I am an active 23 year old Physiotherapy student moving to Sydney from the Central Coast to return to Uni. I don't mind a Netflix binge or casual brewski. I don't know many people up in Sydney so will looking for people with similar interests that are happy to hang out. I am easy going, clean and happy to help out with any chores. Let me know if I sound suitable for your space. Thanks legends.
I am a warm and easygoing lawyer who is moving to the city for work. Always happy for a chat but also respectful of others' need for space. Clean and prompt in paying any shared bills. Would love to live with people who are relaxed, enjoy an occasional wine or beer and are also happy to do their own thing.
I am a 24 year old form Ireland moving to Sydney on the 17th January. I currently work in Marketing and Sales and will be looking for a full time position. I am sociable, easy-going and respectful of others spaces. I enjoy traveling to new places, trying new activities and going out on the weekend. Like to stay active by going to the gym and also big into music by going gigs and festivals. Looking for like minded laid-back people to share with.
I‘m an italian guy. Very clean and friendly. I play guitar and like to listen to music. Love to watch series. Like to make new friend and to chat. Working part-time as a waiter. Looking for a private room with balcony if possible. Do you what to now anything ever than pm me.
I need accommodation from any time after the new year. I will be working full time in recruitment in the CBD On the weekends I usually see friends, enjoy going out for drinks or food. I’m out of the house a fair deal during the week with work and going to the gym most mornings. I tend to chill at home in the evenings or go out for the odd dinner. I would prefer to live with people of a similar age, laid back, professionals. Not really up for living with just a couple.
Hi! I'll be relocating for Sydney for a job at the beginning of the new year (date TBC). I'm 29, originally from the UK, but I've lived in Aus since 2008. Since moving here, I've lived in Perth, on Christmas Island and most recently in Brisbane which is where I'll be moving from. I am fun, pretty chilled and spend the majority of my time either at a bar, working, cooking or watching tv. I work in the hospitality industry so my life is pretty booze/food-focused, but the role I'm taking will be pretty much 9-5(ish). I'm looking for housemates who are chill, happy to share a drink and a meal together. I spend a lot of my time out and working, so unless I really make the effort to be at home more, I'm rarely around more than one - two evenings a week. I am more than likely going to sell most of my things (because moving furniture state to state is freaking expensive), so I'll be looking for a place that's pretty much furnished outside of my room. Things that make me a good housemate: - I like to cook and I'm pretty OK at it. - I understand that you should unload the dishwasher and reload it if it needs to be done, even if it's not your dishes in there - I am pet-friendly and am more than happy to share cuddle duties - My friends called me "Fairy Squad Mother" because I always make sure that everyone is OK - I always have a large selection of wine, gin, and whiskey - I work in hospo so I know where all the good spots are to drink and eat - I will never watch an episode of a TV show without you that we started watching together - I am single so you won't have to deal with an extra part-time housemate I may work from home a bit (I am still working out the details) so a house that is OK with that would be great! I'm looking for somewhere to make a home, really. I know a big handful of people in Sydney, but I'd like to live with people who I get on with who become my friends.
Hello, I'm Sean and I'm from Canada. I'm pretty easy going around the house, enjoy having a chat and being social when hanging around. I work in the evenings so am often out during the days exploring and checking out my surroundings, always enjoy some company when doing so! I keep things tidy and make sure not to leave a mess for others to deal with. I'm looking for a private room for a month as I'm off to NZ in Feb. Cheers!
