Hi! My name is Yok. I'm a graphic designer, student and full time apprentice chef currently based in Richmond. My lease at my current place is ending in May, but however I’m on the lookout for the next move as I’m searching for the perfect place; I’d like to have it sorted and move out in April and pay off my current lease. At the moment I’m really loving being situated in Richmond, location is definitely important for me. I’d love to ideally be in the same area but however am open to South Yarra; North/West Melbourne, Prahan areas; basically places that are close to the city and work. I live quite a busy lifestyle. I’m very career driven and usually will be at work for the most the week and weekends. On my days off I’m very active and outgoing. I do a lot of yoga, pilates and enjoy running at the tan, heading to the gym or beach whaling. I love keeping a healthy and fit lifestyle, and of course enjoy having a few drinks (but who doesn’t). I have a pretty set routine; I live a very hardworking, independent and organised lifestyle; chasing after some big dreams. Usually during the week due to my long work hours, I like to keep it simple but I do enjoy having a wine every once in a while and a good chat. I’m on the search for a pretty specific type of place; I’d like to live with professionals who are driven and career focused but still maintain a social and well balanced lifestyle. I am definitely not on the search for a party house or a share house environment. I’m looking for my next home; which I’ll hopefully want to stay at for at least a couple years; given that it’s the right place. I’m simply looking for a nice home and a couple of nice housemates I can share it with. I’m on the hunt for somewhere that is/has: -Close to public transport -A big size room with lots of storage space -Ensuite would be a bonus but not essential -A maintained clean and decent sized kitchen -Washing machine is a must, otherwise I can supply one A bit more about me, I’m Thai/Chinese raised in Hong Kong and grew up in the UK. Cooking is my absolute passion. I’ve got large aspirations in the industry among my many other career goals. I’m a very creative individual, I love painting, life drawing and gallery visits. My other hobbies include chess, video games, rock climbing, scuba diving, fishing, trying to surf, singing, volleyball, soccer, traveling and lot’s of martinis. Let me know if you’re what I might be after and if I sound like your kind of lady :)
Hey there! I'm a writer and content creator from Perth, and I'm moving to Melbourne in February 2017 to intern in non-profit communications. I'm looking to rent a private room with laid-back, like-minded people. I work casually as a note-taker and a sales assistant, and volunteer for several non-profits including Red Cross. I'm planning to work part-time and intern/volunteer part-time. I'm friendly, tidy, respectful and not much of a party-goer. I'm a big reader, a huge fan of jazz, blues and soul music, and I swing-dance several times a week. I'm also a great baker! I'm ideally looking for something along the 75 tram line as I'll be working at Deakin University.

HI there! My husband and I are moving to Melbourne from Texas, USA on 24 January and are looking for a furnished apartment/share. I currently work in architecture designing schools and will be researching with the University of Melbourne for the year. My husband will look for work and/or travel around the country. We are avid travelers (Australia will be continent #7!) who love good food and good coffee - both of which Melbourne is known for! We have both lived in shared houses in the past and love meeting new people. We are flexible with term and would like to stay in one place at least 3 months up to 11 months or a year. We prefer a private bathroom and keep our rent and bills to less than $300pw
We are an English couple both 24 and working in hospitality in Melbourne. We are looking for a place to call home for a while and some awesome people to live with.
Hi Ron here from Malaysian Chinese guy. I'm tidy and easy going and friendly guy. Looking for whole unit to stay. Sometimes my family will come for visit me together. Thanks
Hi! My name is Lauri and I'm a 28 year old multimedia designer from Helsinki, Finland. I'm currently working full time in the eastern suburbs and would like find a nice share house located somewhere between the city and my work. I'm responsible, open-minded and an easy-going guy. I'm into music and all kinds of arts in general. I like to spend my free time going to gigs and exhibitions and also hanging out with friends and watching movies etc. I have plenty of share house experience from around the world and can appreciate a nice community as well as privacy and a reasonable amount of cleanliness around the house. Contact me if you have a spare room that I might be interested!
