Hi! I'm Soph, a 24 year old female who has just moved to Canberra to start a job as a public servant. I am moving into my own place soon but I need a FURNISHED room for a couple of weeks from mid March until my place is available (all my furniture is in storage at the moment). I don't need much, just a bed really! I'm from Melbourne, where I've been renting with housemates for 18 months. Before that I lived on campus at uni so I know how to live well with others. I've loved getting to know my housemates, chatting over a bottle of wine (or two..) and a meal and having them become great friends. I'm friendly, easygoing and am very keen on cleanliness. I've always kept my place very tidy and am no stranger to household chores! I like cooking (still learning!) gardening and yoga. I'm also a huge animal lover so would be very happy in a house with a pet. I have a car and so can come and visit/view houses after work on weekdays or anytime that suits you on weekends.
Hi friends I am an Melbournian looking for a place in Inner South Canberra, starting mid-March. I have a Singaporean GF. I will "blahh" what we are looking for below, so that everyone can make efficient use of their time. COOKING We generally cook our own meals, so the place we choose will have microwave, gas stove and oven/griller. INTERNET We generally spend most of our time doing stuff through laptops, so a good Wi-Fi connection is important. CLEANLINESS We are both clean and considerate, and look forward to staying with similarly clean and considerate people too. Want to know more? Send a message and we can explore further David
My partner and I are very sociable outgoing people. I absolutely love the kitchen and we love to have house dinners and occasionally like to have a sunday sesh. We are hard workers, love the outdoors and are very tidy people.
Hi everyone. I am looking for a nice apartment for a six month stay while I wait for my new apartment to be built. I'm a full-time professional, nice (it matters!), clean and keen for a place of calm at the end of the day. I've listed central Canberra suburbs only, but would consider anywhere that has an express bus service (20mins) to the city. Jason
Hey My partner and I are moving down to Canberra as he has been transferred down there for work. At present it is a temporary move however it is for the foreseeable future just now. He works full time in demolition and I will be looking for work ASAP having just given up my job in Sydney as a tour guide. As we are new to Canberra we are not too familiar with the suburbs however we think South Canberra would be more suitable for us. We liked the area of Kingston Foreshore with some restaurants and bars to go to so something of this nature is what we are looking for. We are also fairly flexible with move in dates as have some temporary accommodation just now. We are both really easy going people to live with and have lived in numerous share-houses big and small so understand what it means to live with other people. We are ideally looking for a one bedroom apartment or share-house with max 2-3 other people. We are both from Scotland and have lived all around Australia for the last 3.5 years so used to travelling and meeting new people. We are of course fairly sociable although I'm sure like most we also do enjoy time to ourselves too. We tend to go out for dinners and explore places when we can and would enjoy living with other like-minded people.
I am 19 years old and an apprentice plumber.I have previously rented by myself.I am easy going.I am clean and able to cook.I am from the riverina relocating to canberra to finish my apprenticeship.I would like to live with people around my age.
Hi! I'm Tash, I'm 21 and currently in my third (but not quite my last) year studying International Relations at ANU. I'm a born and raised Canberra girl, and am looking to move out of home in order to be closer to uni and work (part-time as a swim instructor/coach). I spend quite a bit of time out and about, and can often be found either swimming or at the gym, but I also love to chill out with Netflix and a cup of tea (T2 New York Breakfast, if you're interested). I like to keep organised, but am very easygoing and happy to help out around the house in any way possible! I'd love a long-term place to live, and am flexible with move in dates. Please don't hesitate to get in touch, I'd love to hear from you!
Hi! I'm Sophie (28) from the UK. I'm an Audiologist and I'll soon be starting a new job in Canberra, so looking for somewhere to live! I enjoy being outdoors and love climbing, cycling, skiing and snowboarding. I also enjoy kicking back on a weekend and having a few drinks!! Look forward to hearing from you :)
I work in property, am quiet and keep to myself most of the time but do love an occasional chat over food. I am clean and respectful of people's space. My interests include cooking, poetry and Netflix.
Sydney (for the moment) based young professional. I'm clean, tidy and always up for adventure. I love to read, listen to podcasts and to watch stand up comedy. Bonus points if you can talk literature, music, quantum physics, cosmology and/or Neil DeGrasse Tyson. Extra bonus points if we can talk politics and if you've heard of Ira Glass. I'll be moving to Canberra to take up a new job and looking to meet new people too!
Stephen and I are relocating for work and need temporary accommodation until we find our own home. (6-12 months) We are easy going couple who likes to have a good chat but also appreciate some alone time. Please let me know if you want to chat. Santana and Stephen
I am born and bred in Canberra. I am looking for a place to reside until around June/July of this year when I plan to move to Melbourne for school. I am extremely clean, cannot stand mess, clutter or dirtiness. I have already lived in a share house once before and it was definitely for me. I really love my own down time, but I am always willing to have a chat and hangout. I have absolutely no problem with smokers. I'm not much of a sharer or food if I'm being honest; grew up with 3 siblings, so like my food and my space. I am a big socialiser and love a fun night out drinking and dancing. I am currently working in hospitality, pretty much all early morning/daytime shifts. I would love a cruisy place to live, but am very, very big on being clean and tidy.
Hey! I am a 23F, who works full-time at Calvary Hospital Bruce. I work week on week off: my week on I pretty much live at work, so you won't see me much, but on my week off I enjoy my down time, travelling, and visiting my family. I'm a social butterfly, and find i'm easy to get along with. I love a social chat/drink, but also appreciate alone time. I can cook, clean, and come completely toilet trained... I also have a Netflix account! (Al-round package here i know!) I enjoy burritos, beer and cheese. Looking to move in with people that have similar traits, can be both professional and friendly, people who don't mind a chat over dinner to wind down after work. If you're an easy going person, and think we'll get along, get in touch- i'd love to hear from you. :) ps: i do have a cat! Meredith- she isn't a make or break though as my parents have offered to take her if i cannot have her with me.

