We're both very easy going people, love to travel, cook and chill out. I'm free to move into a house whenever and he'll come join when he arrives! Get in touch!
I'm quiet and creative, would be great to live with other creative people! I'm a seamstress/designer in my spare time so I'm happy to hem your jeans~ Other than that I'm a big geek too!
Friendly:) tidy and easy going. I do like to keep to myself at times but happy to chill and watch a movie with u ..or whatever sounds exciting! I have a dog who's my big baby and my best friend! He's one off the reasons I'm searching for a place that's fine with pets so I can have him back with me. I'm laid back and willing to help around the house or if ever wanting to chill or have a chat or laugh . I currently work part time at a cafe as I'm looking in to starting a course of some sort.
Hi there, My names Christian and i'm 29 originally from a small country town in NSW. Ive been Living in Melbourne for the last two and a half years and absolutely love it here. I work full time as a plumber and have been for the last 11 years, so I'm pretty busy during the week and like to take it easy after work. I love to chill out on my times off, have a few beers, cooking, socialising while meeting new people. I'm looking for long term stay with a very chilled out environment and perhaps to make new mates. any other questions hit me up.
Myself and my girlfriend Amy are from the South East of England and are about to embark on our first full travels together. We've been to a few countries together so far but this is our biggest adventure yet. The pair of us are very outgoing and love meeting new people. We love music and sport and can't wait to live the outdoor Australian lifestyle.
Hello lovelies. I'm Annaleigh! I'm a dance teacher by day and well, by night too. I love reading, eating food that I didn't have to make and Netflix binge sessions. But now we've come to the part where I have to sell myself shamelessly. Lets begin. I am super clean! You will never find my stuff laying around or even just around really... I'm pretty quiet, so you don't have to worry about me making a lot of noise. I am a dance teacher though, so there might be the tiniest bit of music being played if I ever have to quickly choreograph from home. Lastly, I'm not going to steal your food and act like I didn't, but I'm also not going to bite your head off if you ever need to borrow some of my stuff. I'm pretty down to share. Please message me if you're interested.
A few things about me to spike your interest, as I assume you probably get a million messages! I work full time for a land surveyor as well as studying part time as a building designer. I'm hard working and highly reliable.. Brought up the good Ol' fashion way, so I know how to clean up after myself and cook a mean meal well too - if you're keen to share a meal or two together.. I get to the gym or yoga most days and love anything active or in the sun. Love a good weekend out and about or a relaxing night in on the couch with a glass of Pinot.. I'm a very down to earth, easy going person, but definitely enjoy my own space. I am looking for someone who is also respectable and a pleasure to live with. I'm 22, but definitely an old soul.. probably get along better with people quite a bit older than me so more looking for house mates in the 24+ vercinity.. but not too fussed..
I am a 29yo Kiwi (I've been living in Melbourne for five years. I work full time at CPA Australia an accounting body as a member adviser. I'm into pretty much all sports and love to hit the gym. I'm pretty laid back and enjoy a night in watching sport or a movie and the odd night out on the town, the hangovers are getting a bit rough to handle. I've lived in share houses since arriving in Australia and am very respectful of privacy and cleanliness.
We are two girls from Norway, who are looking for a place to stay now that we have finished travelling up the East Coast. Both of us finished college last year, and we are now enjoying our freedom before studying next fall. We are chilled, enthusiastic, reliable and keen to meet new people! Also, we enjoy making great food and like to keep things organised. We are looking for full-time or part-time work in Melbourne and want some routine back, by living in a flat and not 10 bed dorm hostels!
Hey, I'm Ana and I'm 21. Born in NZ, lived in Aus half of my life. Currently working at the Post Office, Monday to Friday. Hey! My name is Jordan and I am looking for somewhere to move in ASAP. I have money ready for a bond and I am pretty flexible on the dates/length of stay. I work full time in Carlton so I am looking for somewhere in the northern suburbs to live. I am sociable and chatty, am always up for a few drinks with mates or doing something interesting when not at work... I try not to take myself too seriously and have a good atmosphere around the house, I am laid back and enjoy being around similar, like-minded people. I like to cook, read & write in my spare time but also head out of the house and try and get about when possible. I respect other people's space and pull my own weight with household stuff as I like to be in a nice space! Hit me up if you have something that can work..!
