I work a lot so I won't be home much, I'm a hairdresser. Been living out of home for 7years, I'm reliable, honest and a load of fun. Just looking for a change, currently living too far from work.
My name is Emy and I'm from England and just turned 30. I work as a portrait photographer in and around Sydney which is very varied and keeps me busy. I have spent some time this year traveling the country in my van and seeing lots of cool places. I am on a working holiday visa but will be changing visas next year to be able to stay in the country for longer. My boyfriend is called Michael and he's 28 and is Australian (from Dubbo originally). He works full time as a video editor for a wedding video company in Fairfield. He's lived in Sydney for a while and studied film here. He also works on short films for film festivals in-between his editing job so he's pretty busy. We don't smoke and I don't drink (just really don't like the taste!). Michael only drinks a little bit. No problem living with people who smoke and drink as long as there is no smoking in the house. We are both into eating good food and like to cook (always wash up after we have eaten!) After work we tend to cook food and chill out with netflix, or go out for dinner or cinema. We both try to keep fit and I regually go to fitness classes in the city. On days off from work we catch up on sleep, socialise and take trips out to the beach or shops. We are both pretty chilled out and don't like drama so are looking for a friendly and chilled out place to live. I'm pretty chatty where as Michael is quite shy so it takes him a while to get chatty with new people! But we are both super friendly and positive people who are clean, tidy and respectful of other people. We totally respect other peoples space and privacy and are looking for the same whilst also being able to hang out with our future flatmates if they want to. We don't have an ideal set amount of time that we would like to live in Sydney so I wrote down 4 months but it's a very rough number! This is because we plan to travel at some point next year but we need to spend some time to work hard and save up for it and we don't know how long it will take! So a flexible lease agreement would be ideal for this reason; but I think we will need a minimum of 4 months to save if not a whole lot longer! Our ideal place must be within a 10 minute walk to the train station and walking distance to supermarkets. Own bathroom and outdoor space like a balcony or garden would be a major plus but not essential. And an apartment that comes with gym facilities or is near to a gym would be even more awesome. We are clean and tidy but not obsessive over it so are looking for flatmates who are the same. Our earliest move in date would be just before NYE. Or any time after that we can be flexible.
Hi! Need to move to Sydney as I have been offered a full-time job as a registered nurse starting in Feb. I will be working 5 days/wk. I am looking to team up with other females to rent out an apartment/town house. My other option is to look for accommodation with my friend who will be working full-time also so we prefer 3 separate rooms but we don't mind sharing. On-site parking is preferred but I don't mind parking in the streets. Ensuite or own bathroom only. In addition, I am looking for sociable and easygoing housemates! :) I enjoy staying at home as much as I enjoy going out. I like to hangout with people. I enjoy travelling and exploring different places. I am friendly, open-minded and most of all respectful (And sometimes funny :p). I'd like to have my own room & bathroom for some alone time. Also, I prefer living with non-smokers. Overall, I'm a very chill person.
Me and my boyfriend have recently moved from the UK to Sydney on a working holiday visa. We will be working full time so we wont be around much in the week but we like to make the most of our weekends! We're friendly, down to earth, up for a laugh and respect people's privacy. We like to party as much as having an evening in with a takeaway and movie or just reading our books. We are clean, tidy and also pretty laid back. We hope to stay somewhere for a few months while we are working in Sydney until we move on to our next adventure!
My name is Matt I'm a 35yr old nurse working full time. I do shift work, am an avid enthusiast photographer, bushwalker, non-smoker and always looking for ways to unwind after a busy day at work. I'm looking for a place long-term and a cool, relaxed housemate. I can offer a coffee machine, Dylan Moran DVd's with Black Books and wine. I'm easy to talk to and always respect privacy. I'm looking for a place to come home and be comfortable. Any questions I'll be happy to answer.
