Hi I will be looking for somewhere to move in to in early January. Could possibly move a few weeks before hand if needed. Looking for a house share max 3 bedrooms, so everyone can be social but it doesnt feel too crowded. Ive lived in Brisbane for 5 years, working full time. Recently sold most of my furniture so have my bedroom furniture to bring plus washing machine and fridge to bring with me. Last 2 are negotiable. I use my mobile so im not fussed on landline or additional internet provision. Cheers Lauren
Hi all, Flexible with move in date.. Late December to Mid January. I'm looking for a couple of flatmates who would be willing to share with an old girl and her two cats. I'm currently in a unit but with my lease ending in January I thought it might be nice to join a share house again for the social aspect. I have furniture and white goods to sweeten the deal. I'm pretty quite through the week but definitely don't mind sharing a meal with house mates. I have two rescue cats Alvin 2 and Casper 14 they pretty much take care of themselves and aren't much bother at all. Of course I'm anal about kitty litter smells and fur. You wouldnt even know they were there. I'm happy to share with any gender but would probably like to share with at least one male to keep a happy balance. Hope to hear from you Em.
Hi! I'm a full time graphic designer + photographer in a lifestyle PR/marketing company. Relaxed, easygoing and fairly quiet to live with. I'm quiet during the week and spend weekends with friends, at the markets, cooking and being creative. Never opposed to a cheeseboard and wine and will happily sit down for a chat at the end of the day. Huge animal lover so have no issue living with pets. [ preferably looking for somewhere with an ensuite ]
I'm easy to live with, don't make much noise. Can be quiet sometimes, but outgoing once you get to know me. Clean, friendly, into art and loves to cook (got a few cook books), and have a good chat. I will be working full time Monday - Friday (graduate architect) so will be pretty chilled in the evenings. Been in Brisbane for about 4months and love getting to know the city and excellent food spots.
Hi there, I'm Zoe! I am a 33 year old Executive Assistant working for the Government in the Brisbane CBD. I am looking to move into a house (or possibly a large unit or townhouse) within the leafy suburbs of Paddo, Ashgrove, Red Hill or surrounds. My preference would be living with one or two other ladies around my age who would enjoy a casual drink, dinner or a TV series marathon every now and then and are casual and easy going. I also need an undercover car park. My interests include going to the gym, yoga, live music, travelling, photography and bush walking. I am a big cat and dog lover, so living with animals would be fine. At this stage I am flexible around move in dates and happy to consider something in the New Year also. I am also interested in team ups - so feel free to send me a message and we can discuss more. I hope to hear from you soon.
My friend Dana and I are looking to move out with some more people towards the end of January to save some money and meet some great people. So a little bit about us... I'm a recent journalism and PR graduate, currently work casual in Milton while gaining some more experience in PR. Dana studies exercise physiology and works two jobs in the CBD in retail and food services so she's a trooper. We both enjoy drinks on the weekend or just after a long day, nachos (or any mexican food really) and kicking back with some Netflix. We're looking for a house close to the city with nearby public transport and a supermarket. Ideally a walkable area like Paddington but we're open to other places. Must be okay with small dogs! My family has 2 and they might be staying over once a month or less. They're friendly inside dogs, one's a mini poodle and the other a cavoodle, and they spend 99% of their time sleeping so shouldn't be a bother. If you're interested send me a message and we'd be happy to meet up :)
We're a friendly and outgoing couple but also like our times of solitude as well. Both of us will be studying at UQ (business and medicine) so we'll be at the library quite a lot over the semesters. We like to keep our surroundings tidy and are happy to hang out with our fellow housemates for movies nights, dinners etc. Based on feedback, the budgeted rental price is our combined maximum (not including bills). Also, we won't be ready to move until early to mid January as our home base is in Victoria, so we will be down south for the summer :)
Looking for some new roommates and friends?? Look no further than these two fun-loving gal pals! Danielle and I are in the market for a third roommate to complete our new home. We are still looking for a place and are in the middle of the vigorous process right now! We are relaxed, friendly, clean and always up for a good time; whether that means a good night out or staying in with the fam watching crappy tv, its always a good time! While we love and respect privacy, we are always ready for some beers, bants or late night chats and dnms :) I (Kiana) am coming into my last year of university (nursing), work part-time and play a sport at least once a week. Danielle is a freshly graduated primary school teacher, successfully going into her first year of educating our future! Feel free to swing us a message if you're interested! :)
Hello, my name is Sophie. I am from France (born in the West Indies). I come for a few months (for the moment) in Brisbane to improve my english...and my life (VWH)! I will looking for a job as soon as possible. I am a friendly, easy-going person who respects other people. I am able to be social yet have my own space. If you offer, I am ok for swap the rent for doing a few hours cooking and cleaning per week. I like a clean space and house. I like pets, specially lovely dogs.