Hello all! I am in Australia for a year on a working holiday visa, and am already in love with Melbourne. I am wanting to find a place that I can call home for the next 3 months (with possibility for extension). I am very clean, tidy and respectful of everyone, and also like to socialise. I would love to live with people I can hangout with after work chilling at home, but also am totally happy in my own space. I can move straight away as well. Room must be furnished! Looking forward to meeting potential housemates :-)
Hey folks, EXCHANGE STUDENT; GERMAN; DEAKIN UNIVERSITY; 25; NICE; TIDY; LAUGHING; FUN So first of all, my name is Yannik and I am a 25-year-old exchange student at Deakin University. After finishing school in 2011 I moved to Münster in a flatshare with two other people and started to study business. But to be honest I don’t see myself as a typical “finance business suited management person” and maybe this is why a friend I get to know in Sydney asked me, if I would really study business? :D During my Bachelor degree I did a semester abroad in San Diego, USA. I spent most of the time with my four roommates. This time was one of my best in my life and this is why I decided to do another semester abroad later on during my Master studies. After finishing my Bachelor studies I did a gap year, moved to Munich and did an internship at the Walt Disney Company for 6 months. After that I travelled through Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia and Indonesia for 3 months. Then I started my Master studies with the major in Marketing in October 2015 that I will continue after this semester abroad in April 2017. Besides I would describe myself as an open-minded person. Traveling really helps to think outside the box! and I think I am an over-average tidy person. I don’t really like chaos. I am really interested in sports in general, but especially in football. I am a fan of Borussia Dortmund, so maybe you have heard about the “Yellow Wall” ;). I also have played football at the football club in my hometown, but I also like playing volleyball, basketball and tennis and I try to go skiing once a year in the Alpes. The last 6 months I did CrossFit. Furthermore I am into tv series and movies (e.g. Breaking Bad, House of Cards, Walking Dead…). I watch a lot of Tv series with my flatmates. Last time we finished GoT the second time ;) I also like having a few beers with friends and mostly we go clubbing once a week. Last but not least I am not someone who locks himself in his room. My room door is always open and I don’t know why but in every flat I have lived in, my room evolved into a second living room :D I would love to hear from you :) Cheers! Or Prost (German)! Yannik
Hello, I'm looking for a room. I just arrived from France. I would like to stay in Melbourne minimum 2 months and find a job. I'm in Australia during 1 year to discover this beautiful country before I come back in my country and to have a job. I have the plan to travel the east coast and to improve my English. About me, I’m 26 years. I'm a simple guy, sociable and non-smoker. I like when it's clean and tidy. I practice running and playing tennis.
I'm Lisa. I've lived in share houses before. I'm respectful and tidy. I like my space but happy to socialise. I like a cup or tea or a wine on the couch. I have trouble saying no to a sweet treat and brunch. I work full time and enjoy a laugh.
Hi there! Born in Australia with an Armenian background, easy going, normal guy. Weekdays are 9-5 job, like to get up early some mornings and go for a run and some nights boxing after work. Like to socialise, eat out, travel, go to the footy and loveee listening to music. I am a clean guy but not the clean freak type!
My name is Natasha, I'm 24, I work in a boutique in the city and I am completing a degree in Communication Design at Billy Blue. I am looking for a room in the Northern suburbs. I am an easy going, drama-free person, and I am looking for a nice place to come back to and call home! I am interested in music and the creative arts, fashion and cooking. I enjoy a drink and a laugh with friends, and I'm a social person. Most weekends you will find me out and about seeing music, and during the week I keep it pretty low key with study and work. I have been living out of home for 5 years so I understand the basics of living out of home, and I actually try to be a good housemate (funnily enough that can be a rarity). If you would like to know more about me or you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in contact! I am looking for a place ASAP. Tash :)
My name is Josh. A 25 year old, who enjoys a peaceful yet balanced environment. For me, work, gym, studies and an occasional drink makes up a typical week. I currently run my own business in the fitness industry which keeps me busy during the early mornings and evenings. IDEAL HOME Looking for a share house that has a clean, safe and homily environment. I don't know many people in Melbourne so would like a house that is welcoming and friendly. I'm a 31 year old Irish guy who is moving to Melbourne in late November from London. I will be mainly working during the week in St Vincents Hospital in the city. I'm a fairly good housemate I think. Clean, tidy, can cook, easy going, sociable and all the rest. I love sports, films, tv, going out, fitness and travelling. I'm looking for a furnished room in a flat share so if you have a spare room and you think I would be a good housemate then get in touch. P.s. I hate writing these bio things so if I sound like a knob then I apologise.
