Hey, My name is Angus, recently moved to Canberra for work, work 6 days a week and up to 60+ hours a week. I'm into fitness and generally not doing a whole lot as I have little time off work, I'm very easy going and I'm very clean.very go with the flow. Love bush walks and anything that he's the heart rate up.
Melbournian here moving to Canberra to work in professional services around early March. In my spare time, I’m equally as happy to chill over a glass of wine/cup of coffee or go on random adventures with my friends. I've lived in a few share houses now so I 'get' housemate etiquette and know how to keep a place tidy. Looking for easy going housemates that doesn't mind the occasional communal dinner/drinks but also respect privacy.
I am pretty chilled guy. Moving to Canberra for work so don't really know many people. 30yo. Gay. I like to cook and most the time it's edible and always happy to cook for an extra. I like my space but can also hold a chat over dinner and maybe a wine or 3 :) I don't have any ideal flatmate just someone that likes have a laugh and doesn't take life to seriously. I never really know what to say on these things but feel free to ask any questions.
I'm moving to Canberra from Sydney to work (full-time) at ANU for a year, beginning early March. I'm originally from Melbourne, and have lived in a couple of sharehouses. I'm pretty easy going and always keep communal areas tidy. I generally prefer to keep to myself but don't mind being social. I have a bunch of kitchenware and a tv, but unfortunately I've sold all my appliances. I'm hoping to share with just one, possibly two, other people.
Hi, I'm Rob. I just landed a job working on a govt contract and am looking at moving down to Canberra from Sydney on 11/12 March (pretty flexible with an earlier date though). A bit about me… I’m 31, originally from Melbourne, gay, enjoy hiking, politics, the arts. Usually spend weeknights at the gym or chilling, and then look to get out and about on the weekends. Have lived in share houses for the past decade, each for 2-3 years. I consider myself an easy-going and respectful housemate. Happy to come down to Canberra to view / meet.
Hi! I am a 4th year ANU law student. I have just returned from a semester abroad. I work part time and study full time. I am an independent, laid back, adaptable and social person. I have lived in shared housing for 3 years and understand the necessities of living with others. I am clean, tidy and respectful of personal space. I enjoy home cooking, a good chat and an occasional drink. I have an extensive knowledge of films and many other interests especially travelling and photography. My parents live 2 hours away on a farm, that produces lots of organic goods! I am looking to share with either a male or female. I will have a car so public transport accessibility is not essential but preferred.
Moved to australia a couple of years ago and I am looking for a nice sharehouse with cool people. I work as an in an electronics factory doing electrical testing, I don't smoke and don't listen to music without my headphones on so don't worry about being woken up in the middle of the night.I'm a really easy going, tidy, a little bit OCD about cleanliness. Don't hesitate to ask any question you may have.
Im a 22 year old, easy-going chilled out dude. 5th year law student, Enjoy: Cheeky bev or 2, good movies and am also massive hummus lover - can guarantee I will keep the house well supplied! Got furniture, tv and cooking equipment - hit me up!
Hey Everyone! I am Allira originally from Sunny Queensland but came down to Canberra for a government job. I am young turning 21 this year but pretty mature for my age, as I am young I'm still learning as we all are. I am outgoing and fun and always try to see the positive in things, I go to the gym and play sports a lot especially touch and netball. I am a big sports fanatic so I do like to just chill and watch sports, big Rugby League fan and just a cool person (well I think haha). If you need personal space I am not an annoying person I like my personal space but I just don't like awkwardness. I don't mind an alcoholic beverage either. I follow the motto always put things back where they belong and if it's not yours don't touch it or ask first. I am clean although I do like a specific day to clean because I do have a full time job and I either play sports during the week or just tired in general. I also study at the moment. And thats me :)
Hello! I will be moving to Canberra for work and am looking at finding share accommodation with some like-minded individuals. I'm a 23 year old environmental scientist who loves the outdoors. I like to keep active (swim, bike, run, gym), and on my weekends will likely be rock-climbing, mountain biking, kayaking or trying not to fall on my face learning how to snowboard. If you think I'd be a good fit, feel free to shoot me a message!
