We are two friendly, easy-going Western Australians who have lived Melbourne for the last 6 months. We are both working and studying and looking for a long-term place to call home!
I’m from Japan and I study in school which is building and construction and I work as a house maintenance. I’m a tidy person and I’m not a party parson but I like listening to techno music. When I have free time I go for a run or watch Netflix.

Hey people, Looking for somewhere to stay close-ish to the CBD, if anyone has a room free please let me know! I am also open to starting a new sharehouse if anyone is looking for someone to join-up with them. About me; I recently moved from Perth - enjoy a bunch of things like cooking, gardening, camping/outdoors, seeing live music, festivals, skateboarding and taking photos. I'm pretty easygoing and respectful to my housemates, always tidy and considerate. I like a good balance between spending time on my own and with housemates and would be up for dinners and drinks together. I'm flexible with move-in date and length of stay, I'll be studying at UniMelb for the next two years.
Hey there! I am 21 years old and just recently started working as a Registered Nurse at an inner-city hospital in Melbourne. In my spare time I love to hang out with friends, cook/bake, get a little bit crafty and explore the outdoors and nature.
Hey guys! I'm actively looking for a private room in a shared house/unit where I will be able to occasionally hang out with the new housemates but also have some me time when need be. When I'm not at work, I'm either at pilates or F45, having brunch/dinner or having a wine (or 2-3) with some friends. Although I'm a real homebody, I love going out for dinner and or catch up with some mates on the weekend. I love traveling so I'm away some weekends or for a few weeks at a time throughout the year. I'm currently working full-time in healthcare in administration. I am looking for someone who is tidy and doesn't mind cleaning but not OCD.
Good lad, 20 year old Kiwi. I'm moving out of a flat in Preston, and starting a new job in the city at a marketing firm, working normal 9-5 hours. Looking for a place to stay at least 12+ months. I'm up for anything and flexible to work around different flat dynamics. So if you're looking for someone into board games and a jug of tea, I'll bring the English Brekkie. Or if you're about banter, getting on the Mojito's, and playing couch co-op games, I'll bring the white rum. And of course, I can be a total shut-in and just write a novel in my room, or listen to a podcast. Otherwise I love snowboarding, going to the pub, hip-hop, rock music, and motorcycles. Anyway, I'm mature for my age, low stress, and always get along with people - so let's sort something out.
Hi I’m Dave! I’m 33 and doing my Masters of Social Work fulltime at Uni of Melb, I'm currently living in North Melbourne and I work in Before and After School Care at North Melbourne Primary, community is very important to me I’m passionate about social justice and mental health but not in an obtrusive way. I have a mad passion for film, and arts and can talk about it for hours and love going to Nova. I’m a quiet person at first until you unpack some of the layers, but once engaged in conversation I don’t stop. I like a social house environment and to talk over meals, but also enjoy time by myself to wind down in stressful periods. I’m looking for a balanced house, people who do the right thing, not a dictated environment, but one where everybody pitches, in and discussions are open. I love animals, and most arts and look forward to hearing from you Chz Dave Move in date Negotiable.
Oh hey! I'm a 25 year-old full-time travel agent, relocating to Melbourne towards the end of June and would like to team up with someone like-minded to secure a long-term lease. I love coffee, adventures, and gin. I have an interior design background so I like to keep the place decked out - also very tidy and pay bills on time. Mainly looking for someone I can be friends with rather than just a housemate that I barely see. Oh and I can cook! If this sounds like something you are looking for, or have any questions, send me a message! Elle x
I am a paralegal working full time in the CBD. Pros of living with me - I’m really funny and I always have wine in the fridge. I am very easy going, clean and respectful. I keep it relatively chill during the week, but I am quite social and always up for a drinks/dinner. Quite happy to share meals and have a wine over trash TV, but respect the fact that everyone needs their own space. Huge dog fan, but deathly allergic to cats, and I value my life so please no cat owners I have a few furniture items (couch, fridge etc) that I would ideally like to bring with me.
I’m Kasia, 26 and from the UK. In Melbourne and keen on finding a room within a sociable and downright lovely house. I’m house trained, considerate and easy-going. I enjoy hiking, exploring the many Melbournian coffee shops around, travelling, tasting and drinking wine, sewing, watching Rupaul, eating good food, good company etc.
Hi, I'm 25 and finished my postgraduate study last year at Melbourne University. I recently started my professional career as an I.T. professional in Melbourne. I'm tidy, easygoing and optimistic. Hey... I’m Tom, I am 28 and I’m making the move back to Melbourne ate April, early may... (All ready have f/t work lined up) I love working hard and love to spend the down time relaxing and enjoy what life has to offer. Originally from Shepparton. So I’m a bit of a country boy... But i have live in melbourne before for 4 years... Looking for a place with good person/people to socialise with every now and then, and have some quality fun banter with, that’s a must... I love my sport and keeping active, running hiking gym footy cricket golf... Working as a plumber ill have a work van. I am ideally looking for a place where will be able to park the work van off the street 99% of the time. I work Monday to Friday 7-4ish and some weekends. I’m planning on doing some night schooling when i get back so could be out of the house some nights till late evening.
I work full-time in games development as a 3D Artist. I spend most of free time also on computers, when I'm not helping run a badminton club for queer women.
