Hey everyone, my names Phil, I am 32 commercial pilot moving from Melbourne to Canberra around the end of October, looking for a place preferably close to the airport.. I will spend some nights away for work, I am easy going, don't mind cooking, and get along with anyone. Enjoy a quiet night in watching Netflix and talking crap just as much as going out and seeing a movie.
I am moving to Canberra for work. Originally from Country Victoria. I have had vast experience living in share houses and know howto show respect
Hey there - I’m a journalist moving to Canberra to cover politics. Looking for somewhere close to Parliament. I’m very clean, very friendly, and possess an adorable Scottish accent. Plus I alway pay bills on time. The only downside is my cooking, but I'm working on it.
Hey! I'm moving to Canberra from Brisbane for work as a consultant. I'm an always doing something kinda guy, so I really dig going out to the mountains or parks, checking out the city I live in and am really sociable. I don't smoke and I'm not the kind of person to get smashed on drinks every night of the week. I more just chill drink with mates every now and then. I'm a really clean-oriented person so I'd like housemates that are happy to help keep the common areas neat.
Pretty laidback, enjoys music, relatively a neat freak, loves food, both cooking and eating (the latter a bit too much sometimes (w_w). General game freak and gym junkie but always excited to have a few beers or more. Looking to start a new chapter in this crazy book called life and will be relocating for work with Department ofDefence.
Fun loving girl from Wellington, New Zealand currently living in Toowoomba moving to Canberra for a job at Canberra Hospital and would prefer somewhere close or a short commute. Looking forward to making Canberra home and trying to find the perfect place to settle in. Going to be moving for the long term and already have a full time job secured. Would prefer a room to be furnished, for the short term at least if possible :) I will be moving to Canberra around the 26/27th September. I love being active, having fun, exploring, travelling, cooking and have lived in lots of sharehouses before for the past few years. I enjoy having a good time but also respectful during the week, as I have a full on job. Look forward to hearing from you :)
I’m a quiet, tidy, respectful tenant looking to move in ASAP and I am flexible with my length of stay (6+ months is preferable though). I work full time Monday to Friday and spend most of my free time with my horse, Ellie. I love animals so I’m fine with any pets. I appreciate my time alone at home to binge watch lame tv and nap, but I’m also up for a chat/movie/dinner etc if it’s available. I don’t eat meat but I can cook pretty well so it makes up for it!
I’m an honest, reliable, clean and tidy professional. Pretty relaxed but do prefer a clean home and to share with others who like the common shared spaces to be kept tidy. I’m friendly and quite happy to share a meal or a glass of wine and have a chat on occasion but I do like my own space. I’ve shared with 2 girls in their early 20s the past 2 years; it’s been fun to hang out and it’s worked because we respect each other’s privacy and individuality. I am open to sharing with people of any age if they are mature, respectful, trust-worthy, self-aware with a positive, can do, friendly attitude. Art, hiking, cycling, Pilates, Netflix, great food, coffee and wine, board games, authenticity and honesty are all up there as things I enjoy and value. Despite this site requiring preferred suburbs to be listed I’m open to considering anywhere in ACT. ** I’m flexible with length of time to house share - between 3-7 months starting mid October (I’ll be housesitting from May 2019)
G'day, I'm James! I'm originally from Adelaide, but moved to Canberra mid last year. I work full-time as an engineer, but I also study part time as a postgrad at the ANU. I'm pretty sociable and will happily have a chat or a couple drinks after work if thats your speed; otherwise I more than willing to give you your space and keep a low footprint at home. Between work, gym, uni and my partner I keep pretty busy so I like to keep my space at home tidy and try not to be a burden on anyone else. Feel free to get in contact and have a chat, I'm pretty easy going.
Living in Canberra working full time in Manuka I'm looking for flatmates to share in a nice, friendly house that respect privacy but are also willing to socialise, I am very easy going, clean and am used to living with others. Message me if you're interested!
I am from Cowra NSW. I am a Plant Operator working on Ellerton Drive Project in Queanbeyan. I'm easy to get a long with can cook and I don't party much i clean up after myslfe.weekends in Summer is spent on Wyangala Dam with our boat with my family and friends
I'm a current honours student at ANU studying Psychology and working part time in functions. I'm open to pretty much any housing situation. In my spare time I enjoy reading, the gym and the odd video game.
