Full time news camera operator Wont be around often but when I am I should have a few good stories From the sunshine coast and looking for a relatively calm and clean environment close to work
Hi, I'm Andrew. I am currently in Melbourne, but am moving to Canberra for a new job in early November and looking for a room to rent/share with a friendly household, hopefully for up to 6 months. Happy to consider an apartment or a house. My lifestyle is pretty laidback. I appreciate my own space but also enjoy socialising over a drink or a meal. I like to cook, exercise, see the odd film or socialise on weekends.
Very busy professional looking for a quiet, clean, tidy and well organised household. I do travel a lot and get along well with a majority of human population :) Looking for a place that doesn't mind some social gatherings, while also respecting my personal space due to the demanding nature of my work. Although chats over fine wine and cheese platter are always welcome :) I am a house owner in another state and relocating to Canberra for work. I shared houses and rented the properties in the past, so I know the drill :p I would prefer the place to be close to Govt circle or public transport, but this is not a deal breaker. I will likely head down to Melbourne every three to four weekends.
Hello, I'm Ben. I consider myself to be a fairly regular 26 year old male. Love getting along with people and open minded. Canberra born and bred. Bit of a Jack of all trades. Trying to get back into keeping active after joining the public service. Do a bit of gaming (Won't chew up too much bandwidth though). I also enjoy a drink and being social, although I'm usually the quiet one in a group. Clean and tidy around the house especially in shared areas. More of a 'clean up after myself' type rather than 'everyone has their turn' but I'm flexible and will fit in with established practices. Not much of a cook but willing to learn. Will do my fair share of housework. Would love to find a place with flat mates that appreciate a really friendly vibe. Would prefer to have a 'trial period' but would love to find the right place to stay at for longer. Cheers,
Hey I'm Angus, I'm a 25yo medical student mostly based at Canberra Hospital next year. I'm looking to move into an existing sharehouse or also open to joining people on a new lease. I've lived in sharehouses before and like to chill over a few drinks or occasionally have dinner together but also respect others housemates' space and privacy. I'm flexible on move-in dates, furniture, etc and looking primarily around the inner south or near Canberra Hospital.
Hi, Im relocating to Canberra at the end of October (from Melbourne) and looking to share with others. I work full time and plan to be active with gym and sport in private time. I havent shared with someone (other than my partner/s) for a long time! At home I like it to be private, peaceful and respectful but thats not to say I dont like being social. Not sure why I cant change the features below - but I actually love cats and dogs so will have no issue whatsoever with either.
I'm finishing my last semester of uni at the moment and reside in Sydney. I've recently been offered a graduate position with my first rotation being in Canberra. I play a couple of musical instruments and like to jam every now and then and I also like to unwind by chilling alone or with friends watching Netflix. I need a place to stay for 4 months as of the end of January 2020 so I'm hoping to find something here.
Lived in share houses in melbs, Sydney, Canada and London....returned to Canberra for family. Love to have a chat or wine with housemates in what's a home not just a crash pad :) enjoy most sports, brunch is the best meal of the day and flowers make the world a better place!
Hi! I'm moving to Canberra in late Jan/early Feb 2020 for a new full time job. I'm looking for other young professionals who are seeking a quiet but friendly household in a modern home - either one that I can join, or one we find together. I'm a fun, independent, and reliable housemate with sharing experience. I appreciate a clean and tidy house with fair cleaning responsibilities, especially in shared areas, but I'm not pedantic and know that life (and long days at work) can get in the way! I don't mind a cheeky class of wine or two and am always up for banter and chats, but also respect space and need it myself sometimes. I love to cook and bake and always make too much, so you'll often get food from me! I also have an xbox and a vinyl record player that I'd be happy to share with the house (as well as a bunch of other furniture and appliances if needed). I have a partner that would visit 1-2 times a month on weekends, but I'm happy to be flexible with timing. I also love pets (especially dogs), so would be more than happy to have one in the house! If you have any other questions or want to know more about me, let me know!
I'm from Melbourne, moving to Canberra for a grad program in February 2020. I'm friendly, easygoing, tidy and independent. I'm happy doing my own thing but also hope to make new friends (as I don't know many people in Canberra), and am down to hang out/shared dinners/movies/bevs etc. I lived in a 12-person sharehouse in Switzerland for 6 months, so I'm used to sharing my space and contributing to chores etc., and enjoy living in a place where there is plenty going on (but also need my downtime). A bit about me: I love to travel, and have lived in France, Switzerland and Canada. I love animals (but am sadly allergic to cats) and sometimes look after Guide Dog puppies in training. I'm an enthusiastic (but not overly talented) skier and am looking forward to being close to the slopes in Canberra next year. I'm a non-smoker, and prefer to live with non-smokers. I'm looking to find other young professionals or students to share a centrally located house or apartment in 2020. I hope to be able to cycle to work, so would like to be less than 10km from Parliament. Feel free to get in touch if you are also in the same boat! Cheers.
Hi! I'm moving to Canberra from Melbourne in 2020 to begin full-time work in the APS. I don't know much about the city, or many people that live there, so I'm looking forward to exploring what's on offer and making new friends. I'm a keen traveller and lover of the outdoors, and I'm hoping to get into cycling and mountain bike riding more when I'm in Canberra. I'm a big fan of sports, playing soccer myself, but also being a passionate follower of the AFL. My free time outside of work will most likely be taken up be keeping active and also socialising at cafes / bars. I'm an organised but easygoing person, and will always make sure that I am a reliable and trustworthy housemate in terms of housework and finances. I respect people's privacy but also would hope to live with a group of people that I can easily get along with as friends. Ideally, I'd like to live in the inner suburbs, but will consider further out if needed. Overall I'm not too fussed, I'd just like have my own room and have it finalised around the start of Feb. Feel free to message me if you might be keen to team up!
