Hi, I am a student from England doing a full time research placement at UNSW until July. I've been in Sydney for four months and am just looking to move a little closer to the beach! Very easy going- would be happy to come introduce myself anytime.
I am moving to SYDENY NSW on the 22nd of January tomorrow to train circus part-time. I currently live in Windsor Melbs Victoria. I also currently work full-time as a Clinical Myotherapist in Windsor and I intend to find part-time to full time work doing this as well as performance work. I am Looking for a place that is close to public transport and ideally the city, is a maximum $200 a week including bills (internet optional I have alot of phone data). I am looking for a clean quiet space where I can recover and rest well after intense circus training and work. I am 30 female non smoker, non partier, non drinker. I enjoy a good coffee and brunch and I love animals. I would prefer my own room but if you want to team up and share a room that works out to be less than $150 a week including bills, then I am open to this because I wont be there other than sleeping :)
I am a rural boy Software Dev working in the big city CBD. I am relatively quiet and am keen to chill out, but will never ever refuse a cheeky beer/wine and a sit down for a good yarn. I love a clean environment but I'm not about to put you on blast for leaving a pot to soak for a wee bit. Looking for something closer to the beach so that I can feel the sun's good rays once again. Ideally the room would be spacious enough to fit a queen bed and my desk in there. Don't know if ya'll can see my mobile but feel free to hit me up on that too.
Hi! I'm a young professional working in the marketing/hospo/education industries (it's complicated). Looking for a decent-sized, well-ventilated room in a friendly house. Ideally, not wanting to share a bathroom with more than one other person. My budget of $280 is inclusive of bills. Appreciate having a balance between house-mate bonding time with bevs and personal space. In my spare time I love going to markets, op-shopping, music festivals, bars, and being lazy. If this sounds like it will gel with you and your house, let me know! - Erica
Hi, I'm Serena. I'm 28 years old and I come from China. I have been Australia about 5 years and I really love this country. Now, I just graduate this Nov with jewellery design background. Recently, I'm looking for a new accomodation and ready to start my new career life. I'm friendly, down to earth and tidy. In my spare time, I'd like to go to gym, watch movie and painting. I usually quiet but I'd also like to chat with my flatmates or have a drink together. For my new accomodation, I prefer to live with girls, no smoking apartment, less paty. I'm looking forward to my new warm home with you guys.
hi! I'm domesticated professional looking for a room in the Eastern suburbs, duration flexible. My background is in renewable energy and recycling, I currently have an interest in a health care business and do some building work. I'm well educated, travelled and read. I'm the outdoor type in my spare time and like staying fit and healthy. I'm friendly and have a quiet but full social life.
Hi I’m Lucy, I’m 26, just finished my Masters of Architecture, and working full time to become a registered architect. I’m looking to move into another share house in about 2-3 months time with like-minded people, and a laid back and respectful atmosphere. I enjoy time outdoors, the beach, I workout at the gym before work, and live a fairly active life. I’m responsible, a clean and tidy living environment is important to me, and while I like downtime on my own, i’m also looking to catch up with housemates over the occasional dinner or wine. If you think I’d be an ideal fit, say hello! Preferences: no couples, no pets Ps. I’m the one on the left
Looking for a place to call home. I'm 22 years old. I work full time in traffic control. I've lived in the eastern suburbs my whole life. I love being out and about and socialising. Im very easy going and get along with anyone, love a chat and also time to myself. I'm very tidy and considerate of other people.
Hi there, My name is Charlie, I'm 23 from Ireland. I work as a marketing executive and have come to Sydney to grow in that space. I am outgoing but also enjoy time on my own. I like having an active lifestyle. Ideally, I'm looking for a place that is not a party house but somewhere to call home.