I'm a fun, creative, active girl looking for a fresh start (just ended a 6-year relationship). I'm a musician and would like to have either a spare room or living area I could set up as a studio. I work (and stay) Friday - Sunday down the Gold Coast as a live sound engineer and teach music lessons from my home studio two afternoons per week. I ride a motorbike and would require an off-street area to park it. Looking for social flatmates who enjoy catching up over a glass of wine at the end of the day, doing the odd "family" dinner or movie & games nights. That said, I certainly respect privacy and personal space. I'm not a clean freak, but I am neat and tidy - especially in the kitchen and communal areas. Excited to find and meet my new flatmates!
Looking for a person to start a share house with me and my current housemate :) I'm an undergraduate student in my second year of Creative Industries at QUT, very friendly and sociable and happy to share cooking and expenses. I'm not a big party animal however I do like to have a glass of wine with dinner occasionally and go out sometimes on the weekends. I work most nights and am around a bit during the day. Jayme works full time hours but not regular, she's around a little bit and is super fun. She does like to go out on weekends and have a lot of fun. So whatever you're into is cool :) Thanks , Sam
Hello! We are a couple (Australian and American) who have been living in the USA for the past few months. We are looking for somewhere awesome to move into in early January!!! We really want to make friends in our new house as we are leaving a lot of ours behind here in Tallahassee. Any orientations, preferences, or identities are a-okay with us, please let us know so we can accomodate your wishes :) We like a beer, a glass of wine, and cooking. We aren't huge partiers, so we are looking for housemates who are just down to chill, watch an episode of something or play some board games. We no longer smoke but if you do, it's not a deal breaker for us. While we are health conscious, we are not vegetarian or vegan (I'm slowly making the transition) but if you are, please let us know so we can make sure we respect your kitchen and food area :) We do own a very friendly small-medium dog (a Kelpie mix named Chia) who is currently at her grandparent's place. She is a true outside dog and prefers to stay outdoors most of the time unless the weather is really bad. Ideally we would like a space with a backyard that accepts pets or already has pets as she gets along really well with other dogs, but we understand it's difficult. She gets very spoiled there so it's not an issue if you do don't allow animals. I'm a hospitality veteran and Mike works in software development so he uses his computers a lot. He will probably also pick up a casual job in hospo or retail. I am also studying Journalism online and I'm in my final stages, so that keeps me pretty busy when I'm not working. I hope to start a placement soon after I graduate, so I'll be out a lot. I am more than happy to pay upfront for the bond and four weeks rent (inc. utilities) if you are interested in taking us. Since we are coming back from the States we have no furniture at all; if you're moving and need to get rid of yours, please let us know! Even just a bed would be a great help. We look forward to meeting you :) Mike and Tayla
Full-time professional, fit, healthy, clean and tidy, animal friendly, studying part-time. Prefer own bathroom and car park in a new/near new complex within 5km of the city. Pool would be a bonus!
Hi, I’m a creative person who dabbles in Photography and Graphic Design. I’m currently living on the Gold Coast looking to migrate to Brisbane in early 2017 to commence studying Entertainment Business Management at JMC Academy in February. I’m open-minded, easy going, respectful and reliable. My interests include watching TV shows (such as: Game of Thrones, Mr Robot, Bob’s Burgers, The Office), music (Nirvana, Parkway Drive, The Smith Street Band etc etc) and films/documentaries like Pulp Fiction, Harry Potter, Blackfish and anything by David Attenborough. I go out to live music gigs fairly often, more than I go out to clubs etc. Not a big party animal however I do enjoy sneaky beverages and good old backyard drinking sessions. I enjoying meeting people of all walks of life and am searching for like-minded people to call somewhere home with. If I sound like a stranger you’d wanna live and become mates with or just wanna suss me out, let me know!
