Hi I'm Rob, originally from NZ, been living in Melbourne almost 5 years now. I'm 28 and currently working in the events industry. Just finished up with the Melbourne Marathon and now moving on to the World Cup of Golf for the next few months. I like to keep healthy and try to get out mountain biking a few times a week. Grew up with 3 sisters so very much house trained, friendly and considerate of others. Have a fairly busy life from work, but always try to have a catch up when i have the time. Happy to live with quiet or sociable people, have lived with both before and get along great with either. Love animal's but don't have any myself
23 year old manager who can quote more episodes of Kath &v Kim and more moments from The Castle than anyone you would have ever met. My weekdays consist of me going to work, the gym & then watching documentrys & Netflix, my weekends consist of me going out for drinks on a Saturday & then brunch on a Sunday. Looking for someone to share a place with who lives a similar "is she a party girl or a sad loner, I don't know?" Sort of lifestyle! If you want to know more about me instead of reading this dribble- hit me back, just to chat, truly yours, your biggest fan This is Amy.
Hi! I will be moving to Melbourne early next year to start a full time job. I'm a reasonably neat person with terribly average cooking skills. I'm pretty easy going and love to try new things. Would love to find a friendly household with some flatmates who can help me settle in to Melbourne. I've put down to stay 3 months but am definitely open to a longer stay.
We're two Canadian girls here on a WHV, we love touring the city on our off time and just looking for a place to stay in the mean time :) we're clean and tidy, will be working so not overly noisy in the evenings, easy going and friendly! Looking for a furnished room for the two of us!
(Initial note: I am queer and sometimes gender-nonconforming/femme in my presentation and my partner is trans, if this is an issue don't bother messaging me) I am a friendly, tidy, and responsible 22yo social science/teaching student, I'm also finding work over the holidays as I've only recently moved to Melbourne. I am always up for a chat but unintrusive, much of the time I will either be out or studying but I'm open to both independent and more friendly share arrangements if we have similar interests/get along. I am vegetarian and prefer to organise my own food, although I enjoy cooking and don't mind sharing at times. I don't currently have any furniture, however I require very little to be available (just a mattress/bed, if it's a 6+ month lease I can source my own), and can supply my own kitchenware, other than an oven/hotplates. Ideally I'm looking for somewhere with a nice kitchen and a room that fits a double bed. I'm looking for at least a 6 month lease, somewhere longer (up to a year) is no problem either. My move date is pretty flexible.
Studying and working part time. Looking for a comfy place to call home. Looking for more of a quiet house with my studies but I do enjoy watching TV and hanging around the living spaces with housemates as well. Love to talk about just about everything, I'm a bit of a linguistics fanatic if you want to get me talking!
Heyy guys!! I just moved from the family farm to the city, I work in a law firm in Melbourne's CBD. I am friendly and always up for a chat In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym and being active.
From Vancouver Island, Canada, Im 23 , worked as a bartender before coming here. finished school at VIU in Criminology and here on a working holiday for 9-12 months. Just staying at my friends house at the moment, but im trying to move closer to downtown where i work. Looking for people to meet and explore Australia. Im easy going, have traveled quite a bit. played rugby in Canada, and enjoy camping, hiking, snowboarding and some surfing.
Hi everyone ! I'm a spanish student, born and living in Switzerland. I've just finished my bachelor degree in marketing, communication and public relations and now it's time for me to improve my english. I'm relatively organized, I cook basic food and some desserts but above all I love to prepare gin-tonic and cuba libre drinks in a maniacal way ;-) I have no problems to share cleaning or cooking task and obviously bills. My goal is to learn english, be indulgent in a first time if I listen more than I speak. I will be really pleased to share moments like dinners or drink a glass of wine (or two) speaking with my flatmates ! Also can teach a little bit of french, spanish or italian (also a good way for don't forget them). Don't hesitate to contact me for any question. Julio
Hey ladies and gents! I'm Bethany! I'm 20 years old and have recently moved to Melbourne at the start of the year from Albury/Wodonga. I currently live in West Melbourne, however my lease ends soon so I am looking for somewhere new! I work in Docklands, so anywhere nearby or close to the city is where I'm looking, (somewhere that won't take me more than 30 mins to get to work) however I do not drive at the moment so somewhere close to public transport is necessary! I am a very friendly and easy going person. I am very social, love having a laugh and going out and doing things to keep busy! I go to the gym, and I head into the city quite a fair bit. I am also a tidy person (not OCD but i know how to be clean), and I respect other peoples surroundings. I work 5-6 days a week and on weekends I like to catch up with friends, go to the footy (go cats), or head out! I promise I am a great person to live with :) I would love to find somewhere I can call my home!
