Hey! My name is Jordyn, I'm 18 and work full time retail in the city. I have been living out of home for almost a year and am keen on finding a permanent place to live. I am super clean and tidy and like to keep to myself. I am very respectful of others' privacy and belongings, and obviously expect the same in return! I don't have pets, but I don't mind them at all. I own most of my own furniture already, so unfurnished rooms are preferable. I am looking for a mid-long term stay. Keen to hang out with other roommates from time to time, but am definitely not a party person, so I won't clog up your house with an excess of guests. I am independent, responsible and reliable. I'm quiet, but very friendly and down to earth. I am planning on beginning university early next year, so I wouldn't mind sharing with other uni kids, also. I'm a vego, so I'll be doing my own cooking a lot of the time (and cleaning up too, of course), so if you're keen on trying some of my concoctions, let me know. Just a typical 18 year old gal - I enjoy reading, chilling outside, cooking, Netflix binging and listening to music. Look forward to hearing from you!
Hey future roomie! As you'd probably already established, I'm Georga, I am 25 years young (old) and am currently living in Franklin I moved to Canberra a little over a year ago and absolutely adore it here. I work in construction full time, and do 1, maybe 2 waitressing shifts a week at the Dickson Tradies. (This supports my Kmart habit) I quite like a drink, and love nothing more than cutting loose on weekends (I start work super early during the week so no late nights for this Grandma) I am a very social person and would like entertaining friends on the weekends with BBQ's and wines. Not fussed on the area, anywhere North side. I come with bedroom furniture a BBQ and an outdoor lounge setting. Ideally looking for a room with ensuite, but that’s not a deal breaker. Parking is a must though. About you: I would love to live in a sociable, friendly and generally happy happy household. X
I’m outdoorsy, a foodie and coffee lover, somewhat social but do like my own time occasionally. Would prefer (obviously not a big issue) if housemates were also fit, adventures or outdoorsy aswell. Also if you speak Portuguese or Spanish or any other language (I don’t but would love to learn and be in a household that does)
I am a youthful 55yrs post-surgery Transgender person who is very easy going. I'm currently at University of Canberra studying Bch Of Public Health. I am mostly seeking to start a new share property, but an existing sharehouse with space is good too! Anyone willing to move into 'fresh' accommodation and start a new sharehouse with me would be ideal! Just 2-3 people including me would be preferable. You would need to be willing to sign-up to a joint lease with all tenants. I can basically furnish a large home if necessary. However I don't have a dining suite or a lounge suite. * Kitchen = very large twin door fridge, microwave and just about every cooking item you could want! * Living = large timber pieces including wall units, bookcase, hallway table and entertainment unit (for television, etc). * Laundry = front loading washing machine, ironing board, etc. * Outside = lawn mower, whipper snipper, water hose, etc. The selfish bit! I have a seven piece bedroom suite, so i'd be requiring the largest bedroom in a property. I also have a study desk in my bedroom where i'm currently living. (I've kinda got used to this set-up!) I have an existing NBN Internet contract with unlimited data and a 100mb speed connection. It also includes the Optus 'Fetch' TV with 6 channels and access to netflix, etc. If I/we can source a new property in an existing NBN suburb, I can transfer the service to that location. (I know many suburbs to the West of Belconnen are being wired-up for NBN soon.) Although I can wait until June 30, I am hoping to find a new place to live anytime from earlier in the month. My share of any rent would be $210 per week maximum (I am a Uni student after all.) I'd prefer a property that is in very good condition and located on the North side of Canberra - ideally within reasonable travel distance to the University of Canberra. But i'm flexible for the 'right' property. I think of home as a relaxing place to escape the 'noise' of our busy and stressful lives. So anyone who wants to live in a comfortable, quiet home environment, i'd like to hear from you! Having said that, friends dropping by is a good thing! I like to cook a dinner for my friends every so often and i'd be more than happy for my housemates to join in. If baking muffins in the kitchen whilst sipping a hot chocolate on a Winter's Sunday morning appeals to you, we'd be perfect housemates! That's it !!! Hit me up if you're interested in joining forces to find a new home! Or you have a sharehome that may be suitable.
Currently doing an internship interstate and about to move to Canberra to begin postgraduate study at ANU. Is polite, easy to get along with and enjoys cleaning. Additionally enjoys interacting with housemates but can keep to myself if that is preferred.
Young working professional. Very clean and tidy. Down to earth. Love to eat and cook. Enjoys my own space occasionally and respects other people's need for space and privacy. Up for having a chat with my roomies too
My name is Cara, I am a 27 year old female looking for a room. I run a not-for-profit theatre company which keeps me fairly busy. In my spare time, I love watching movies and reading, or going to theatre shows and music gigs. I am also writing a novel and I love board games. I am a sociable person but also like my space. Happy to have a beer and a chat, or watch a movie but also happy to give people their space. I am tidy and love pets but do not own any.
Hey there, I'm Randa. I'm from Perth but moved to Canberra to study Anthropology and Development. I've been in Canberra for 3 years now living in Braddon. It's been awesome. I'm a social person and love chatting about anything (normally in the kitchen). But, I also like my downtime. The way I describe myself is this - I'm the type of person who likes cooking, chatting and having dinner housemates, but at the end of the night, I just want to watch netflix or read and have hot chocolate in my bed. I care about the environment and recycle and compost what I can. I don't have a car, so I ride my bike everywhere. I'm still a student so I go to uni a lot to study and come home in the evenings. But in my spare time, I like to catch up with friends, ride to the lake, or play futsal or badminton at uni. Me and my previous housemates would also go on spontaneous adventures around the Canberra sometimes. I also work casually in retail. If you the type of housemates that are up for a good chat, a good feed and care about the world then message me, I'd love to meet you.
Hey! I'm starting full time work as a law graduate in 2018 as well as studying, so I won't be around too often. When I am I like chilling out with a game or a movie. I'm into music, AFL footy and basketball and nights in with video games and a beer. I'm really into staying active and I'm often down to shoot hoops or go for a kick on the weekends. I'm pretty tidy and diligent and reliable at cleaning and household chores. I've also got a girlfriend that would stay over every now and then who happens to be a pretty good cook and willing to share (usually). I'm easy to get along with and and keen to meet new people to live with, so hit me up!