Hey I'm Emily, I'm 19, studying Journalism at Griffith and work a part time job, all weekend, all day along with two internships per week. Besides work and study, I like to read, crafts, go outdoors and also tend to play a lot of video and computer games when uni is finished. So, with my moving in you will possibly gain an Xbox 360 (that looks like R2D2!). I also have a boyfriend that I love to see about 2 to 3 times per week. I am very chill, easy to get along with as well as tidy and respectful of others privacy and I am currently looking to move out of home for the first time.
Sign a lease with me :) I'm looking to move into a new place in January and am looking for a housemate to join me. I'm a 29 year old female employed full time with a 4 yr old very affectionate and well trained female small - medium dog. I have almost a whole house full of furniture with the exception of a second bedroom and some kitchen supplies. Am currently looking at some great 2 - 3 bedroom house/ townhouses that could be fantastic. Am also happy to move into established home if the right place comes along. Let me know if you are interested by contacting me
Hi future flatmate, I currently live in a beautiful flat with beautiful people but the owner decided to sell the unit so here I am looking for another nest. I work full time in IT Project in healthcare. I am pretty active and live a pretty simple healthy lifestyle, going out camping during the weekend or spending time with boyfriend when he's around. My only requirements would be to live in a place that feels like home and a clean kitchen so I can cook my fresh organic food and share the love when I can. Other than that, I am easy going, I can easily understand someone else's perspective and adapt to common house rules. I originally come from France, hence the accent but I've lived in Australia for over 5 years. I'm fortunate to have travelled to a lot of places in the world and have nice stories to tell. I am known to be an amazing flatmate to live with and I have references to share if needed. Let's meet up and see if we click. Any questions, please ask away. PS: Moving out before December 11th.
So I wanting to move out my current place by the beginning of January. Most of my friends aren't in the position to move out with me. 😒 I'm looking for 2 or 3 people to move into a house and call it our own. Based in Paddington, Milton, Red Hill, Ashgrove and Wilson. So if you are interested please don't hesitate to message me and send me your details. Let's hang out, get a coffee or a cocktail. See if we gel and all that jazz. A little bit about myself. I like getting into mischief :) I would consider myself a social bunny. I'm always procrastinating doing my uni work and rather be hanging out on the deck with a drink in my hand or literally anything. I'm easy going , open minded and creative person.
Hi, Gen and I have currently been living in our 3 bedroom appartment in the city for over 2 years. We met on flat mates.com and have been great mates ever since ! So we are looking to expand our house and move slightly out but still in surrounding suburbs as we spend a lot of our time around Southbank and the city. I have a cat named Theo who is amazing. So I would love to find a house/ appartment with a little courtyard or back yard for him. I also grow my own veggies and would love a bigger area ! A little bit about me, I work full time as a manager in a hair salon. I'm a vegetarian who loves the outdoors ! Gen is a full time student studying her masters, the both of us are going to Europe next July for 5 weeks! We became great friends living together and we found each other on this site so we are looking for a 3rd amigo to join us. We generally like to have a few beers/wine to unwind a stressful day. Both super easy going as long as our new room mate is tidy :) Our lease ends next January the 22nd 2017 so we are looking to move out around those dates Message me if you would like to get together and find a house !
Hi my name is Javana, I'm 23 and I work in customer service and also study part time. I am friendly but respectable. I spend a couple (or more) nights with my boyfriend whether it be his or mine so I would prefer a place accepting of couples. I am a private person but I do know how to socialise and be friendly! I am very tidy as long as the house work is shared between everyone. If you think you can help me out please message me! But please make note of my move in date! Looking forward to hearing from you :)
Hi there I'm a med PhD/ neuroscientist (super driven) recently back for the states, to help my folks through a transition. Now it's my turn. (House trained) I read a lot though I'm not really a homebody. I love to hang out, philosophise and have a bit of fun preferably with cool compassionate, empathic, humble, self aware, progressive, respectful people. I’m chill and easy going but passionate and engaged with the world. Life's about being positive and being able to talk to anyone no matter what their perspective but if you dont know who Donald Trump is or think he's a good thing, I'm just not the one for you. Troy
I am originally from Melbourne but moved up to take advantage of the decent weather. I work full time as a paralegal in the CBD and study part time. Enjoy an active life, running, walking, basically anything outdoors. I also don't mind a good Netflix session here and there. A big fan of café hopping! I am social but enjoy my own time as well. Looking for somewhere to live from Jan 2017-Jan 2018.
