Hi there, My name is Mitch, I am 22 and just made the move to Melbourne from Brisbane for work. I work full time in the city in a job I really enjoy. I am not a big partier but do enjoy having a drink on the weekends and the occasional night out, especially now that I live in Melbourne. During the week I like to keep it pretty low key with maybe the occasional dinner out or house dinner with everyone I live with. I have lived in a share house before so I definitely understand the importance of paying rent and bills on time, as well as being open, honest and approachable. Privacy is also always important and is something I always give my house mates, and something I expect in return as well. My interests range from traveling, socialising, watching Netflix/documentaries all the way to listening to peoples stories and life experiences. I am looking for some cool people to live with within Melbourne City or the surrounding inner city suburbs. As I sold almost everything I own in order to move, I am looking for a furnished room. Send me a message if you think I would be a good fit to your home :)
hey hey! 22 year old Perth girl relocating to Melbourne for work in the last week of October/first week of November. I'm a beauty therapist working for a Melbourne-made cosmeceutical company. I've been in a rental for the past two and a half years. I'm a homebody, and I like my space especially after work but always up for a chat and a laugh. I'm moving to further my career so I'll probably spend most of my time nerding out studying skin science! I like to go out with friends on the odd occasion but I'm coming to Melbourne knowing nobody! Im more interested in finding people to move into a new rental with. I want to live somewhere where I'm free to have friends visit or movie nights and that not be a problem. Looking for more of a homey feel and less of a boarding school feel. if that's something you're interested in HMU 🙂 ps. I'm obsessed with this house already so if you find something similar or already have a house similar with a spare room that would be perfect. I'll pay extra to have my room as a mezzanine/loft!
I work in Media, and enjoy going out with friends as well as my quiet time. I play Futsal on Sunday's, and enjoy baking desserts - there's always plenty of leftovers to share. I also love to binge-watch television shows and movies so my TV and film knowledge will come in handy if you're looking for another team member at pub trivia.
Hey there! I'm traveling from the US and am looking to live, work in, and explore Melbourne. I'm a down to earth, laid back, kind, and respectful person. I can get along with anyone and would love to be able to create lasting friendships with my future flatmate/s! But, alternatively if you're a private person and prefer a quiet atmosphere I can definitely respect that. I'm responsible and clean up after myself. Some of the activities I enjoy are hiking (anything outdoors really), photography, shows, and finding new and exciting places to eat. I would prefer somewhere close to the city or near public transit that's a quick ride into the city! Since I will be traveling on a working holiday, a furnished room is preferred as well. Thanks for taking a look and message me if I seem like a suitable fit for your flat!
I just returned from working oversees and am looking for a flatshare for at last 6 weeks while I get grounded. If all is good, would be great to extend if things are a fit. For myself, well-travelled, open minded, socially engaging, professional in career (IT Consultant/Mgr), financially and physically fit, into Latin dance, non-smoker and... conscientious about living in someone else flat (take care of things). Having lived in Melbourne before, so I wont get lost. Cheers Ken
Hi! I'm Alba Carrillo. I'm a PhD student (28) working full-time at the University of Valencia (Spain). As a part of my research project, I'll be working at Melboutne University for 3 months, so I'm looking for a place from 17th September to 16 December. I'm a psychologist and my research is about happiness and wellbeing, so I try to apply it in my life too :) I love animals (I'm a cat owner in Spain but I will travel alone) and nature, and I'm quite sensitive about it. I like to go out and to visit new places, I love food and I'm always willing for a good chat at home too. I like indie and alternative music. I'll be working during this period so I'll follow a quiet schedule during weekdays, and I'll try to make the most of my time there traveling and visiting new places on weekends. Looking forward to find a place to call home!
A bit about me: I work in the performing arts sector for a not-for-profit organisation called Girls from Oz. We do a lot of work with Indigenous girls in remote Australia so I do a little bit of travel, but my main location is in our office in East Kew. I'm pretty social, big on brunch and a few drinks on the weekend. Also pretty keen on heading into the footy whenever I get the chance. During the week I'm pretty lowkey - work kind of takes over and I'm looking at going back to do my Masters at uni next year as well. I'm 23 and just moved out of a great little place in Glen Iris with my equally great housemate and hoping to stay on that side of the world (it's perfect). Having also done a lot of backpacking and working/living in hostels I'm super used to living with larger groups of people and respecting a mutual space. Can't wait to hear from you!
I like trying new things and going to events. I play games and skate to relax. I'm not a great cook but I rock some recipes. I am not a clean freak but I put alot of thought into organising and like my place to be neat. I live in a studio but need a bigger space now and want to be surrounded by friendly people.
Hi there, I am from Mexico, 25 years old, currently studying and working, I am looking for a long term stay, clean and tidy person, like to meet new people, friendly. I've been living in a share house for one year, sharing my room, and now I want to hear my own room. I like watching movies, go for a run in the mornings, having a glass of wine with a good chat.
I work full time in management, I'm very easy going, respectful & clean. I tend to live a fairly quiet life most of the time. I enjoy yoga and cooking. (Specializing in middle eastern cuisine.)