Hi, my name is Christine, 30 years old and I have moved to Canberra two weeks ago. I work in cafe and I am looking for a room for 2-3 months. Preferably quite central as I get around by bicycle and public transport. I love going to the movies, meeting friends for a coffee, travelling, reading, baking and yoga. As I have lived in shared houses before, I know how to clean up after myself and have respect for each others spaces. I am open minded and friendly. If there is a dog in the house, that would even be a plus as I love animals (unfortunately allergic to cats though). I would love to hear from you and if you have any questions, just shoot me a quick message :)

Hi i'm Anna. I'm relocating from Tamworth (regional NSW) to Canberra for full time work. I'm easy-going, enjoy great food and love to exercise and travel. I'm looking for a centrally located room and have lived in shared accommodation before.
Hi I am a 30 year old male professional, Project Manager, who works in the western suburbs. I have just moved to Sydney from Perth in the last couple of months and I am looking to live the Sydney Life and get closer to this amazing city. I have travelled the world and I’m still not done. Don’t think you ever can be. I am into sport, music, concerts, keeping fit and good coffee. I am an active person who likes going out with friends for a social drink or dinner. I have an outgoing personality and I am looking to move in with either male or female who have similar interests. I look forward to hearing from you. Brian
Hi future housemate! My name is Trish and I'll be moving from Sydney to work full-time at the UNHCR in Canberra. I'm very easy to get along with, tidy, very social, but I also respect personal space and alone time. I'd love to be in a shared house with friendly and similar people. For fun, I enjoy exploring, good food, the outdoors, movie marathons and reading.
My partner and I are looking for a household close to ANU, where I study Environmental sciences, and my partner studies mathematics, both in our final year. We plan to stay around in Canberra after we finish up uni to pursue jobs in the public service and academia. Previously, we have been living in a shared Unilodge apartment. We aren't fussy about size as we have lived in small areas before without issues.
Hi there. I am an ANU law student in my final years of study and work as a paralegal. I just moved back to Canberra from an exchange and am searching for a place that is central - ideally a two/three bedroom apartment. I am easy to get along with. I enjoy travelling, exploring markets, good food and exercise. I like to have a chat over tea or a meal, but I am also mindful and respectful of personal space.
Im Amy, I'm 21 years old and about to start my third year at the ANU (: I'm looking for a laid-back but tidy house, and would love to be living with people who are happy to be mates and have a chat, come on a coast-trip or to accompany me on a late-night Kmart run. Obviously though time alone is also super important and I am understanding and respectful of that. I'm completely happy to answer any questions, so please feel free to send me a message any time (:
Hi, I’m Stef. I’m a third year Economics/Arts student at ANU, and I’m looking for housemates who are social and easy-going, but also appreciate the need for down time. I love being around people, and am always down for a chat, a movie, or an impromptu adventure. I’m a pretty good cook, and enjoy sharing food with other people. I am a firm believer in unwinding over a glass of wine or gin, despite being a wine enthusiast on a student budget. I prefer things being tidy, though not obsessively so, but I’ll always do my share of the housework. I love bushwalking and being outside, however the sunscreen is never far away (RIP). My sense of humour can largely be explained by Monty Python, Blackadder, etc., and I am a shameless banterer. My procrastination from study takes many forms, from making fresh pasta or baking bread to Netflix marathons. When I’m stressed, I’m usually quieter, but I’m pretty self-contained and I try not to let it have an impact on other people. I generally avoid confrontation at all costs, but I will call something out if I think it needs to be said. While I love having friends around, and enjoy being generous with my own space, I’m pretty flexible as to the needs of other flatmates. I also come with a wealth of useless movie quotes, an unending enthusiasm for brunch, Hamilton, and facts stolen from episodes of QI or niche periods of history. If you think we would get along well, shoot me a message, and I can’t wait to meet you!
I've just moved from Sydney to Canberra to study at ANU this year, and am currently staying with family while I look for accommodation. I'm ready to move now but am flexible with my moving date. I'm a pretty mature individual, and I keep everything (but my sock drawer) tidy. I'm easy to get along with and I'm always up for a chat/being social, but am happy to keep to myself in the house if that's the go. I love sports, particularly netball, and am always up to attend live games/watch matches on telly. I'm open to different locations, though as a Sydneysider who has spent her life traveling and commuting to everything - I'd love to take advantage of the size of Canberra and live somewhere central.