Hi Everyone I am looking for fun clean and easy going housemates to live with. I am studying Naturopathy at Endeavour College and work as a barista as well as a medical receptionist. I am big into health and fitness, clean lifestyle and early nights during the weeks as uni is normal full on during the semester and generally, I am a pretty chilled person. I like getting out on the weekends, do the markets, brunch, and having a laugh, visiting family. I love the gym, long walks, the beach and yoga. Ideally I am looking for a place with a backyard as I like to put my feet on the grass and I dislike cramped apartments. I also love animals, so I have no problems with pets. I am currently renting a queenslander in red hill with two girls, however the rent is increasing. I am looking to move in very early January, but I am flexible. I have a lot of my own furniture and items, especially kitchen items. And I have everything I need for my room. Please contact me if you would like to chat
Hi there. i'm a tradesman and plant operator, looking for a relaxed place with chill people. i'm a considerate and clean guy who loves cooking and sharing a meal with his housemates. i work fulltime, 6 nights a week, so would prefer housemates that are a bit more mature, and are past the "party house" stage.... :)
I'm a kiwi girl and have been living in Brisbane for a couple of years now. I work full time in health care. I am looking for one person to sign a new lease with. I like to keep areas such as the kitchen / bathroom and living room nice and clean. Apart from dabbling in a bit of social sport during the week, I'm pretty quiet Monday to Friday as I often have to get up early for work. I do enjoy time to myself but at the same time love to have a chat over a glass of wine.
Hi there, My name is Amanda and i am looking to find people to sign a lease on a property with. I am looking at 2 or 3 bedroom places in most parts of inner Brisbane. I have a small dog called Indie too. She is a black and white Beagle x Cocker Spaniel that is super chilled and loves all people. I have all the furniture for the house including couch, tv, dining table, fridge, washing machine, outdoor furniture and all pots and pans and things so you would only need your bedroom stuffs to move in. I would need a place with a courtyard or outdoor yard for my dog so i would be looking at either townhouses or houses mostly. I would like the house to have 2 bathrooms and aircon is a must. I work full time as a Personal Assistant and do Yoga and Dance on a few of the week nights so this takes up most of my time during the week and i am only rarely in the house to eat, sleep, and a little bit of TV. On my weekends i like to get outside with the dog and friends and love my red wine and good eats. Not much of a party animal anymore. I don't smoke and don't do drugs. If this sounds like you please be in contact and we can chat about future living arrangements. Looking to move into a place end of December/early January 2017. Amanda
I'm quite shy but once I get to know someone, I generally become fun and bubbly person to be around. I'm moving because of study and a new environment, I want to start fresh. I've only ever worked in Cafés and McDonalds. I'll be looking for retail jobs or waitressing/bar-work while I live in Brisbane. I'll be doing a bridging course at Mount Gravatt TAFE (Screen and Media) and will hopefully be attending QUT (Bachelor of Creative Industries) in 2018. Ideally looking for a place to stay longer than 6 months. During the days I'll either be studying, working or most likely keeping to myself. I'd love to live with someone I can get along with socially but I'm still rather independent and respect everyones privacy. But overall I'm really excited for the move and hope to find some like minded gal(s) to live with while I'm there. Looking to move in at any point in January as I'll be starting my study on the 30th of Jan. My budget is a maximum of $200 per week. I'm looking for a room or flat that is unfurnished as I have all of my own furniture for my own room and plan on bringing it all with me (Bed, drawers, bookcase, side tables, desk, etc.) Furnished share homes/apartments are cool, so long as the room I'll be shacking up in has space for all my stuff 😅
Hi my name is Cindy..29 yo healthcare professional..I think I am pretty great to live with (my previous housemates can verify..hehe..) I am friendly and laid back. I work a lot (6 days a week) so I am quite busy..and in my down time I like to go for a walk, listen to music/play acoustic guitar, read, or going out and about with some friends...I am happy for a relaxing chat over dinner afterwork or sunday breakfast/coffee. I also respect when people need their own space and down time. I see myself as considerate and clean/tidy (adult common sense..hehe). Look forward to hear from you

Hi Everyone! My name's Mel, I'm 35, originally from Europe. I'm working and also studying. I'm a passionate traveler, vegan, interested in healthy living, yoga. I'm easy-going, and respectful, I enjoy having someone around to chat with at the end of the day, sharing a meal or a glass of wine, but also appreciate privacy. I'm looking for a lovely place in a nice area with own bathroom. :)))
I am a clean, tidy person, and will respect your private space, but also would love to socialise by watching movies/ TV, playing board games or enjoying a nice household dinner and drinks.
