So I'm moving to Melbourne and moving out of my house for the first time ever. *Cue dramatic music* Could be a scary thing but I'm sure I'll find a flatmate or two (it could be you reading this right now) who would end up becoming my best friend(s), and we could have the best time ever! So what do I like? Well, I love Technology (huge Apple fanboy), Football (so I would be staying awake late to watch some matches), watching stuff on YouTube, binge-watching shows, travelling, and playing sports like football, basketball, and table tennis. I do enjoy gaming, playing boardgames and love a great cup of coffee. When it comes to music, I've recently got Drake's Scorpion album on repeat! If you don't like that kind of music, don't worry, I love a lot of different genres :) Keeping my space clean is really important, and also having some privacy from time to time. I would be going to Melbourne School of Design to study Digital Technologies starting February 2019, so finding a place close-by would be great! Can't wait to hear from you! :)
I am moving from my home island of Bali to start work at a mine consultancy firm in the CBD as a graduate engineer. My girlfriend will be moving in with me, she is a freelance graphic designer from Sydney. Looking for something that is within a 15-20 mins cycle from market street, homey, furnished and filled with flatmates who are clean and enjoy their own space but doesn't mind a glass of wine or two with us on a friday night! 🥂🤙
I tend to find myself at work for long hours, so you'll find me keen to enjoy some quality down time whenever I can with friends, or even by myself. I look after the communal space and clean up after myself. Finally, I try to think of myself as an interesting person to talk to, but you can be the judge of that.
We are a couple from Ireland and are moving to Melbourne in October for at least 2 years. We are sociable, easy going, fun loving, interesting people and we are easy to live with. We get up early and work hard (we are both Dentists) but also like going places and doing cultural things. We are active people and like gymming, CrossFit, running, footy, yoga, surfing, snowboarding/skiing. We also like to eat healthily and love coffee! We do have many other interests also, watching films, reading and we have travelled all around the world making friends with people from all backgrounds. We also love to have a drink (or 10) at the weekend or when we have time off and would hope to make friends with the people we like with and not just share a house! We've come to Melbourne to experience a new city and meet some new people. Looking forward to hearing back from you! Rebecca + Joseph
Fresh engineering grad working at GM Holden in design. Love the outdoors and going hiking, skiing, biking, rock climbing, any outdoors is good. Appreciates the finer things in life (good food and drinks). Work full time so during the week pretty regular schedule, weekends prefer to go out for hikes or go explore. Can appreciate time alone but also love to be sociable. I bring cheese, wine and good vibes to the table. Have my own furniture so looking for a teamup but also happy to join a sharehouse :)
Hi, I'm Monica. I'm in my late 30's and work full-time. I'm tidy, clean and respectful of other's privacy. I see my home as a sanctuary to relax in and hope my flatmate has a similar outlook. As for hobbies, I enjoy doing zumba, seeing friends, watching movies and reading anything (books, magazines and now my Kindle!).
Hey guys! I’m Nila, I’m 23 and studying a Master of International Relations at Melbourne Uni, while working part-time at Oxfam Australia in Carlton. When I’m not studying or working I’m mostly out with friends picnicking in Edinburgh Gardens, having a beer at the pub or going to a gig, music festival, or on the odd camping or hiking trip. At home I’m usually watching a good tv show (or trash tv, let’s be honest), reading, cooking or trying to keep my houseplants alive. I’m looking for friendly and down to earth housemates who are open-minded, clean and willing to do their fair share around the house (the usual stuff), respectful of other people’s space and downtime but also keen to have a chat/drink/dinner together every now and then! I’m a huge animal lover and have plenty of experience living in share houses here in Melbourne and overseas. I’m looking to move in around late October, but willing to pay rent from when the room is available. If there’s anything else you’d like to know about me please get in touch!
Hey I'm Gel! I work full time as a training manager and store manager at a store called glassons on chapel st! This is a womens fashion store, i have a plethora of clothes so if you ever need something to wear on the weekend hit me up haha. I work 40-50 hours a week tuesday-saturdays. During my work week i take it pretty easy, On the weekends i am usually out with friends. Otherwise I love to have a drink at home and hang out. I also love to cook and spend a bit of time in the kitchen :) I have a passion for plants, food, music, sewing and my work! I'm a pretty social person and can get along with everyone! I also like my alone time and am very respectful of Others. I moved out of home a few years ago so I have experience living with others :) I am looking for a medium-large private room, if it has robes that would be awesome but not essential, just room for a rack and cupboards. I have all my own furniture, i also have a washing machine if needed, and other furniture if needed at the house (including a grouse couch). I have listed st kilda/prahran area for work, but also carlton/fitzroy because i love this area and know it well. My move date is flexible, I am looking to move out end of october but can move a bit earlier then that and also up until the end of november if required. I am really looking forward to hearing from you! If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to contact me :) Thanks!