Hey guys, We're a super cool and awesome couple looking for a place to rent in or around North Melbourne. We're on a working holiday visa and have finished our travels, and now just looking to spend the remainder of our time in Melbourne while we work. We've both working professionals (we're not boring k lol), and are very clean and tidy (we're in a place now that stank of smoke and mouldy shower galore, and omg the first two days of living here was napalm strike everything to clean it wtf). We're outgoing but we're not the type that live for the weekend and throw parties all the time. So, if you have a 1 bed apartment or a 2 bed flatshare or whatever that's in our budget we would be the best people to take it pls! Thanks, Rio & Haris
I am a clean, respectful, and social woman of 22 from Montreal. I am on a working visa in Australia for one year and am planning on staying in Melbourne the entire year. I love my own space, but I do love to hang out as well. I am looking for a quiet environment that does not host big parties every week. I have lived with other flatmates before and have always gotten along very well. I have become friends with most of them. The only thing that annoys me is a dirty kitchen because I love to cook, so this is pretty much my only requirement that will make me happy!
Hi, I'm Alex (male) . I'm a finance student and I am looking to rent the room for 3 months or more with a budget of $150/week (Including bills & unlimited internet) . Between Mon-Wed, I'm usually at uni or in the library during the afternoons. I generally go on hiking trips once or twice a month over the weekends. Feel free to join me! I am of Chinese ethnicity, speaks fluent English, non-smoker, generally clean, quiet and responsible. I will require at least street parking. I won't have any problems with rent and will be able to provide rental references if required. I enjoy the occasional conversation, red wine, movies, music, books and will definitely respect your privacy. Text me back on 0413925101 or on Flatmates. Thanks!
Im a 24yr old Australian girl originally from Perth but moved to Melbourne earlier this year and am in search for a room (preferably a private one). I have lived in heaps of sharehouses and am well and truly house trained. I'd be so keen for housemates of similar age and easy going individuals who are up for a bit of after work banter but also respect each others space when needed. Not so keen to come home to house of closed doors and complete silence every night. In terms of work, I have just started a new 9-5 job in south yarra. I am excellent at paying my bills/rent (and if I’m too poor i still call the bank of mum or the credit card). Im pretty easy going and love to have a laugh. I do love a cheeky night out on the weekend but am always respectful of other housemates and have perfected the silent return. Hobbies include netflix, netball, baking, socialising, doing nothing in my activewear, trying out new cafes and bars etc I can never think of what sort of things I should say here so if you have any other questions lemme know!!
Hey, I'm Dane, 22yo male originally from the north coast of NSW but lived in Melbourne for almost two years. I have just arrived back in Australia (20 Oct 2016) from five moths travelling overseas, so currently back at my parents place up north. I work in hospitality, so as a result I love a good meal and a well made beverage. Although I do enjoy a night out I enjoy a night in just as much. I have shared before and and very aware of how to co-exist with others that may not be on the same working schedule as myself (hospitality obviously has some odd hours). So being respectful of others in the house when I get home from work and what not. Hopefully when I get back to Melbourne I pretty much pick up where I left off, working full time and enjoying being 22.
Hello. My name is Tobias, I'm 24 years old and come from Germany. On the 1st of November I will start to research at the university of Melbourne. I guess I'm open minded, friendly and want to have a good time in Australia, because it's the last time befor I will write my thesis and gonna work.