> full-time phd student > friendly and easy-going > respect others' privacy > have a car (so that my roommate and I can go out and have fun on holidays)
I am generally a quiet person. I like binge watching Netflix. I like reading, writing, drawing and working hard. I do enjoy conversation but can be a little cautious to begin with. I come from a big family, so privacy is important and I am tidy and respectful because of this. I don't go out, don't drink or smoke but I have no issues with people that do. I'm a little bit artsy, and like to bake on occasion. Very easy to get along with and generally a happy, calm and kind individual.
I am a quiet person. I don't go out much or have many people over. I am a non smoker. I am a very relaxed person. I have no pets but I am a pet lover. I am out of the house around 9-6 weekdays. Usually away every second weekend seeing family. I am pretty tidy. I don't leave dishes around the place or random bits and bobs. Would like to find a roommate who is clean but not ocd clean. Looking for a room to rent or another flatmate similar to find something together. Ideally looking for one other roommate to rent a full property.
Moving to Canberra permanently for work! Originally from Melbourne but have resided in Sydney for the past year. I’m clean, relaxed and social, I have no preference for gender as long as they are like minded and easy to live with. I would prefer to live in a fairly modern apartment/house so looking at total $530-700 per week with 2 bedroom 2 bathroom set up and for around 12-18 months.
Hi, I'm a 29 year old hospitality professional. I've lived in Canberra most of my life and I manage and run a cafe in the heart of Manuka. I'm an easy going guy, I'm social, clean, tidy and organised. I tend to live reasonably quiet but thrive in the social aspects of my work. I'm passionate about the service industry and personal development. My hobbies include food & beverage, gaming, exercise and sport. I think i would make a great housemate because I will respect personal space, but will also be available for good chat. I only drink when it is appropriate and i don't smoke. I pride myself on being a fair person and I have lived in many share houses.
HI, I'm Krystel and currently looking at finding a room for the next 3 to 6 months starting end of September. I'm originally from France but have been living in Australia for the past 7 years so it's pretty much home. I am moving from Sydney to Canberra for work, and was hoping to eventually get my own place, but it'll be easier to get a room to start off with. I'm super easy going, very tidy, a vegan but I don't care what you eat (no joke! I'm not one of the crazy vegans), and don't intend on bringing the part home. I usually keep to myself but happy to hang out and have a chat every now and again. I am very busy outside of work, so don't spend much time at home so you'd barely ever see me yet I would pay rent! Win Win! I'm also looking for a place for 6-9 months as I'll then be trying to get my own place. Any questions, please ask :)
Young professional who just moved to Canberra. Working full time. Looking for a place to live close to the inner city. I am a friendly, neat and tidy housemate and always respectful for others and their space. At the end of the day I like to kick back with some good food, glass of vino and a movie. Always up for a housemate chat and dinner. In my former life I was a bartender so I can make a mean cocktail or two :)
My name is Tash I'm 24 years old and making the big move up to Canberra in October from Melbourne. I'm starting a new job at a Sydney radio station on the 22nd of Oct so ideally looking to move into a place a few days before that. I like to think I'm super easy going, friendly and most certainly clean and tidy without being too ocd about it! I'm super keen to find a place which will make my transition nice and easy and hope that my housemates can take me under their wing! However, I certainly understand that everyone has their own lives going on and the need for space. If you think you'd like to live with me I'd love to hear from you!
I have just moved from Sydney to Canberra, working at Thales. I am fit, very clean, into hygiene and ALWAYS clean up afterward. I am into cycling and fitness training. I keep myself busy between work and training, but love to have a few drink or diner with flatmate(s). I have moved to Canberra since May and looking for another ideally fully/semi furnished room initially for a 3x months stay but likely extending. The location of the property must have bus stop or cycling path to get to 70 Kent Street, Deakin. As well as waling distance to Woolworth / Coles / IGA, and restaurants is a plus.
