Hi, my name is Elise. I am a French student and I am starting a master at UNSW in February, to finalize my university degree in France. I would love to socialize with my housemates and get to know each other! I like to swim, to cook, to spend time with friends and I am looking forward to discover Sydney. I am clean and tidy and I enjoy down time as well. I look forward to hearing from you! Thanks.
Hi I'm Miriam :) I am from Mannheim, Germany and I will complete my bachelor thesis at UNSW. I'm clean, tidy, organised, fun and like to go out dance and party. But I also love a quiet evening at home. I can't wait to live with nice people and do a lot of stuff :) I lived in Sydney before for 7 month and I loved it and now I want to see more of the city. I also love the beaches and the sun, I really miss all that in Germany. Here in Germany I own two horses and I do ballroom dancing as a competition sport. I love sports but I also love to sleep and eat a lot of food.. :D Excited to hear from you! Miriam
My name is Indi, a recent graduate from NIDA who is doing contract work around Sydney in theater, arts, construction, and events. For this reason, I'm looking for a central base where I can easily commute to various workplaces. Extra points for natural light, a bit of ambient greenery, and creative vibes. I'm easy-going and respectful, and would love to be around people who share these values.
I’m 26 and moved over to Sydney for work in May 2017 so still pretty new to Sydney and enjoying exploring in and around the city. I work full time as a food product developer. With food being my passion/career, I obviously like to cook and I love to bake (have a massive sweet tooth) ,although I’m trying my hand at a healthier lifestyle (2018 all about the balance!) Contrary to being indoors and cooking I actually love the outdoors - typical South African I suppose. I’m usually chilled during the week as work can get quite hectic, but on weekends I’m always out and about doing something. I’m a positive, friendly, down to earth girl, very respectful of other people’s space and belongings (and noise levels), and I’m just looking for a place that is clean and comfortable.
My name is Aisling.Single. Originally from Ireland but have been living in Australia 9 years. I am an Australian Citizen. I'm currently studying a degree in Psychology and also work during the week. I'm looking for long-term accommodation, not a party house. I'm respectful, clean and a non-smoker.Looking for somewhere close to the beach.
I'm an easy going, pathologically clean, keep to myself but help you in need kind of guy. I work full time in the city. I have a car that I want to park other than on the street.
Hey there, My name is Jess i''m 23 years old and am an actor based in Sydney. I have several jobs to support myself currently working at the Seymour Centre, Rydges bar and as a care worker for young women with disabilities. Besides acting I play guitar, paint and can be quite outdoorsy at times. I am very social but also appreciate spending time on my own. I have some furniture and my own car to get around.
I'm moving from Canberra to Sydney to study media at UNSW. While this is my first time living away from home, I've grown up as part of a family of five living in three (or less) bedroom homes and as such have learned to respect others in crowded living quarters. I've grown up sharing a bedroom, so out of common courtesy I have become a tidy and quiet person inside the house. I enjoy photography and filmmaking, and love to watch films too. I'll likely spend a lot of time at uni, at work, or socialising outside the house, and would use my time at home to study or wind down by reading or writing.
Looking for a place ASAP. We can be very flexible with how long we rent for and our budget is $350 but can definitely be increased for the right place if we love it. Either short term rental for a week or two OR We can also look at renting for up to 3+ months. We may be open to extending even longer but initially we need to see how it goes with our visas as currently we can only stay in Australia until the end of October. We: Are a married couple from the UK Friendly Can be as sociable or as in sociable as our flatmates want Can easily adapt to new living situations Are reliable Are clean, tidy, organised Will both working in the week (HR Manager and Engineer) Love to go out in the week to events e.g. comedy nights, live music, breweries etc Enjoy exploring at weekends in our 4WD- hiking, beaches, camping etc. We will need somewhere to park our car (on street is fine) and ideally internet and bills to be included in the overall rent. Thanks for looking at our profile 😊 (we are on facebook so you can check out our profiles and learn a bit more about us)
My name is Phil (Filip), and I am working as a researcher at UNSW Sydney, starting from February 1. I am looking for people who are interested to team up and to rent some flat close to UNSW. It would be cheaper if we do that.
Hey guys! I'm a female medical student at UNSW. I'm from Oslo, Norway, but in Sydney this semester as an exchange student. I’m looking for a place to call home whilst I’m in Sydney, preferably furnished and within walking distance to the Randwick hospitals and the beach. Hovewer, taking the bus is not a problem at all :) I'm easy to get along with and respectful to my flatmates and neighbours. I love the outdoors and especially all the wonderful beaches and hikes in the Sydney area. I’m also a big foodie and I don’t mind a chat over a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. Please don’t hesitate to send me a message if you have any further questions about me or if you want me as your flatmate/tenant :) Hope to hear from you soon!