Heya! I'm Eliza, I'm 20 and currently looking for other like minded people to move in the Hawthorn area with. I come from rural Vic and previously lived in Geelong for study. However, I've had a change of heart and worked up the courage to transfer and pursue my love of animals, because why not? Besides studying Science with an Animal Biology major at Deakin, I like exploring the city and surroundings, reading and having the occasional boogy on the dancefloor come the weekend. My other interests include history (monarchies, mythology etc), binging shows/movies, music and games like Fallout. I'm pretty social and love a good chat, but definitely respect personal space. I clean up after myself, nor do I smoke. If you're at all interested I do have another friend I intend to move in with, she's 20 too and we're both looking for two other girls around our age to move in with. Hope to hear from you all soon!
Hi, my Name is Sima (w) and I will start studying at Monash University from February 25th to June 24th as an exchange student. Apart from that I work part-time at the IT-Department of Freie Universität called ZEDAT. I am looking for a place where I can study peacefully and safe. I am a tidy person. But what is most important is that I wanted to get in touch with people who can tell me more about Australia people and culture. I am very open person and I love to talk to new people and have interesting conversations. I am not a social media person so please feel free to ask me any question you have (:

I am a 23 year old who works full time in the city. I will be out most of the day, and I like to keep it quiet during the week. On the weekends I go out, for brunches, dinners or a night out but I do enjoy a quiet weekend now and then. I am a tidy, respectful and easygoing person who you can share a meal or drink with now and then. I will also respect your personal space and privacy. I like to cook and clean, and know how to keep a place tidy.
May be this would help: I am a born Australian and l currently live in Melbourne. During the week I am busy working and gym. Weekends combination of UBER driving, surfing and I have a podcast. I am someone who prefers reading a good book or listening to a podcast as opposed to watching TV.
My name is Leigh, male, and I'm a spritely 36 years old. I've been sharehousing since my early twenties so I'm well and truly house broken. I like to think I'm pretty easy to live with, I do my share of housework, clean up after myself and cause no drama. I just landed my dream job at the Peter Maccallum Cancer Centre as a clinical study coordinator so I'm looking to live nearby. And no, I don't wear a lab coat or experiment on animals... any more. I keep it pretty low key during the week when I go to the gym but on the weekend love catching some live music, scuba diving and wakeboarding. Ideally I'm looking to live in a lively area with people who are like minded; holders of a SCUBA licence a big bonus! P.S. Sorry about the photo, it's the most recent one of me I could find and I just happen to be pulling a face.
We are Kirstin and Eric and are both from London, United Kingdom. We are both 27 years old and looking for a room in a shared house in Melbourne. We are new to the area and looking for a place that feels homely. We are searching for a double bedroom anywhere in Melbourne which is preferably fully or part-furnished and we are available to move in as soon as possible. We are a clean, tidy and friendly couple with references from previous landlords. I work in social care, Eric is a warehouse manager and we've lived in shared houses before. Thank you for reading this and please contact us if you have any questions. Kirstin & Eric
I work full time at Rebel sport so come with discount availability....:) I enjoy cycling and snowboarding, also I like my golf. I make my own beer and enjoy cooking for others as I am a retired chef. I tend to like to keep to myself, but warning I am a mad Tigers supporter....:)
Hi! I will be moving to Melbourne soon to start a full time job. I'm a reasonably neat person with terribly average cooking skills! I'm pretty easy going and love to try new things. Would love to find a friendly household with some flatmates who can help me settle in to Melbourne, and who are happy to share a meal and a drink. I've put down to stay 4 months but am definitely open to a longer stay. Also a bit flexible with move in date :)
Hey, I'm Bronte. I'm 19, almost 20. I'll be studying Primary School Teaching at Swinburne. I'm currently in Darwin saving up money for Uni life. But I move down on the 24th of Feb! I'm happy to pay for the weeks in advance that I'm not there. I like going to gigs, I'm a social butterfly. I'm neat, tidy and good at cooking.
Firstly apologies for the horrendously zoomed in photo Looking to move out of home as I have landed a full time job in government this year and need to be closer in to the city! I enjoy road trips to the beach and mountains, nights out, nights in, cooking, eating out - literally anything, super easy going :) I also have my own record player and eclectic mix of records which are my pride and joy! Yours to play with if we end up living together!