Hey potential roomies! I am moving down from the Gold Coast at the beginning of March for work and I'm super keen on being your flatmate! I'm 22, work full-time in Media and will very much need a spotter at the gym/need to be told the best places to go for a jog.. (not compulsory) My other hobbies include most sports, a lot of travel, cooking to an okay standard, good coffee, surfing badly, anything outdoors really! Preferably, I am looking for someone who is clean, tidy, doesn't mind a drink every now and then... however we all need downtime so that will be respected. I've also got a Netflix subscription so that could be yours at your disposal. Any other questions just drop me a message. Looking forward to meeting your awesome self... I'm hoping to prove my mates that Canberra is more than freezing cold temps and the Raiders!
I am looking for a room. I am a middle aged man who dabbles in writing, performing and counselling. I am 'spiritually' minded, for want of a better word. I have been either house-sitting or renting for a few years after the end of a long relationship. The place I was in Mort St Braddon was sold. I have temporary accommodation thanks to a lovely friend. I like to meditate, go out to places like The Front Cafe or Smiths, art openings and other things around town. I have a lot of friends of different ages. I like reading and going into the bush and I can cook well. I cannot drive as I have a genetic eye disorder but my brain seems to compensate a lot; so other than driving I am quite functional. I am pretty clean and tidy. I can pretty much talk about anything and I am quite 'chilled.' Also, I have plenty in my bank account to pay rent with, just not enough to buy; I am also on the visual disability pension Look forward to hearing from you. Thanks.
I'm a very friendly and easygoing 26 year old, working full time Monday-Friday. I like to live in a clean and tidy place, I clean up after myself and happy to share chores/housework. I always keep my rent and bills up to date and paid on time. I enjoy being social with housemates but at the same time, I respect housemates space and privacy to do their own thing and also appreciate my own. I don't have a preference for housemates gender. Outside of work I enjoy cooking and baking, getting fit, good food, drinks, music and getting out and about - but also sometimes just relaxing at home with a netflix binge! I have no problem with housemates having friends/guests/partners etc visiting and staying however I'm not into 'party' houses and don't host parties. Overall, I am looking to live in a nice, tidy and relaxed place with someone friendly who shares similar interests :) Please get in touch if you'd like to chat more :) My moving date is also flexible.
I'm a 25 year old public servant who works full time in the city. When I'm not working, I volunteer for the Red Cross, go to the gym (every day if I can!), surf on the coast or hike. I've lived in share houses in Canberra for the last two years so I know the drill. I like to help out with chores, share a meal and enjoy beer. Though I'm also happy to chill out in my room if I'm home.

I like to keep neat and tidy and always willing to contribute to the upkeep of the house.
I'm Alex!! I like long walks on the beach and romantic dinners and stuff.. Mainly because I love to exercise and quite enjoy cooking. I've been in Canberra for most of my life and have been living happily in the south of Canberra however my housemates have decided to pack it in and move elsewhere. I work as a courier driver throughout the Belconnen region. I like hanging out with friends and am always up for making new ones. I spend most afternoons either doing a little gaming or netflix'ing. Most weekends are spent out with friends getting loose at moose and all that jazz.
Hello!! I'm looking for a room in North Canberra. I work full time as a public servant in the cultural sector and study part time at ANU (art history + curatorship). I have a particular love for film and live music and sew often. I am tidy and respectful of others' space but am also looking for some fun housemates. I am involved with running local gigs in Canberra's music scene, so keep me in your house if you want your finger on the pulse! I spend my time at home just relaxing or working on small art projects and am often playing video games or reading. I keep to myself mostly, but feel free to knock on my door and pull me out of my room for anything at anytime. Melbournian here moving to Canberra to work in professional services around early March. In my spare time, I’m equally as happy to chill over a glass of wine/cup of coffee or go on random adventures with my friends. I like my space but can also hold a chat over dinner and maybe a wine or 3 :) I don't have any ideal flatmate just someone that likes have a laugh and doesn't take life to seriously. I never really know what to say on these things but feel free to ask any questions.
I've recently finished Uni in Melbourne and I'm starting a graduate position in environmental science in early March. The job is based in Canberra but also includes travel overseas and around Australia for short periods of time. I've lived in a share house for the last 4 years and I'm tidy and respectful of communal areas. I enjoy sports, music, movies and most outdoor activities. If you think I would be suitable to live with it would be great if you could get in touch with me.

I do a lot of creative things during my spare time e.g sound designing, music production, drawing and animating as well as playing sports (basketball, soccer or going to gym).
Moved to australia a couple of years ago and I am looking for a nice sharehouse with cool people. I work as an in an electronics factory doing electrical testing, I don't smoke and don't listen to music without my headphones on so don't worry about being woken up in the middle of the night.I'm a really easy going, tidy, a little bit OCD about cleanliness. Don't hesitate to ask any question you may have.
Hey Everyone! I am Allira originally from Sunny Queensland but came down to Canberra for a government job.