I'm a young guy working full time as a web developer in Fitzroy, looking for a fun inner city place with some cool housemates. I'm generally pretty laid back, and not much bothers me. I just want to live with fun people I can have a laugh with. I'm perfectly happy either chilling in my room for days on end or hanging out with people and being social. I'm super considerate, the worst thing I can think of happening is that my actions will negatively impact someone, so I'll generally do my best to make sure everyone is having a good time. I have two adorable 6 month old cats, Audrey and Wally, who are super loving and really clean. I'm vegan, but again I'm pretty laid back. As long as you're cool and respect my lifestyle I can roll with the punches. I'm also a musician, playing guitar, bass and keyboard, but aside from singing in the shower I play with headphones so you wont have to worry about any loud 3am jams. Being a computer nerd, I come with my own supder high speed unlimited internet connection, and am happy to be the house IT department. I also come with a good fridge, a Nutribullet, basic kitchen supplies and one of those cube shelving/TV units from Ikea.
I am an easy-going, friendly person. I will be working full-time Monday to Friday in the Melbourne CBD area so I am looking for accommodation nearby. Feel free to PM me if you have something suitable available. Cheers.
Hello I'm Ellen, I'm 24. I'm currently studying health science at Swinburne and I work part-time in accounting. I'm pretty easy going, friendly, and respecting of other people. I clean up after myself and am more than willing to help out in any way. I'm pretty quiet and don't make much noise. I like the usual things like music, watching movies, going for walks, cooking, and coffee with friends.
Hi possible flatmate! My name is Bárbara but they call me B or Barbs. I'm a 32 year old chilean (yes, my mother language is Spanish) designer, photographer and ex hiking guide in Patagonia. After a 6 months trip around Europe and Asia I've decided to settle down for a while in Melbourne. Initially I'm looking for a place for 2 months, but if magic happens and we really get along and I'm happy I could extend it until June 2019. Mi maximum budget is $250p/w bills included. I'm a very easy going person, friendly and would be glad to share nice moments and conversations with my flatmates or even hang out when possible. Looking forward to live with someone around my age and with similar interests, ideally a girl. But I don't discard living with a boy. I enjoy silence, and need to have my space. Some of the things that I really love to do, watching movies, music, dancing, ridding bikes and horses, hiking, traveling, eating and basically having new experiences! Lately I have discovered that I also enjoy cooking too, so would be nice to cook and share a meal from time to time. Looking forward to have tidy and clean flatmates cause for me is important to have a nice place. I love to go out but I'm far from defining myself as a party animal. Anyway, I prefer to meet people in person and see what's the vibe between us. So, if I sound like a perfect fit don't hesitate to contact me! Looking forward to hear from you! Saludos! (cheers!) B
Hi! I’m a 25 year old female from the US looking for a rental for June and July (could start as early as mid May). I’m clean, chill, like to socialize but also happy doing my own thing. I’m finishing up a backpacking trip/sabbatical with a class in CBD and will be in class 9-5 weekdays, and plan on exploring Melbourne and Australia as much as I can after class and on weekends! I love a good glass of wine, live music, anything outdoors, art, dogs, and some good conversations about life and current events (preferably over wine). Open to any neighborhoods since I’m not familiar with Melbourne as long as they’re safe, easily accessible to CBD, and preferably has some good happy hour spots. Let me know if you have any questions or wanna chat more!
Looking for an ideal place to call home for at least 6-12 months. I can provide a pet bond, and references if you need! I rise early, walk Taco, do ballet workout, shower, then head out. I'll be studying ballet in the city, an additional course, and working: hospitality, and animal rescue. We need a dog-friendly place where Taco will be treated like a member of the household. I'm training him to help take out the garbage, and German, cos he has the basics down. It'd be wonderful to cheer-up sick children in hospital, so I guess Taco will be working too haha ;p We're quiet, love having fun and sharing happiness lol I tend to do cute character voices for his amusement, so we definitely won't be ghosts, or strangers to you. However, I do enjoy my solitude - the most efficient way to get a lot of study done. Always pay rent and bills on time! Have done so for 8 years, worked since age 9. I'm ambitious, a hardworker. Only on hiatus til I find a place in Melbourne. But will definitely be back in town for meet and greets. Taco is house-trained. Pointer X. Excited to make new friends, and go on lots of adventures. We play catch, cos I'm an awesome parent, and he is so lovable you'll want to rescue every shelter dog! 💗 I take care of Taco 100% + clean as I go, all the usual stuff! I'm easy-going, enjoy good conversation, love to mess around and laugh, but who doesn't! Secure outdoor area. Private room. Anywhere 10 mins (1km) from a station is mint! If you're experienced, friendly and chill it'll be fun! Good communication✅ Boardgames? And if you're a guy, nothing weird please. Finding somewhere by June would be killer! Anything else, just ask Thanks♡☆ Luna and Taco ^_^🐾
Hi! Rosie here. I'm a professional who works full time in the cbd, so am out from 8-6. In my spare time I'm into watching tv shows, going to trivia, enjoying a cold beverage and hanging out with mates. I'm easy going, very house trained, tidy and independent. Happy doing my own thing but would also like a housemate who is happy to have a chat or organise shared meals every now and then. I'm also super cat-friendly.
