Hi! My name is Emily, I’m looking for a place to move into during October because that is when my current lease ends. I’m super relaxed and bubbly. Love socialising but I also work shift work so me time is important too. I love cooking and I’m a clean person to live with. Message me if you think I’m a good fit for your share house :)
Hello! :) I've recently moved up from Sydney and looking for short-term furnished accom until I figure out where I'd like to plonk long term (and I'm happy to take tips!). I'd like to try a few different suburbs for 2-ish week periods while you may be looking for your perfect flatmate so I could fill in that gap for you too. I don't have any myself but am happy to live with pets provided they're well-trained. One thing I won't budge on is you must be a non-smoker(s), sorry I can't stand the smell. Ideally I'm looking for something with space and an outlook. It doesn't have to be a "view" as such but just open. A built-in is a must and the best air-conditioning available! :D I don't have any furniture but do love reading though so need a place to put some books and also a pushie as that's currently my only mode of transport....speaking of, I need to be within a short (30min) ride to the airport as that is where I work but I don't particularly want to live right across the road. So about me; I'm a considerate shiftworker, easy-going, open-minded, blunt, honest and active. If I'm pissing you off, I'm more than happy for you to tell me so as I prefer to be up-front. I'm a keen traveller and I don't like to be at home much but when I am, it's my haven. I love company but also appreciate my own space so happy to hang out sometimes but also do our own thing. I'm a keen recycler, eat mostly veges but I love the smell of a barbie on any given day! I'm super CLEAN, but my room is usually a mess however I ALWAYS maintain tidiness in the common areas and expect the same. I've lived with others on and off for over 20yrs (Sydney real estate!), my last flatmate for almost 7 of those. My partner lives in Katherine so I will be away every now and then to visit but would also appreciate him being able to stay occasionally too. (He is an ex chef so this could also work in your favour as he doesn't have a kitchen where he is...) :) Being ex-hospitality and a female into sports I have many LGB friends. I am also well travelled so respectful of all communities and cultures (growing up in Sydney may also have something to do with both of those). I love meeting new people and experiencing new things so if you have any advice on things to see, do, eat or experience for a newcomer to Darwin, throw me your suggestions! I am keen to get fitter (biking to work is helping!), love classic Aussie rock (Midnight Oil, Hunters, Hoodoos, Divinyls etc), drink a lot of tea, enjoy playing and watching sport and like to learn new things. Hopefully something there grabs you enough to think I'd be a good fit in your home or at least curious enough to contact for a cuppa and chat. I look forward to meeting you soon. Cheers, Jane. :)
Moving here to study. I'm an easy going, sociable and very chill dude. I love food so I either cook or go out on a food trip. I also like playing video games, watching movies and series. Down for laughs and chill hang outs.
Hi there! My name is Cecilia and I'm heading to the top end for 5 weeks to work full time in law. I'm from Sydney and living in a sharehouse currently. I'm clean and respectful of the common space, but also up for activities and sharing a bottle of wine. I love the outdoors and enjoy rock climbing, running and boardgames. If you have a room and a household that you think would suit, let me know! I'm interested in joining an existing sharehouse or taking a spare room in someone's home.
I’ve just moved up from Melbourne and looking for somewhere short/long term, but ideally long term. Furnished/unfurnished. I keep pretty busy - swimming, cooking, camping, music. Looking for like-minded people of a similar age, who enjoy a casual drink and a laugh at times, but who also appreciate a clean and chilled house. I’ll be away for work a couple of weeknights most weeks. Move date would preferably be end of June, as I have somewhere until then :)
Hey! I’m a teacher and am also completing my GDLP. I enjoy baking, dogspotting, heckling various reality shows, a cheeky pint, various social sports and checking out the great outdoors. Looking for an unfurnished room somewhere sociable but relaxed.
Hi, I'm a project manager working full time for an engineering firm. I've just relocated to Darwin for work and looking for a place to move into to hopefully call home whilst I am here. I'm easy going and enjoy activities: exercise, cooking, having a cheeky drink and being outdoors. I like to keep things tidy and pretty quiet during the week, and are often out exploring or socialising on weekends.
I've recently moved to Darwin for work and want to find a place, so I can find my feet a bit. FIFO worker who will be on site a week at a time. I've lived in sharehouses for years already, and I loved it and would love to do it again. Don't mind a beer and a laugh, I've come from Perth. More than welcome to reach out, I've put here 22nd June, as company is offering accommodation until then but happy to move in before then!
I'm a 30-year-old Englishman about to start work in the Darwin area. I'm quiet, keep myself to myself, clean and respect others. I'm not interested in party houses, although I do like to have a beer occasionally. I love my sport and am a member of a gym in Casuarina so a property within 10-minutes drive of that part of the city would be great.
Hey, Names Andrew. I can adapt to different situations. If your place is a quiet place I can keep to myself and not be a problem. Or if you're sociable I can also accomadate. I'm clean and tidy. Don't smoke. Dont drink much. Friendly.