Hi! I'm Ashleigh, I'm from England and currently on a working holiday visa. I'm in Tassie at the moment finishing farm work and will be arriving back in Melbourne around the 5th of February and will be looking to move in pretty much straight away. I'm looking for a place either until the 18th of March (as I'm off travelling for a month) or longer term as I plan to come back and stick around in Melbourne for a while after my travels! I'm looking for a private room in a place with friendly housemates. I'm pretty quiet at home and like my own space but also like to spend some time watching tv or eating together. I've been living in a hostel for the past 3 months so I'm used to sharing and tidying up after myself. I'm looking for somewhere close to public transport (preferably a train station) and ideally with some shops and cafes nearby or within easy reach. A yoga studio close by would also be perfect!
Hi my name is David and I'm a 25 year old Canadian who has been in Melbourne for the past 2 and a half years. I currently working full-time in property in the city and I'm also completing my masters at RMIT. I am currently in Prahran, ideally I am hoping to find somewhere already furnished, as I only own my bedroom furniture and somewhere near transport which allows me to get to work with no drama. I am looking at moving any time in the next few weeks. I am easy going and love the outdoors. Not too fussed about living in either a share house or with just one other person, preferably someone around a similar age. Own bathroom would be amazing but not essential. I love dogs (who doesn't), I'm a non-smoker and like to keep fit and healthy but also love a night out now and then.
2 guys from England looking to stay in Melbourne for 2 months (possibly longer) during our working holiday after travelling SEAsia. Lovers of sport and have been keen to check out Oz for years now. Looking to work in cocktail bars during our stay and will be nice to live in an area for a little while and gain some decent mates too! Very clean and tidy people looking for a chilled place rather than a party house, around $200 each. Both love to cook and are more than happy for group dinners of an evening. If anyone fancies teaming up to get a better place for five or so then give us a shout! Will be nice to find somewhere close to town and a gym wouldn't go a miss.
Hey guys. My name is Brad. I am a 23 year old Kiwi working Monday to Friday am doing sign writing. Hey there! My name is Sham, I'm 22 years old and from Adelaide. I've been accepted to study at Monash University in 2017 and so I'm making the move over to Melbourne! I consider myself a people person and love to spend time with others, a lot of my spare time is spent over good food and drinks with my family and friends. I'm easy to get along with and am very trustworthy and reliable. I'd love to move in with flatmates who enjoy hanging out while also respecting each other's personal space. I'd be more than happy to tell you a little bit more about myself so feel free to get in touch! Hope to hear from you soon :)
Hi there lovely people! TL;DR: I'm reliable, responsible, and looking for a place to call home. Clarence here. *waves* I’m currently a second year degree student studying communication design (graphic design, really) at RMIT. I work part time in the city at a photography equipment hire company so that helps me with my rent. (: A 29yo, responsible, easy-going, sociable person who has a good sense of humour; likes the random joke; cooks every now and then (not a great cook but I try, also I’m a student, so it's cheaper, right?); watch way too much TV shows than I should (Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Brooklyn Nine-nine, etc.); enjoys the occasional drink (I’m a light drinker/asian flush); not big on parties (you can host your own if you want, I don't mind); loves to cycle (cheaper than getting fines from tram hopping); would love a chat at the end of the day yet am respectful of your personal space and a problem solver (not that you would have any, but that's a good to know); loves coffee (and a secret tea drinker). A nice person to hang around with (or at least no one has told me otherwise). For the rest of my time, I like to keep myself active by going for bicycle rides, runs and cafe hopping (not necessary in that order). I love photography and all things creative. My main mode of transport is by bicycle which takes me to most places. Oh, and I am tidy, non-smoker, and dislike leaving mess about the house and am very respectful of your personal space and belongings. A clean as I go kind of person. So don't you worry. Currently out of town and will be back in the first week of Feb. Feel free to chat/text me If I fit the profile you're looking for. Hear from you soon. Have a good one! :D
Hi, im respectful, honest, clean and easygoing person. Iv lived in many shared houses before so i know how all this works. Couple looking for a place near CBD/close by suburbs. One Australian & one kiwi girl. Returning to Melbourne after travelling & living overseas for a long time. In need of some awesome housemates to welcome us back to the Melbourne lifestyle. Clean, respectful and social, keen to have a laugh with housemates.
