My name is Jonathan and I'm 22 years old. I work 4 days a week in the city as a transcriptionist (typing out what people say), and my main hobby would be music (guitar) which dedicates itself to my spare week day in the form of rehearsals down Marrickville-way. I'm well-versed in the sharehouse lifestyle and am all about staying on top of general tidiness before it gets out of control. I definitely appreciate a good yarn and catch up with the housemates, but also think that quality downtime is definitely important for maintaining a good headspace. Being musically inclined, I like to try and catch shows, have a beer, and see if I can spot a few friendly faces. Cheers for having a read!
I am clean and tidy, obviously pay rent and bills on time without any fuss and I'm a kiwi, so you can laugh at my accent. Just started studying (it's a four month course) and my budget has changed! Working part time with folks living with intellectual disabilities. I am studying design in my spare time. Otherwise I'm exploring Sydney, sleeping, painting, at a dance class or at the gym.
I'm 42 but most people think I'm in my late 20's. My typical social circle/circle of friends consists of people 25-40 and I really don't fit the typical image of what you may think my age implies. ;) I've been living in my current place - a hostel - for months. Go figure haha. I just got a job in Chippendale as a Software Engineer and am looking to move out of the hostel asap. 🙂 I am German but have PR here (looking to apply for citizenship soon), and I have heaps of experience in living in share houses! I'm really sociable and never really keep my door closed but I do know when to give people space and how to respect their privacy. Basically, I'm looking for a new home and new friends to live with. There are a lot of people who just want to share the cost but have no interest in the people they live with, but I want a place that will be a home with people who show interest in doing stuff together. And I'm looking for a place where the rent is shared fairly and where people enjoy staying with others and being friends with their flatmates. I play a bit of guitar and work on my app ideas in my free time and am otherwise quite busy at my job at the moment (just started 3 weeks ago). Apart from that I love the beach and hanging out with friends, cooking the odd meal with my future flatmates, and all that stuff. I also (used to) scuba dive and would love to learn surfing and play soccer and foosball again. If that all sounds cool, maybe let me know if you want to meet me in person? Cheers, Andreas
I am moving from Melbourne to Sydney for work. Ideally I’d like to team up with someone to rent an apartment. I am happy to furnish the apartment (except your bed/mattress) I am a clean, honest professional. Enjoy getting out and about and socialising, but also like my down time. I would ideally like something in the Clovelly, Queens Park or Randwick area. I will be looking to be in an apartment by mid jan. If you are looking to team up, please send me a message and we can discuss options? Liz x
Hi, I'm Jared (sure it says I'm Kara, but it lies!) myself and my girlfriend Kara are looking for a place/room in the inner west Sydney area, and...um, what to write next... What would you like to know of us? We have legs, and my mum thinks I'm cool- we play well with others, what else? We are in our 30s, both love movie/games nights (both board and video) and are both ex bar tenders so make some pretty mean cocktails! After a few weeks of searching for a share house and finding nothing particularly great we have decided ‘screw it! Let’s start our own!’- oh yes, we’re going off the grid! (While still being in all conceivable ways still connected to the grid- cos I like electricity and sewage). I work as a science communicator traveling around Australia teaching kids about dinosaurs and the galaxy (with puppets!) and a bunch of other cool stuff (so you don't even have to worry about me half the time) and Kara is super awesome… except for her spine, her spine hates her and everyone around her- she’s currently on sick leave from the justice department while her spine decides whether it wants’ to keep living with us or go get a place on its own. Kara works for the justice department (well not so much at the moment… she's busy repairing her back from stupid injuries but shall be hopefully back keeping the community safe soon!) If you’re interested meeting up for a coffee/brew/liquid of your choosing and a chat to see if we are people you could live with then we should do that. We'd love to hear from you and are happy to answer any question you can throw at us, however if it’s ‘what is the air speed velocity of an unlaiden swallow’ please specify if it's African or European-
Hey! Im 23 years old from Sweden, new to Sydney! Im looking for a room FROM 22 OF JANUARY in a shared apartment - prefer easy-going amazing people to share it with :). My plan is to work full time, which means Im searching for a pretty quite place, but would love to enjoy some food and a glass of wine now and then!
We're two professional, working ladies from Sydney who love a boogie, Beetlejuice, and eating garlic bread. Looking for a third roommate who is clean and tidy, loves a good chat, movies and wine.
Hello! My name is Brianna. I am from USA on a work and holiday visa. I am looking for a place ideally in the Bronte area, but I am flexible with this (Paddington, Surry Hills, Newtown, Bondi, Maroubra are all other good options too). Move in date ideally Jan 13th. Looking for a place until Feb/March. So short term option needed! Little about me: I work as a virtual assistant and also work casually in Sydney for events. Being new in Australia, I love to make the most of my experience here! I am always keen for an adventure. I am extremely friendly and easy to get along with. I love meeting new people! I am tidy, respectful, enjoy cooking and would love to share some wine with you and have some laughs! Hope to hear from ya :)
Born in Sydney, I have been living in Perth for the last couple years, and now want to come back to Sydney! I may have an alternative side and look about me, but I am a committed, kind, and creative individual with a beautiful cat as a pet. We are both very clean and quiet. I don’t really drink and I don’t do drugs. I like going to work, exploring the city or local area, and I like to spend time at home with my cat and potential housemates!