Hey, I'm Scott, and I'm making this ad on a Saturday night, while eating chicken schnitzel and drinking beer. Says it all really. I'm moving to Melbourne in January, from sunny/humid Brisbane; and I'd actually love somewhere to park my caboose at night! I'm gainfully employed, punctual with rent/bills, and respectful of space/cleanliness. I am a bit shy at first, and try not to impose on space or people or anything - but it would be great to make some new friends in town. In my free time, I kind of run the music/video games/tv gamut (if you're excited for RPDR S9, hmu), and I love to bake desserts (plus I clean up after myself). What am I looking for in a share house? I need somewhere to stay short-term, around four weeks and furnished; preferably without a bond, but happy to discuss. In a long term situation? Preferably not an old woman in a shoe type deal - 2 or 3 housemates is my max; and I don't want to live with couples or pets. Soz not soz. Other than that, I'm pretty chill, and all I ask is that my room be big enough for a queen bed and either have built ins, or room for some clothes racks.
I'm Danish and have relocated from Denmark to work for a Melbourne based company. I'm easy-going as any Aussie, tidy, quiet, polite and just a perfect room mate :-) And it will be great to have some company, who can teach me about Melbourne.
Hi! My name's Tim and I'm a 26 year old Melbournian. I'm a professional working in the financial industry in the CBD (normal office hours). I'm looking for a room in the inner city - north or east side. I'm able to pay bond and would like to go on the lease. Ideally I'd like a house with more than one other person. I'm an empathetic person who enjoys a chat over dinner and a quiet night in during the week. Neat and tidy, I don't mind doing my share of the housework. I like to keep fit and swim a couple of times a week. Cooking is something I really enjoy and I like to have the occasional dinner party. Feel free to get in contact if you have any questions or think that I'd be a good fit in your house! Tim
G'Day, My name is Jake. I am a 28 year old electrician. I'm originally from country NSW but have lived in Melbourne since the start of the year and have lived here a for a cpl of years in the past. I love Melbourne. I love sport. I enjoy cooking and getting out trying new things. I go to the gym but I'm not a fitness freak. I like being outdoors and I love going to concerts, events etc. I'm an easy-going laid back country guy, who doesn't drink these days, but still loves a laugh and a bloody good time. I'm very respectful of other people's privacy and enjoy my own. Don't mind sharing a meal or the chores. If I sound like a good fit for you, shoot me a message or however all this works. Cheers guys, Jake
Hey! I am a Scottish Lad who is currently Living in Perth. On my last R&R I went to Melbourne for a week and fell in love with the city. I am looking to move to Melbourne early next year, Feb/March. I work FiFo on the Wheatstone gas plant in Onslow WA on a 3/1 Roster so I would only be living there one week a month. I am however looking to get out of the Industry and this is likely to change after May. I am very easy to get on with and am a big believer of live and let live. I love meeting new people and socialising, however I also like to have time to my self and respect other peoples wishes for the same. If i was your flatmate I could promise you a lot of fun, plenty of laughs and likely a friend for life. I will try anything twice and enjoy most things, I have a wide and varied taste in music, food and well....pretty much everything lol. I enjoy cooking and like to keep a clean living space, however I am not anal about this as everyone has different standards. I am looking for a comfortable place to stay in a Beautiful city and hopefully an amazing Friend(s) to share it with.
Luke and I are very clean, responsible, and respectful of any personal items and/or pets. I have been in melbourne working full time in hospitality and Luke is coming here to visit me for a couple of weeks before we head over to New Zealand on the 285th of December. We would rather stay in a more settled home then a hostel or air bnb since I will still be working while he is here. I need to move in on Monday the 5th and then Luke will join on the 11th.
Well hello mates! I will be starting my first year at RMIT University (Melbourne City Campus) in first week of February,2017. I am an Indian and will be pursuing a bachelors in Digital media. Well I'm an outgoing, friendly and reliable person. Above anything you would always find me clean and tidy. I am a music enthusiast who enjoys a good company, travel/exploration and jam sessions. My interest also includes fitness, attending live gigs, short adventures, etc. When it comes to other people, I understand the concept of personal space/privacy and expect the others to understand it as well. I also enjoy cooking and binge-watching Netflix on weekends or free days. In short, I'm considerate and supportive for the people who've always been a helping hand. Also, there will be no issues on my end when it comes to rent, bills and payment. I'm looking forward to stay somewhere long term. Please feel free to contact me. Cheers!