Howdy! I'm a German/Chinese/Fijian guy who has just returned back to Melbourne after a yearish of travel. I'm a Sport Scientist by degree, however I decided I would rather be a bartender, so that's what I'm doing at the moment, as well as operating a small business and trying to get a few other projects off the ground, all while simultaneously trying to figure out the complexities of the world and the nature of things. I'm a friendly and honest person, who enjoys the company of down to earth people. Always up for a movie night, game of chess, drinks, in depth conversation and having fun.
Doing my Honours in Biomedical Science near the Alfred Hospital and so would ideally like to move nearby. I am vegan, but respect everyone's decisions when it comes to food as long as mine is also respected. I really enjoy wine and staying at home cooking, watching netflix and just generally chilling. I work on weekends and so will likely not be at home very often and will be working full time hours during the week for honours. Feel free to contact me if you have any properties available! Looking forward to hearing from you!
Hi, I'm Shannen, 21, and work as a nanny in Clifton Hill. I have a playful Staffordshire Bull Terrior who loves people, is toilet trained and doesn't chew or dig. She spends her days outside ( need fenced backyard) and only comes inside when I'm home. I love a good tv series and spend my weekends socialising or with family. I'm tidy and respectful of communal spaces. Am always up for a chat/drink but also happy to keep to myself.
I'm moving down to Melbourne from Queensland in February for my first year of university as a Bachelor of Fines Arts student. Being the aspiring artist I am, I enjoy the simple things in life things such as following various dogspotting sites, sketching real life portraits at cafes and watching 90s/80s sitcoms and films alike. Super easy to live with, I understand and respect the concept of space and believe cleaning is daily activity not a sometimes job. 10/10 friendly and would actively join any end of week catch ups.
Hey there, I'm 22 work full time in the financial services industry. I'm pretty tidy so no issue there. Love going out for a drink on the weekends or just catching up with friends! Would love to hear back from you. Albert.

Hi everyone! My name is Elly and I'm a 27 year old female who works in Advertising full-time in the CBD. I have always been a Melbourne girl. Apart from working, I love to exercise and socialise. Huge movie and music fan! I am extremely clean and tidy and have respect for my surroundings.
Hello! I work in hospitality and am in the process of relocating to Melbourne. I've lived in Sydney all of my adult life in shared housing situations, and have gotten along well with a good mix of people. I prefer living in a place where the occupants are happy to mingle and socialise, especially over drinks and/or food, but understand the need for personal space as well. I enjoy cooking at home, and will be bringing a bunch of cool kitchen toys with me! At other times I run fairly regularly for exercise, or play video games on the computer. My work hours will very likely be late and long. I do my best to keep things quiet when I come home late and have never had complaints from the other 9-5ers I live with. I don’t have a pet but love animals, so I’m happy to feed or walk/exercise your pets. I’m looking for a long-term home (6 months or more) and would like to move around the 1st of February, with some flexibility. I should have a job by then but if you’re (understandably) apprehensive, I’m open to discussing arrangements for contingencies or a guarantee of some sort.

Also I'm really mindful of my own mess and very clean. Love a good tv show binge or endlessly flicking through netflix trying to find something to watch. Super friendly and would love to find people to move with or a place with some cool people in it :)

I am 29, so not into crazy partying. During the week, it's just work (9-5 in marketing/comms), yoga and working out. At the weekend, I do like to go out to restaurants, bars and meet up with friends. I am not one for staying at home and I am do stay busy. I have recently arrived to Melbourne from England but I've been living in the Netherlands for the past four years. I am a sociable person and I'm easy to get along with. I am relaxed and respectful of others' privacy. However, I'm happy to have a chat and share a glass of wine with future housemate(s). Move in date is negotiable as I do have a place until the 12th Feb. I smoke socially when out, so would never smoke in the house and I don't smoke during the week.
Hi! We're a couple who have been together 5 years and living together for 4, both on our own and in sharehouses. We're both musicians but not the loud kind. Paloma is a fantastic cook and loves baking so this arrangement will get you cookies, guaranteed ;) She is beginning her Masters of Primary Education at Melbourne University this year. Joe is a piano teacher, composer and bandleader. Both of us are into board games, horror movies, and we're more into dinner parties than party parties. Most importantly we're stable, reliable, and easy to get along with. Plus did we mention the cookies? We're looking for a easygoing, friendly and respectful housemate or housemates who would enjoy sharing the odd bottle of wine at the end of a long week. We come with furnishings including fridge, couch, TV, dining table etc for common use. We're also dog lovers! Looking for a house/flat near PT to movie into near the end of February. Shoot us a message if you think we'd be a good fit together.
