Hi there! I'm a 27 yo full-time working professional, moving down from Brisbane and starting a new job and life in Melbourne! I'm clean, tidy and respectful of people's space. I'm keen to find relaxed people to live with, in a homely atmosphere. I enjoy traveling, keeping fit, trying out and exploring new things in general :)
Hello! My name is Angel and I'm a 19yo student currently living in Brisbane. I will be moving to Melbourne in July to study psychology at the University of Melbourne. I'm an outgoing, friendly person who loves to travel and meet new people. Although at times I like my "alone time" I do enjoy having a laugh over a few drinks. If you think we'd be good housemates don't hesitate to message me, I'd be happy to catch up sometime to see if we get along! I did also ask my friend for help writing this and the advice they gave was "whatever you do, don't mention you're a pies supporter."
Hey everyone, my name's Amber. I've recently turned 30 and am looking for a massive lifestyle and inspirational change - want to get away from Sydney as soon as possible and to relocate to Melbourne for work. Came to Melbs a while back for a holiday, fell in LOVE with it and didn't ever want to come back to Sydney - so now I'm trying to make that dream a reality. Currently I'm on Newstart allowance as a means of consistent income but please note this is absolutely temporary in terms of my long term financial position - I am only on this momentarily to cover my rent and bills while I make moves to relocate cities and secure full time employment. I will be obtaining a full time job as soon as I move to Melbourne and am already applying for a number of roles - it's just quite hard to do from interstate before you leave, most companies won't take your application seriously unless you're inquiring locally. A bit of background on me - I've been a multi disciplinary Artist since I was a child, with a main focus on Acting, Singing and Musicianship. I completed my tertiary education in Acting and I'm currently doing distance study in Electronic Sound Production and Indigenous Studies, to help expand my mind and teach me new skills. I love to read and learn, have solid conversations and a good laugh, share knowledge - books and artworks make up 70% of my earthly goods! A few of my interests include Reading, Playing Guitar, Socialising with friends on the weekend, Writing, Dancing, Acting, Cooking, Travel, Theatre, Music Production and Songwriting, Singing, Yoga and Martial Arts, Gaming (Xbox 360 - I have one to bring to the house and a load of games, if that's your thing too), binge watching Netflix or getting into some hardcore SBS on demand / ABC iview when I have free time, Photography and Art of all forms. Social justice, human/civil rights and equality are vital concepts to me. By no means a definitive list, but it gives you a bit of an idea. I'm friendly, respectful, fun, keep things in the house clean and am a weird balance of someone who likes to say hi and be social round the house when it suits people, but can also respect your space/privacy and like to enjoy my own when I'm feeling a bit hermity too - hopefully you won't be the type to take it personally if i need some time out to myself occasionally. Really not a precious princess about things and am not into passive aggressive types - if you're not the sort of person that can just have a calm, upfront chat and nip it in the bud if I accidentally do anything to annoy you, then we probably won't enjoy living together. I'm a smoker, although more than happy to go outside as this is most people's preference, I'm not obnoxious about it and respect people's house needs. Constantly burning fragrant oils / candles and incense anyway and am very conscious of mutual space, nothing like coming home to a house that feels welcoming and smells divine. Not a party animal, though I do enjoy having people round sometimes - during the week I'm pretty chill (although, also not boring hey - totally not adverse to cracking some wine or beers while cooking /when the mood strikes - I'm a pretty mean cook, double plus bonus!). Weekends are always a bit better for getting out and about or catching up with people. If this sounds like someone you wouldn't mind sharing space with, let me know. Thanks in advance mates, look forward to meeting some like minds - keen for a long-term place I can make a home, with cool, fuss-free housemate/s who like the sound of my listing. Looking to make the move by mid April or so / ASAP if I find something, got a flexible plane ticket booked ready to go - let me know if you have any questions. Peace and Thanks, Amber
Hi! I'm doctor over from the uk. Love Melbourne! Loving exploring the galleries and museums. And all the amazing restaurants. Hoping to find a friendly house share-aircon mandatory though! It's bloody hot here! Let me know if you're lovely and friendly and want a sociable house share but enjoy your own space too! X
My name is Olga, 36. Originally I am from Russia, have lived in Australia on and off since 2008. I am currently based in Sydney but intend to move back to my “home" Melbourne in early April. My life is pretty busy. I am doing two degrees at the same time: naturopathy and MBA (change management), and also work as an independent marketing and strategy consultant in energy sector. A couple of days a week I work and study from home. They say I am very easy, calm and wise, but I would also add a good sense of humour, social yet respectful of others’ personal space:) Tend to spend a lot of time outdoors, running, hiking, kayaking etc, travel overseas quite a lot. Clean and tidy (not too paranoid though). I enjoy a good conversation a nice glass of wine, occasionally like to have a couple of friends over for dinner. I am looking for a light house/apartment and spacious enough to share with a friendly male/female professional in their late 20s-40s. Own bathroom would be amazing. Well... It does sound like a thousand of other postings. At the end it just comes to "do we click or not", which we can figure out after the first contact:)
I'm originally from the UK. I've lived in Brunswick for the last year. My lease is up on the 8th April so looking for somewhere as my friend that I live with is moving back to the UK. I'm very clean and tidy. I enjoy going to the gym but am not a fitness freak. I enjoy socialising but also enjoy my own space. I work full time but am just about to start studying I will continue to work. I'm available pretty much immediately. I'm very easy going and get on with most people well and there's not much that fazes me.
