Not looking for a place until October Hey guys I'm a youth worker, I have escaped Canberra for the winter but will be looking for a place to live when I return. I am at that age where I still wana be social but also enjoy my own space/ alone time. I am a bit of a neat freak not guna lie! I like a clean non cluttered house with lots of plants! I'm vegetarian, prefer to live with other vegetarians/vegans. Love music and drinking tea ( I come with a large tea collection!) Racists and homophobes need not apply. I'm an open book so ask anything : )
Ahoyhoy! Who wants to live with me?! I'm 30, work full time in the public service and come with a small menagerie... My German Shepherd, indoor cat and blue tongue lizard! I tick all the house mate boxes - I'm friendly, mature, responsible, I like a clean house and I love to potter in the garden! On weekends I like to go hiking, get creative or just chill out. I'm hoping to find a pet friendly share house with a master/ensuite or a granny flat (or equivalent) with a yard. I'm ready to move now but also flexible. Can provide a real estate reference for me and the pets :)
From next month I will split my time between Melbourne (where my partner lives) and Canberra. I will be in Canberra approximately 4 nights a fortnight (Mon-Fri every second week) and I am looking for a room in a quiet, professional house - ideally within walking distance of the Parliamentary triangle - where I could stay every second week. I'm a lawyer and I hold a senior position in the federal public service. I'm a clean, respectful and friendly person. My interests are spending time with friends and family, travel, history, politics, languages, reading and spending time outside (e.g. walking and at the beach).
I'm finishing my last semester of uni at the moment and reside in Sydney. I've recently been offered a graduate position with my first rotation being in Canberra. I play a couple of musical instruments and like to jam every now and then and I also like to unwind by chilling alone or with friends watching Netflix. I need a place to stay for 4 months as of the end of January 2020 so I'm hoping to find something here.
Hi I am 52 year old woman moving to Canberra for a job in ACT planning department. I am looking for a single female person of any nationality, age or orientation to share an attractive 2-bedroom townhouse in Bonython. I am quiet but friendly and relaxed and enjoy talking with and getting to know people as opportunities present. I will spend every second weekend in Sydney with my family. I am quiet but friendly, keep a fairly tidy and clean home and enjoy gardening, bushwalking, sketching and practising on my guitar. Look forward to hearing from you.
I have a gov contract til April 2020 and need a Canberra base. Scientist working F/T Mon-Fri. I fly home to Brisbane every 2-3 weeks on weekend to see my partner - kind of FIFO :) I'm quiet and clean lady, non smoker, beer/wine-lover, positive outlook. Looking to share with same. Make my own meals. I read or watch Netflix when home. Share cleaning / gardening. I respect your privacy and like my own and am up for friendly chats. I surf, hike, cycle and do outdoorsy adventures. Need a place for my car and bicycle. Love pets, but sadly allergic to cats.
Hi guys, my name's Daniel and I'm a pilot originally from Perth but have spent the last year and a half in Newcastle. I will be moving to Canberra for the foreseeable future from late September. I'm hoping to find a share house initially as a base for a few months from where I can more easily look for rentals and settle into the new town. I am a really practical and down to Earth kind of guy. I love new experiences and lead an active lifestyle so enjoy getting out for a run, swim, hike/camp, travelling or sampling different local beers. I don't smoke and I won't be bringing any kids or pets and will gladly help out around the place and tend to be pretty clean myself. So looking for kind of the same in a housemate. The ideal location would have a supermarket, some cafes and maybe a pub/bar or two within a short distance but I am pretty easy. Good public transport options are pretty important too. I prefer something on my own up to a share house with a maximum of 4 occupants total and am pretty clean and very considerate myself. So if you happen to have a room or would like to look at starting up a new share house and think I may be a good fit, please feel free to contact me. Cheers! Dan
Hey there I'm Arshia and I'm looking for a room for at least the next 6 months (preferably longer) in the inner south or north. I have a pretty laid back personality and I like living in a clean and tidy place so will happily contribute to chores to make sure it stays that way! I'm also pretty social and love to chat whenever I can, but I definitely respect the need for privacy as well!
From Sydney, just finished uni and moved to Canberra for a full-time job. Love my sports, travelling, music, and always up for a good laugh
ICT policy professional moving from Queensland to Canberra in September. Usually a pretty quiet and chill person usually happy for a chat but can keep to myself if preferred. I have a young cat named spoon, given the situation I may not bring her down immediately. Tend to pass the time by playing a lot of video games, drinking far too much coffee, listening to podcasts, going to gym, and I enjoy parties and going out for drinks. I'm quite flexible in terms of living arrangements. Looking for one of two things, either a short term place to move into immediately once I move to Canberra likely without the cat, or a more long term solution where I could certainly bring my cat and there would be no issues with the pet. Given I'm travelling from QLD I won't be able to inspect the property. Need a furnished room preferably with a desk but happy to purchase my own if required.
I'm new in Canberra, have lived in the Northern Territory in the last 10 years. Just got a full time job in hospitality. I won't have any furniture when I arrive, no car. Enjoy yoga, reading, cooking, hiking, gardening and love big fur babies. I can't stay with people who love party, or being noise. I don't smoke and can't stand smell of smoke too. Like to hang with people sometimes, and also enjoy my own space.