I’m a 22 yo culinary student from Nepal. I'm completing my course in November end and therefore looking to move somewhere closer to the city since I work in the city. I’m pretty adaptable to new places and very easy going. Kinda chill to live with (if I can say so myself lol) . Looking for chilled out flatmates, preferably similarly aged. I'm out going and love to meet new people. And I make amazing brownies so I guess that’s a plus?
Hi my names Mel.Me and my bf are currently looking for a room to rent. We are both tidy, clean and friendly. I’m a hairdresser part time and study part time. My bf does full time labour work. Looking for around 6 months max. Look forward to hearing from you ! :)
I enjoy having a chat and casual meal and/ or drink with housemates, but also enjoy time to myself - like to think I find a good balance between these two things! I'm very reliable and tidy. I work full-time Monday-Friday, and get out-and-about over the weekend. Any questions, just ask :)
Hi! I am a 27y/o female who will be moving up to Sydney to start a full time job at the end of this year. I've just returned to Australia from London where I was living while I completed my Masters in Human Rights Law and then did a bit of travelling. I have plenty of experience living in share houses both here and overseas and really appreciate the importance of keeping the house generally tidy and staying on top of bills etc. As a housemate I am fairly relaxed, always up for a chat and cup of tea but am by no means a partier. During the week I will be pretty busy with work but on the weekends I am keen to get out and about and explore Sydney (any tips welcome)!
I'm 23 years old and have just moved back to Sydney from Alice Springs. I'm pretty outdoorsy and enjoy going out hiking and camping, but also don't mind eating pizza in front of the TV. I have a job as a casual tour guide in the Blue Mountains and due to the nature of my work am looking to live somewhere pretty quiet so I can relax after long days on the road/in the bush. I am pretty quiet and respectful of personal space, but don't mind having a chat over a cuppa or heading down to the weekend markets with the housies.
Hello! My name is Herenui working full time in Sydney! I am a very clean and quiet person doing my own thing but who won't mind sharing some moments with housemates from time to time. I would like to live in a CLEAN house with similar people who respect common areas and NO PARTY house!
Hi there! I'm an easy going, friendly and independent gal from Germany who's looking for an apartment until late January of 2019. I'm currently working as a waitress to fund my travels around the East Coast of Oz and I'm trying to get to know interesting people from all walks of life while I'm at it. My interests are all over the place but what you should definitely know about me is that I'm a huge bookworm, literature nerd, law student to-be as well as a martial artist of several years and fighting styles (so if you ever need a gym buddy, hit me up!). Being a big culture enthusiast and foodie, I love getting to know new things, trying out stuff I wouldn't be able to back home and finding people who share my passions.
Have received an offer for full-time work in Sydney at a marketing agency with a move date as soon as possible. I currently live in Brisbane and start the new job on the 26th of November, ideally looking to move in on the 24th of November. I won't be able to fly down before the move in date, so the best way to organise an inspection will be a facetime/skype call. I'm 24 years old and am finishing my degree over the summer, studying Fashion Communication & Marketing. I'm creative, sociable and friendly but like my solo downtime just as much. I enjoy the beach, coffee, a cheeky wine and exploring new places - so excited for new adventures in Sydney! I've lived out of home since I was 18 and know how to pull my weight in a share house. Looking for a place close to the city, sharing with other friendly, sociable people. :)
Studying psychology at USYD, a little off centre, super chill, love people and animals :) I’m a proud plant mama with no filter and full of an endless supply of far too personal and totally inappropriate anecdotes. I enjoy company during late night cake sessions (yes, it's a thing), sickly dark humour and poop jokes. (Comes with a netflix and stan account, a blueberry tree named Simone and an infinite supply of free pet-sitting.) Let’s make a home x

I'm a person who loves live in a clean and tidy house, very friendly and I have respect and consideration about my flatmates. I like to have a talk and when is possible eat together as a family. No very fancy having party in house, but once in while don't annoying me.
30 year old professional, working in insurance.... exciting stuff I know ;) Fairly laid back, like to keep an active lifestyle. During the week will usually be gym after work and chilling. Weekends I'll generally be seeing friends and family. Big sport fan (AFL my favourite). Also love to travel, try new restaurants, bars etc. Dont mind a couple of drinks on the weekend but definitely no party animal. Lived in plenty of sharehouses in the past so no issues there. Relocating to Sydney from Adelaide for work late November. Feel free to flick me a message if you think I'd be a good fit for your place. Nick
Please read my profile before sending me a message: Hi there! I'm Tara, 23 years old, I work 9-5 full-time in the Government sector. I'm looking to move out to be closer to work and am looking for a place to call home. I'm a non-smoker and have a boyfriend. In my spare time, I enjoy going to Zumba classes, binge-watching TV shows and documentaries on Netflix, reading about world politics, writing, studying different languages, hanging out with my friends and getting out and about. I'd describe myself as open-minded, quiet, easy going, respectful and tidy. While I like to be sociable and have meaningful conversations, I also enjoy time to myself to chill (especially on weeknights). If you think that we would make a good team then please send me a message! Looking to live with people who are around the same age as me and share similar values (sorry, not open to living with children or couples). Private rooms only, please! And preferably something that is inclusive of all bills and on the train line.
