It's me, 25 years old with my almost 1 year old gorgeous son and one on the way. We are very clean, tidy and peaceful. I am an open minded person yet quiet, non smoker and enjoy the values of life. I love the beach and ocean. We are animal friendly so other pets don't worry us. Momentarily i am undertaking a TAFE course as a interior designer and decorator and searching for a casual job near my new home. I enjoy drawing, crafting and the occasional reading. .
Hey! I'm looking for a room to rent or someone who wants to find a new house near Red Hill/Paddington area. I go home to California over summer but need a new place by end January/beg February. I am a postgrad development practice student at UQ, working part time as well. I love to travel and explore new areas when I have days off and stay on the coast as often as I can. I am super easy going and respectful of other people's space. My room and life might be hectic, but I keep the common areas clean ha. Definitely want housemates I can get along with but I mostly like to relax in my room and keep to myself when I am home, so looking for a quiet house with people who lead similar lifestyles. No couples please or party houses. Prefer to live in a house with a backyard or outdoor area.
Howdy! I'm currently studying full-time at QUT, and work part-time. I'd describe myself as active and bubbly, so I'm usually outdoors or meeting friends. I really cherish my down time at the end of the day in the comforts of home, and seeking housemates who similarly cherish conversation, laughter & peace in the home. I am highly respectful of boundaries, and feel that open communication helps resolve things efficiently. Looking forward to linking up with ya! :)
Hello all. I'm Tracie, I'm a 24 soon to be 25 year old australian gal looking for somewhere to live. Ideally somewhere close to the inner cbd area as I work in Red Hill.. I'm a social person and love getting out and about on weekends and work full time during the week, super easy to get along with, happy to sit around the house and have a few wines and talk about the world... clean, respectful of others belongings and loves a good laugh. Please feel free to send me a message.
Hey! I'm Lauren. I'm a positive, friendly and tidy person who works full time as a teacher. I'm looking for some great people to live with, not just a room. Must love dogs-I have a 6 year old dog, Maisy. Would be great if you also had a dog so she could have a pal! Not after a party house but love having friends over and socialising with a few drinks. I am a non-smoker and enjoy cleaning and gardening.
Hi! I'm a 20 year old student studying law and finance at QUT and work part time in the city. I am clean, and tidy, and enjoy cooking (sometimes Uber Eats helps me out). I am respectful of everyone's space, but am always willing to make friends and have a chat and some drinks after a long day. I am looking for a room to rent, preferably in a furnished apartment or a smaller house. Space for a queen bed would be preferable. I'm super flexible with my available move in date - I can move anywhere from mid December to late January! Please message me if you think I'd suit your place!
I am an easy going, tidy gal in my late 20s. I am fairly quiet and busy but I am also social and having some drinks or sharing dinner with my housemates. I am studying Graphic Design full time, and work part time at Lush, and will be finishing my studies in December and moving into full time work for a while. I have a tween pupper, her name is Bee and she is very sweet, so we come as a bit of a package deal. She gets along great with all other dogs and we would ideally love to live in a house with another dog already. I would love to have a chat and find the perfect place to live!
I've rented in Brisbane before, but I'm currently living on the Sunshine Coast. I'm hoping to move to Bris in January next year whilst studying a 6 month course at tafe. I've had a lot of experience living in share house situations so I'm pretty aware of personal space and cleanliness. I'm respectful e.g. not the kind of gal to bring the party back to the house at ungodly hours (we've all had that flatmate tho), and I love making new friends! I'm pretty laid-back and I'm a little more of a tea & netflix than a ric's @ happy hour gal.
My name is Caitlin and I’m a 23 year old physiotherapist working full time. I’m looking for 1-2 new housemates to start up a new apartment/townhouse in late December/early January. No pets please. Also open to moving into an existing house but I do have quite a bit of furniture that I’d like to keep (fridge, couches, TV, TV unit, coffee table etc). I’m fairly active, and also enjoy cooking/baking. I’m very tidy, and coming home to a clean relaxing space is important to me. I’m friendly and enjoy a chat at the end of the day, but also don’t mind my own space (and am respectful of other’s). I also like to hang out with my friends (sometimes at home) and don’t mind a drink or two on the weekend! Feel free to message me for a chat if you’re interested, can’t wait to hear from you!
