Hi, I am a happy, relaxed, professional with a very sweet, old, little dog called Rusty. We are currently living very close to a tram line in a house that is less than lovely so are slowly looking for a new place to call home. Rusty would also LOVE canine company I am sure, (People with dog/s are right up our alley!) I love the Preston, Thornbury ish area, coffee/delicious food, catching up with friends and time chilling alone with Rusty. We are ultimately looking for somewhere that has a yard, and would love to live with intelligent, independent people who have their own lives, are grown up but also like to chat and catch up, rather than be ships in the night. I work full time with at-risk youth in Broadmeadows and adore my job. I am a Special Ed teacher by trade and love learning and presenting in the education field. I love getting good sleep, having a laugh, eating well and generally making sure I am happy and chilled. I'm not a party person anymore, I definitely was, but my body can't keep up like it used to. Saying that I love to have dinner and a glass of wine, go out for meals/coffee and like to think of myself, and Rusty 😊, as kind, considerate beings. I have lots of the basic furniture, but am happy to store this if there is already adequate in the house. I would also prefer to live with more than one other person. This isn't a must, but I have found it breaks up the atmosphere 😊 Looking forward to hearing from you! Laura and Rusty
Hey there! Been in Melbourne for a year now, looking for a great place to call home. I like getting out, road trips, craft beers. My ideal place would be clean & open, generally quiet on the weekdays and a few cheeky bevs on weekends. I work in entertainment so always keen to go out for a show, festival, concert, etc.
After 12 years working and traveling around the world as an events manager and performing arts producer I'm about to embark on a new journey to start a new career in Chinese Medicine. I will begin my studies at RMIT in Bundoora in February. I'm a little scared but I'm mostly excited to start the next chapter. I'm very active, I love the outdoors, I love to travel and explore. I enjoy yoga, I prefer to cycle than drive and I spend many of my weekends skydiving. My life may look a little different next year but I will keep as much adventure in it as I can. I prefer to live with only one or two others and I enjoy keeping a reasonably tidy home. I love my own space and often crave alone time, but I also enjoy sharing stories over dinner and a wine and occasionally chatting into the early hours. I desperately want a backyard and a veggie garden. I don't have a pet, but I do love animals.
I'm a 21 year old social work student and hospitality worker. Looking for a sharehouse with kind, tidy people. I'm a transgender person currently transitioning on testosterone - so I'm looking for housemates that are trans friendly! Thanks friends ♡
Hey guys, my name's Irene and i'm 19. I just moved from Canberra to Melbourne a few days ago and I hope to find somewhere suitable before i start my first year of university in February. I've spent the past 6 months living with my girlfriend and her housemates so I'm used to living in shared environments (this means I'll take the bin out and replace the bin liner too!). I have family and friends here who I love to spend time with but I'm also looking forward to making new friends and connections :)
Hi my names jason, I'm 35, clean and respectful. I work full time 5-6 days a week, I'm out the door around 6 am and home around 4-5pm. I'm pretty easy to get on with, like to chat and get on with the people I live with, also like to relax and do my own thing. I'm house trained and like to live in a clean and tidy house, I allways clean after my self and happy to help keep the house clean. I am due to move out of my current house on the 27th jan ( flexible on this date ) Any question, ask away Thanks Jason =
I'm an easy going girl who is moving to Melbourne to start an apprenticeship in upholstery, so i will be working full time. I'm very clean and respectful of peoples space. I love to cook and play sports and am always down for a drink or chat at the end of the day. I also have a 2 year old Labrador X who is very friendly and gets along with people and other animals.
I'm a 21yr old, 3rd year Chiro Student at RMIT Bundoora, looking for accomodation after moving from Bendigo. I'm a non-smoker, who is clean, tidy and fairly social, however I also need quiet time to study. I have a few part time jobs in my home town of Bendigo, so would be planning to come back and forth between Bendigo and Melbourne mainly on weekends for work until I can find part time work in Melbourne.
