Hey, Yo! I'm looking to move out of my current flat as it is a bit far from work. Flexible move in date. If anyone has a spare room hit me up! I work full-time in Marketing in the Melbourne CBD. I'm originally from NZ but moved over 4 months ago. I'm super easy going, very social and super clean and tidy, enjoy keeping fit, brunching and Netflix. Hit me up!
I am Kim from Berlin, Germany and I am a stage and costume designer. I am a clean and respectful roomie, who loves to hang out with you but I am also very independent. I am definitely looking for a place with nice flatmates who like to hang and chat, as I am new to the world down under. I am planning on travelling the continent as well, so for now I might just need a room for 2-4 months. a flexible(-ish) lease would be perfect for me.
Hey, I'm Ainsley :) I am currently studying a Graduate Diploma in Journalism at RMIT and working part time in a cafe on weekends and as a journalist through the week, travelling to Ballarat on Thursdays and Fridays. I am easygoing, friendly and enjoy meeting new people. I am fairly busy with uni and two jobs, but on weekends I love to socialise and am happy to chat anytime :) I'm looking for housemates who are also friendly and happy to socialise but also have their own space. Currently looking for somewhere for 3-6 months, but it could potentially be longer. I am looking to move out of my current apartment from the 27th September onwards, so my move date is flexible. Feel free to send me a message if you think I'd fit in with you!
Hi there - I am a considerate, reliable and friendly housemate. I work full-time in HR at a Hospital and I'm originally from Brisbane but living in Melbourne. I like to unwind with friends and enjoy getting out and about exploring all Melbourne has to offer on the weekends. I like to keep fit and enjoy cooking. I'm hoping to find a place that feels like home, not just a house.
Hey there! I come from France, near Switzerland and I am looking for live, work-it and explore Melbourne starting from mid-October. I'm a laid back and respectful person. I love nature and animals. I'm responsible and clean-up after myself. I'm a cooker, so I love to prepare lots of dishes and share it with other. Some of the activities I enjoy are hiking, photography, eating (and find some exciting places to eat) and i'm a sportswoman. I want to share, learn, talk and laugh with other flatmates. I would prefer somewhere close to the city or near public transit and a furnished room is preferred as well. Thanks for taking a look and message me if I seem like a suitable fit for your flat!
Hi, I"m Lydia 27. I have been living with my family in Goulburn NSW for the past 2 years but am now looking for something in Melbourne. As I am from interstate I am currently just looking for a temporary/flexible place to stay in, while I look for something more permanent. I would also like it to be in a Christian place. I"m a quiet sort of person that likes to have their own space but also likes to have a chat. My interest and hobbies include photography, art and reading. I am currently looking for work, so a place with internet would be good but not essential. This will not be the first time that I have lived out of home, so I can provide rental references if needed. I am looking to move in from the 1st November onwards. If you feel that I would make a good housemate feel free to message.
I'm a 25 year old girl from Norway, I just moved to Melbourne from the Gold Coast. Right now I'm taking a year off on my Law studies, to work and travel. I'm pretty social, tidy and respectful to others. I love to meet new people to share adventures with. I like having a quite night home with a nice dinner or cheese platters, but I also love going out for fun on the weekends. Normally I have a busy lifestyle with different jobs, volunteering, meeting friends, going to the gym and out for dinners. I speak Norwegian, Spanish and English and want to learn Italian or Portuguese. I'm looking for a nice flat with a good vibe and friendly people. Please contact me if you have any further questions Cheers, Tamia

Hello! I have just moved to Melbourne having been on the West Coast of Australia for the past nine months or so. I am looking to stay here and enjoy city life for at least four months so would be requiring accommodation for a mid-long term stay. I'm a considerate, bubbly and respectful 24-year old English female who is both clean and tidy. I have previously shared houses in Newcastle and London so know and respect the type of etiquette that should be held by all sharers. Although I'm a back packer and currently living out of bag, I'm craving a bit of normality and a non-bunk bed type of bed! Especially as I am looking to work full time. I love to cook and I am experimenting with baking so would be more than happy to make you some bits and pieces during my stay. I really need to doing some more excercise, motivators welcome. I like to explore local coffee shops. And I love the odd G&T. I would be looking to move in on/around the 24th September. I look forward to hearing from you.
Hi, my name is Ed and I'm a 31 year old who has just arrived from New Zealand, working full time as a Project Manager in construction. I'm always busy during the week with work and where possible, I like to get out and do lots of different things (running, touch rugby, swimming, gym, seminars, read, chill, etc). On weekends, I like to enjoy good food and get out. Occasionally I'll party, but now that I'm in my 30s, I definitely appreciate quiet time aswell. I'm looking for a place where people have their own lives but also have a yarn and even a couple beers/laughs now and then. Cleanliness (though not OCD clean) and being respectful are important to me and I'm looking for a place that appreciates these aswell. If you have a place somewhere around Carlton or within a short bike ride, please contact me! Thanks, Ed
I am looking for a house or apartment to share between us. I like clean and silent home, I love watching series and movies. I usually study and work during the week, over the weekend, I'm Brazilian looking for a good place to share and enjoy more of the Australian way of living
Hey there! I'm traveling from the US and am looking to live, work in, and explore Melbourne. I'm a down to earth, laid back, kind, and respectful person. I can get along with anyone and would love to be able to create lasting friendships with my future flatmate/s! But, alternatively if you're a private person and prefer a quiet atmosphere I can definitely respect that. I'm responsible and clean up after myself. Some of the activities I enjoy are hiking (anything outdoors really), photography, shows, and finding new and exciting places to eat. I would prefer somewhere close to the city or near public transit that's a quick ride into the city! Since I will be traveling on a working holiday, a furnished room is preferred as well. Thanks for taking a look and message me if I seem like a suitable fit for your flat!