We are a sociable couple but not looking for a party house and happy doing our own thing. Jordan is working as a plumber and Gabby is a nurse. We have already been in Australia for the past year and looking for somewhere to stay for the next few months/year.
hi everyone. We are looking for a place to rent early February move in. Just a bit of idea about us, Im Australian and my partner is a filo. We are easy going, respectful, and reliable. We are looking for people that are genuine , and honest to share the unit with. Please direct message me if you have any vacancy. We prefer Eastern suburb area that is accessible to public transportation, chemist, coles/ woolworths. thank you
I’m Brazilian, 32, motorcycle rider, work full time with solar energy all over Sydney and away sometimes. I’m in Australia for 3 and a half years already, after 7 lived in London, making friends is easy for me, but I keep and respect my space and the other’s as well. I go out to hang with my friends most of the time, like to socialize at home sometimes but not really into a hardcore party house. For me home has to be and feel home, clean, easy, personal space with people that are happy to chat while cooking. I do cook a lot myself, love my Brazilian bbq as well as every cuisine in the world and deeply appreciate a cold beer, red wine and old fashion. I worked in hospitality for 10 year so I also make my own cocktails. I’m hoping to find a place with active and interesting people as well, respect and space is everything, but in the end of the day is great to know that whenever a opportunity for a chat comes there is a good vibe, nothing worse than feel tedious or annoyed when get home on a Friday evening. I have no preference of whom to live with, males or females, peoples sexual orientation is not even a question for me. I’m atheist and straight myself with no issue with people’s spirituality since they aren’t the radical ones. Well, I guess I covered all general characteristics of my person, I’m happy to have a good chat and go from there. Thanks for taking the time to go through this.
Friendly, non smoker, clean up after myself, reliable with paying rent/bills on time. Enjoy going riding, kayaking, sport, music. Simply NOT interested in sharing a room. Prefer to be staying near a beach or along a river (eg. Parramatta river) Parking available, but not essential if regular services of public transport to City. If room unfurnished: Need to be able to fit a queen bed. Cheers
I am super easy to get along with and my range of interests makes it a certainty that I will get along with you. Most of all I am incredibly flexible and adaptable. I bring good vibes and guarantee that I will be a delight. I have also worked in a 5-star hotel for the last 3 years so I am an expert in the art of flattery ;)
Hi my name is Sarah and I am a medical student/ part time worker thats looking for a place around the Eastern Suburbs or closer to Sydney University. I have lived in shared accommodation for 2 years prior to 2017, and over the last 12 months I have been a live-in nanny for a family that I worked for. Despite how much I loved living with them, my work and uni hours make it difficult to continue working for their family. I will be continuing to live with them until I find a new perfect home, so the move in day is flexible :) About me! To be honest, I study and work lots!. I spend long days at uni or work and at home I really want somewhere to relax and be stress free for a bit. I am a runner and enjoy sport as well, so you'll find me leaving most mornings at 5am to do some form of exercise. I love cooking and baking as well, and in my previous places, its always been a win! I eat way too much smashed avo, so I'll never afford a house mortgage and love catching up with friends for lunch, a walk at the beach or over coffee :) I am not a huge partier and do not smoke. I'd rather live in a non-smoker place. I am also a vegetarian, but its not a huge deal if you aren't! (I just know that some people keyword that in their searches :)) What I am looking for- from my previous experience in share houses.... * I am looking for a person/people to live with that are clean, tidy and organised * As I said, I'm not a huge party person so I'm not really looking for people who plan on having groups of people over for drinks often at the last minute * female only and around my age *probably only a 2-3 bedroom place * Something kinda long term (at least a year) I have great relationships with my previous housemates and I hope that that can be the case with you as well! If you have a spare room or are looking for someone to meet and possibly find a place together with- please contact me! I'd love to meet up! Sarah :)
Hey guys I'm 26 from Ireland and looking for a private room in a house/apartment for at least 6 months, preferably around the Surry Hills/ Darlinghurst/ Haymarket /Randwick areas. I try to be active during the week and enjoy a sociable few at the weekend :) Im a business consultant so work standard Mon-Fri, 9-5 working hours. Clean, friendly and all the traits of a good housemate :D
Hellooo, I have recently moved from Brisbane to Sydney to study at Notre Dame University. I am easy-going and love to socialise, however, I also respect the space of others'. I'm clean, tidy, and will always help out around the house and do my fair share of chores. On my weekends I will either be playing sport, soaking in some rays at the beach, brunchin' with friends, or studying. Thanks :)
