Hi, My name is Noi. I work full time as a flight attendant, therefore looking for a place that is within easy distance to the airport. I work shift hours, usually away on an overnight 2 - 3 nights, per week. I enjoy good company, having a good laugh over a few drinks, and occasionally going out. I like keeping busy so you may rarely ever see me. When I’m not at home, I’m either at the gym, the beach or out with my boyfriend. I'm pretty easy going, very clean and tidy, considerate and respectful of other's personal space. Would prefer to share with other females but I'm not too fussed if you're respectful, clean and easy going as well. 🌞
I'm a 4th year student from Canada coming for a study term in Australia. I study animal biology and am graduating with my BSc shortly. I will be studying full-time for the term. I love swimming, the outdoors, and I'm excited to see Sydney. I'd really like to meet people who are fun and enjoy a good laugh but not interested in a full-on party house. I am respectful of other's spaces, clean, and have lived well with a roommate in Canada for three years. I prefer to live with females for roommates.
23 y/o Dutch Cultural Studies student, looking for a place in the Eastern suburbs. I'm passionate about my studies, digging vinyl, thriftstore-treasure-hunts, finding gems in little, hidden bookshops, visiting museums and just enjoying everything nice that Sydney has to offer. I'll be doing my own research at UNSW, so I'll be a busy girl reading about history, philosophy and critical cultural theory. As for living, I'm looking for a shared house with calm and open minded people who have their shit together (or at least semi-together :-) ). I love a little creativity and social spirit around me, but at times I also need my own space, just reading a book or finding new recipes to try out in the kitchen.. PS: I make a mean Moroccan tagine and it's always best when it's shared ;-). PPS: I work at a bakery in Maroubra (yay for free bread!!)
Hi, I did a PhD in Materials Science for photovoltaic applications in Switzerland and will hopefully move to Sydney end of June/beginning of July to start working at UNSW as a postdoc. So I’m looking for a place to stay. Ideally it would be a shared flat not too far from the campus but neither from the beach ; ), with a private, fully furnished room as I won‘t be bringing furniture. Actually even though I did most of my studies in Switzerland, I'm originally from Germany and am also half French. I've lived in shared flats before, am a easy going person, like it tidy and rather calm but would also enjoy to share a glass of wine or a beer, a meal or an adventure with my flatmates. I'm a very active person, enjoy all sorts of sports (biking, hiking, windsurfing... am interested in surfing!) and teach yoga/pilates and gym classes in my free time. Besides I enjoy playing the guitar, singing, cooking and meeting new people. Here in Switzerland I'm a moderator for language evenings at the local pub, for people who want to learn German or English. If you think I could be a good fit for your flat I'd be happy to get in touch!
I’m from Sydney, working full time, but I’d like to shorten the commute so I have more time for my mates, knitting and gym although I’d probably find a way to avoid the latter. I’ve been living on my own the last couple of months, I do enjoy my own space but I’d prefer to have people around I can have a chat/dinner/binge watch with. I’m off on holiday for the next month, looking for something available long term at end of July/ beginning of August :) P.S I don’t wear glitter very often but neither do I tend to take selfies if I’m not
Hi! I'm Grigoris, I'm coming to Sydney to study at UNSW for a year as a psychology exchange student from the University of Glasgow starting July 2018. I'm a chilled out guy and spend most of my time listening to music, walking around, studying, watching movies, and trying out new activities. I'm the kind of person who likes to keep busy and I therefore might not spend much of my day in the flat. I intend to find a part-time job on top of my full-time studies and along with spending time in the library and extracurriculars you know how it is. I'm very clean and tidy, respectful of communal places and other people. I'm looking for a room in a shared flat/house with cool, like-minded people around my age. I'm hoping for a friendly environment, for us to get along well and hang out. The room would have to be fully furnished, as it makes no sense for me to buy furniture. I'm coming to Sydney around the 10th of July and would like to move in before the 18th of July. Ideally, I am looking for a flat near UNSW or in a interesting and busy area that's not to far from campus. Drop me a message if you're interested or have any questions! :)
What makes me great to live with? Well I've common sense ;) About me; I'm a bit quiet when I'm doing my things. I used to be focused when I have to get some stuff done. But I'm very friendly and happy to share a bottle of wine sometimes. I'm not a party person. hang out sometimes is ok. Working with hospitality every shift is kinda a hang out hahaha I'm vegetarian and I love read and talk about nutrition. But i love the most talk about life and interesting stuff to blowing minds. I'm into arts, healthy life style, well-being, startups, digital marketing, entrepreneur, etc. Hope find a place to call home asap.
Organized, Charismatic, Perfectionist, Active, Sociable. Right now i don't have a main job, I'm just helping my uncle with some stuff. As hobbies i like to go for walks, do exercises.
Hey ! I am looking for a studio or a room in a shared flat (ideally from July 15th). I am 32 years old, Swiss, working at Sydney university. I'm always in to chat, cook or have a drink with the other flatmates and would prefer to find a place with people who like to socialize (but I respect when people need to stay alone and sometimes I also prefer to spend my evening reading a book or on my computer :-) ). At the moment I am living in a shared flat in Camperdown but I would have nothing against moving somewhere else in Sydney. I am a quiet person, I like to go out in the week-end or to the restaurant, to the beach in summer, and so on. I would be happy to chat if you have something interesting to propose !