Hey guys, I am a young professional who has just moved to Canberra from Sydney. I respect if you want personal space but I am down for the occasional banter, dinner outside or playing some sports during the week. Most weekends I expect to be in Sydney.
I'm a super chill person who gets along with nearly anyone! I'd be a reliable housemate who loves to cook, clean, go for hikes and would bring home a lot of pizza/snacks (I work at Dominos). Ideally I want to become mates with the people I live with!
I'm moving to Canberra for my new job with the APS and I'm looking for a share house in Kingston or surrounding suburbs. I'm a non-smoker looking for a friendly house. I respect other people's personal space and always pull my weight when it comes to housework. I don't have any pets but love animals, especially ogs! I'm also interested in teaming up to make a share house.
Hey! I am Kelly, I just came to Canberra one week ago and I am looking for a share-house or apartment near Canberra City. I am currently studying Master degree at ANU. I am a easy-going and tidy person. I am looking forward to hearing from you.
Hey! I'm Aimie, I lived and studied in Canberra for 4 years, currently living in Sydney, looking to move back to Canberra for a short term rental before I head overseas at the end of April! Easy going, happy to have a few beers and watch tv as a house family, or let you have your privacy if you prefer. Let me know if you have anything available, happy to fill in a room for 6-8 weeks to help with bills while you look for a permanent roommate! Thanks :)
Looking to move in with chill, fun people who I can build friendships around but also give each other their privacy. I work full time and like to travel around every now and then. I'm thinking of studying soon but just working for now. I'm pretty easy going but like to have a clean living environment. Also down to start a new sharehouse with anyone :)
I am a 26 year old, second year medical student. I was born in the US but have been living in Canberra for the last 12 years. I am a jazz guitarist, ex-skateboarder, ex-frisbee player and avid podcast listener. I get around by bike. My ideal place would be on a quiet street, with considerate, interesting people, not too far from the city. Please, shoot me a message if you think your place would be a good fit. Cheers, Don
I've just moved to Canberra to do my PhD at ANU. In my free time I enjoy lots of activities including swing dancing and scuba diving. I would like to live with people who have previous experience living in a Sharehouse. Generally, I like to keep relatively clean for shared areas of the house (I have found cleaning rosters work great in the past). Looking for friendly housemates who are easy going and who will occasionally want to share a meal or end of day debrief. I don't have any pets but I love animals so happy to live with them and provide cuddles. Let me know if this sounds like you :)
I am a 22 year old who works full-time in the health field. I am clean and tidy as well as respectful for communal spaces. I am reliable and happy to pull my weight in relation to household chores. I am quite sociable and happy to have a glass of wine and a chat after work. I am also respectful of personal space. I would prefer a room with my own bathroom/ensuite. I currently have a lot of my own furniture from a previous sharehouse and would love to bring these along with me. I would also be happy to start a new sharehouse/ be interested in a team up I would prefer close to The Canberra Hospital. I have no pets myself but I am an animal lover so it wouldn't bother me if the household had pets.
I work FT in science communication, looking for one or more friendly & clean girls to find an inner-city place with a backyard. I have a full house worth of furniture looking for a home. I'd like to live with a female, non-smoker, someone relatively quiet at home, clean & tidy who works FT and is keen to chill out with a wine/ dinner/ lame rom-com every now and then. Looking to find myself an ensuite room because I have a lot of furniture/ impulse control issues when shopping. I'd love a place near the city if possible with a backyard so that I could buy a dog in the future 😊 In my spare time I love adventuring, art, the markets, running and hiking!
