Hi, I'm Liv. I'm a 24-year-old architect/interior designer recently moved back to Australia after 3.5yrs living and working in Germany. I'm originally from the Gold Coast but am looking to move to Brissy for work. I'm a non-smoker, bit of a health nut and super tidy. I would preferably like to live with people in their 20's who would be up for a chat, glass of vino or occasional dinner. When I'm not working I am usually either doing a gym class, or counteracting it by cooking/baking up a storm.
Heya I'm Lauren. I'm good. I have a little cat called Ahri who is very shy but a good girl. We need a home with a happy vibe to live in within the inner suburbs around the city where I work mornings. 3 fun facts about me; I have no olfactory nerves (therefore no sense of smell). I can slip out of police handcuffs. If I were an animal I would be a lemur. Things I am interested in spending more time doing include; yoga/ stretching, baking, scenic bike rides/ runs, gaming, maintaining pot plants, outdoor activities such as kayaking, making pretty bad art, working out and taking up a sport. Things I already spend a good amount of time doing; recycling, cooking average meals, reading, rearranging my bedroom, playing league of legends, scrolling on my phone, watching netflix, op shopping and not moving while my cat naps in my lap. My catter is an inside only girl so we need a home with people who will be mindful of keeping doors shut. We would love to find a place with a fuzzy friend or two for her as she has lots of playful energy. She had a small dog sister for a while whose company she mostly enjoyed, though it would likely take her a little longer to adjust to a larger pet or one who may be aggressive. My core housemate values 1. Keeping the kat inside 2. Interpersonal communication 3. Cleanliness 4. Recycling 5. Healthy balance of socialisation and alone time Some house sharing related things about me; I keep butter on the bench for spreadability. I highly prefer dishes stacked beside the sink rather than in it. I hate wet bathmats and hair in the sink. I aspire to have cold water in the fridge at all times. I take my tea white with one and often. I enjoy sharing meals. I have a thing for aesthetic lighting. I have lots of pot plants.
Hello! We are Chloe and Chrissie, two friends looking for another person to team up with and rent this lovely house we have inspected in Enoggera. It's a 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom house, the rent will be around 136/week. Very spacious place with huge bedrooms and a 5 min walk to the train and bus stations. The house also allows pets so animals are encouraged :) heres the link for the house we're keen on: https://www.realestate.com.au/property-house-qld-alderley-418814314 Chrissie works full-time with the government and Chloe is studying nursing at QUT and working as a disability support carer. We are both smokers and looking for some chill people who are keen on a chat or a drink and aren't total strangers. We are very easy-going yet also clean and respectful and hope to find like-minded people. Please feel free to send us a message if you think we'd fit in a house well together. Happy to meet up to get to know you a bit :) (0466669211)
Hey there, my name is Oliver and I am a 24 year engineer who works full time in the valley. Have lived in brisbane for the last 18 months after growing up on the gold coast. My favourite activities are tennis, surfing, soccer, hiking, skiing, snowboarding and watching F1. Most weekends I usually go back to Burleigh where my parents still live on the beach with our kelpie border collie (she can be brought up occasionally on request!). During the week I work your regular 9 till 5 that often turns into 8 till 6 as I'm sure most office workers know. My current lease is ending so am looking for a new rental from mid june. On a scale of 0 to total clean freak I'd probably say I'm a 7 or 8 who does like to keep things tidy. If required I would also be happy to bring with me my 60" TV, surround sound system and vinyl and massive movie collection. If it sounds like we would make a good fit and you think we would get along let me know and I can come over for an inspection. Look forward to hearing from you.
I'm a first year medical student at UQ, originally from Sydney. I am looking for a room to move into as soon as possible until the end of November. My studies keep me very busy, so I spend most of the week at Uni, and I like to spend my weekends exploring Brisbane or relaxing at home. I enjoy cooking when I have time. I keep to myself a lot of the time during the week however I am definitely up for the occasional chat/drink.
25 years old Master's student attending UQ for Medicine. I am very easygoing. I've lived with people of all types and backgrounds and enjoy meeting new and friendly faces. My old roommates were two guys Scottish & English who became my best mates and lifelong friends and I've stayed in touch/became good friends with all previous roommates and I hope to do with same with all in the future! I am very active and like to be outside either playing sports or just enjoying the sunshine. I am very clean and enjoy a tidy space, I cook but nothing chef worthy. Have been living in France the past year but originally from the states - Sedona, Arizona.
I’m a hard working young guy who’s dedicated to going to university to pursue education, the kids are our future after all. For now however I’m working at a Cafè in Petrie terrace, mainly kitchen hand work, I’m usually there 4-5 days a week, and out and about or at home during my days off usually during the work week. I’m a simple guy who loves nothing more than a nice beer and and even nicer chat with whomever I end up living alongside. I’m eager to lend a hand any possible way I can, I love to help. I like to keep where I live tidy and clean, just put on some tunes and away I go. Also love cooking, frying and just about any way to prepare delicious meals. I’m looking for house mates who are friendly and love a chat, you can never have too many friends am I right ?
Wanting to move from Perth to Brisbane because my work contract as an admin ends on the 30th of June. Lee and I's main hobby is playing games - specifically overwatch so decent internet is highly preferred (happy to pay extra for an added NBN speed pack). I also enjoy watching movies, chilling and going out from time to time. I'm usually quite adaptable so I can be quite outgoing but we're also happy just chilling in my room if thats what everyone prefers. Any motivation to go to the gym would also be great! I'm looking to stay for a minimum of 3 months or longer. I don't have plans to bring my car over but Lee will need some place to park his car. We will require at least a bed (double minimum), a fridge in the kitchen and a washing machine in the laundry when it comes to furniture - one desk would be great (Lee will bring his own) but I'm happy to buy that when I arrive in Brisbane. The room would need to fit in two desks for both of us. I'm generally quite tidy and can clean up after myself. When it comes to food, I'm happy to partake in a scheduled 'cooking day' or just make our own meals if needed :)
Hey! I am a full time student, working part time as well. I am looking for a room in a sharehouse or a team up, and preferably $160 maximum rent per week. I am looking at Paddington, Red Hill, Kelvin Grove, West End, Coorparoo & surrounds or anywhere that is within my budget. I am clean & tidy, love animals (but don't have any) and would require my own room, private bathroom (not essential) and preferably a place with an off-road place to park my car. Let me know if you have any rooms available or would like to team up!! :)
A tidy, organised couple from Sydney/Hervey bay. We’re both very active people, so we wouldn’t mind if the housemates joined us for hiking trips and on our workout regimes once in a while. We both love to cook so you’ll find us cooking up a storm most of the time. We both are extremely outgoing people and love a good laugh. As much as we love good company we also like to have our space as My partner and I both will also be working from home some days. Josh is studying/working with mental health part-time and also has an office job, while I'll mainly be working in hospitality. We are both non smokers and my partner doesn’t drink, where as I wouldn’t mind have a glass of wine or two on the weekends. We are thinking about a short term stay of 3-6 months as we settle into the new city, as we’d like to just get our own place by at least the end of the year. Hope to here from you.
