Hi , my name is Patricia , I'm currently living in Western Australia but will be moving to Melbourne next year for study. I'm a very clean , tidy person, respectful , love the social life , friendly and love meeting new people, love the gym you can call me a gym junkie. I'm looking for a room to rent somewhere in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
F, 23 years of age, vegan and working full time in the CBD as an environmental engineer, I am sometimes sent out to site on adventures. When I can I cycle to work and enjoy yoga, and gardening. I am respectful of others space, but would love to have housemates who are keen for wine and chats here and there. Looking to live with relaxed, friendly housemates with a similar lifestyle (working full time or engaged in post graduate study full time). Ideally hoping to find a larger home with 3-5 other people, which may/may not include couples. Of course LGBT+ friendly....and open minded/chilled out about the lifestyles of the people I might live with generally :) I am fairly clean, and am looking for a share house where it is understood that shared areas should be kept reasonably clean and everyone should clean up after themselves - i.e. no make up on the sink, no significant amount of dirty dishes in the sink for more than a couple of hours, clean up any mud or dirt walked into the home etc, common sense and mutual respect are key! I have lived in a few sharehouses, currently in a sharehouse with some great housemates but trying to find a nicer house, as this one is a bit drafty. So I am looking for a nice home to settle into, ideally well lit, spacious, and a decent sized backyard space. Also hoping to find somewhere that is decently insulated, has central air conditioning, maybe has central heating and hardwood floors.
Hey there! Im Shay. I'm originally from QLD, have lived in Melbourne for about 4 months now, working in hospo in the CBD. Looking for somewhere closer to work. I don't know how to make gnocchi. If it comes down to me and someone who knows how to make gnocchi, choose them. Thanks (:
I'm a chilled out guy 27, I've lived in share houses for years so i'm well house trained and feel like I could be a good addition to your household. I keep pretty busy I work As a youth worker in drug and alcohol services. Im a clean and tidy person who loves to cook and live my life with health and fitness and a yoga class here and there. Some of my passions are anything out doors hiking, camping and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Id love a chance to meet and see the room. Hope to here from you
I have recently moved to Melbourne for a full time permanent job. I am relatively quiet and easy going. I have a progressive world view. I have lived in shared accommodations previously, so I am house trained. I am also clean and tidy. I like to wash my dishes after every meal if possible. I play a bit of soccer, read and go hiking.
Hey there, my name is Liz and am looking for a fun, social house to call home. I work full-time, try to stay active and am always up for a family meal! I'm looking for a place to move into after the 11th of November
Hi there, I'm reasonably new to Melbourne - having moved down from Queensland in April. I'm enjoying living in Melbourne, but need a location change to make the daily commute to my job as a management consultant in the city less of a grind. I've spent some time in Northcote, and it really appeals because of its High Street, multiple public transport options and the Northcote Aquatic and Recreation Centre - I like to swim! I cycle, so good access to cycle paths would be an added bonus (and a place to store my bike). Fitzroy North, Fitzroy, Collingwood and Clifton Hill are options that could work for me too. I'm looking for a share house with one or more others, professionals, late-20s to early-40s. I can make a furnished or unfurnished room work. I don't have a lot of belongings, so if you have a house that is fully kitted out and are looking for a flatmate who won't clutter your home with extra book cases (etc), we should talk. I have flexibility with my moving date, I'm after great flatmates and a place that works well for everyone. I prefer share houses to be more like a home, rather than simply a group of people who share living costs. At the same time, I value my own space and have my own interests, but it's always nice to share a meal/drink with house mates from time-to-time. I'm tidy and know how to use a vacuum cleaner and clean a shower. I enjoy exploring the outdoors and great coffee. If you have a room that you think I might be interested in, I'm keen to hear from you. All the best.
Hi! My name's Kristy, I'm 24 and I'm working full time in Brunswick (on Sydney Rd) and am looking for a place, ideally close to work. I would describe myself as being an "extroverted introvert", I love socialising and going out but also really enjoy my down time. I'm really into yoga and meditation, I play a bit of guitar but probably not enough for it to be annoying to my new roomies. Although I like things being clean and tidy, I'm not crazy about it and won't lose my mind over a bit of mess. I guess I'm just pretty chill and relaxed when it comes to a lot of things and think I'd be really easy to live with. But yeah, if you want to know more or think I'd be a great fit to your household, let me know :)
just finished my studies and newly qualified as a Naturopath. Into sustainable, non toxic living, organic food, yoga, meditation, peace and harmony. I do eat some meat, though not a lot. Even though my full on party days are well behind me I like a little boogie now and then and still go out to gigs and pubs from time to time. Love a good laugh and I like a bit of silliness just for the sake of it. Looking for a like minded and easy going person We can possibly share cooking and shopping duties but not really fussed. Would love someone I can sit around and have a natter with over a cup of tea. I share care of my 6 year old son 50/50. So would have him several nights in the week, some weekends and school holidays. I also have an 11 year old dog (kelpie x lab x ridgeback) that I would dearly love to have with me, but I understand that this may not be possible and my ex will just have to pick up the dog care duties if it isn't. But she is great, gentle company, a great guard dog and you generally wouldn't even notice she was there.