I am a 29yo Kiwi, I've been living in Melbourne for four years. I work full time at Citipower I'm into pretty much all sports and love to hit the gym. I'm pretty laid back and enjoy a night in watching sport or a movie and the odd night out on the town, the hangovers are getting a bit rough to handle. I've lived in share houses since arriving in Australia and get along with everyone.
I'm easy going, respectful and mindful of others, honest, responsible, i love animals ( I have a 11month old bengal kitten called saphira), love a good laugh and im allways looking on the bright side of life. I usually keep to myself, but i do love a good chat and love to hear other peoples stories and experiences. I'm only looking for a place with a garage or shed so that instead of living in the house id use the garage/shed as my room/parking space for my motorbike. As long as it has a solid flooring and easy access for me to bring my bike in after work. If its cold and breezy i dont care:) im a handy man and i love to fix things. If im not working on my bike im usualy working on my visual display electronics. Iv worked in just about every job industry, iv traveled all over asia and australia and also live in melbourne backpackers for 2 years. I got a story for every occasion. Im verry open to options and ideas on anything.
Very easy going, love to cook and listen to music. Work in the creative industry - enjoy a balanced lifestyle of eating well, enjoying a good drop, fitness and social nights out and quiet nights in. Just a nice friendly mix.

Hi, I am currently looking for a private room to stay from 7 Dec to 18 Dec 2016 (12 nights). Please message me if you are interested. Thanks. A little bit about me: I think everyone thinks themselves is easy-going and clean, so I will not emphasize that. I am a software developer working at an Internet startup in Melbourne. I love Japanese culture. I can speak Japanese and have traveled everywhere in Japan. I also like hiking and have a little bit experience in mountaineering.
Hi , I'm Irene 27 , Moving from London to Melbourne for the Summer till 2017 of June. I've lived in a Creative warehouse share with a bunch of creative people where we can call it home when I was in London. I have experince to live with others and I'm also looking forward to meet amazing housemate when I move to Melbourne. I'm a tidy person (but no O.C.D.) very social person but also like to be a listener. I'm a big fan of Outdoor sports but also love art and music. And I'm good at cooking ! ( bonus ?!) My reason come to Melbourne is for Working Holiday but also want to promote my business that I set up in London - which is selling Taiwanese street dessert. So I'm planning to do some pop up event in cafes and bars. very excited !! I hope you will find me interesting and give me a chance to have a viewing Looking forward to hear from you. Irene xx
I work and study full time however if I'm not doing either of those I love to be at the gym or out with friends. I've been in share accommodation before and really enjoyed living with different types of people. As much as I love my privacy I also love getting to know my house mates and having the odd big cook up together or drinks after work.
I am Cambodian and going to study a Master Degree in the University of Melbourne in early January , 2017. I am looking for a room that not far from uni of melbourne with cost around $230/week or less than $900/month. I will bring my spouse with 1.5 years old daughter after a few moth so I expect to find place accept couple with small child. we are a friendly, easy-going and respect others. we are clean, tidy and organized person. we are open to different kinds of opinions and multicultural perspectives. Besides, I respect other people concerns and privacy. we like to offer help to people in need.
I currently work full time as an IT consultant during weekdays. I love meeting new people and having long lasting friendships, so I'm looking for someone like-minded who wants to make a home and not just a place to sleep in. A little bit about my house habits: I can't cook very well so I often don't even try -- but hey, that's less water consumed for the month, and if you're like me, we can always order in food together. Except for rice. I'm good at cooking rice. I'm clean without being over the top. I keep my belongings to a minimum as I don't really have a penchant for knick knacks... and my laptop entertains me enough during the week (see: IT consultant). Will most likely faint at the sight of a spider or a roach. During my down time I enjoy watching Netflix/Stan, reading books, browsing the web and maybe chatting with you! I really need to strengthen up / be more fit, so if you're an advocate for healthy living I would love your assistance in dragging my lazy ass to the park for a morning jog. Cheers, Deb
I'm a quite person love to have social people around me though. Doing masters and busy with studying and working romotely with my office backhome . Also looking for casual job in my masters field . Very clean and very good cook .