I'm easygoing and friendly, always up for sharing a dinner or drink. enjoy spending time at home, watching movie but also enjoy going out at weekends. Hi there, I'm Benji! I am 27 and I'm currently working full time at a high school in Camberwell as an admin staff and general tech whiz! I'm also studying part time on the weekends to be a dog trainer, my course ends in January next year. I've just been told by my landlord that she will be demolishing the property I've been living at for the last 4 years and I need to find new accommodation before December 27th (merry Christmas, y'all!). I would be like to be out by the end of November ideally, but happy to work with you on a date depending on the property. I'm also pretty easy on location, so long as I can get to work in Camberwell in under an hour, I'm stoked! A bit about me: I love animals. I have two dogs named Squish and Nibbler. Squish is a 4 year old male Rottie X and Nibbler is a 2 year old female Kelpie X. They are both desexed, have been obedience trained, crate trained and I take them for regular walks. They are the dynamic duo and A-team! Squish will do anything for a treat and Nibbler lives for the ball, so they're good fun! I would also be bringing a 3 foot aquarium with me, but would be happy to keep it in my room if there isn't space elsewhere. It's a tie between coffee and TV for my drug of choice. I also love art, music, books, comics and Game of Thrones! I also like to build things...for example, I built a dog bunk bed and a couple of film sets (spaceships!) I'm currently living in a fully furnished house with all the trimmings, so if you think I could add anything of value to your house as well, I'd be happy to oblige! The rest will likely end up in the skip or in storage. Things like: 3 plasma TVs, stainless steel fridge, bar fridge, Nespresso machine, washing machine, vacuum, SEVERAL couches, desk, dining room table and chairs, lawn mower, whipper snipper, lots of tools, an outdoor gas heater, a media centre pc and several terabytes of movies and TV shows! I have lived in houseshares before and would like some people I can hang out with, though I am respectful of other people's space. I clean up after myself and, obviously, my dogs. I'm pretty easy going, so hit me up if you think you'd like to meet me and my pooches!
hi, im Roger( the one with the hoodie) from... Santiago CHILE!!...Im fun( people never say it thought) very respectful, i like to make jokes when theres enough confidence, but im good with everyday conversations , i'll be in a working holiday so technically i have money to survive, but i want to find any kind of job tbh, so if u wonder if i can pay ... yes, i can. i dont know what else write here so if u want more details or u consider i can live with u...then awesome!.
Hello, looking for a place to live in the next 6 weeks. I'm working and saving money for a trip along the Australian east coast. Very respectful of others spaces and things, very tired of living in hostels. I'm friendly, kind and fun, I guess! I can cook some Italian dishes and would love to share everything I have with my future housemates!
Looking for room to move in March. I'm quiet and clean. I study in RMIT Bundoora Campus. I would love to team up with someone to start a new share house for the next three years if we get along. Anywhere that can access to RMIT (Bundoora) easily will work for me.
I am a full time student studying dance at VCA. I consider myself a creative, friendly, silly, fun and most of all reliable kinda guy. I'm tidy (you should see my room!), and am very willing to clean communal areas. I would love to be living with like-minded people, that wouldn't mind grabbing a drink on the weekend, or a coffee too. I'd prefer to live somewhere close ish to the city, an hour max on public transport, cos i will have to commute to uni and back every day. I have some furniture and a bed and am willing to buy or use any stuff on offer. The lease is ending January in my current house but i am willing to move anytime around early December. Shoot me a message if i fit the bill!
Hello potential future flatmates! My name is Miranda and I am 21 years old. I am studying a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Melbourne and will be completing my degree in June, 2017. After having spent three years in student accommodation, it is well and truly time for me to move out and have the sharehouse experience. I am originally from Tasmania and moved to Melbourne for university and also to embark upon a new adventure. I work part time in a cafe on Sydney Road and I really enjoy my job (for the most part!). I love bad jokes, dogs, travelling (I am off to New Caledonia at the end of November - rejoice!), reading, coffee, food, the odd social drink and meeting new people. My ideal living arrangement would consist of: - Somewhere in the inner-north suburbs (close-ish to uni and work) - Somewhere with public transport nearby (I don't own a car) - A house of 3 - 5 people - Housemates around my age (early - mid twenties) - Other students would be pretty cool, but totally fine if not! - Housemates who are pretty chill with the occasional visit from my parents when they are up from Tassie. - Housemates who are willing to not just be housemates, but friends. I am uncertain about a move-in date as of yet, but I am will be homeless from the 10th of November. I am looking for both summer accommodation or 2017 accommodation. I might be a touch early to the party by putting this up now, but I would rather be safe than sorry. If any of what I have said sounds good to you, feel free to get in touch. I would love to meet you for coffee and get to know you. Have a nice day! :)
I've recently relocated from Brisbane to Melbourne to pursue creative endeavours. I'm tidy and reliable but also chilled out and enjoy a homely comfortable environment that I look forward to coming home to. I mostly like drawing, reading and exploring places on foot as well as checking out galleries whenever I can and going out every now and then! I've lived in sharehouses since I was 18 so well and truly sharehouse broken (respectful of other people's space and privacy and know the ins and outs of living with others). I'd love to find friends in my new housemates but I'm also pretty independent and enjoy doing my own thing as well as hanging out (I have a few friends here so you don't have to worry about me being a stage 5 clinger). I have guaranteed income which I can provide statements of so paying rent/bills is no problem, I'm looking for somewhere where I can get settled/feel at home and stay longterm. If you're interested in creative stuffs that'd be sweet but not a requirement. I also have a fridge as well as other kitcheny/house stuff if needed but if not that's cool too. Mostly just looking for a rad new house with some rad new people! PS If you have any pets I'd be proper happy to have some furry friends around!