Hello :) :) :) I am great to live with as I have lived all over the globe, literally, since I was a kid! I was a Diplomat Brat and have been to school in places such as Singapore..Indonesia & NZ.. The list goes onnnnn and onnnnnn. As an adult, I caught the travel bug and am an online coach and travel the world with my son, aged 3. He's a pretty chill dude, and very respectful of furnishings and space, as he has been to 11+ countries since 6 weeks of age, and more airbnbs than we can count! :) I returned to Sydney, from Glasgow Scotland, and moved into a house which is not as communal as I'd hoped. I wish to stay LONG TERM , ideally 12 months in a house, (hopefully longer if we get the right dynamic). I work from a co-working space (The Hub) during the week, and my son attends a preschool 4 days. We are out and about A LOT (coworking space events...parks..playgrounds...all the free events Sydney has to offer etcetcetc). I have to say that I can afford our own place, and I did this pre moving to the UK, but honestly, after living with people again, I can see my son and I thrive on it and it gets pretty isolating as a solo parent! If you tell me you are a quiet household or that you're out working a lot, without a wish to socialise at home with us, I actually think this is a HUGE MINUS. I want to live with people who are friendly, and well, we are loud ourselves -I play music , as does my son (expect to hear Fat Freddy's drop at 7.30am while we get ready for school...). If you're going to be sitting eating dinner in your room, we won't be suited. I'm a pretty chill person. In saying that, I like to tidy up, clean, and cook a lot! (Don't worry, I don't care if you do or not, I just like to ;-). ) *SUPER OPEN MINDED *RESPECTFUL *RELAXED *LOVE COOKING *FINANCIALLY STABLE *SOCIAL *SUSTAINABLE *DIRECT & AMAZING COMMUNICATOR (no passive-aggressive post-it notes or txts, ugh) *BRING UP ANY ISSUES EARLY & RESPECTFULLY *LGBT friendly *Great music collection, particularly DRUM AND BASS! I get that living with a 3 year old (***HE'S THREE, THE THING WOULDNT LET ME ADD HIM UNLESS HE WAS 16 YRS OR OLDER-HAHAHA) is not everyone's idea of an ideal housemate, and yet I encourage you to meet us, and then judge for yourselves! I come with good references and referees, as does my little dude, just ask :). Also, if you have a whole property you want rented out, I would love to go on your lease! *I also have a fair bit of furniture (dining table/butcher's bench/couch, artwork) which is in storage in Sydney at the moment, from our last home. I would love an UNFURNISHED PLACE. I guess I'll tell you about my favourite living arrangements that seemed to work best for us: BERLIN WAREHOUSE *We had a massive room and ensuite *The house was full of DJs and artists (perfect for my son to enjoy company and they were always making noise themselves, so didn't mind much what he was up to) *we got to be social and have company, but also enough space to retreat when we wanted GLASGOW HOUSE *This was a small space with one other gay woman and her cat. She worked a lot at a bar. When she was home, we were social and shared a vino or three while my son played. Will miss this place!! My son loves all animals and loves giving the dog a walk if you have one ! Spaces that DIDNT work: * People who are allergic to kids (they exist) *Toxic people who are low vibe and negative *If you communicate passive-aggresively via sms or post it notes and have no communication skills *Uptight/super anal people *If you are a light-sleeper (sometimes he wakes up at 5am, that's kids for you) ---Haaaa! That's what earplugs and wine are for riiiight? *If you work all the time and want to come home to absolute peace and quiet (we aren't rowdy by any means, but we aren't house mice either) *If you just want to sit in your room all day/night *If you're unemployed *If you're addicted to substances *****PLEASE NOTE I am currently residing in the Randwick/Coogee area, so would need to give my current housemate adequate notice. Looking forward to hearing from all the high-vibe lovers who'd be keen to setup a great space together or already established a space for us to add to! X Pixie & Zen
My name is Emma, I am wanting to team up with someone, preferably in Zetland/Darlinghurst/Potts Point areas. I have a 8 month kitty so you must love cats ! A bit about me I work full time, I am very easy going. I love to keep fit at the gym, I love yoga, I love red wine and cooking. I am social and love a chat but I also do have my days where I like to just chill and read my book or listen to music. I spend a lot of my weekends at the beach and enjoying the sunshine. I do have most furniture but happy to combine of course. I look forward to meeting you 😊 Emma
