I’ve just moved to Melbourne from Mullumbimby (near Byron) I’m creative and easy going with a generally positive outlook. I was running my own pottery studio and gallery Mullum, before selling it and moving here. Currently I work freelance as a graphic designer and web developer, and will also be looking for full time work in the city once I am settled. I like dance, yoga, exploring new places, music, reading, healthy lifestyle, creativity and art… and I have 2 sweet cats.. I have lived in share houses all throughout my life and am respectful of how to share a space. I tend to be out and about a lot too.
I'm respectful, tidy, and open-minded. I'm not a party animal nor a prude. I can have a relationship with flatmates or keep to myself.
Hi I'm Frances, I've been living in Melbourne for about 2 years now. I'm originally from Brisbane. I'm looking for a new home as my office has relocated. My boyfriend lives in Bendigo so I am also looking for roommates who don't mind him being over most weekends, happy to work something out where he comes tributes to bills. I'm 25, love staying in with a glass of wine and good company equally as much as I love weekend adventures. I'm tidy and mature and can clean up after myself. I work as a brand manager for a beauty company. I do require a place with space to park a car (street parking is fine). Looking for a home with great people!
Hey there! I'm Jas. I'm 21 years old and have been living in Melbourne for a year now. I moved over from Perth to be closer to the family. My lease is ending very soon and I am looking for a new house and housemates to share with. I'm down to earth, friendly and easy going. I work at a Patisserie in Greensborough and spend my downtime relaxing, cooking, baking, reading, and listening to music. I love pilates and meditating. I'm pretty quiet and chilled and would love a sharehouse that feels like a home rather than a place to party. I've had experience living in sharehouses before and am a very considerate housemate. I am clean and reliable with paying rent and bills. I only have a bedroom full of furniture plus some kitchen appliances. I don't have any pets although I love them! If you think we'd be a good match I would love to organize a time to meet you and see the house :)
We are a kiwi couple in our mid-twenties. We have spend over the past two years living in London and travelling Europe. Before that we were living in our own home for many years. Both of us are very clean and tidy and are happy to do our fair share around the house. we both enjoy cooking. Our lifestyle is a great balance of being social, but also chilling as well, we are very easy going, and happy to go with flow, and very respectful of other flatties.
I'm Indonesian and currently in Melbourne till Dec 2018 for doing some research at La Trobe University. I have been living in Australia for about 8 years and had experience of living in apartment/house share before. I'm friendly and love to listen to your story (since I'm a bit quiet sometimes lol). I can cook but I do it occasionally since I'm pretty busy with my research. I'm looking forward to hear from you.
I'm looking for a chill place to call home with relaxed housemates who clean up after themselves and are open minded and accepting. I love cooking, yoga, running, gardening, reading and everything that involves being outdoors. I'm originally from the rain forest in Northern Rivers NSW and I need my own space and alone time but I also really thrive around people. I've just graduated from an honours degree in chemistry, I work casually at a cheese shop at the Queen Victoria Markets and volunteer for Conservation Volunteers Australia doing environmental regeneration. I'm looking for full time work in a environmental chemistry related field to gain a bit of experience before I eventually begin a PhD. I am well travelled throughout Europe as I studied in Sweden as part of my undergraduate degree. I currently live with my boyfriend and his family in the Eastern Suburbs and I'm moving so I can live in a more independent setting in the Northern Suburbs. As one of the family members is vegan, I have a lot of experience cooking vegan food and I am mostly vegetarian myself. I'm also accepting of other people preparing and eating meat. I've also been known to brew my own beer and make my own cheese.
Hi guys, I'm Wayne, a 26 year old Australian, just returned home from the UK and a working holiday. Ideally looking for a room in the inner suburbs, North or East Melbourne, $170 per week max. I enjoy music, guitar, films, art, travel, psychology and personal development. I'm an easy going, sociable and tidy flatmate. Cheers, hope to hear from you soon
I am the perfect balance between private and social. During the week I am really busy and private. I work up to 10 hours and day, keep fit and active, have a side business. On the weekends I am always up for a beer, feed and love a good yarn.
Heyy, I'm a chiropractic student at RMIT and I've got a couple of part time jobs so I'm rarely home. I love a family meal with a couple casual drinks on the weekend, and I'm not a massive partier so don't worry, I won't be hosting predrinks every other week. I'm not allergic to any animals so I'm flexible with pets although unfortunatly I don't have any of my own. I like to think I'm pretty down-to-earth and I'm always up for a chat xx
Student-teacher studying at La Trobe, looking to work in rural schools, once I graduate, to help disadvantaged children achieve their best in all skills of life (not just academic). I have a special interest in music, history, social science & anthropology. I think I'm a pretty chilled individual overall; love to be social and know more about the world. strong believer in teamwork.
Hey! I'm Emily, I'm from Tasmania, and am now studying at RMIT. I'm easy to get along with, tidy, clean and respectful. l like cooking and trying new things. I'm very creative; I love painting, sewing and drawing. I like going to markets, op shopping and exploring on my bike.