Hey! I'm Bre and I'm a full time secretary in the CBD at a corporate company. I'm out all day Monday-Friday and usually out on the weekends. I enjoy my alone time however enjoy chats with my roomies on how our days were and am happy to make meals for the people I live with. I'm incredibly neat and tidy and appreciate a clean house. I have no problems in doing house work as I hate a messy house. I am an adorable little cat names Ari who is the easiest going cat. He's literally hilarious and acts like a dog half the time. He's toilet trained and is an indoor and outdoor cat. He's very cuddly and will keep you company whether I'm home or not. Anyway I'm really trying to move out of the current share house I'm in at the moment as my room mates always have people over, blast the TV all night and make a huge mess everyday. On a happy note I'm nothing like that as I'm hoping you've picked up so hope to hear back :):)
I’m relocting from a small rural town 3 hours out of Brisbane. This will be my second year living out of home and hoping to find a homely house rather than appartment. I’m studying a bachelor of justice/ law at qut and very dedicated to my study. I am neat and tidy, and always respectful. Always up for a chat and watch movies as well as have my own time. Not a huge partier but love spending time with quality friends. Huge dog lover and foodie!
I'm a warm toasted piece of ciabatta. I am a recent graduate from UQ and I'm currently working at a cafe in the city. I'm usually away most of the mornings and afternoon but you'll find me in the early evenings at home struggling to cook. Will be on my next adventure in QUT next year and love to settle down in a warm and respectful home.
I'm a student but also work. Not home all of the time. - Clean - Organised - Can cook - Non Smoker - Vegetarian - Can keep to myself but also be the life of the party.
Hi! I'm looking for a nice place to live close to Milton. I haven't got any due date to move but I want to do it in a couple of weeks. I have good references from my past landlords and flatmates. I always try to keep the house tidy and clean. I'm studying Mondays and Tuesdays and working full time most evenings. I'd like to live with people around my age that enjoy outdoor gym, video games, long chats and learn new languages (I'm Spanish). I find almost every single geek thing interesting. So, if you passion isn't in my list I probably will give it a go. I'm really open-minded, sociable, pet friendly and LGBT friendly. I'm a fan of laughing and having good moments with some wine but I'm not a party person. Also, if you think you drink too much I probably won't be too keen. I'm open to team ups and get a whole unit with somebody else. I just need a good quality/reasonable price accommodation where to live in the long term. If it sounds good don't hesitate to send a message. I'm pretty flexible if the offer is good! See ya :)
I'm a professional trolley herder and sanitation agent for Coles. I'm moving to Brisbane from Armidale NSW to study IT at UQ. In my spare time, I read, write, and rollerskate. Occasionally I tell stupidly funny stories. My job has trained me to deal with 9 different kinds of dirt and disaster, and I've no problem keeping things clean. I currently live in a share house with 3 others, and we all get along reasonably well.
I am a mature full time artist but also actively seeking employment in administration or data entry duties. I’m very social and friendly and respect the need for necessary down time. I enjoy a chat and the occasional social drink and small entertaining. I enjoy quiet moments to enjoy the peace. I like to watch Netflix and documentaries but don’t really gravitate to tv in general. Only series are, Game of Thrones, Vikings and The Last Kingdom. I’m also an avid music lover and scour Spotify for obscure playlists to listen to regularly. Being a visual artist and painting my main medium, I’m seeking additional free space to be able to setup for studio to do my art. I know this could be extra and something to be negotiated in the future for empty garages etc I’m clean and tidy. Love to cook but not every night. I pay rent and bills before or on time. A non-smoker to enjoy back yard barbecues and occasionally entertain a few friends. Social drinks now and then. I love animals especially dogs 🐕 they’re the best companions. More importantly I’m recently seperated and have a beautiful 6 year old daughter. Due to this being such a new and unwelcomed experience my parental arrangements are still being negotiated and discussed. I’m looking for a place for long term to call home (more than 6 months+) close to Taringa/Indooroopilly/Red Hill/West End/HighgateHill/Fairfield/DuttonPark/Milton/Auchenflower/Paddington/KelvinGrove areas. Happy to pay max rent up to $180 inclusive of bills (electricity and internet plus extra space). It’s a long shot I know. This would be increased with negotiation once gaining full time employment. Happy to team up for large house or town house with ample lock up garage space potentially. Thanks for reading and hope to hear something soon. Cheers.
