We are a professional couple from the UK emigrating to Sydney in June 2018. We enjoy eating out, live music, art and socialising. We both love languages and speak Spanish and German. We are looking forward to our Sydney adventure.
I am Angelica and I am an engineering graduate from the Philippines. I will be entering Sydney this April so I am in dire need of a place. I have been sharing rooms/flats with other people since I was 13 so I consider myself an expert in room/flatsharing. I am very friendly and I easily get along with others. I love reading books and listening to music. I also binge-watch shows like Black Mirror on Netflix when I have the time.
Hi, I did a PhD in Materials Science for photovoltaic applications in Switzerland and will move to Sydney in March to start working at UNSW as a postdoc. So now I'm looking for a place to stay. Ideally it would be a shared flat not too far from the campus but neither from the beaches ; ). Actually even though I did most of my studies in Switzerland, originally I'm from Germany and am also half French. I've lived in shared flats before, am a easy going person, like it tidy and rather calm but enjoy also to share a glass of wine or a meal with my flatmates. I'm a very active person, enjoy all sorts of sports (biking, hiking, windsurfing... am interested in surfing!) and teach yoga/pilates and gym classes in my free time. Besides I enjoy playing the guitar, singing, cooking and meeting new people. Here in Switzerland I'm a moderator for language evenings at the local pub, for people who want to learn German or English. I'd be happy to get in touch!
I'm a US citizen who has made a home in New Zealand, over from Wellington for a medium-term stay while getting a visa application together to move back permanently. I am looking to share a home with you for 4 weeks minimum, with potential to stay longer. I have shared many flats before, and am calm, tidy, and caring but quite self-sufficient. I appreciate a board game or movie night, having a chat over coffee, and going for a swim or browsing a bookshop together. I am a full-time freelancer, with consistent work as an editor and writer for a textbook company in the States. This keeps me busy, but as I will be doing some work from home I'd like a bit of space and quiet from time to time -- and appreciate a sturdy desk and chair! I can be flexible though, and am happy to get out and do work at a library or elsewhere to mix things up on some days, or if the flat gets noisy while I'm doing work. I love animals, especially cats. I have some friends in Sydney and am happy to make new ones -- hopefully, you!
Hi, my name is Dan. I am a 29 year old doctor who will be working in Sydney from March 2018. Originally from England but have been living and working in Victoria and Queensland for the past 2 years. As a doctor I work shift work including evening shifts, weekends and nights. So I am hoping for a quiet house and area. I would originally be looking at a rental for 4-6 weeks whilst looking for a place, but if everything went well then this could be extended. I like to socialise and meet new people, am easy going and I am a non smoker. My interests include sports, running, cooking and traveling.
Hello, I am looking for accommodation starting 05th of March in and around Sydney-CBD or in Suburbs with a good proximity. I am keen on having a private room with an ensuite bathroom for myself in a shared house. I am from Delhi and on a PR visa currently looking for opportunities in Australia. I am friendly, clean & tidy and will be able to pay my bills on time. I'm currently working with Jones Lang LaSalle as a Manager and have over 10 year of IT/Management Consulting experience.

Hi! I'm Mel, I'm a 28 year old health professional from interstate who will be working at the hospital 9 months. I am a non smoker and able to keep shared spaces clean. I am looking ideally for a furnished room, somewhere close to the hospitals in randwick. I will be studying for exams and am a shift worker, so looking for a quiet household but I don't mind a chat and I'm quite a good cook! I have previously lived with a housemate and her beagle, so would not mind living with another dog, however not keen on cats. Places with aircon are looked upon favorably :)
Hello, I'm moving from Melbourne to Sydney for work in early March. I love plants, fresh air and homely homes. I'm always up for a chat, but also happy with my own company. Cats generally make me smile but also itch, so probably looking for a pet free scenario. :)
Hey! I'm a student from Singapore just finishing up grad school. I'm fairly outgoing, respectful, and always down to hang out, or not (if you prefer). I love making new friends and meeting people from different countries. I'm often at my partner's place so I won't actually be there most of the time. But I need a place to put my things and I'll pop in once in a while!
My name is Jocelyne, recently moved here from Canada. My partner Zac is from New Zealand and we're currently looking for a place to call home. We both work full time but when we are not working we enjoy catching up with friends, going for weekend adventures, staying active or even just catching a movie.
Hi there, I'm Olivia! I'm from Connecticut, USA. I am moving to Sydney to take a teaching course. I'd prefer a quieter home where I can study. I'm not really a party person but I am social. I'm very tidy and clean up after myself. My hobbies include snowboarding, grabbing lunch with friends, going to the beach, and exploring new places. I can provide references if needed.
I go rock climbing a lot and I'm really easy-going. Clean and quiet but always up for a pint or two at the end of the day
Hi there, I have just accepted a full-time position in Sydney within the finance industry and am looking for a place to live. I have been in share houses in Melbourne for the last couple of years so am fairly acclimatized to how they work. I appreciate a clean space as much as the next person. I would like to live somewhere I can really call 'home' and get along with my housemate/s. I certainly respect that everyone needs their alone time however also don't mind having a chat over a drink. I am a pretty social person :) Ideally somewhere close to the CBD as that is where my office is located, and close to public transport. Preferably furnished with a bed and wardrobe as I am not taking anything with me from Melbourne. In my spare time I usually keep pretty active and am a keen fashion goer (spring racing carnival is my favourite time of the year!). I'm looking forward to starting my next chapter in Sydney!! Feel free to ask anything else you would like to know about me.
We're sisters that are looking for a third (or potentially 4th) person to share with us in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. After both doing apartment-living for a while, we're keen to look for a bigger place where we can create a more homely vibe. Hello hammock in the back courtyard of a terrace...(hopefully!) Monday-Friday we both work long hours but come the weekend, it's all about the beach hangs, afternoon wines and chilling out. While we do love hanging together (and I'm sure will love hanging with you), we also both like our alone time so keen to have a house where there's no pressure to hang out together all of the time. Both of our leases expire 16 March so we're starting to dip our toes in and look from Potts Point to Point Piper, across to Paddington and Darlo, then up to Bondi, Bronte and Tama. Happy to answer any questions, or meet up for a post-work coffee or beer to get to know each other more.