Hi, I'm looking to start a share house. I have all the furniture and appliances we would need. Originally from Brisbane, I've been living in Melbourne for a few years. I'm looking for someone to share a large flat or a house. I'm in business development and tend to travel for work quite frequently. I love to go out and explore local cafés, bars & restaurants. I'm partial to a good glass of wine, chocolate and I love to bake. I also like to lead a healthy & active life which includes road cycling, yoga and gym. (I can take a guest to my gym for free on weekends!). I've lived in the U.K, Brisbane, New Zealand and all over Melbourne. I've had plenty of flatmates-so I'm house trained 😉 But I've been by myself in a one bedroom for over a year and I miss the interaction I had with previous house mates, so I'm looking for someone to share a 2-bedroom place. As much as I like to have a glass of wine, im not into party houses - I'm looking for a "home" environment and don't expect either of us to lock ourselves away in our rooms, (although, I'll always respect your privacy). Ideally, like me, you'd be 28-38 year old professional. It's important that you're a non-smoker and clean & tidy (at the very least: in the kitchen & bathroom). I have all the furniture & appliances we'd need except for your personal bedroom furniture. I'm still inspecting properties, and you're free to join me. Contact me if you think you might like to share a house with me.
Looking to rent a FURNISHED room in Abbotsford/Collingwood/Richmond or around, up to $300/week including utilities. About me: I am a 23 year old recent graduate starting an advertising internship in Abbotsford in the beginning of October.I have previously stayed in Melbourne for a year, and have been living away from home since 2013. I am tidy, respectful and sociable, and I enjoy cooking and dancing. What I'm looking for: At mentioned before, I'd love to live in a FURNISHED room around Abbotsford/Collingwood/Richmond or neighbouring areas, since it would facilitate my commute to work. I would like to live with like-minded people around my age. Since I'd be working 9-5, I'd rather live somewhere where loud music and parties are saved for the weekends, and while I understand privacy (everyone needs their me-time), I wouldn't mind becoming friends with future housemates over the occasional drink or cookout. I am looking for a homely place rather than a sleep-and-go kinda house. Bonus points if you have cats, or any other pets.
Hi I'm Kash, 30 and from London on a working holiday visa. I'm very outgoing and friendly and love being social, but at the same time mature enough to understand the need for privacy and space. I always clean up after myself and am respectful of others. I'm in Australia for up to a year and looking to make memories, and that definitely starts with making cool friends with the people I'll be living with. I'll try and charm you with my British wit and also have a knack for reciting different movie dialogues. That could definitely be entertaining after a long day at work over a take out (BTW that's not a real tattoo on my face. I'm not that gangsta).
I'm Kate, a 24 year old engineering graduate from Perth. I'm social and I'm clean. I love playing sport, getting into new TV shows, travel and a cheeky glass or three of wine every once in a while. I'll be working 9-5 so I'll be pretty quiet during the week, but on weekends I enjoy going out or having a couple of friends over for dinner. Communication is key! I want to create a comfortable, happy and respectful space with some awesome people!

I am friendly and easy going, work Full Time, Mon-Fri in the CBD, and currently live alone in a one bedroom apartment in Hawthorn close to Swinburne University. I've lived in the apartment for about 9 years. I would like to start a new lease or move into an existing share house offering a private room in the inner suburbs closer to the CBD. I prefer to meetup in person for a coffee to discuss further.
We are a perfectly harmonizing group of friends from Berlin, Germany that loves to laugh, meet new people or just relax. In Australia to travel the country and get some money. We are tidy, quiet and reliable!
Hi I'm Lauren. I'm 28 and work full time in retail management. I am an easy going and considerate person and value cleanliness. I love exploring new restaurants and bars, dancing and the occasional wine at home but also value my own space. I have been living in St Kilda East for the past 3 years. I am looking for a new place to move into or like minded people to team up with to find a new place in a similar area.
I am 31 yo Polish easy going and friendly girl who has just moved from Sydney to explore beauty of Melbourne. I am clean, tidy and trustworthy person, who likes quiet and clean place to rest. I can rent a room or share it with nice and clean girl.
My name is Kate - I'm 35, a writer and therapist, as well as homely creative and foodie type with a penchant for good whole food and organic cooking. Currently I work 35 hours a week including Saturdays, Sundays and one late night. I am financial, rent and bill reliable, spacially aware, friendly, v.open minded and socially and emotionally intelligent. I love music, art, dancing - dancing in the kitchen while cooking and listening to music! I am a seasoned housemate and great communicator and like to think that I'm a pretty ace all-rounder when it comes to making it work. I am looking for a grounded, earth and human friendly home with a bath and veg patch (or patio for pots?) I can share with other similarly minded and hearted human beings, ideally with others who are 28 + and who enjoy an active, creative and clean-living lifestyle. Because of the nature of my work, I enjoy my home as a sanctuary of nurture, rest, creativity and peace, rather than a super-social party house, and a space where the TV is not the central focus. I could live on my own and have done in the past, however I am choosing to share right now as I appreciate and welcome the social aspects of living with others - it expands my horizons and it can be wonderfully supportive in key ways if it is the right dynamic. I am looking for a large and light filled room in such a home. Please let me know if you are keen and I'd love to swing by at a mutually suitable time. If you'd like to chat more please do not hesitate to contact me. Warmly, Kate.
I'm a 22 year old (gay) guy, working full time in the CBD as a software developer. I like to spend my downtime either going out with friends with friends or catching up on shows and video games. I'm very laid back and wouldn't mind hanging out and getting to know my housemates, but also equally enjoy just doing my own thing and respecting each other's space. I'm not a complete neat-freak but I do like to keep things tidy, and hoping for similar. Move in date are flexible, I just need a few weeks notice. Stay duration also flexible, but preferably something between 5-12 months. Anyways, let's have a chat if you want to know more!
