a nice flat in/near Manly. I work as a carpenter in Manly (Tuesday - Thursday) and as a bartender in Newport on the weekends. I also go to Jiu Jitsu 3-4 times a week and when the weather is good I like to hang out at the beach so I'm usually not home very often. I'm very organized and tidy and care about my daily routine but I'm also down to meet new people, make friends and hang out. Hobbies and interests include science (Physics, Astronomy..), martial arts (MMA, BJJ..), technology, cars, music, travelling, health, nutrition, fitness and more.
I'm 25, moved here from Perth 2 years ago. Work full time on the Sydney Metro Northwest train link as an Electrician. Very laid back but still social and tidy. My year lease in Glebe is coming to an end. i am looking to move closer to the beach and enjoy a Sydney beach summer, preferably around Manly. Hoping to spend my time not at work on the odd road trip to different spots around NSW and learning to surf.