Hi! I'm just a chill girl from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, looking for other girls to share a flat with, preferably fellow international students. I'm an extrovert, but like everyone else, will keep to myself at times. I'll be heading to RMIT for industrial design next February. I've mad love for spicy food (Thai, especially), Japanese films, dessert, football and art. Music-wise, I like stuff like Gorillaz, The Weeknd, Frank Ocean, Young The Giant, Stars, Lorde, Vampire Weekend, Disclosure, Ra Ra Riot and Childish Gambino. Among many others, anyway. I'm both a tea and coffee person. The same goes for dogs and cats. I speak three languages ー English, Malay and Japanese. I'm big on cleanliness, tidiness and hygiene. My hobbies include sports and outdoor activities (like rock climbing, yoga and pilates) and lots of arts and crafts. Basically, I'm pretty easygoing and I like getting to know new people. And I really really love the beach. Hit me up if you think we'd get along!
We are a clean, working and happy young couple looking for a short term stay until we find our own unit! New to Melbourne, both moving from Sydney! Looking for something simple, clean, and central or close! My boyfriend and I are quiet and keep to ourselves, but love a good chat and a coffee/cup of tea! We are definitely not party animals, preferring movies and food to bars and clubs. We are super relaxed, open minded, considerate and easy to get along with! Making the move to Melbs to escape the eastern suburbs of Sydney. Dane is a photographer who loves travel, interesting people and books. I'm a tea-loving, dog-petting gal who loves music and a good laugh! Both non drinkers and non smokers. Feel free to message us if you think we'd make a sweet little addition to your home ☺️

HI guys! I 'm Elisa, a 27 yo Italian and emphatic girl. I 'm going to spend my Second WHV in Australia, from December 2016: indeed I'm planning to stay in the wonderful city of Melbourne (Where I've already got hips of friends, happy to introduce 'em to my flatmates) at least for 4-5 moths. I will start soon an University Short Course in RMIT as well, so I definitely need to find my place in this City. I consider myself a calm, ordinate and clean person, but always ready to share. I simply looove to cook, and I would be more than happy to hang out and create a positive environment and relationship with my flatmates.
Hi, I'm Sharlyn and I'll be starting school at the University of Melbourne. Currently, I'm doing an internship at a local PR company and traveling a little. I'm from Singapore, and am fluent in English (and Chinese/Mandarin, a teeny bit). I'd consider myself clean and tidy-ish, but not overly so. I'm an introvert, but pretty friendly and definitely open to making friends. :) Ideally, I'd prefer to have my own room in a sharehouse, and to stay with girls. I have two dogs at home (a husky named Neko and a frenchie named Oki!) so animals are fine.
Hey everyone, my lease is up in mid-jan so I'm looking for a new place to live with some lovely creatively inclined people. I'm an ex-art history student taking a gap year to work and hopefully take off travelling again before starting screenwriting in 2018. I work full time (ish) and spend the rest of my time on theatre projects, yoga, reading art biographies and crime novels obsessively and singing tragically along to 60's folk music. I've been in a few sharehouses before and am pretty tidy and respectful of all common areas. I value my alone time but would love housemates who are up for the odd bevvie. I love to cook and bake experimentally so you can reap the occasional rewards :) Looking for a place ideally with a garden as a year in boxy student accomodation has given me cabin fever, but chill with whatever 👍
Hi there! I'm a student looking for somewhere to live next year whilst I study a Bachelor of Environments at Melbourne university, majoring in Architecture and Urban Planning & Design. I both work and study, so you can rely on me to be committed to monthly rent payments. In my spare time, I enjoy socialising, reading, drawing things that aren't buildings and cities, and playing my guitar (acoustic, don't worry!). Ideally would like to move in before the commencement of the 2017 study year (just before the beginning of March) , and stay until the conclusion of my exams, however am flexible on the length of stay beyond 9 months. If you have something that you think would meet this criteria, please don't hesitate to contact me. Thanks, Laura
Hello there, I am a 29 year old Indian male and a masters student at the University of Melbourne. I am a simple and straight forward person, focused on his studies and career. I have previously worked in the United Kingdom for three years in the financial services industry. I like to maintain a healthy lifestyle and I value cleanliness . My hobbies are writing poetry, reading books and articles online. I am basically a quiet person and I am looking for a room to either share or stay privately for at least a period of six months. Looking forward to hearing from you guys! regards Rahul
Hello, Toby here! I'm interested in finding someone to team up with so that I can find a new home in Fitzroy/surround areas. I am also open to living in an established household in said area. I really look forward to the idea of living in such a vibrant place where there are lots of young people, restaurants, bars and new things to try! I live a very quiet lifestyle throughout the week as I work fulltime. However on the weekend I enjoy going out to try the local cafes/restaurants. Cheers.