Hi! My names' Sam, originally from the UK, I'm 29 and I've lived in Australia for the last 3 years. I'm a very chilled, friendly, open-minded person with the traditional English wit (aka sarcasm). I love to cook and adore a good glass of red. I'm not a super fit person but do force myself to get to the gym at least twice a week, enjoy reading a good book, watching a films, exploring Sydney and relaxing/catching up with friends. I work full time in the city but do work from home 1 day a week. As you can see from my profile pic, I also have an adorable miniature dachshund named Tilly. She's very friendly, housetrained and loves a good cuddle. Fine with other dogs big or small (just takes a few minutes to get to know them but then she's very happy to be besties!). I'm looking for a decent sized room in a house share for me and Tilly. Flexible on location but ideally near ish the CBD or not too far. Happy to share a bathroom etc, would like a nice place with mod cons and ideally an outside area for Tilly. I work from home one day a week and plan to send her to doggy day care 1 or 2 days a week but she is very happy on her own just chilling. Would be awesome to find a place with another dog for her to play with but not essential. Flexible on rent but ideally somewhere around the $350 mark (happy to look at higher for the perfect place) and also flex on move in date but ideally around the weekend of the 12th Jan. I also have furniture but don't need to bring it with me. I would love to find a place that's a real home, and housemates that are friendly and happy to chill out with each other vs just a room in a house to sleep in. (I've put 6 month stay just to tick a box but ideally looking for a long term home). Any questions please let me know! Sam & Tilly x
We're a open-minded and creative couple, living together share-housing for the past year. We'd love to find another place that can become home as when we're not working we value having a nice space to come home to.
Hi there! We’re english backpackers from Manchester on working holiday visas. We’re looking somewhere homely to settle down for a few months to get work and save some money from our previous travels!
Hey! I am a young, easy-going professional looking for a place to call home, not a party house. :) I work in marketing whilst studying an MBA. My hobbies include pole dancing and watching trashy TV shows, and I have the (unfortunate) tendency of crying when my favourite Bachelor contestant is sent home. I am looking to move in by mid-January. I also want to make sure that I am living close to public transport, preferably a train station, and I have my own furniture so am looking for an unfurnished apartment. If this sounds like the right fit for you, please do not hesitate to reach out. I look forward to meeting you! :) Sasha
Hey you, I work as a building ops manager so I can fix/maintain almost everything and what I can't I know a million great trades and discount prices. I love the outdoors, animals big n small, architecture and large scale art, backpacking and cooking/eating pretty much everything. I just want a place that is a little social on weekends but quiet on weekdays. I really like learning about different cultures and the likes so I'm not that fussed about flatmates life choices...... Unless you're racist or sexist I don't have the time for you.
Relaxed, respectful and well travelled guy (Sydney born and raised but have lived and worked interstate and overseas). I have recently returned to fulltime study (Doctor of Medicine at USYD) so looking to live somewhere closer to campus. Much of my time these days is taken up by study, but I enjoy cooking for friends when I have time and going out every now and then. Love to get out of the city for camping/hiking trips. I have a pretty wide range of nerdy interests - language (my previous degree was in Chinese), history, science/medicine, politics, and would be great to have flatmates that enjoy a good chat every now and then (perhaps over dinner/drinks).
Hey, I'll be moving to Sydney mid-Feb for my Master's at UniSyd. Most of my time would go into studies, part time job and football. I like to keep the place I'm staying at, clean and tidy. I'm pretty open minded and chilled out. And I'm from New Delhi, India.
Hey! My name is Angela and I’m 20. I’m starting a new grad job in Sydney, and I’m looking to find a place in the Surry Hills/Redfern/Newtown area, so I’m looking to live with students/young professionals. I am more on the social side. I like being a part of a community rather than being in a house with people who only speak when they have to. I’m looking forward to being in a house with people who are always up for a chat and love to have a great time. I am always down for a good movie/TV marathon or checking out a new market or show. That being said, I also value personal time and space. I am not a clean freak, but I think it is really important to keep things tidy and I always clean up after myself so hopefully, you guys value that too. Looking to lease a room long-term.
I'm a full-time student studying medicine at the University of Sydney. Looking for a quiet place to live close to campus and RPAH. I mainly study and watch Netflix, but do go out occasionally. I like to live very clean and organised, I also cook/eat a lot. I visit my family every second weekend and spend long hours in class, so won't be home all the time.
Hello, I will be attending the University of Sydney for dental school between Jan 16 - Dec 1. I am looking for a clean spot to eat and rest up during the times when I am not at the library. I am a non-smoker, movie/tv show; food; coffee; music; sports (particularly soccer #coyg #HalaMadrid) lover. If you do have a spot, please do not hesitate to contact me. Thanks! ***I listed flexible in whether I want the place to be furnished; I was not sure how furnished is furnished lol but I would prefer there to be the essentials like beds, night-tables, and such :)