We are 2 girls from the North of England. We are looking to rent a 2 bedroomed fully furnished property from the 3rd January or 2 bedrooms (not shared) in a shared house or apartment ! We are looking to be working full time We are super friendly, fun, laid back and tidy. We enjoy socializing, being active and having fun which makes us easy to get along with. Although we plan to work full time and therefore wont be the house all day everyday, we enjoy cooking and would love a house share that respects each others space but also enjoys social activities together. If there is anything you would like to know please message us! Thank you and look forward to hearing from you, Kind Regards Abigail and Briony
Hi I'm 37, male, originally from Austria, just about to finish a PhD, and I'm looking for a short-term accommodation. I'm trying to become an independent contractor in my professional field, and I'm looking for a room in which I can work 30+ hours a week (hence both "unemployed" and "working full-time"). The room doesn't have to be big, but should fit a medium-sized office desk along with bed etc. Furnished rooms preferred. I'm flexible with the length of stay, can be shorter if necessary. I surf about once or twice per week (if the summer swell permits) and prefer locations close to the beach. I don't own a car and depend on public transport. I'm outgoing if people approach me, otherwise I keep to myself. Thanks a lot for your consideration! Stefan
Very easy going 25 yr old, looking to nest by the sea! I live a fairly busy and somewhat healthy & active lifestyle where I am working full time and studying part time. I am a non-smoker, but enjoy a glass of red, a chat and a good BBQ every now and then. To move in by early Jan would be very ideal. Long term preferred, but am open to either. Hope to hear from you!
Bubbly, open-minded and respectful! I’m pretty tidy, can’t sleep in peace if my room is a mess. More than happy to help out with house chores :) On most weekends you’ll find me outs and about at the beach or just lounging around with a cuppa of coffee and Netflix then occasionally trying out new recipes in the kitchen. Looking for a private room (no carpet, preferably within a shared home but definitely open to apartment options) within walking/super short driving range from Kogarah station.
Hi! I'm a nanny looking to find a guy/girl with similar interests to find a house to live in, along with my two beautiful Staffies and my extremely friendly cat! I'm originally from a small town up on the mid north coast but have lived in Sydney for about 5 years now :) I love music (mostly edm but everything really), and am very down to earth. I work long days and love to go out & be social when I'm not at home spending time with my pets. I'm flexible with the moving date! And would like some one aged 24-30 preferably.
I'm fun, adventurous and daring. I am a singer and a comedian. I love to laugh and have a fun time. I am not really into the partying scene as I loooove my sleep to much. I socially drink about once a month. I can cook and clean up after myself.
I am friendly clean and tidy and hardworking. I am also easy to get along with. I love to be happy and live a quiet life as I don't like troublemakers or problems Life is meant to be lived. I am from Sydney and love to go out with my friends when I have the chance as I work full time.
Hi! I'm Meg and I will be 20 at the end of January. I am looking for somewhere to live next year as I will not be renewing my current lease when it runs out at the beginning of February. This is because I would prefer to live in South Sydney, as it will be closer to where I will be studying at Ettingshausens in Kirrawee. I would prefer an unfurnished room, living with one other person (any gender), however I will definitely still consider other arrangements. I will be at school at least three weekdays, and most other days I will be at work, which is doing promotional work, meaning I will have a steady income to pay bills. My parents currently pay my rent and will continue to do so whilst I am studying until the end of 2017, so the correct amount of rent will always be paid on time. I have lived in Sydney for a year now, after I moved from my hometown of Tamworth to study dance full-time at Village on Broadway for a year. I am clean and respectful, and also a very happy and easy to get along with kind of person. Love to socialise with my housemates but of course give you your space and privacy. I am also not a party animal so won't have heaps of people over/come home super late all the time/make a big mess. I'm very active, and also vegan and really passionate about healthy eating and cooking! I'm also very creative so I'll usually be making something arty in my spare time. Love catching up with friends, going to art galleries and markets and spending lots of time at the beach!
I am very easy going and down to earth. Have lived with other people before and never had a problem. I work in childcare and adore children, I'm always motivated and very productive at work and home. I love everything being clean and get quite creative. I'm from Sydney and love spending free time going to the gym, beach, weekends away, socialising with friends and family, being spontaneous and cooking.
Hi I'm Michael, 29 in a couple of weeks and recently back in Oz after living in Canada for the past 5 years. I work 6 days a week in the city doing remidal and cival work on the mls building. When I'm not at work I'm either out working on my car, at the beach getting back on the board or catching up with family and friends. Hi, I am 26 and am originally from Cronulla however left about 3 years ago to travel and live in London. Since returning home i have been living in Coogee but I am finally ready to move back to the bubble. I dont have a place as yet but have a few lined up but would love to find a room mate first to help with the application and moving process. I am like to think that I am fun, easy going and pretty chilled out. I work full time at Qantas so I stay pretty low key during the week, coming home from work and go to the gym, cook dinner, watch some trashy TV and go to bed. On the weekends you will usually find me out locally with friends at a quiet dinner with a few wines or taking over the dance floor at sting. I am looking for someone who is like minded, is a bit of fun and will enjoy a laugh together but also appreciates space and does their own thing. All I ask is that you clean up after yourself and I will do the same. If you would like to chat further, please get in touch. Thanks, Michaela