Yami - is a chilled, respectful guy who enjoys reading fiction & non-fiction, singing in the shower, the occasional TV show (game of thrones etc) and card games (but he can get pretty competitive!) He also gets up at the crack of dawn 3 days a week to train in Krav Maga! He's also a pretty decent cook of both omnivorous & vegan meals! Alex - is a very relaxed, zany character, he's always good for a laugh and/or philosophical conversation. He enjoys debating the finer points of alcohol, but most of all he enjoys concocting his next hair-brained weekend adventure! Both of us are full time Solar power marketing professionals who respect the cleanliness & tidiness of communal spaces, we love animals, and we're MASSIVE foodies! Alex smokes very occasionally & Yami not at all. We're available to move in any weekend from the 3-4 of Dec onwards, the sooner the better!
Hey! I'm a twenty-four year old female from England, I'm in Melbourne until mid March 2017 and looking for a place to stay. I currently work full-time in the CBD, and love to explore and keep fit on the weekends. I like to socialise but I'm also happy to keep myself to myself when needed. I am looking for a private room in a furnished property.
I'm a recent graduate from Emily Carr University or Art and Design in Vancouver, BC. I'm here on contract work with Monash University for at least 3 months, and looking for a cool, cozy place to call home for a while. I love cooking for friends, and would enjoy occasional roomie nights, but will mostly be working, wandering the city and off on my own adventures. For anyone who gains knowledge from this - I'm a Leo and an INFJ. I'm basically a pretty laid back chick who likes to read and study, but also loves exploring and having a good time! Let's chat and see if we could be a good fit! :) -Cheers!
Hello! I'm looking for a furnished single room in Melbourne, preferably in a suburb close to public transport and to the CBD. I'm an easygoing, respectful, tidy and clean person. I enjoy chitchatting but also respect everyone's privacy and space. Cheers

In the evenings I have another part time job some nights and other nights ill be playing sport. So I'll hardly be home! I am quite, respectful and career orientated person. Im a non smoker, non drinker, non partier. If your place has off street parking and furnished would be a massive bonus! I'm flexible about move in date, ideally early to mid Jan would suit me best. I'm also flexible about the suburbs Please contact me if your interested :)
I'm from Perth, but I'm currently studying in Melbourne. I'm looking for a private room in a share house close to uni, to move in around February. I am a clean and organised person; I enjoy painting, and listening to music. I like my own space - so I will definitely respect your space as well. Recently I've gotten into yoga and running around Princes Park! I'm also collecting succulents at the moment. I'm a vegetarian (but not really strict, because I still eat fish from time to time). Thanks for reading :)
Hi there! I'm looking to create a cosy share house in Brunswick/Northcote/Thornbury etc but also branching out to some of the leafier Northern suburbs such as Ivanhoe, Heidelberg, Rosanna, Watsonia, etc. A little bit about me: I'm in my 20s in my final semester of my undergrad degree at La Trobe, majoring in Anthropology and English. I spend my time hunting out new vegan brunch spots, sipping cups of chai tea and hanging out with friends. I work as a nanny for several families in the inner North and work in mental health advocacy/policy which sometimes takes me up to Sydney for the day. I'm a feminist, queer friendly and environmentally conscious, so if these are values that you relate to/respect/are interested in, that would be excellent! I'm a clean person and considerate of shared spaces. I enjoy a chat in between life's up and downs but also need time out to unwind (doesn't everyone?). I have an extensive collection of homewares (enough to furnish a whole kitchen) but very little major furniture such as a fridge, dining table etc. so if that's something you could contribute, let me know! Zara :~)
Hey, I'm Anna and I will be studying at the University of Melbourne for a semester. I am looking for a place near the University, preferably with current or past students. Right now I am attending the University of Washington and living in Seattle. I have only had female housemates so far but would be happy to mix it up! I work part time at a home organization store and am planning to get part time work while in Melbourne. I like to drink coffee, pet strangers dogs, and occasionally go out with friends. I will be studying and working so I will be away some of the time but would like to find housemates that enjoy hanging out from time to time and get along well. Please let me know if you have any questions!
Hello friends, I'm not good at writing these things. I work full time as a barista, always pay my shit on time, I enjoy being social with my housemates (have a drink or what ever), respectful e.g noise, cleanliness. Love animals, Not a smoker but I couldn't care less if you are, as long as its not in the house then its chill. Don't really want to live with more than 3 people but I'll take what I can get if the house is of suitable size. Don't have a car so a car space isn't necessary.