Hey all! I'm from Glasgow, Scotland. I've been working and living in Sydney for a year now. I've lived in shared accommodation throughout the duration of my stay. So super clean, tidy and respectful. I'm not looking for a party house but do enjoy having a drink or two! I’m a sociable person and would like to potentially make new pals with my housemates. Looking for somewhere long term around 6 months of so. Looking for a private room too :) Feel free to ask me anything Zahrah xoxo
Hello, 31 yr old American traveler looking for a room for rent for 3.5 months. I enjoy sports- mainly volleyball, climbing, soccer, football, and snowboarding. I like to cook in during the week when possible and going out on the weekends. Hoping to find a nice room for rent and some cool housemates :) I will be working downtown so close to public transit is ideal. Housemate-wise would prefer other non smoking, young professionals. Thanks
Hey Im Camilla! I'm 21 y.o from Norway and planning to study at UNSW for my bachelor degree. I'll be moving to Sydney early July for my psychology studies, therefore I'm looking for a nice place to stay for a longer term. I am primarily looking for a room or an apartment to rent. I am a social, caring and positive person that loves to have a tidy and clean environment. I generally like to keep an active lifestyle, and I love going out and being social. I'm looking for someone who's up for chatting, going for a walk or wine occasionally. Feel free to reach out :)
Hi! My name is Robyn, I’m 25 and from the UK! Settled here in Sydney, and working in the CBD. Super clean and tidy, and love to chill at home with a wine. Enjoy working out and socialising with friends at restaurants and bars.
Hi :) I'm a Swiss student in economics coming to UNSW in July. I love to cook, especially Italian ! I am well organized, I love my place to be clean and tidy (seriously). However, I have traveled a lot and with large groups so I can adapt to most situations. I try to read a lot but spent way too much time on youtube. I'm not a morning person but when it is to go rowing, I find the motivation to wake up early. I hope to find friendly flatmates with whom I'll share my new home ! :)
Hi Everyone, I'm Matt, 24 year old Kiwi who has been living in Sydney for the last year and a bit after graduating from Uni back home. Currently working in Sales in the CBD, and looking for a new spot somewhat close (or at least to public transport). Very sociable and outgoing, all ways up for going out for a drink or dinner but also like to keep things quiet if the time call for it. Have lived in a variety of set-ups since I was 18 so know the ins-and-outs of living with others.
Respectful, social, enjoy a few drinks but love having chilled nights in the week and tend to be busy seeing friends on weekends. We have always lived in house shares and enjoy getting to know new people - we'd love to live with people who like to have a chat after work but also respect each others privacy. We both work full time and are looking to stay around Sydney long term if we can get sponsorship - looking for short term currently as we may need to go and do our regional work in a few months.
Grew up in Sydney, I’m easy to get along with and down to earth :) I am a 25 year old female who works full time in the City and studies a Masters part time at UNSW at night. This keeps me pretty quiet and focused during the week. On the weekends I love to get out and about. This usually involves catching up with friends for lunch or a drink, going to the gym or relaxing at home... anything that avoids study really! haha I have flatshared for many years so am always respectful of the others within the house, keep things clean and pay bills on time. I'm looking for somewhere that feels like a home and is kept tidy. I currently have a queen mattress and a couple of other small pieces of furniture so am looking for an unfurnished big enough room to fit this. Also preferably somewhere close to decent public transport to the City. Hoping to find a room in a share house or team up to find an apartment with like minded people. Please get in touch if you think I would be a good fit :) T
Hey my name is Leanne. I'm from Ireland working as a personal trainer in Sydney.I'm looking for a single room to rent in Randwick for 3 weeks from July 2nd to roughly the 25th July but no later. If you're looking to go on holidays for a few week's but don't want to pay for an empty room whilst gone get in touch. I'm a friendly outgoing considerate person and clean up after myself. Leanne
Hi guys, I'm an Aussie/Filo guy looking for an unfurnished place to live in with one other person, as I have a lot of furniture. Easy-going, young-at-heart, professional engineer who likes to work hard and play hard. I'm into holistic health, do weights/yoga/pilates at least twice a week (to keep myself looking young), have traveled extensively around the world. I also do what I can to protect the environment, keep in touch with humanitarian issues and generally have an altruistic outlook in life! I'm happy to meet some people to find a two-bedder (no couple please) who are clean and respectful when peace and quiet is required, but also know when to party and have fun. I'm also very clean around the house and expect the same. Aside from my Aussie mates, I also have lots of Latino and British/Euro mates, so that's a plus if you want a good match! I'm even happy to meet up for a coffee first, so we can see how we get along. I'm also considering getting a dog again, so a pet friendly place is a bonus, but not a necessity right now.
Hi! I'm Laura, 24 and from England. I have just arrived in Australia, currently in a backpackers hostel. As I am not really backpacking, and looking to find a job ASAP, I'm looking to move into somewhere more permanent - length of stay here job dependant, but definitely a couple of months. I'm pretty tidy and clean to live with, enjoy a sociable house and time out too. Not really moved over to Oz to party, very into fitness, mainly running and the gym, snowboarding where there is snow, but don't say no to a few drinks! Hopefully going to learn to surf whilst I'm here too (if you're good at surfing and could teach me that would be the dream, I will pay in banana pancakes). Get in touch if this sounds like a good fit for your house/flat or are looking to buddy up. Cheers! Laura
'm an easy going girl who spends my weekdays at work and my weekends either sipping on wine with friends (out) or binge watching netflix. I’ve just moved to Sydney from the Central Coast. I eat relatively healthy throughout the week and enjoy exercise, but on the weekends I enjoy all the food. I'm social and outgoing but also do love my quiet time. Looking for a house mate who is tidy as I love to clean and someone that I can live with as well as be friends with X