I'm Jared, a friendly, respectful, tidy and fun 25 year old environmental science student working fulltime in the public service. I am looking for a room to rent and a new place to call home, in a reasonably central location. I lead a reasonably active and social lifestyle, playing sport, cycling and hiking. I like hanging out around the house/going out for coffee and having a yarn. I am very interested to team up, as I've meet another great person. We're both looking for a third person to find a place with. If you'd like to learn more, don't hesitate to send me a message. Cheers
I'm a South Australian Librarian, recently moved to Canberra and am working for Federal Government. I stick to my room and am a considerate, and clean housemate. I'm a musician and a gamer, however I won't play music loudly unless you're not home. I don't eat meat. I have the most beautiful, gentle and sweet adult cat, who is impeccably trained and thus is easy to live with. I love coffee and do enjoy a drink, but I don't host any parties. I'm serious about having a place with good internet, air conditioning and heating. Importantly, I'm willing to do all the ground work to find a pet friendly house that isn't too far from Civic. Ideally I am looking for a housemate that is around my own age. If you feel like we'd work as housemates, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Hi there, I am a post-graduate student at ANU who has just moved from Sydney. I am a very clean and courteous person looking for friendly housemates! Looking for furnished room. I study most nights and am getting work in the day so wont be there often. Hope to meet you soon!

I'm Laearna, a 24 yr old mechanical engineer relocating for work and Will is a 24 yr old naval architect who i am dragging along with me. He who works remotely for a company in NZ. We are friendly people who like to laugh, get outdoors for adventures, spend nights out with friends or stay in with a drink cooking up something delicious. We are clean, respectful and easygoing housemates and have both lived together and in share houses before. We would ideally like to team up with another couple or some friends and find a place to lease together but would also happily slip into an existing share house if someone was willing to take us. Please get in touch if you think we would get along :)

Hi, we are a family of 3, with a little and shy boy of 4 years. I am an engineer and my wife is a teacher. We are arriving on our permanent resident visa and need a place to order our stay in Canberra, and settle down. Actually we live in a shared house in Christchurch, new Zealand, so we are used to share the bed with our son.
Moving down from Sydney to Canberra and interested in either finding a new place with someone or moving into an already established household. I'm into my sports and pretty laid back and easy going. Have spent the majority of the last 7 years living in shared accommodation with people my age so used to being able to share and take care of joint living areas. Always up for a drink or just a quiet night in watching movies and TV. Have my own bed, drawers, desk, cupboard and TV so don't need the room to be furnished, tho it could save on the removalist costs!
I'm a 29 year-old public servant and part-time student who's been living in Canberra a year so far. I've had about 8 years experience living in sharehouses so far. I'm neat, and a great fan of cooking (for both myself and housemates), I love music, and the occasional bottle of wine, beer, and gig. I'm happy to socialise, but also very conscious of people's personal space and very happy to keep to myself if necessary.
I'm Kirsty, I'm 28 years old and I'm making the move from Melbourne to Canberra to start a new job. I work full-time as a lawyer. I enjoy eating out and visiting new bars and cafes or having a glass of wine at home. I also enjoy dancing, going to the gym and travel. I finish work at around 6:30pm. I'm very low maintenance and would be a quiet and respectful housemate.
25 year old female from canada originally moved to canberra for work. I have a 2 year contract so I will be in Canberra for a while. I am super friendly and social but also like my alone time as well. I cook pretty often and like to go out for a drink or 2 on the weekends. I dont know many people in canberra so to have a housemate that is social would be ideal :)
I'm a chilled, career-focused and happy guy. I'm 29 and will be working in the public sector. I'm respectful of space and also enjoy housemate hangs. I'm into camping, the outdoors, occasional cooking and gym. Keen to find a housemate or two to move in with around City, Braddon, Turner, Reid, and Acton. Feel welcome to text/email me :)
I'm a very friendly and easygoing 26 year old, working full time Monday-Friday. I like to live in a clean and tidy place, I clean up after myself and happy to share chores/housework. I always keep my rent and bills up to date and paid on time. I enjoy being social with housemates and would like to live with someone I can be mates with rather than just someone to share a place with. At the same time, I respect housemates space and privacy to do their own thing and also appreciate my own. I don't have a preference for housemates gender. Outside of work I enjoy cooking and baking, getting fit, good food, drinks, music and getting out and about - but also sometimes just relaxing at home with a netflix binge :p I have no problem with housemates having friends/guests/partners etc visiting and staying. Overall, I am looking to live in a nice, tidy and relaxed place with someone friendly who shares similar interests :) Please get in touch if you'd like to chat more :) My moving date is also flexible.