Hey there! Myself (Steph) - Makeup Artist & Ben- Concreter, are a happy, clean & house trained couple urgently looking to move to the Preston/Thornbury/Northcote area! as our lease runs out by the end of the week. I (Steph) have lived in Thornbury previously and we both absolutely love the area. We are very easy going, laid back and clean people. We are both Gym junkies and live a healthy lifestyle (although a drink on the weekends isn't uncommon) . Preferably looking to share with 2 other people tops, otherwise it will probably be a bit crowded for us. Looking forward to hearing back from some cool people :)
Hey there, I just recently moved to Melbourne from Alaska and am looking to settle here and work in the hospitality industry. I consider myself to be very respectful of others and my housemates, chill, sociable, and well house trained. I'm also fully capable of paying rent on time. I like a wide range of music, tea, making attempts at cooking dishes outside of my skill level, and going out for drinks on the occasional evening and weekends. Generally looking to live with others who are social and like to chill together, either often you just occasionally. I can move in any time! I'm preferably looking for something longterm, but am open to subletting if it's for 3+ months. Also would prefer the room to be furnished. No share rooms please! Feel free to message me with any other questions! Cheers, Trever
Hi! I am Dan, a 30 year old Australian guy. I'm working as an consultant and also finishing off a PhD at Melb Uni. When that's not keeping me occupied, I enjoy going rock climbing, going out for a coffee drink with friends, or (trying to) learn Japanese. I've lived in Melbourne for ages, and I love it, particularly being inner city, where the coffees, beer and food is plentiful. Whilst I am a pretty quiet guy, I really want to move into a house where I can make friends with the other flatmates, rather than just exist together. Previously I've enjoyed cooking and going on trips with my other housemates, and it'd be great to continue in that tradition.
Hi, I'm Yumi, 39yo, I work Mon-Fri 9-5 as an Executive Assistant in environmental conservation. I'm pretty cruisy and enjoy socialising. Into creative stuff like art and music. Fairly quiet on weeknights but out and about going shopping, gym, out with friends, gigs etc on weekends. I'm clean and tidy and always happy to chip in for house chores. Looking for a tidy and respectful home with a friendly flatmate who is independent but wouldn't mind a chat over dinner or a glass of vino here and there :) I'm strictly an outdoor smoker and I make sure smoke doesn't come into the house and never throw butts around or anything I promise!
Easy going, friendly and respectful gal from London (UK) looking for a room in Melbourne! :) Been living with other people in shared accommodation since I was 18 so very used to the concept of personal space and being respectful to other people. Equally I like the idea of living in a friendly/social house - basically I'm not one that likes to hide in my room! I like to go out and party occasionally at the weekends but as I'll be working full time during the week I'm mainly looking for nice/like minded people to cook dinner in the evenings with and make new friends! If you have a room that would suit please give me a message :) thanks!

Hello, My name is Fred, french, working in Renewable Energy, studying psychology and doing other personal stuff during the week. I enjoy gardening, playing music, painting, good conversations over a nice diner and not taking things too seriously. I'm keen to move in a bright bedroom, part of a house that is well looked after. Hi, I'm Sean, 23 years old, I work full time at my university and I also study full time. I'm into health & fitness, trying new restaurants, going to the movies, socialising & TV show binging. I'm a pretty chilled out guy and would be happy to make friends with whoever I end up living with.
Hey I am a really friendly and outgoing guy. I like to socialise and meet new people but I am also very respectful of peoples privacy. I am a full time pastry chef so one of the benefits of living with me is that I'll bring home chocolate :). I always pay the bills on time and I am generally a clean and tidy person. I'm looking for somewhere for about 3 months before the end of my visa.
I work full time as an ESL teacher in the CBD and am also currently studying a Masters online to become a primary teacher. In any free time I have I try to keep up a regular gym routine and catch up with friends to get out and about. Due to my busy schedule you can be rest assured I am not a couch potato (apart from the occasional streaming binge...). Having a laugh and being able to relax at home are what I am all about. It's nice to come home and have a good chat but I also respect that everyone needs their own time and space. I enjoy cooking, gardening, films/ tv and am fond of pets. I am well house trained and will always help out with cleaning and all the boring chores. I have a car so will need parking, have all my bedroom own furniture and ideally would like access to a train line for commuting.
We're two Irish girls, and we've just arrived in Melbourne on a working holiday visa for one year. We both studied chemistry in college but thankfully that's over and now we're here and hoping to do something completely different. Pros of living with us: we're easy going, tidy, fairly quite, we're always up for a drink and a chat and we bake (and always need help eating the baked goods). Cons of living with us: sometimes we get distracted by Netflix and burn the baked goods...