Im your down to earth gal who loves to explore all melbourne has to offer. I want to be part of a house where we can cook for each other and have some drinks together on the weekends. Ive been in sharehouses for over 4 years so know what the deal is. Contact me if you have a place that sounds like the go!
Canadian living in Melbourne. Clean and considerate, likes to socialize, particularily over a bottle of wine (or two) after a long day. Working professional in the arch. and design industry, looking forward to getting out and seeing the city.
33yr old Professional. ( Horologist ) Moving to Melbourne in late October for a new job and starting all over again. I'm pretty neat and tidy, Great sense of humor ,value mine and others privacy, love to cook, social but like to do my own thing from time to time, got to the gym a few times a week, home is my place to unwind and relax after work so don't mind a social drink every now and then, would be great to have housemates that could become friends and show me all the great local spots. Ideally i'd like to be a half an hour from the CBD via tram, train or bus. I love Melbourne but not too familiar with suburbs i may have overlooked so let me know! I Love the outdoors so any excuse to get away for a spot of fishing and I'm all in! Recently got my firearms license so do a bit of sport shooting too Love animals so if you have a social dog or cat i don't mind at all :) Just got myself a new car so undercover or off street parking would be great!
Student doctor from Kuwait, with a penchant for photography. I like tidy spaces. some of the things that I like include walks around the city, the beach, history, furry animals, travel, the movies, a glass of red and extended lunches. I am easy going and always up for a weekend night out :)
HEY YOU! Lovely human/s with a spare room/s in your house! Are you: - A houseproud person who loves to create a beautiful, clean, tranquil living space? - Someone who has their own life and likes their own space, but also likes a bit of a cosy family vibe at home, not just living in your bedroom but having occasional chats in th kitchen or over cups of tea or an occasional shared meal? - Someone who likes to have an occasional dinner party/backyard BBQ, but not a big partier/drinker? - Queer-friendly, left-leaning, and friendly? - Non-smoker? (or outside smoker only, but preferably totally non-smoking) Do you: - Love and/or make music and/or art? - Love houseplants maybe a little bit too much? - Not watch TV/not have a TV/watch some Netflix shows on occasion but mostly in your own room? I'm looking for a new home. I'm a little heartbroken right now as 3 months ago I moved into the perfect space, but then the landlord decided they wanted to make more money from it and kicked us out to get a family in :'( Moving into a pre-established home would be preferable, but I'm also open to starting a new house with cool peeps. The issue is that I want somewhere ASAP (Just have to give 2 weeks notice at my current place, but have to be out by Nov 23rd - preferably much sooner as the nearest train station is going to be closed from Oct 6th and that's gonna make life very difficult!!) as I am going to be very busy in late Sept/early Oct and I don't have a lot of time for househunting! At least one female/nb housemate preferred, but could be convinced for the right dude. I'd like to live with 2 people ideally, open to sharing with 1 or 3 but probably not more than that. ME: - 28yo female musician/artist/voice coach. Friendly, silly, queer, sings a lot and sometimes loud but mostly well, and only in reasonable hours/when you aren't home. - I like to be really clean & tidy and make a beautiful home full of art and plants and pretty colours. - Non-smoker. Not much of a drinker. Not vegetarian but not eating a lot of meat at home. - I am really busy and keep to myself a lot working on my music etc, but I lived in a house previously with dudes who just lived in their rooms and I hated it... I love living with people who are down for chats and cosiness and laughs together when our schedules line up. WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR IN A HOUSE: - Preferably an actual house, not an apartment. - Sunshine! - Close or otherwise convenient to grocery stores (I don't have a car, only bicycle/motorbike/PT) - OSP for my small motorbike (can just be front yard or small side path) - Either quite cheap rent (between $500-800/month) for just a bedroom, OR... - Open to paying $800-$1000/month for somewhere that has an extra sunroom/study/office space from which I could teach voice students (or a very large bedroom which I could split with a divider to make into a semi-professional space.) - I am also currently renting a studio in Brunswick which I teach from 2-3 days a week. If my new home is around $500 - 700, I could afford to just teach from the studio 4-5 days a week. If it's $700-800, I'd wnna teach from home a couple days a week (so I could get someone in to share the costs of the studio)... if it's $800+ I'd want to be teaching exclusively from home as I wouldn't be able to also afford the studio. If I sound like a good match for your home and vice versa, please get in touch!
