I'm from Brazil and I've been in Australia for 6 month now. I'm studying Leadership and Management 2 days a week in the city and I work full time as a driver delivering supplies for a tiler. I'm a peaceful, respectful and very tidy person. I like yoga, meditation and I don't eat meat. I like beaches, camping and all outdoor stuff. I like exercising and i go to the gym at least 4 days a weak. I'm looking for a clean and organised place that I can share with good people.
My name is Jess and Im 23 years old from Manchester in England! Im quite active, love to do things at the weekend and explore and go for a drink. However, I am also a very chilled out person who loves movies/tv nights in. I also love food.
We are a couple from Indonesia. We are tidy and quiet (not into parties). We like to enjoy our weekend strolling around town, discovering new places or foods, or sometimes just chilling in our apartment. We respect others' privacy just as we would like ours to be respected. I am working as a senior product manager in one of the tech unicorns in Indonesia. My partner, on the other hand, will study at UNSW Sydney starting from mid February 2019. We are looking for a whole place for both of us to live during my partner's study duration. We plan to arrive in Sydney by Feb 4, 2019, hence it would be great if we could secure a place by then.
Hi! My name is Ashleigh and I just moved to Australia from the United States. I have been traveling up the East Coast, but want to settle down for a little in Sydney. I'm really easy going, am very active (yoga, pilates, hikes, gym), love going to the beach, trying new restaurants and going out to the bars. I also really love and need my alone time however, so I keep to myself a lot of the time. I'm flexible on the length of time I can stay if you're looking for something more long/short term, but ideally I would have a place from mid january-mid march.
Hi! I am a 22 year old girl who has just finished a Bachelor of Science and is about to start working full-time as an environmental consultant (saving the world…not really but close enough). I'll be starting the 9-5 grind in March so am looking for a place to settle into before that! I'm pretty active and looooovee going to the footy (AFL…the purest kind of football) or the beach on the weekend. I'm always in favour of a meal out or a housemates dinner night and love to cook although there is still a question as to how good I am. I'm pretty clean and respectful of people's space but am always up for a chat at the end of a long day. I'm originally from Perth and am keen to continue my Sydney journey with some relaxed and fun housemates!
I'm Kevin, I'm 26 years old and I'm from the Netherlands. I lived on my own for the past 5 years. I sold my house and quit my job to travel and work around the world and also meet new people. My house was always clean and tidy and I like my own space but it's nice to share a place with somebody, because living on your own is really lonely sometimes. My former job was a foreman in road constructions. I already have some appointments for a job interview so I'll hope to start working somewhere halfway januari. I like to eat, I'm a pretty decent cook. I love wine, good company and I'm a very social person who smiles a lot. I'm an easy person to live with, I'm like a chameleon, I'll take over the colour you prefer. If there is a problem, just talk about it and there's always an answer for every problem. A private bedroom is what I prefer and also a person who is clean and tidy. Close to the beach would be really nice because I just started surfing and I wanna learn every day.
We are both quiet, clean, and introverted. we are not party people. open to diversity and others of different backgrounds. we usually just keep to ourselves and occassionally have one or two friends over, nothing extreme. no pets or children.
I'm friendly, easy-going and love getting out and about exploring new places. I've moved over from NZ and always take pride in the house I live in. Looking for a place that has aircon and is fully-furnished.
I am a french man of 27 years old. I m Carpenter and working full time. M’y girlfriend who’s is a 31 Austrian lawyer and I are looking for a place to stay for a month in Sydney. We are very sociable but also respect private moment and intimacy. I love cooking, share stories and glass of wine. I am tidy and clean, and very funny i have to say haha. Dont hesitate to contact me.
Hey there, I am relocating to Sydney (from Melbourne) in early January as will be starting a full time job working in Darling Harbour. Would be great to find a place a week or so before this date so I have time to settle in. I'm 42 (although a young 42!), work in construction and outside of work enjoy seeing live music gigs. the beach, hiking, tennis, painting, yoga, travelling and meditation. I've lived in many houseshares so I'm trained in cleaning up after myself, keeping communal areas tidy and paying rent on time etc. Would be great to socialise with housemates outside of the house from time to time, like sharing a meal down at the local pub. Saying that, I respect other people's need for privacy. I would like my own bathroom is possible and will need a furnished room, at least for a few months until my I ship my bed up from Melbourne.
Hi, I'm Alex and I go to uni at UNSW studying criminology. I'm looking for a private room in a share house with a backyard. Looking for a place that is dog/puppy friendly and close to UNSW. May update further if I think of anything, but to be as concise and clear as possible here's what I know so far. - Important things to share: - - not fussed on roommates age/gender/nationality/sexuality etc but it could be beneficial to be similar in age? I'm 19 btw. - I'm a private person but do enjoy chatting and socialising and if given the chance can talk for hours, so no worries about conversations. - Needs to be LGBT friendly! - Would be great if the place was within walking distance to UNSW, however, as long as it's close to transport to UNSW (e.g. within 45 mins travel) I am not fussed. - Looking for people who aren't 'party people' as such, I enjoy my quiet time but obviously small groups and family is different and this is not applicable! - Want the place to be pet-friendly! I am looking to adopt a border collie pup in the coming months. Depending on the rent price, I am willing to possibly pay an extra amount a week and/or pet bond, and pay for damages possibly caused by the puppy. I am willing to have this drawn up in a contract. I know this is probably a no-go zone but I'm putting out feelers just in case :) I currently work at Oporto near the city part time and will be attending uni just one and 1/4 day a week, the rest I'll be working or chilling in my room or with my future dog (lol). I also enjoy gaming, have a switch and a ps4 which I like to use to unwind. As bad as it sounds, I don't usually cook and eat on the go, so you don't need to worry about me hogging the kitchen, being loud, or making a mess there. Not worried about looks of the house, flexible with furnishings, all I'm really fussed with is it being dog friendly, affordable enough, private room, and close to UNSW. if you read this far and didn't baulk at the puppy part, thanks! Haha.
Hey! Newish to Sydney (moved down from Brisbane 9 months ago). Looking for cool, like minded people to share a place with, and the odd drink/meal every now and then. A bit about me: I work at Google as a UX designer; love a beer or two; and am trying to get back into touch footy down here
Hey ! I am a soon to be 25 years old girl from Switzerland, moving to Sydney to do my PhD in Neuroscience/Psychiatry at UNSW. I'm looking for a quiet and tidy, but also welcoming and warm place to become my overseas home! I like hiking in nature, and would love to take on surfing, but I also enjoy more chill evenings where I cook at home. I am looking for a private room in a flat close to UNWS, preferably walking distance, or max. 20 mins away by bus. I would enjoy to share the place with someone around my age who works full time or is a student at UNSW as well. I enjoy having a drink from time to time, but I would like to stay in a relaxing environment with no parties. I'm currently reading Authority by Jeff VanderMeer, listening to Anderson .Paak's new album, and waiting for the next episode of The Good Place :)
Hi Everybody! I am na easy-going, relaxed, open-minded, cheerful and tidy girl from Europe (Poland), who wants to study (Business related studies) and work in Australia. I have decided to come to Sydney to explore the beauty of the beaches, meet positive and energetic people, learn to make the best coffee in the world :) & get the ‚know-how’ of opening and having your own cafe/coffee shop. I am going to spend little time in the house because of studies & work, however during the weekdays I am hoping at home for serenity to rest ;) during the weekends it would be great to spend some time together, and maybe go out somewhere, but not w must. If you have a room available from 4th, January, please just let me know. I am already in Sydney, being able to meet and get to know each other a bit :) cheers, Anna!