My name is Jamie, I'm 25, from Ireland and work full time. I am a clean, tidy and respectful person. I have lived in numerous share houses so I respect people's privacy and I am always on time with rent/bills and not afraid to pull my weight with household chores. I enjoy going to the gym, working out and going out for dinner and some drinks at the weekends.
Hi future housemate(s) ! I'm a 26 y/o female who just moved back to Aus after living in the states for 23 years (!!). I'm currently living up in Eltham with family friends, but will be starting an 18 month Diploma of Nursing course in Box Hill (in early Feb), so looking to move closer to school (on the same train/tram lines) + closer to the city to get a more authentic feel of Melbourne livin' :) I'm a positive, open-minded, warm and friendly person. Love meeting new people and getting to know them/their stories, but also love time to myself/my independence, so I enjoy a balance. I take responsibility for keeping my own space clean and tidy, as well as doing my part in communal areas. I'm hard working and will be very focused on school, but also love to take it easy and enjoy good company too. Photography, pilates, traveling, camping, plants/nature, the cosmos, bbq's, hiking, pescatarian (almost full veg), music festivals, energy healing/reiki, meditation, glass of red wine, animals, kindness and authenticity... a few bits and pieces of my life :) Hoping to find someone (or a few!) to share, live and grow with!
I am clean, tidy, respectful and easy going. I have just graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Masters of Business Information Management degree and have just recently moved from Perth to Melbourne. I am looking to rent a room in Melbourne city or within proximity. Also, I am a non smoker and usually like to keep to myself. During my free time, I like to relax; however, when it's windy I head to the beach for a Kitesurfing session.
Hello! Looking for a place to live around Richmond/ Hawthorn area in late January. Im a pretty down to earth chick. Pros- im social, active and look to study and work so i wont be in the house all that much. Its hard to vouch for yourself but my friends think Im not too bad and old people think Im nice. Looking to Study at Deakin as well as do some training in the CBD so I am hoping to score a place in the middle. I am from Alice Springs ( i know, so exotic) and currently here until the 22ndd of Jan. What I enjoy here is hiking and riding my bike and I am hoping to take my passions and apply it to the Victorian way of life. Hope to hear from you!
I'm working full time as a researcher. I'm quite clean and fairly quiet. During the week I spend my free time either reading a book, doing some sports for recreation, such as swimming, gym, or bouldering, or doing random things on a computer. However, I'm also happy to occasionally share a meal or go out together with my house- or flatmates. On the weekends I'm either just relaxing at home or doing day trips, typically for some easy hikes or cycling along the bay.
I'm a tidy person who enjoys listening to music, watching to movies, biking and learning new stuff. I moved to Melbourne as part of a lifetime experience. Not a party guy but Like it from time to time, instead I like a beer or a glass of wine in home or a restaurant or pub. Originally, I'm an Architect but I'm working in hospitality as part of my overseas experience. Love nature and I'm willing to meet local and foreign people like me.
I'm 24 and currently employed full-time as a project engineer. I consider myself quite outgoing, easy to get along with, reliable and very sociable. I’m very neat and clean up after myself religiously. I have had experience living in share houses and on my own before so I am aware of what is expected. Besides working usual hours of 8am-5pm, in my spare time I love to play guitar, binge watch crappy TV shows and eat more than I probably should. I am usually out and about on weekends, but also enjoy the occasional night in. I would love to move into a place with social people of similar age who would be up for sharing a couple of meals or drinks with each other now and then. Please feel free to contact me with any questions!
I moved down to Melbourne in Nov 2016 for work, I am employed as a full time Store Manager in one of Australias most leading fashion retailers, my store is on chapel st. Im very mature and responsible and like to keep to myself. In my spare time I enjoy exploring new places, cooking and going for a run. I would love to find some flatmates that I can make new friends with also. Im very clean and love organisation! Hopefully I can meet you very soon! :)
I'm someone discreet, respectful and organized. I'm a french girl student in Melbourne for a 3 months internship. I'm currently in a hostel that I want to leave as soon as possible. I like watching movies, listening music and I'm here too to visit as much as possible the city.