One of your best housemates garenteed; even a new good mate 😁😁 Respectful, reliable and honest. Really easy going, fun and down to earth. Moving from Jindabyne nsw
21, fourth year of Law/Science/Languages at ANU. Work part-time and on a generous scholarship. Very independent and super busy, but still keen to socialise with new housemates! Very tidy, extremely reliable and highly organised (especially when it comes to finances). Not a bad cook, proactive about getting stuff done around the house, and an all-round decent person. Looking to move in somewhere ASAP!
Heya! I'm Nadine, a 23 year old architecture student studying my masters at UC and working part time in an architecture firm. I'm friendly, easy going, and tidy. I enjoy design, reading, netflix, fitness, brunch and baking! I currently live just outside of Canberra, so ideally I'm looking for a place around UC to make the daily uni commute a bit easier.
Hi I'm a 28 yr old English guy, I've been living in Australia for just over a year, mainly in Melbourne and am moving over to Canberra for a new job. I love to play sports, in particular, soccer and am keen for exploring Canberra and the bars and cafes/restaurants it has to offer.
Hi. I'm Sarah. I'm 21 years old, and I'm looking for like-minded people to live with. I am a chill, friendly, easy-going person to live with. I am tidy, respectful and I enjoy a good household hang out. I am a musician (flute, piano, guitar and vocals), and I love attending live gigs wherever possible. I also really enjoy cooking (for myself and for others). I love films, pop culture and reading. I spend a lot of my free time reading, or watching Netflix. I am a newly converted (wannabe) gym nut. I am focusing on getting healthy and being active. I have an 8 year old White Russian cat named Milo who I would absolutely love to bring along.
Heya! I am a veteran sharehouser who is after a quieter 2 bedroom 2 person set up. I have a stable job working for a private engineering and consulting firm so my work hours aren't extreme and I am generally free weekends and evenings. I am studying librarianship and in my 3rd year of a 5 year study plan. I am after just one other to live with in a non-party, but super friendly set up. I want to become good friends with my housemate. I have an old lazy cat named Molly, so the tenancy would have to be agreeable to her. She is however very docile and kind, strictly indoors and only meows when I'm getting her meals ready, so she is the perfect addition to any household! I am a quiet and kind housemate who has been around the block renting in Canberra (I also have references etc) and enjoy relaxing with housemates chatting or eating. Of course I enjoy my personal space too and could only live with someone who appreciates the same values. My move in dates are very flexible, I have all my own bedroom furniture and have some basic furnishings for the rest of the house if needed (couch, side tables, artwork, cookware, rugs etc) I enjoy a good book, movies and discussion, cuddling with animals and going on adventures. Let me know if you think we might be a good fit!
Hello!! I'm looking for a room in a share house for six months before I head overseas. I know I'm young but I've been living independently out of home for the last year. I work full time and study part time at ANU (art history + curatorship). I have a particular love for film and live music and sew often. I am tidy and respectful of others' space but am also looking for some fun housemates. I'm keen for a backyard so that I can garden and keep a compost bin.
Hi All, I'm Pat and I am recent Civil Engineering graduate. I completed my studies in Wollongong but I have found myself a full time grad position in Canberra. I am looking to move into a room in a share house (preferably an already established one). The office I will be working out of is located just to the south of Fyshwick. If I could find a place that is close to that, it would be ideal. During my time at uni I lived in shared accommodation both on campus (for my first three years) and in private rentals (for the past year and a half). I am 22 years old and like to think of myself as a pretty laid back guy who clean, tidy and respectful. When I am not working I enjoy going to the gym, playing sport and hanging out with mates. I start work on the 28th of February so I would ultimately be trying to find a place by the 10th of March at the latest. Anyway if you have a room and think I will be a good fit for this room don't hesitate to contact me. Cheers, Pat.
I have two months left in my masters degree at UC and am looking for a new home in after spending a few months abroad for a uni placement! I am very nice and super easy going and usually just like to relax in the evenings (Netflix and home made popcorn). I like yoga and going for jogs and walks around the lake. I like to go for brunch or coffee on weekends at many of Canberra's cafes and spending time with friends or just staying in. I am hoping to find a friend to flatmate with so let me know if you think we would get along :) Lily