Hi, I’m Jamie, I’m 30 from Ireland and have just started working full time in Melbourne at a Branding agency as a web developer. I’ve been in Australia since January, previously living in Sydney for 8 months and working there. I've lived with many people over the years and know how to be respectful and tidy. I don’t smoke, work all day and relax evenings during the week and enjoy being social experiencing Melbourne at the weekends.
Hey there guys! I'm from Malaysia and I recently obtained my PR to live in Australia. Ready to move any time after finding a housemate and securing a place to live. A little info about me, I'm a certified Chemical Engineer and I was working for a Japanese company for 5 years. I don't plan to find a permanent job for the first few months in Melbourne. Probably find some casual jobs to do and explore the area. I love traveling. I hope you are down to explore with me! I am very friendly and very neat. I don't smoke and I only drink with good company. I'm a tech lover and a video gamer. I will be bringing my PS4 with me. I'm also addicted to binge watching Netflix but I'm sick of watching alone so please do join me. I can't cook and you'll have to save me in that department but I'm very interested in learning. Besides that, I will have no friends in Melbourne so you have no choice but to be my best friend. I hope you're up for all the banter. About the arrangement, I am only looking for 1 other housemate. I would prefer a female because I have too many male friends and I really need to branch out. But if I'm forever doomed to only have male friends, I will accept my fate :p For the location, I would like to live in Richmond but anywhere nearby is fine if the company is right. If anyone would want to team up, I believe we can team up and find a fully furnished 2 bedroom apartment for $600 - $700 per week. Hit me up and let me know what you guys think! :)
Hi my name is Omar, I'm currently a PhD student at The University of Melbourne. This is my first year in the city. My girlfriend and I are looking for a place close to the Uni (a one-bedroom apartment if possible) to live there at least one year.
I'm feminist, easy-going, helpful and reliable woman who is respectful to others and doing a PhD in psychology and sessionally working as a lecturer. I live tidy, clean and minimal. I like having a chat with friends. I love books and listening to other people's stories.
I am clean, organised and excited to explore Melbourne! I am a very positive, easy going, energetic young professional looking for short term accomodation while I settle into a graduate position in Carlton.
I am an American traveling in Australia over the next year before I go back to school. My plan is to live and work in Melbourne for the foreseeable future. Looking for roommates in a relaxed living situation. I am clean, easy going, and dependable. I am a great roommate because I am easy to get along with, respectful and like to have fun. Also I am a great cook and would love to make authentic Mexican food for my new roommates!
I'm a 25 year old makeup artist moving to Melbourne from Sydney. I love music, reading, crappy reality tv, keeping active and a bit of banter. I'd love to meet people who enjoy sharing a glass of wine but are also happy to do their own thing, as I'll be relatively busy. Hope to hear from you soon!

Hi all, the names Scott, I'm 31 from England and loooking for a place from between Elwood to Richmond kind of area. I'm easy to get along with sociable but respect other people's routines and boundaries all the same. I work full time as a landscaper mon-fri and some Saturdays also so you will most likely only see me for an hour or two on an evening as I normally get early nights for work. I'm looking for somewhere for 6 months at the moment as I'm not sure what my plans will be after that time but I'll give you due notice as to my intentions. Anyway if you have any questions or have a place that might suit then send me a message over, cheers for looking have a nice day Scott.
I'm Hugh and I work in Education policy for the State Government. I am originally from the Yarra Valley but have been living in and around the CBD for the last few years, looking for a relaxed house but having lived with a partner and by myself in the past I am happy to do my part of household chores, paid shared costs and keep an all round tidy home. Keen for a bit of social time and happy to have a conversation after work or share a meal but also perfectly happy to spend time on my own. Am vegetarian but have lived with people who eat everything and do not mind at all. I'm also LGBTIQ+ friendly.
Hey! My name's Dan and I'm originally from the fringes of Sydney. I got back from living in Queenstown, NZ a couple months ago, I was a tour guide while I was over there and spent a lot of my time either out doing hikes or rock climbing or just hanging with friends. I'm looking to make the move down to Melbourne and find some rad people to live with! I'm not a super big party person, I like to go out every now and then but not intending on bringing the party home constantly, I know at least 2 card tricks I can show off and more than enough card games to keep things nice and competitive AND give really great massages (according to all housemates prior) and most importantly I know how to look after myself AND a house, so you don't have to worry about dishes left for daysss on end (lived that experience, hated it, never again). I'm also allergic to cats, that's probably noteworthy too. ANYWAY, hope to hear back from you? Talk to you? Idk how this website works. Peace!