Hi! I'm Nadine, a 24 year old architect looking for a friendly, social home in the inner north/south :) I'm looking for a place that I can call home, with people who are up for hanging out (wine, netflix, food!) but also respectful of each others personal space and down time. I'm friendly, easy going, and tidy. I'm a bit of a home body, and love tea, brunch and baking. In my other spare time, I like to explore Canberra and the greater region - hiking, attending Canberra's many events and markets, craft, pottery.. I'm looking for a friendly, happy household with housemates who are up for a chat / to hang out occasionally.
Hiii, I'm Nadja from The Netherlands. I'm moving from the Netherlands to Canberra, because I got a job. I enjoy to have dinner and a drink with a roommate occasionally. I like to go to the gym and to be outside.

My interests are travel, history, politics, languages, learning new things, trying new restaurants and cafes here, spending time at the beach and walking (around and outside Canberra).
I'm a recent graduate from Adelaide who has recently moved to Canberra to start a job with the APS. I love languages (I speak Dutch and Japanese), music, and indoor plants. In my spare time, you'll find me reading, gardening, watching Netflix, or tending to my love of indoor plants. I enjoy my own space and respect others, but am also impartial to a glass of wine and a cheese board at the end of the day. I've lived in share houses before, so I get how it all works. Let me know if you think I'd be a good fit! Looking forward to hearing from you.
I am a young and vibrant individual with an extraordinary zest for life. I prefer a small amount of time with my roomies and a fair amount of 'me time', however I'm always up for a good chat and a glass of wine. I clean up after myself and respect the space of others.
Considerate, friendly and active. Work in the arts. Love roller derby, gym and riding/walking as many places as possible! Love having a clean and tidy house, growing lots of plants, living as waste free as I can, recycling and composting!
Hey! We're a couple moving down to Canberra in Jan/Feb 2019 for work/study. Elena is starting her PhD at ANU, and Oskar is starting work at the ATO. We're both very flexible people - we appreciate the need for private bedroom space, but will happily chill in the living space with other housemates after work and on weekends. Around the house we're both very low maintenance, the sort of people who'll make the effort to wash up the dishes in the evening so we don't have to deal with it in the morning. In her spare time, Elena loves reading, drinking tea, and playing hockey. Oskar plays a lot of ultimate frisbee, listens to music, and enjoys being out-and-about. We're both casual trumpet players, though we only practice once or twice a week so don't worry about the noise! We're looking for 1-3 people to share a house with somewhere within 7km or so (cycling distance) of ANU. We don't have any strong preferences in housemates, as long as they're roughly 18-30yrs old, don't smoke inside the house, and are socially accepting people. We hope to hear from you soon :)
Max, 25 years old, from Toulouse (South of France) and moved to Canberra in Feb 2018 working for Airbus Defence and Space as a Business Developer. I would describe myself as an aerospace enthusiast that loves to travel around the world and broaden my horizons in much subjects like foreign cultures, nature, photography, basketball, hiking or scuba diving to name but a few. I easily get friendly with people, respect their own space and being involved at home keeping the place clean. House-trained for some time now I can get you references from people in France and Australia but also from my workplace. (actual and previous) I am working full-time in Brindabella Business Park (Canberra Airport) but happy to share some time afterwork. I am not Paul Bocuse but I really enjoy cooking meals/baking. At home I enjoy TV shows, listening to music (vinyl records), reading books, taking care of plants, also love all types of animals and spending as much time as I can outdoor (love going to the coast, skiing in the snowy mountains...) Actually staying in Canberra I will be glad to meet you if you may seem interested in my profile.
I am graduating from uni soon and starting a full time position with the public service. I am friendly, funny, clean and quiet and can be flexible with moving dates. I'm always up for a glass of wine and a cheese platter! I enjoy having my own space but also love going out for dinner or watching a movie on the couch. I'm hoping to have my cat live with me eventually, she currently lives in Sydney and is very well behaved. Hope to talk to you soon!
Hi, I'm Ellie! I'll be moving to Canberra from Melbourne for a full time public service job at Brindabella Business Park, and am looking to live in a sharehouse in the surrounding suburbs. I'm looking to move around November. In my spare time I enjoy cycling, catching up with friends for brunch, reading and getting out and exploring nature! I have a partner who may visit a few times a week (happy to either keep to ourselves or socialise!). I'm flexible with my stay - any period of time up to a year :)