Part-time work and part-time study in Melbourne. BA Student who loves to socialise and have a few drinks but also respects space. Looking for something medium-long term and somewhere with good access to public transport and if possible rent which includes bills. Ready to move as soon as I find the perfect place. Happy to come to meet you soon! You can call me. Thanks :)
I'm a 22 year-old full time graphic designer working in Collingwood. I'm sociable and fun to live with but like most people I need some space every now and then. I'm looking for a place that won't be more than 1.5 hour travel to my workplace during peak hours. I would love to live with people who I can also be friends with, are tidy and respectful.
Hey there! I'm Steph, 22 years old and proud. I managed to scrape through undergrad to graduate from La Trobe uni. Now, I'll be trying to use the same methods to scrape through my post grad at UniMelb. To describe myself: I'm pretty bubbly and laidback as a person so you won't be seeing me flip tables over issues. Also, I live for puns and like to think that my pun game is strong. If the above summary of me have not won you over, here's one that should: I AM NOT AFRAID OF INSECTS AND WILL HELP CLEAR THEM OUT FOR YOU. hehe
Hey guys, names Aaron and im 26 years old, currently for a new place to call home. Im very respectful and mature as a person who loves to have a laugh and the occasional drink with peers. I do also like my quite time as i work full time as a Brick and Blocklayer 7 till 3. If you have anything that may be suitable and has a longer term of stay... Cheers :)
I returned to Melbourne a few months ago after living overseas for many years. I’m loving being back and reconnecting with old friends and all the good things Melbourne has to offer. My work is music-related; I’m a sound engineer and concert manager. I’ve picked up some great work since returning, and this year is looking good - my diary is certainly filling up. Accommodation-wise I’ve been doing a mix of house sitting and staying with friends for the last few months. I’m now looking for somewhere for the short term, possibly longer - it's all open to discussion - and preferably furnished. I know what it takes to share a home in terms of good communication and keeping things hassle-free, and I'd like to live somewhere where things are kept generally clean and tidy (as an ex-home helper I'm a dab hand with a dustpan and brush) and the place ticks along nicely. I'm probably more suited to living with over-30s. I can be quiet at times but am by no means antisocial. I enjoy reading, music, science and nature and derive ridiculous amounts of pleasure from cryptic crosswords. Don't let that put you off, though! I like to have a natter and a laugh and share occasional meals when the opportunity arises, whilst also respecting people's need for a bit of quiet time and personal space. I do yoga, walk a lot and am generally active, enjoy cooking and eat pretty well. I’m a non-smoker and not much of a drinker, but certainly don't mind if you're partial to a tipple. Do get in touch - I'd love to hear from you.
I consider myself pretty quiet, and you most likely won't see me if we're living together, i tend to hang out in my room a lot. I do enjoy socialising every now and then with friends, i love having a couple of beverages and a laugh. I'm pretty much always happy all the time, and I'm pretty laid back too.
I have just transferred job's from the country and am looking for a place. I like to get out and socialise but also like to relax at home watching tv or playing video games. Also love board games and will need to find a new board game group if you know of any :)
Hi ! I am Anindita. I will be pursuing my Masters at La Trobe University, Bundoora, Melbourne campus. I am someone who is easy going, social, quickly adapts to change, enjoys making friends and would like to team up for shared accommodation near the university (females preferably). Love to stay fit, very organized, able to cook and a neat freak. Besides, I don’t mind socializing but would definitely respect the privacy and space of the other housemates. Looking forward to get along with a happy soul who is full of life !
Hi there I will be doing my maters degree at La Trobe University as an International student. I will be starting my course in Feb 2018 and would like a housing available by the 25th of February. Housing that includes all bills and internet is highly preferred. I'm looking for a room, preferably in a shared housing with students. I'm clean and organized and respectful towards people. Some of my hobbies are watching tv shows and writing poetry. I love going to social events and mingling with people over some good food and conversation. Feel free to contact me if you feel I fit into your lovely home.