A 26 yr old female from Taiwan, speaking both English and Mandarin. Here is a brief intro of myself: Having stayed in Australia for a little more than a year, I'm loving Melbourne and the people here. I'd love to meet more decent, fun, and new people. English ability is fluent, so will be easy to communicate and have a chat to. :) Currently, I'm working in two jobs, including a FOH staff in a restaurant and an all rounder & bartender in a pool table bar in CBD. I'm looking for a long term private room which goes up to more than six months. Interests wise, I'm very interested in anything related to art, fashion, interior design, and graphic design. Love reading, music, drawing, movies, running, yoga, swimming, etc. Also would like to develop and learn new things. I'm a very easy-going person, respect privacy and space, clean and tidy, respect downtimes and also look forward to have some drinks and chats and catching up when free. My move in date would be somewhere after mid July, because I'll have to give one month notice for my current landlord. Please let me know if it is suitable for you and do let me know if an inspection would be arranged. Please send me a text if it is possible. Thank you. Looking forward to hear from you. :)))
I'm a second-year full-time postgraduate student at Australian Catholic University. I'm fairly new to Melbourne and looking to find a place where I could relax and possibly make friends. If you have a quiet little cutie dog it would be awesome since I've been missing mine back home in the Philippines. I am quiet by default so if you like the silence don't worry I won't bother you very much, but also okay with a chat. I am mindful of others and tidy up most of the time. I can cook some Filipino food, if you'd like to try I am willing to share it :)
My partner and I have just moved to Melbourne from Tasmania and are looking for accommodation. We are about to start studying at Melbourne University and are super keen to experience the city lifestyle. We enjoy exploring, bike riding and food! We are very friendly and love both socialising and doing our own thing. We are clean, tidy, friendly people who are hard working, driven and love to cook. Lily: 18, have lived in Tasmania for most of my life, lived in Germany for a year when I was 8, I am a passionate outdoor adventurer who loves the ocean and dogs. I like cooking, surfing, reading and exploring both the city and nature. Elliot: 19, lived in Tasmania all my life but outward thinking. Went on exchange to Taiwan for a year and have explored a little bit of Europe and Asia. I'm a big basketball fan and like to keep active. Also enjoy reading and am a huge fan of great coffee and food.
Hi, We are Emma (28) & Scott (31) a young working couple looking for a long-term lease. We are searching because our current property (that we share with our housemate/homeowner) doesnt have a LUG for Scotts work trailer. In addition to gargage space we need a yard for our very well trained 4yo German Shepherd- Lexi who is Scotts first born daughter and my adopted best friend. She is small for her breed and socialises very well with other dogs. We are looking for a place with a introspective vibe where we can relax after work. I'm a nurse so shiftwork is par for the course, this has mutual benefits and not so many drawbacks. It means some nights I wont be home and othertimes I'm sleeping during the day. Scott works as a chippy and can do some pretty big hours during the week but general is relaxing on the weekends or using his time to do one of his million outdoors sports- currently mountain biking or road cycling & skiing. Me-I generally relax around food by either cooking, eating, sharing or reading about it.
My names Lachy, I’m 21, I love video games, make up, gym. I generally keep too myself but love to socialise and create new friendships, I don’t mind too have a drink occasionally and go out clubbing. I work at a coles in Kingsbury and study media and communications journalism at la Trobe. I’m an honest, hard working, reliable young man and I’m after a place that is fairly clean, something more long term, LGBT+ friendly as I am gay and nice people too live with! :)
Hey there, Ishraj here - aerospace engineering graduate, looking for a private room to rent, starting this week (25/06/2018) or ASAP. I am a very friendly and independent person working most of the time. I understand that everyone is busy in their own life and respect that. That being said, I also enjoy spending some time socialising with my housemates once a week or so. Overall, I am a very tidy, respectful and friendly person. Look forward to having a chat with you. Cheers, Ishraj Inderjeet
Studying at tafe and work freelance. I am a tidy, quiet person who is seeking accommodation near public transport due to no car. I enjoy cooking, writing, reading, volunteering, making friends, theatre, opera, music, eating out, working and walking. If we sound compatible contact me asap! Please note I have a well behaved small dog that's eight years old. He's quiet, adorable and also loves other pets including dogs and cats. I hope someone out there has a heart and will let us both stay as he is my only family and I'd hate to lose my companion. Thank you. I am also a non smoker.
Hello! I'm a creative personality (16mm film and love going to arty gigs) and I have traveled and lived in many places around the world, making me quite adaptable, open minded, friendly, and able to problem solve and consider others. I love having a glass of wine or a beer with flatmates, and I'm also pretty independent. Kitchen is always clean and tidy with me. I am relocating from living in Iceland, and this means I'm bringing my Icelandic Sheepdog x Border Collie back with me too (1 month after I arrive). So those who want a dog friend with no responsibility at home... well I hope you'll meet her, she is the best dog of all :) . So a garden/yard is ideal. I work in the arts, love the outdoors and hiking with my dog, and mostly I hope to find a good home with rad new housemates after living overseas.