Hey Y'all, I'm looking for a unit/room until the end of the year (Govt contract) for me and my two (very friendly) cats. Flexible on area/set-up/no of flatmates. Happy to take a 6month lease also. I'm clean and considerate, love music, social but I don't really party. Cheers, Matt
Hi! I am moving to nt shortly from Brisbane and am after a room or granny flat. I have a black Labrador as well, so you would have to be okay with dogs 😊I need to secure something in the next two weeks. I would prefer my own bathroom but am flexible 😊 Thanks!!
I’m an outgoing person who enjoys meeting new people, adventures and keeping active, but I also really appreciate my alone time so frequently disappear with a good book or have been known to binge watch Black Mirror on Netflix. I’ve lived with other people since I was 17 so I’m very considerate and neat. In the last 3 years I’ve lived in Brisbane, Melbourne, The Sunshine Coast and Cairns. I will be moving to Darwin with a full time job in marketing.
Hello! My name is Nikki - I'm shortly escaping the Melbourne cold and moving to Darwin for work. I am a friendly, open and conscientious housemate, looking to share with similarly easy-going people, who care about making their house feel like a home:) I will be working in youth justice policy/advocacy - in my spare time I enjoy exploring, swimming, potting, painting, reading, chatting... and more!
I am a Physio, so you will never have to put up with an injury again. My little whippet,Harvey, and I are looking for a place to call home. I work FIFO, two weeks on, two weeks off, so hopefully we won’t get sick of each other
Hey new housemates/friends! We are a couple in our late 20's, Stephen works FIFO from darwin and I will be working part- time and studying. We are a happy, easy going couple who enjoy being outside, at the beach and the occasional drink and laugh. We a are tidy individuals who are looking for a Granny Flat or a Large double room. Cheers, Vanessa
Peacefull, easy to get along with, respectfull, free spirit, im a musician from melbourne coming to darwin to follow the good weather, love eaoteric conversations, being a musician i keep strange hours, being out alot of the time, i play most of my music when out so i wont annoy you with loud music late at night lol:)
I moved to Darwin 9 months ago from Melbourne. It was a total seachange. I worked as a graphic designer, a yoga teacher and function manager for a catering company. Now I'm up in Darwin working in aviation in a management role. I work long hours and am respectful and incredibly clean and tidy. I don't have much - I arrived with a suitcase and that's about all I have - everything else I own is in storage down south. I'm a great cook, a very good listener, smart and generous. Always on time with rent and bills and can supply references if needed. Ideally I need to be within 5km of the airport but am happy to travel further for the right place. Home is important to me and I like to live in a home, not just a house.
Hi, I’m just back in Darwin after 7 years away, and am doing some Locum work at the hospital for the dry. I am enjoying the awesome dry season- outdoors/camping and catching up with friends, before I head off traveling in mid-late July. Would love to find a short term share house or granny flat, as the hospital accommodation is pretty dismal! Cheers! Claire
24 - Nurse. Recently moved here from NSW. I’m respectful of others, clean, neat and tidy. My interests include gym, sport, cycling and hanging out with friends. I’m easy going, have an energetic nature and can adapt easily. I’m a very social person and keen to venture around and explore what the NT has to offer - I love the outdoors!
Clean, respectful, chill / easy going and an all round good human. Up in Darwin working for Darwin Festival. Soon to be homeless as my current abode has been sold. Looking for a nice place to call home.
I'm tidy, friendly and easy going. I don't smoke, rarely drink and comfortable in my own skin. Happy with my own company or for a chat. Love coffee shops and watching the world go by. I'm a 47 year old pilot. My family will join me in 6 months so we'll find our own place then.
Hi my name is Sabine and I am a friendly and respectfull person. Unfortunately due to a floor issue in my current appartment I have to move out when work construction will commence. I am a landlord of a property in Perth myself and I will treat the place I live in with respect. I also run a cleaning business in Perth and you will get a very clean flatmate with me. I do like a quite and relaxed place and wish to share it with a nice person. No Alcoholics and druggies, had my share of that already. I am working in the tourism Industry and it would be important to come home and be able and rest after a long day at work. I do like sport, dancing and socialising but I will do that outsite my living space. At home I like to rest and chill. If anybody is a peacefull person, who like and cares for animals, nature and healthy living I would like to hear from you. I do love dogs and would be happy to share with someo e who has a dog, also happy to do free walks...
Tom and are and easy going couple. We are clean, neat and tidy. We enjoy other peoples company, however we appreciate people need their own space too. We have lived in Darwin for over 10 years and have just returned to work for a few months before we pack up and travel again.
Flexible with Moving Date. I am mature (with a healthy silly side), fully employed professional who enjoys, music, food, festivals, art, good conversation, road trips, camping, watching movies outdoors, and the occasional shared G&T on the balcony.
I'm currently completing my masters degree at CDU, after having moved from Brisbane. Easy going and reasonably clean, and quiet. Is quite busy with Uni most days. Preferably looking for a place with ensuite or own bathroom that is not too far from Nakara area, CDU casuarina. Have own vehicle so will also be good if there is parking available. If you message me I'll get back ASAP. thank you.