I'm a 2nd year nursing student at QUT - which is always handy to have around :-) Looking for a place with other students. Enjoy having chats and getting to know new people. I look forward to connecting with you.

Im friendly, fun, social, super caring and relaxed but also respect others and always clean up after myself. hey! i just finished a uni degree and i'm working full-time to save some dollars to move overseas. i'm looking for a place to live until the end of march. i don't want to sign a lease but i'm happy to pay bond and find someone to replace me when i leave. i'm a really easy going person, i've lived in share houses for years and i love the social vibe but i can respect privacy. i don't mind a drink with my housemates and i spend a lot of time hanging around in the sun. let me know if you have somewhere for me to make home!
We dab a lot. Nah for reals, we like to have a laugh, enjoy music, food, bevvies and chill times. We've been living together for 2 years in paddington but would like to upgrade to a house with another person. We respect each others personal space and keep a tidy house. We are both at uni and work part time, Mia - Nursing, Danae - Criminology/criminal justice and forensic science. Hit us up if you like dabbing and wanna be our housemate. Or swing me a message if you have any questions or want to meet up!
G'day, my names Veronica but go by the nickname of Von. I am a 27 year old registered nurse currently working at the PAH. I have completed my paramedic degree and am hoping to gain employment with QAS in 2017 and continue doing some nursing on the side . I am looking for a large private room with built in wardrobe literally for all my clothes and uniforms. I am wishing to share a place with ideally 1 other housemate, but more importantly I am really looking for something relatively permanent! I would like to move and stay in location for something more than a year! So if you are staying where you are, or you own the property - that works for me! I am an ICU nurse, so interpret that as you will, I am not OCD, but I am tidy, clean up after myself and am conscientious, and obviously lovely and caring being the nurse that I am. Ill respect your belongs as I do my own. I am in the army reserves, play a bit of sport and like to be social - see friends and go out for dinners etc. I have a partner and spend most/half my time with her/at her place so in between work/and life you may not see me all that often. Looking forward to finding my new home and housemate! :)
I'm a student studying Nutrition/Communications at QUT, looking to move in with some cool people around the end of the year or by January 6th (when my current lease is up). I only go out occasionally, but am always happy to have a drink and a chat and be social! I work casually in retail, and when I'm not at work or uni I generally spend my time listening to music/watching Netflix/eating (tbh). I'm clean, don't smoke, and am a chill person generally! Message me if you think we'd get along, ideally I want to live with people I can be good pals with.
Hi I'm Tom. Currently working full time in financial planning. Myself, Alex and Izzy have lived together in a share house for the past 2 years. One of the other housemates is leaving and we are looking to create a new share house. We are currently looking at a lovely Queenslander in East Brisbane and would like another two housemates to put on the application. However if this house does fall through we are open to other properties. I like to live in share houses where everyone gets along as friends, rather then just roomates. All three of us a friendly and social, so shoot me a message. Cheers.
I am looking for a house to share that accepts dogs. I am an easy going, clean and considerate person. I work as an embryologist in the City, so I am looking for somewhere within 5km's of Red Hill.

I am Ryan. A 23 year old professional currently looking for a place in CBD surrounds as my current housemate is moving to be closer to her family. I am a relatively busy person between full-time work in the CBD as a consultant, travelling for work, study and my small business. I also have a love for sport and the outdoors. Despite being busy, I love to come home to great people and have a chat over a beer or glass of wine (housemates who are friends are best!). I am a consistently clean person (usually doing more than my fair share) and having shared houses for 6 years now, like to contribute to making my house a home wherever I can. I have a car that I would prefer to garage where possible and a few things that may require storage depending on room size. I am looking to move mid December but some flexibility around dates. Where possible I would like to lock something in ASAP as I am travelling interstate for work from approx. 21 Nov to 9 Dec (3 weeks)..

I m a 28 years old, full-time Architect in Brisbane. Easy going, clean and social. I spend most of my free time, out for surfing, hiking, riding, running... or drinking at the bar. Had a lot of fantastic experiences in House sharing in the past. That's probably why I love it. Cheers, Brice
I'm a drama student at QUT, so I'm lots of fun and very easy to get along with. I'm clean and polite, willing to get together but also able to sustain myself by myself.