G'day, I'll skip the whole traditional 'I'm so and so and I do this for a living". Looking for a place to lease for 6 months in suburbs including Nundah, Windsor, Clayfield, Ascot or anywhere in or around the city. I'm really easy going but understand that with a share house, you must always uphold a standard so everyone involved can feel comfortable whenever they come home. With this in mind, I'm looking for a 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom apartment with an off-street car spot required for my car. Don't be concerned about my age either, I'm not your traditional 21 year old. About me (yes, contradicting my first line of this description): - Like my health and fitness - Self-Development - Sarcastic and definitely throws sub-par banter - Working in a Hotel but looking to transition into Banking and Financial Services - Spend plenty of time out of home so you may not see too much of me - Study commencing soon (Business.. Interesting I know....) - I'm always up for doing something fun and if you're looking for a friend as opposed to a housemate, we'll get along like a charm - I'm a chill housemate, looking for someone who's fun, active and also respectful of others. Honestly I'm actively looking around the place and need to be out of my current place within 15-20 days, so I'm under the pump. Found plenty of affordable modern places for 2 people. Inbox me if you're interested! If you read this entire novel, props to you! Thanks
I'm a student from Japan. So, I wanna stay with not Japanese. The reason why I chose to live with is that I'd like to have opportunities to communicate with flatmates. I’ll go to QUT kelvin Grove. Hope I could find out shared house near university!
I am a Management Consultant (deal with things like corporate turnaround, people performance management and business process improvement) working on a contract in Stafford…. I am an easy going, non smoking social conversationalist, neat and tidy where I enjoy football coaching and my season coaching the U20s with University has finished. I am in Yeronga at the moment (place is about to be renovated) and am looking for another place to stay involving a furnished room (preferably) and move in to.
My name is Chris. I don’t really act my age, but am actually 42. I didn’t really have any say about this, but I’m from Brisbane. I’m clean and house-trained. I’m vegan, but am totally respectful of others food preferences. I'm not racist, sexist or homophobic. I’m a virgo, if that’s important. I enjoy meeting new people and good chats over coffee, tea, beer, wine (or nothing at all!), though I guess I’m mostly a fairly quiet soul. My first passion is music - going to gigs, listening to it and occasionally making it - I’m particularly into indie, dreampop, rock, post-punk, and electronic music plus the odd guilty-pleasure… I’m always on the lookout for new music to fall in love with. I am an atheist. I have an interest in politics and the way the world is run. I love photography - I’m always taking photos of things. Occasionally the photos aren’t bad. I enjoy reading - I seem to read mainly non-fiction these days, but really want to get back into more novels. I respect the environment and do my best not to fuck it up any more than it already is. I do love a good film too (but really, doesn’t pretty much everyone?) My favourite film is "Withnail & I”. I like to think that I have a good sense of humour and love to laugh (I really get off on smart British comedy especially), joke and smile, but am fascinated by the darker aspects of life. I have been working for the last 10 years as a public servant which is fine, but sometimes I think maybe it’s time for a change. I have travelled overseas a lot in the last 15 years or so, from living in London, Berlin and Ontario, Canada, to several holidays travelling around Europe and a month in India two years ago. I love animals - cats in particular I love bike riding, and walking I don’t have my licence yet, but am learning I really enjoy playing boardgames, and quite like the occasional computer game too. I’m not particularly into sport, but I do enjoy cricket and don’t mind a bit of soccer. I really hate listing stuff about myself - I always think i’ll forget something really obvious about me!
We are probably the most chilled out couple you will ever meet, really just looking for a nice little place with some cool room mates that we can chill out with and watch tv and have some casual drinks with
I'm young but I've been out of home for 2 years, studying theatre, pretty easy to live with, tidy in shared spaces and always pay my bills on time (which should go without saying but apparently not).
