Work in a big 4 consulting form in risk management. Have been living in Canberra for 5 months originally from Melbourne. Have loved the hiking and nature here in Canberra and looking forward to exploring more! Am an easy going person that likes to keep busy.
Hi prospective housemates, I work full time and spend most of nights at gym lifting (heavy) stuff ( at least to me) with occasional carido sessions 😂 I'm easy going, happy for a chat also know how to respect others privacy. Like to keep things organised clean and tidy. Preferred location would be Bruce, Belconnen, Lawson, Macquarie ( only those new townhouse/units), and then will consider Franklin, Watson, lyneham, etc... Hit me up if you have something available Thanks !
I'm from Japan. I'm tidy. All bills included and furnished room is desirable. The cheaper the better. I wanna stay for 6 months. I'm gonna work at Rydges Capital Hill, so I wanna live within at longest 30 minutes from there.
Clean, easygoing and caring would be the easiest words to describe myself. Although I could consider myself mainly an introvert, I enjoy talking to people and meeting new friends. I’m studying a Bachelor of IT and I am actively looking for work in the industry, while driving Uber as my source of income currently. With nearly 5000 trips completed, my Uber rating is at 4.95 which can be used as a character reference but it also means my future housemates will have a free lift when available. I have previously lived in sharehouses and am an active member of the household, happily doing my share, or more of the chores and enjoy a clean household. I am able to provide previous rental references including from my most recent landlords. I am quite progressive in terms of my social and political and keep an open mind in what people believe in. I don’t judge and always happy to help out in any way I can. Unfortunately I am a dirty smoker but I only smoke outside and try to keep my habit out of the way. I am bilingual, with Russian and English as my main languages, having been born in Russia but migrating to Australia when I was still a child. Looking for a place to stay for at least 6 months, most likely longer. Hope to hear from you soon.
Hi! I'm from India and have a Bachelors' Degree in Architecture. July 2018 i begin with my Masters' Degree at the ANU. Love travelling / exploring and have many tales to tell from the various journeys I've had. Am highly adaptable and quick at socialising. Also, I'm extremely meticulous in everything I do and very particular about cleanliness.
My name is Greg, I'm a full time student returning from studying my master's degree in Sweden, and will be completing my degree here in Australia. I will be working most of the time, so will not be around the house for vast amounts of time. Although, I do enjoy cooking, having a chat and catching up over a drink sometimes. I have lived in quite some places in the past, so generally feel comfortable living with most people that I meet. Looking for a similar housemate to live with, enjoy to hang out but also give plenty of space, and down for a good chat every now and again. I am returning from Europe on the 2nd of August, so will need to have some conversations by Skype of FB message if you would like to do a better interview. And of course, more than happy to start paying for the right place before I return.
I am a professional working in the city looking for a studio or room with ensuite/ own bathroom in Civic or closeby suburbs. An ambivert, mostly keep to myself but wouldn't mind a drink or hanging out. Like to keep the place tidy and respect privacy. Into football, metal, anime and gaming.
I'm a 29 year old guy who recently moved to Canberra to work in the APS. I did a PhD in physics before changing careers into policy. I'm an easy-going, approachable, and clean person who's not shy of having a cup of tea here and there. I like books, cool ideas, and the occasional adventure.
I'm a 20-something just about to commence studying at ANU, working towards a masters' degree. I'm a happy, social guy, who also values my and others privacy and having a space to withdraw to to think and work. If something needs doing or an extra pair of hands could help make light work of a task (meals, gardening, putting together infuriating flat pack furniture, et al.) I'm always happy to lend a hand. ✔ Well traveled and conscientious ✔ Bilingual (EN, IT) and working on my third ✔ Non-smoker ✔ Tidy, clean, and a solid work ethic ✔ Genuine and upfront in all interactions
Hi everyone! Myself and my super friendly cat are moving up to Canberra on the 30th of July to start an exciting new job, and are looking for somewhere to live! I'm very quiet, clean and respectful, but also down for dinner and a drink. I spend my weekends either going out on adventures and doing photography, working on my own jewellery pieces or just relaxing with snacks and movies.
I’m a 23yo who has recently moved from Perth and am working full time at the UNSW ADFA campus and studying part-time online. I prefer my space at times, especially when I have to bunker-down for assessment season, but I value a good D&M and meeting new people. I love all things sport and am an avid touch rugby and bouldering fanatic (unfortunately injured at the moment though), I appreciate a good wine every once in a while (almost as much as I love a terrible pun and top notch level 10 meme), and will go out of my way to pat a dog I see out in public. If that's not enough to love me, then I would probably bribe via baked goods (I have people who can vouch for my homemade cookies and 11/10 banana bread) and inability to portion control when making pasta for 1 (aka. "accidentally cooked for 10 people"). I naturally keep things tidy and always put things back where they belong as I love to keep my environment looking aesthetically pleasing and neat.
Hey, My name is Joanne, I'm 24 and just recently moved in Canberra. I lived in Sydney for the last 5 years and served in the ADF. I work full time in the Public Service. I've lived in shared accomodation for the last 5 years so I understand the general rules of being a good flat mate. I have a cat named Nala, she's pretty chill and keeps to herself a lot. If you think we'd be a good match to share a place together, send me a message! I'm happy to catch up over a coffee or beer to sus each other out!
I'm a recent graduate moving to Canberra from Adelaide to start a job with the APS. I love languages (I speak Dutch and Japanese), music, and dogs. In my spare time, you'll find me reading, gardening, watching Netflix, and googling pictures of dogs. I enjoy my own space and respect others, but am also impartial to a glass of wine and a cheese board at the end of the day. I've lived in share houses before, so I get how it all works. My partner lives in Adelaide and may visit for short periods for work. Let me know if you think I'd be a good fit! Looking forward to hearing from you.
I am doing this add for a friend. Him and his partner have just recently moved down to Canberra and are looking for a space to stay at. They have a pet dog. Clean and tidy, nice and great to get along with. we would be really grateful or the Help
I originaly come from Yass, NSW but I am now working full time at old Parliament House as a barrister and waiter (8am to 5pm) I enjoy cooking and eat almost anything, I'm also ok with vegetarian and vegan. I am a very clean and tidy person and I like coming home after a long days work to a clean house. I am an easy going person and easy to get along with, I like socializing at the end of the day and on weekends; for instance sharing dinner together or having a drink. In my free time I like to draw, read and watch movies. I do enjoy getting outside and longboarding as well as hiking when I get the chance. I understand the importance of privacy and I will 100% respect it. I have lived with other families and people and do have valuable experience.
We are both hard workers, easy going, clean/neat and reliable. We are both from Wagga Wagga, recently moved to Canberra and both full time working. Breanna is a full time chef at the Knox cafe made in Watson and Trai is a plumber, party bus driver and truck driver. We love our music and always up for a chat but also like to have our own space.
I am Shankar Dutt, 21, from India and will be starting PhD at Australian National University. I am a very neat person, and love to clean environment regularly and keep it being beautiful. I like cooking occasionally and will mostly be busy doing my work and studies. I am also a fun loving person and at times would love some stupid talk :P PM for more details and let me know if there is some option available.
I work Full time non-smoker, CLEAN, respectful, I guess a little sociable but still appreciates their own time. I am also honest, easy going and most of all have common sense and genuine respect for belongings and items!! Basically all that good stuff we want every flatmate to be : )
Quiet and self contained, outdoor smoker. I have an outside dog, German Shepherd cross. I have a project car, but having a lock up garage for me to work on the car is a nice to have, not necessarily a need to have