I am extremely clean so I prefer to live on my own for this reason. I spend most of my time at work. I am studying as well as working next year. I'm searching for a place on my own in a studio or one bedroom apartment. Please message me if you have something available around the 16th of January when my current lease is up. I'm open to locations around Melbourne. Please send a link with pictures of the place :) Requirements: -Car park -Room to fit king sized bed & draws -Price - can go to $350 if the place is amazing! i.e., gym, new apartment or studio, LUG, location, etc. Thanks! :)
I am a very friendly and a warm person. I like to keep things neat and I mostly keep to myself reading novels or my kindle. I love to cook but rarely do so. I do enjoy an occasional social party and I adjust very easily. :)
I'm looking for an easy home environment to move into, preferably long term. I’m an easy going social person and I like to get out of the house to check out the food and drink scene. Ideally would like to live with people who are also social and easy to communicate with. I'm an international studies student and I work as well, but being a student doesn't affect my ability to pay bills on time. Send me through a message if you have questions :)
Hi I'm Geraldine! I'm 33 and work full time as a secretary for a Plastic Surgeon in Windsor. I would describe myself as someone who is honest, caring and hardworking. I like to think that I have a great sense of humour?.... I am an easy going person & get along with with most people. I also enjoy travelling, watching movies, going out for dinner/drinks and having great conversations, whether it be about the birds and the bees, or why the sky is blue? I do respect ones privacy and personal space and I must stress that I am a very tidy person. I'm a great housemate! 😊👍🏼
I am easy going, clean and tidy. I have good work life balance. I work full time as an Accountant. Being a buddhist, I am a regular mediator so I am a subtle person but I do come out of my shell occasionally with party attitude. I like watching sports and enjoy a glass of wine over meaningful conversations. I am open to cooking for room mates as long as they do their bit. This goes without saying, I am a good cook. :) I am a good listener and go along with any type of personality. I am not fuzzy and completely adaptable which makes me an ideal choice to share your house.
Im new to Melbourne, originally from the UK and looking to stick around a while as I have just got a job in the CBD full time. I'm clean, considerate, pay rent on time, do my own thing but also happy to mingle and socialise. I am a kiwi gal, and hail from the town of Napier, NZ. I graduated from Michigan State (Dietetics) where I was on the rowing team. After my 3yrs in Michigan I then moved on to live in Denver, Colorado for a year. I move to Melboune at the end of October with my company, where I will be working full time out in Box Hill. So looking for some chilled out folk to share a place with! I love to cook, have a casual drink, and general adventures are great.
Hey all! Eddie and myself are looking for a new home! We both work in cafes close to the CBD and have an avid interest in all things food and coffee. We mostly work 5 days a week, and usually always on weekends, so looking for a nice, clean, stable home. Saying that, we do like a good night out every now and then! We're both good at cleaning and are responsible in terms of bills etc. (I currently organise the bills for our current share house). We've had to move because the landlord has decided they would like to renovate :,( We don't take up a lot of space, and though social, we're generally pretty quiet/normal. We don't have a car, preferring public transport, but we can bring with us a fridge if needed. We are LGBT friendly and though we don't have pets, we don't mind them (Eddie loves dogs). Any other questions, please let us know!
Accountant - Clean, responsible and reliable Snowboarder/Traveller - Extremely social and easy going, love chilling at home with friends or getting a drink after work Outdoorsy - Always looking for my next thrill
Hey! We currently live in Hawthorn and our lease runs out in December. We both work full time in retail and are easy going people. Clean, respectful and love to have a wine and a boogie but also like to chill out during the week. We are looking to find a person or couple that we can not only share a place with but also have a friendship with. We have both been living in apartments for years and super keen to get a bigger place with an outside space so we can enjoy the summer having bbqs. We already have furniture for the place so it would be ideal to find someone who has minimal stuff. Hannah works at Chadstone and Matty works in the city so we want to find a place that is relatively close to a train station & the M1 freeway- but we are pretty flexible. Get in touch and we can meet up for a drink and see if we are compatible.