Hey there! My name is Josefin, I'm 20 years old and I'm looking for a place to call home for 2017! I'm from a small town in Sweden and I'm still sometimes amazed by this city and how big it is when I'm out and about, I love it. I also love coffee, brunch, animals and music. Bonus points if you have a pet! I have a casual job at the MCG (weekends mostly) and I also work at a cafe about three days a week. Im quiet but social, tidy and organised. I like to go out and have fun with friends, as well as staying in and binge Netflix. Im social but very respectful of others personal space. I like to cook and bake, I'd like to think I'm pretty okay at it (I make amazing meatballs). I will definitely clean up after myself and I'm housetrained, so I'm used to sharing rooms and flats with other people. I don't really care where i live as long as its not too far from the city. I would prefer South Yarra or Richmond, but anywhere is fine really. I do not care about gender, sexuality, age and all that stuff:) Home needs to be LGBT+ friendly. Looking to move asap!
We're 20 years old and both working full time. Corey is from Melbourne, and Ellena is English. Corey is a 3rd year apprentice chef and Ellena works in cafes, but will shortly be going away to do her farm work to gain a second year on hr working holiday visa. We both enjoy travelling, Corey loves cooking and Ellena can often be found doing various crafts.
Hi future flatmates, I'm John looking for a room in a shared house, I'm really clean and tidy, I work full time but my own hours and on my free time I enjoy movies, going out, going to the gym, hiking etc
Hello everyone. Currently looking for a new place to call home for myself and my fluffy feral grey feline sidekick, Earl Grey. I work part time at a theatre (can get you free tickets!!) and part time as a semi-pro freelance composer and musician. I am well house trained as although I am fairly young I have been living in sharehouses since the age of 17 in a variety of setups and environments. I am LGBTQIA+ friendly, 420 friendly, and very open and caring. I keep myself pretty busy between work and musical commitments, but I am always down to share a meal and or a glass of wine together. I am not looking for a party house, and I really enjoy my downtime while also being quite social. I play the piano alot (I am told it is pleasant) so it's best if you like music. Naturally a clean person by nature and quite enjoy doing chores. Happy to subscribe to a cleaning roster but also more than capable of making a house work without one. So I am essentially looking for some nice, friendly people to live with and hang out with, in a house that is not too far from the city by public transport. A garden would be a bonus too as I have some plants and my cat likes to frolic amongst flowers haha. Look forward to hearing from you.
Hello everyone! My name is Ehsan (persian) and I am 27 year old professional working as a web developer at CHE proximity, close to Chapel Street. I am positive and outgoing person, love to have a nice conversation with people or glass of Wine. I am looking for a room where I can relax after busy day and I can call it my second home.
My name is Ben Gunn and I am a 22 y/o recent graduate from the University of Canterbury in NZ. I'm currently in the Maidstone area but am looking to relocate by 5th April at the latest. I have been flatting for the past 4 years while at uni so I know how to keep a place spotless, respect other peoples boundaries, while also having a good time! I love sports (rugby, cricket, basketball etc) and play a bit of cricket and basketball when possible. I enjoy a beer or two every now and then, and always like exploring new places. I am also into learning about the world around me, as I think it is important in today's day and age to have an open mind!
I keep a clean living space, I'm always down to have a night out, and also happy to meet new people. I do like my space. I'm very respectable and just out here from the usa on a work holiday!
Calm and tidy, I appreciate my privacy and respect yours. I'm looking for a quiet place to share with nice people. And if you have a cat - I'm ready to move in even today 😄
We really need a FULLY FURNISHED, WHOLE UNIT PROPERTY, which is **NEAR** to the train station! Queen size or king size bed is needed. (1 bedroom budget 400/wk, the cheaper the better, but if you have a really nice place which meet our requirement but beyond our budget, TELL US! We can consider about it.) We will move in by the beginning of July 2017 (to be confirmed, may be earlier or delayed). There will be 2 people moving in (And would like to stay for at least until end of the year, and up to 2 years if everything is going good.) We are students from Malaysia, who are studying at University of Melbourne and Monash University (Clayton). Since we are students, a reasonably big, long table in the living room/dining area would be great for us to study (Dining table can acts as a study table as well, as long as it is big enough). Apartment unit which is not too old and well taken care is much more appreciated. if you have any nice unit which may catches our eyes, just drop us a message ^^ !
27 year old, English guy. Working full time in the city, at Crown. Very quiet, clean and respectable housemate. Ideally looking for something with: - Good transport links - No pets
